Jack Clothier, 81, of Hutchinson, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at his home with his wife, Francine, by his side. He was born January 18, 1943, in Plevna, to Homer and Freida (Palmer) Clothier.
Jack graduated from Fairfield North High School in 1961. He was a missile site inspector for the U.S. Army from 1966-1968, stationed at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Jack was a site manager for Borton Engineers and Construction for many years.
Jack and Francine were married on December 28, 2011. She survives.
Also surviving are: his daughter, Jackie Clothier; stepchildren; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Plevna Cemetery, with military honors conducted by Fort Riley Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary.
Jack made it known that he would like those who attend his funeral to be comfortable, so attendees are encouraged to dress casually.
