Larry M. Tredway, 84, of Galva, KS, passed away on February 15, 2024, surrounded by his wife and children. Larry is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years, Berenice (Johnson). &nbsp;Larry is also survived by two sons Brent (Jena) of Houston TX and Burton (Jane) of Wichita KS, as well as a sister Donna Ruth Graham of Mesa, AZ. &nbsp;Larry was also “Papa” to 8 grandchildren, Ryan, Haley, Lindsey, Lilly, Layla, and Jonathon, Jena and Jaden. &nbsp;He was preceded in death by his parents George and Beulah Tredway of Burden, KS.

Larry was an avid K-State Fan. He and Bernie held season football tickets and attended a countless number of games over the years. Everyone was always welcome at the Tredway’s tailgate, and nobody ever left hungry or thirsty.&nbsp;

Larry was very civic and community minded as he called Galva home for over 50 years. &nbsp;He served numerous terms on the Canton-Galva School Board as well as on the Galva City Council. &nbsp;He was the first to volunteer when his sons were active in school and was always proud to help sponsor any local events and activities that promoted the local community. Larry never missed his sons’ games and could be seen attending Canton-Galva sporting events long after his two sons graduated. He was also very passionate about his grandchildren and attended their sporting events whenever he could.

For nearly 50 years, Larry wholeheartedly served many clients as an Insurance Agent. &nbsp;He considered many of his clients close personal friends. The personalized service he provided was second to none. These clients knew that with one phone call, Larry would be out the door to visit them to meet all their needs.

A visitation will be held at Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut St., McPherson, KS 67460 on Friday, February 23rd&nbsp;from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. &nbsp;The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 24th&nbsp;at the McPherson First United Methodist Church, 1200 E Kansas Ave, McPherson, KS 67460 with a graveside committal following at the Empire Cemetery near Galva, KS.

LaVerne Wesley Trindal, 75, died February 14, 2024, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born October 4, 1948, in Concordia, to Wesley LaVerne and Donna Irene (Cyr) Trindal.

LaVerne graduated from McPherson High School. He became a bus driver for Trinity Jr./ Sr. High School. &nbsp;

LaVerne enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved decorating for the holidays, animals and spending time his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

On February 20, 1981, he married Karen Elaine Showalter, in Miami, OK. They shared over 42 years of marriage.

LaVerne is survived by: his wife, Karen Trindal of Hutchinson, KS; children, Hal (Beth) Trindal of Girard, KS, Heather Susan (Levi) Hastings of Pittsburg, KS, Clifford Trindal of Hutchinson, KS, Megan (Casey) Word of Westminster, CO; sister, Dena Rhea; brothers-in-law, Craig Hull of Arlington, KS, Doyle Showalter of Hitchcock, TX, sister-in-law, Beth Hull; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by: parents; brother-in-law, Curtis Rhea; brother, Jay Myers; and nephew, Tim Rhea.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Elliott Chapel, with Reverend Mik King officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Darlow.

Gary Wayne Gill, 59, of Newton, Kansas passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. 

He was born in Concordia, Kansas to Dean Gill and Colleen (Alquist) Gill. He was raised in Salina, Kansas where he attended schools and was a graduate of Salina South High School. His working career was in carpentry and construction. He served in the U.S. Army Air National Guard where he received his honorable discharge.&nbsp; Gary loved the outdoors enjoying camping, fishing and hunting. He was very patriotic and appreciated his country.

Gary is survived by his mother Colleen, his son Zachery and wife Jamie, grandchildren Jayden, Natalie and Nikko, his brother Patrick and wife Zephyr, nephews Zap, Volt, Bas and Cru.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his dad Dean Gill and nephew Ocean Van.

Jackie Ray Houseberg 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. in Wichita Kansas.&nbsp; He was born in Wichita Kansas to Maxine (Gordon) Houseberg and Jack M Houseberg. His parents both preceded him in death.&nbsp; He attended North High School in Wichita.&nbsp; His career as a cement finisher was with the USD 259 School District where he retired from.

He was a lifelong Oklahoma Football Sooner fan. &nbsp;Game days were big. &nbsp;Jack's family and friends would have a great time, which were filled with a lot of fun. This sometimes conflicted with his attendance to the Winfield Bluegrass Festival with Banned Camp every year in September. Somehow he always managed to at least watch the football games on television or attend the game.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Karen (TenBarge) Houseberg and his children Jessica (Houseberg) Jones and her husband Heath of Rose Hill, KS and Kristopher Houseberg and his wife Brooke (Brownlee) Houseberg of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren: Grace Jones, Hayden Houseberg and Huxton Houseberg; his sister: Pam (Houseberg) Lipton of Andover; other family and friends.&nbsp;

Joseph R. “Joe” Lichti, 71, of Moundridge, died Feb. 14 surrounded by his family at the Newton Regional Medical Center. Joe, a lifelong resident of rural Moundridge, was born Sept. 19, 1952, in Newton to Raymond and Betty Lichti. He grew up on a farm west of Moundridge, learning to drive a tractor at the age of 6. He farmed most of his life and was employed as a farm worker and large equipment operator. He served as a volunteer firefighter and reserve police officer in Moundridge.

Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was known for hosting fun social activities that sometimes involved roasting a pig or taking his friends pheasant hunting.

He was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church of Moundridge and served as usher. He went to Cloverleaf Grade School and graduated from Moundridge High School. He attended Bethel College in North Newton for a short time.

As a youth, Joe was a member of the Golden Opportunity 4-H Club and later the Future Farmers of America. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association.

On Aug. 9, 1975, he married Debra Sue Dirks at Eden Mennonite Church. They had three children, who gave him five grandchildren, who provided great pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, of the home; a son, Matthew and his wife Leah of Moundridge; a son, Tyler of McPherson; and daughter Samantha and her husband Heath Doane, of Canton; two grandsons, Atley and Zaiden Lichti; and three granddaughters, Preslie, Piper and Pixie Doane. He is also survived by his sisters, Lou Lichti of Frederick, MD, and Carol Lichti and husband Jim Haag of Victor, ID.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Eden Mennonite Church. Diane Lynn Williams, 67, died Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at her home in Hutchinson, Kansas.

She and her twin brother, Dan Roberts, were born on New Years Day, January 1, 1957 in Hutchinson, Kansas, she was the daughter of Richard Harold Roberts and Dona Marlene Roberts. With her father being a Pastor, the family lived in several places. Diane graduated from high school in Greensburg, Kansas in 1975.

She married Benny Mark Williams on April 22, 1979 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.&nbsp;&nbsp;The couple moved to Kansas from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1987, where Diane worked as a C.N.A. at the Winfield State Hospital &amp; Training Center in Winfield, Kansas for several years. The couple then moved to Great Bend, Kansas where they made Great Bend their home.

Diane and Benny loved to travel in their RV across the county taking many vacations stopping at lakes, museums and many tourist attractions. They loved spending time with their family and making cherished memories.

Her husband Benny died on October 22, 2014. Diane moved from Great Bend to Hutchinson in 2018.

Diane loved her family tremendously and her most cherished moments and memories were made with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include daughters April Williams-Harmon of Hutchinson and Amy Hartung with Evan McGee of Pretty Prairie, Kansas; son Brandon Williams with Karissa Wagner of Hutchinson; brothers Mike Roberts and wife Joy Roberts of Ponca City, Okla., Pat Roberts and wife Cindy Roberts of Shelby, N.C., Dan Roberts of Burrton, Ks., and Tim Roberts and wife Sherrie Roberts of Plevna, Ks.

Diane adored her grandchildren and they brought sunshine, meaning and purpose to her life. Her surviving grandchildren and their significant others are&nbsp;Marissa Kennedy with Josh Graves, Adrianna Kennedy with Karissa Williams, Garrett Kennedy with Ali Leiker, Hannah Seals with Jarell Seals, Bralee Williams with Blake Stegman, Bryson Hartung, Hayden Hartung, Alizanna Hartung, Brooklyn Williams, Azlyn Williams, Aidyn Chavez, Ariya McBlair, and Axtyn Wagner; along with two great grandchildren Braden Kennedy and Benny Graves.

Along with her husband, Benny Williams, Diane is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Dona Roberts, and brother Bret Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Affordable Cremations Plus, 7920 W. Kellogg Drive, Wichita, Ks.

Eddie Gaylord Jennings, 76, of Haysville, entered fully into the presence of our Lord and Savior on January 18, 2024.&nbsp; He was born in Little Rock, AR on January 29th, 1947, to Lewis Thomas Jennings and Claudia M'rhea (Shipman) Jennings. He was a graduate of West High School, Wichita. After graduation he served in the US Navy. His career as a mechanic carried over into his great love for race cars and drag racing which he greatly enjoyed helping others by being part of the crew.

Eddie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, JoAnn "Jody" Goodwin; daughter, Djuana Wishon; sons Ricky and Danny Goodwin; sister, Sharon Meeks; brothers, Tommy and Patrick Jennings.

He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Goodwin, Vanessa Israelson; son, Roy Jordan; sisters, Susan Forrester, Cheryl Cox, Debra Slapar, Pamela Jennings; brothers, Michael, Phillip, and Donald Jennings; various nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Tamyla was born on August 25, 1956, the daughter of Kenneth A. and Bonnie L. (Graham) VanAmburg.&nbsp; She had worked at Ferguson Production, McPherson Senior Center, and at Taylor Mart.

Survivors include: her children, Misty Einfeldt (Jeff Hartzell) of McPherson, KS and Alan Record of McPherson, KS; siblings, Becky Henry (Rick) of McPherson, KS, Darcy Wann (Tom) of McPherson, KS, Randy VanAmburg (Julie) of McPherson, KS, Jana Bitel of McPherson, KS, Cindy Vincent (Keith) of Arizona, and Sherry VanAmburg (Lorin) of California; six grandchildren, Jasmine Reed (Terry), Skyler Einfeldt, Blade Einfeldt, Savannah Record, Dakota Record, and Cody Chrislip; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth VanAmburg and Calvin &amp; Bonnie Willems, and sisters, Kimberly Williams and Kim Willems.

Susie attended Hutchinson High School.&nbsp;

She held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved cats.

Susie is survived by: mother, Rachel Caudillo; three brothers, Ben (Linda) Caudillo, Ronald Caudillo and Joseph Caudillo, numerous nieces and nephews and her dear friends Laura Mendoza and Christina Montes.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Kenny Wilson; father, Narciso Caudillo; and nephew, Bruce Caudillo.

Walter George Cugler, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13th, at his home in Lorraine, KS.

George was born December 21, 1946, in Delmar, MD, to the late Clayton "Sarge" Cugler and Anna K Cugler.

George worked for 32 years for Dupont in Seaford, DE, retiring as a Plant Control Room Operator. He loved to fish and was known for being a Bass Master Pro, winning several bass tournaments up and down the East coast. He also enjoyed landscaping, hunting, and bullshitting with his buddies over morning coffee.&nbsp;

He is survived by his son, Randall L. Cugler of Delmar, DE, his daughter, Melissa L (Bob) Varcados of Lorraine, KS, his sister, Mary F. Loscomb of Lorraine, KS, his grandchildren, Ashley B (Matt) Beaver of Hoisington, KS, Ronald S. Bennett III of Rehoboth, DE, Tiffany M.L. Baken of Loveland, CO, Cynda Cugler of Seaford, DE, Kristin T. (Kolten) Palmer of Meeker, CO, and 16 great grand children.&nbsp;

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Vicki L. Cugler, his son, Clayton D. Cugler, and his brother, Michael Cugler.

George will be greatly missed and all of his crazy "stories" will never be forgotten. He was truly one of a kind.

Royce Lee Yager, 73, passed away peacefully February 11, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis with his loving partner Marcia and daughter Stephanie by his side. &nbsp;Royce, the youngest of two brothers, was born June 16, 1950, in Hutchinson, to Regis and Mary Joan (Collins) Yager, Sr.

He attended Nickerson Schools, and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, in the 101st Airborne Reconnaissance Platoon. &nbsp;He retired as a road operator after 12 years of service with Reno County Public Works. &nbsp;

Royce had an immense passion for music. He enjoyed a variety of music from the 50s through the 80s eras which included a lot of Motown. &nbsp;His adventurous spirit led to his interests, including guns, fishing, classic muscle cars, and building computers. &nbsp;He was known to be strong willed and stubborn at times, but always carried himself with dignity and strength. Those close to him will always fondly remember his fun, lighthearted sarcasm and witty sense of humor.

Royce was a principled man of integrity in search of the truth. In his final days, he deeply contemplated his faith, recommitted himself to Christ, and was baptized.

Royce is survived by: &nbsp;common-law wife, Marcia Cotter of Arlington; daughters, Stephanie Wright (Michael) of Yates Center, and Deena Fuller (Jim) of Wakarusa; brother and best friend, Regis Yager, Jr. (Carol Dirksen) of Nickerson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two dogs, Paxton (Puppy) and Caesar (Goober); several loyal friends; and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by: &nbsp;his parents; Stephanie and Deena’s mother, Deborah; and his second wife, Kathy Yager.

Catherine ‘Cathy’ L. Borders, 87, died February 11, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society-Hutchinson Village. &nbsp;She was born September 21, 1936, in Anthony, KS, to Harry Delbert Seifert and Opal Iola (Bohnert) Seifert.

Cathy was a 1954 graduate of Hutchinson High School. &nbsp;She was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Gold Wing Touring Association, and Hutchinson Wesleyan Church.

Cathy enjoyed doing word search puzzles. &nbsp;She was a homemaker and loved it when the family was together celebrating special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. &nbsp;Cathy’s most important titles in her life were wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

On August 20, 1954, she married Robert Gene Borders in Joplin, MT. &nbsp;They shared over 54 years of marriage, prior to his death on June 1, 2009.

Angie was born on November 26, 1959, in Newton, KS, the daughter of Martin Weaver and Eva June (Amos) Tucker.&nbsp; Following high school graduation, she attended Brown Mackie College in Salina, KS.

She was a secretary and member of the Andover Lutheran Church in rural Windom, KS.

She is survived by her dear friend, Janet Carlson, guardian, Danelle Cavender, and her church family from Andover Lutheran Church.

Anders, Wayne V., 96, retried Boeing supervisor, died February 15, 2024.

Wayne was born January 22, 1928 to John and Elsie (Vogts) Anders in Moundridge, Kansas. Survivors include his sons, Timothy (Janet) Anders, and Bradley (Sheila) Anders, brother Ira (Nina) Anders, sister, Irene (Bill) Van Wey, grandchildren, Amanda (Nate) Blair, Travis Anders, Brooke Anders, Austin Anders, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and a nephew. Preceding him in death were his parents, and sister, Helen (Bill) Hobbs.

Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Petersen Family Funeral Home, 215 North Main Street, Newton, Kansas. Donna M. Bontrager Martin of Hesston, KS died February 2, 2024, after an 11-month journey with cancer. Donna was born on May 22, 1939, to Jerry J. and Edna Bontrager, the youngest of four children. She grew up on their family farm near Yoder, KS. Donna attended Haven High School for two years, graduated from Hesston Academy and attended Hesston College for one year. At the Academy, she met the love of her life, Larry Martin, and married in December 1957. They farmed together in Minot, ND for 38 years and raised three children.&nbsp;

Donna was active in her church, singing duets with Larry and served as Sunday School superintendent. Donna worked with Stonecroft Ministries for 20 years, as area representative and shared her faith story at Christian Women’s Club events in the North Central region and several Canadian provinces.&nbsp;

In 1987, intrigued by the art of trapunto, Donna created greeting cards and then framed art. From a fun hobby emerged a thriving business, Memories by Donna. After she and Larry moved to Hesston, KS in 1995, Larry framed her art and they traveled together to many craft shows in the U.S. Donna loved her family, friends, flowers, decorating and sharing her peanut brittle. Donna’s bright light and laughter will be deeply missed.&nbsp;

Donna is survived by daughter Torrie Martin, grandson Holden Brubaker and partner Alisha Alomia, Lancaster, PA; son Kendall Martin and daughter-in-law Deborah (Maust) Martin, Dousman, WI; son Kirby and daughter-in-law Darcie (Messerli) Martin, Hesston, KS, grandson Chase and wife Jordan Martin, great granddaughter, Isabelle, Ft. Worth, TX, and grandson Brock Martin, Topeka, KS. Leesa Anne Mersereau, 61, of Canton, Kansas, passed away on February 11th after a courageous battle with cancer.

Leesa was born on March 15th, 1962 in Burlingame, KS. She was raised the majority of her childhood in Topeka, KS, and later relocated with her family to Claremore, OK in her teen years where she attended various schools. She raised her children in the Wichita, KS, and Claremore, OK regions. Later in life, she met her husband, Bill Mersereau and they were currently living in Canton, KS at the time of her passing.

Anyone who ever met Leesa knew two things; she loved Jesus, and she loved people. She demonstrated this love by always being willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was passionate about four things; God, family, church, and serving others. She could always be counted on to offer an encouraging word and give one of her famous hugs. She loved to craft, go antiquing with her sister, and spend time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed but we rejoice knowing she is in the eternal presence of God based on her faith in Jesus Christ.

Leesa is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie. And is survived by her loving husband Bill, five children, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and countless friends and family members who all loved her greatly.

The memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Newton, KS on Friday, February 16th at 2 pm. The dress is casual. Charlyn Kay “Char” Swofford, 59, died February 13, 2024, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born January 7, 1965, to Patricia Ann (Keller) Pennock.

Char graduated from Hutchinson High School. &nbsp;She worked as a phlebotomist at the Hutchinson Clinic for many years. &nbsp;In addition, Char worked at Wesley Towers Retirement Community, ensuring the Thorne Care residents were filled with activities, crafts, laughter, hugs, and unconditional love. &nbsp;Most recently, she was the store manager for Bornholdt Plantland, where she gained a second family with Gary, Charla, and the Bornholdt boys, while doing what she loved- digging in the dirt, working with plants, and helping others so they too could have a beautiful yard and flowers. &nbsp;Char enjoyed working on craft projects, riding her Harley-Davidson Trike, and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks. &nbsp;Despite her health challenges, she was always wanting to help others with her loving heart and bubbly and positive personality. &nbsp;Char remained upbeat no matter how she was feeling. &nbsp;

Char is survived by: &nbsp;her mother, Pat Pennock of Hutchinson; siblings, Michael Pennock of Oceanside, CA, LeAnn Mease (Lamont) of Wichita, and Terri Maddox (Charles) of Sunset, TX; nieces, Lana Lambert (Josh) of Inman and Jamie Wood (Tyler) of Hutchinson; her precious great-nephew, Sebastian and great-niece, Aria Wood; and many, many friends.

In addition to being a homemaker, Joan worked at Baize Jewelers for over 40 years and then at JC Penney after retirement. She loved music and singing, her “English Garden,” and was also an excellent seamstress. Joan was a member of Union Valley Bible Church and was active in Young At Hearts.

On February 14, 1953, she married Gerald J. “Duck” Drake, in Hutchnson. They shared 62 years of marriage before his death on March 4, 2015.

Joan is survived by: her sons, Steven &amp; Karen Drake and Richard &amp; Toni Drake of Hutchinson, Robert &amp; Lisa Drake of Cocoa Beach, FL; grandchildren, Heather &amp; Ben Bocell of Dallas, TX, Drs. He was born October 23, 1938 in Ludlow, Oklahoma to his parents Carl and Ellen Trimble who proceeded him in death. He married the love of his life, Toni Faye Bensch on September 4, 1956.&nbsp;They had a long love story of 67 1/2 &nbsp;years together. They had three children, Steve Trimble who preceded them in death. Jeﬀ (Kathy) Trimble of Valley Center, KS, Brenda (Greg) Williams also of Valley Center, KS. He was blessed with seven grandchildren. He also dabbled in oil painting a few years. &nbsp;He will be greatly missed by each and everyone of us who knew and loved him dearly. However, we have the assurance that we will see him again one day soon in heaven.&nbsp;

Gene Wayne Warren, 81 of Sedgwick, Kansas passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.&nbsp; He was born in West Monroe, Louisiana, son of Claude Densley Warren, Sr. and Candance Daisey (Hobgood) Warren-Wiens.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donnitta R. Warren; son Dillon Warren, daughters Dakota Warren, Sherrie (Alan) Nelson, Shelly (Eric) McManus, Rhonda (Tracy) Posey and Debbie (Steve) Evans; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren;&nbsp; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.&nbsp; He was preceded by his parents, siblings Claude Jr, Thelma, Hazel, Carl, Freddie Jo, Billie Ray, Teddy and Eddy.

Gene enjoyed fishing, loved his guitars, yet his greatest love was his family.

Delilah Sue Ensminger, 73, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. &nbsp;She was born May 29, 1950, in Mooreland, OK, the daughter of Oscar Daniel and Clara Ensminger.

Sue attended high school in Oklahoma and later attended Hutchinson Community College where she received her associate degree in accounting. &nbsp;Sue enjoyed crafting and reading romance novels. &nbsp;She was the co-founder of Prairie Point Alterations in Hutchinson and she was a member of Central Kansas Sewing Guild and Altrusa International of Hutchinson, Kansas.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jimmy Ensminger and L.D. Ensminger.

She is survived by her siblings, Kenny, Ernie and Joyce; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place. &nbsp;A private memorial will be held at a later date. &nbsp;Memorial Contributions are suggested to Altrusa International of Hutchinson, Kansas and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.

Lola Mae Blew Mandeville – Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great &amp; Great Great Grandmother, Prayer Warrior, and Friend.

Lola Mae Mandeville, 90, of Hutchinson passed into the arms of her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Lola was born on August 19, 1933 to Edmund A and Ethel J (Nelson) Blew in Partridge, Kansas. Lola grew up in Sylvia and graduated from Sylvia High School and Adela Hale Business College.

Lola and Jim were married on March 1st, 1953 in Sylvia, Kansas. Lola was a faithful U.S. Navy wife while her husband served aboard the USS Charles R Ware, DD-865 during the Korean Conflict. During that time, she lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Newport, Rhode Island.

Besides being a loving and nurturing mother to her children, Lola worked during the summer months at the Credit Bureau in the Wolcott Building. After her children grew up, Lola worked several years as a Dispatcher for Reno County. She was an insurance billing clerk for the Medical Center and Dr. Young (Greene Vision). Lola loved to spend time with her family, Westside Baptist and Medora Community Bible Church family, and friends.

Lola is survived by her daughters Vicki (Thomas Sr) Trezise of Hutchinson and Roxanne Mandeville of Buhler; sons Richard (Victoria) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ronald (Leslie) of Hutchinson and Timothy of Towanda; grandchildren, Thomas Trezise, Melisa &amp; Gregory White, Shannon &amp; Dustin Spilsbury, Natalie Lopez, Christopher &amp; Mary Mandeville, Brandi Wiens, Andrew &amp; Emily Wiens, Sabrina &amp; Shawn Julian, Ethan &amp; Leah Mandeville, Nicole &amp; Tim Houser, Jesica &amp; Jake Ronning, Michelle Darnell, Allyson, Olivia, &amp; Alaina Mandeville; 40 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Beryl (Twila) Blew, sister-in-law Katherine Aps and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. The Problem: We are all sinners by nature and by choice. Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

The Predicament: We can’t get there by ourselves. Romans 4: 4-5 – “Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work, but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is account for righteousness”

The Penalty: There is a consequence for our sin. Romans 5:12 – “Therefore, just as through one man, sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because all have sinned”

The Provision: God demonstrated His love for us. Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates His own love towards us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us”

The Pardon: We receive eternal life as a free gift! Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Process: We must trust and surrender to Jesus as Lord. Romans 10: 9-10 – “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”

The Promise: We have assurance of salvation through Jesus. Romans 10:13 – “For everyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

The celebration of Lola’s life, on earth, will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Medora Community Bible Church, 8311 Medora Rd, Hutchinson, Ron Mandeville officiating. Service will be streamed on the Medora Community Bible Church You Tube Channel. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson. Cynthia Ann Ford- Larey, 74, of Hutchinson, died February 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born June 5, 1949, in Peoria, IL, to Henry James and Dorothea Mae (Powless) Ford.

Cynthia graduated from Deer Creek- Mackinaw High School in 1967, she then graduated Monticello Girls College in 1970. Cynthia worked for a couple of newspaper companies in IL, and then retired as a banker for First Bank Kansas, Hutchinson.

Cynthia loved hanging out with her friends, taking her dog out to the dog park, many different types of crafts, and shopping. She was a very generous person, so she especially loved to shop for gifts for all of her friends, not only did it bring her joy, but it brought joy to her friends receiving her gifts. Cynthia was a devoted friend, who made friends with all of her customers at the bank.

On April 10, 1972, she married Fred Larey, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They shared over 13 years of marriage, prior to his death on September 4, 1985.

Cynthia is survived by: her cousins, Mary Kay Eklund of Payson, AZ, Susan Jane Arterburn of Batavia, IL; and her dog buddy, Mr. Hugo Larey.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; aunt, Ruth Coddington; and dear precious dogs, Bennie and Kanen.
