Hiram M. Love, 81, died on July 2, 2020 at his home. He was born June 10, 1939, in Lafette, AL, to Sam and Annie (Hubbard) Love.

Hiram graduated from Lafette High School and attended Brunswick Community College. On December 13, 1997 he married Doris Presley in Kingsland, GA. Hiram was an Antique and Collectibles dealer. He spent most of his adult life on stage. Hiram played guitar and sang southern gospel, was a member of a gospel quartet for many years singing base. He was also president and general manager of Christian television in Brunsiwck for over 25 years and wrote and preached many gospel sermons in Alabama and Georgia. He was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.

Hiram was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Mike Larson and a sister, Sara Harper.

Survivors include his wife Doris Love; a son, Jarod Love of Reidsville, GA; two step-daughters, Nancy Nichols, of Brunswick, GA, and Pat Paige of St. Simons, GA; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. 

Friends and family may sign the book Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, July 10, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Thomas L. Regier, 53, of Buhler, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Hutchinson. He was born February 14, 1967 to Leland and Luella Jane (Holmes) Regier.

He graduated from Buhler High School with the class of 1985.

Tom was a longtime employee of Dillons Food Store in Hutchinson, working as a department manager.

Tom liked watching and rooting for his favorite teams the Kansas Jayhawks and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved communicating on Facebook with his family and friends and was always finding humorous stories or pictures to share. He lived life loving his family and his Lord.

He was a member of Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church.

Tom was survived by his brothers, Steven Regier of Fresno, CA; and James (Tracy) Regier of Overland Park; one niece and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Jane Regier; and brother, Paul.

Ernie A. Combs, 56, died July 1, 2020, at his residence. He was born January 7, 1964, in Hutchinson, to Marion Burrton and June Pauline (Massow) Combs.

On November 30, 1991, he married Julie Crew at the Church of Christ, in Nickerson. They shared over 28 years of marriage.&nbsp;

Ernie graduated from Fairfield High School. He was a ‘true-grit’ cowboy who always put his family first. Ernie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a ‘Man of God’, always willing to help, and to give of his time and attention for family, friends, and even strangers. If help was needed, you could count on Ernie to be there.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Combs of Arlington; son, Justin (Chelcee) Combs of Arlington; daughters, Kylie Combs of Abbyville, and Kaylie Combs of Arlington; granddaughter, Kendall Grace Combs (affectionately known as ‘Papa’s Pistol Princess’); sisters, Sue (W.D.) Redd and Nancy Branscom, both of Hutchinson; brother, Marion Combs of Arlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ernie was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beth Pierson.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor Jason Mason officiating. Loa Ann Gibson, 74, of Hutchinson, died June 30, 2020, at Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with gall bladder cancer. She was born August 18, 1945, in Hutchinson, to Rowland and Nadine (Norris) Redinger.

Loa Ann graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1963. She worked at Western Foods, then later at Consolidated Manufacturing, before retiring. Loa Ann attended Crosspoint Church, Hutchinson.

In 1963, she married Fred McCaskey. They were blessed with two daughters. They later divorced and Fred married Marion, who became a beloved friend to Loa Ann and stepmother to the girls.

Loa Ann loved KU basketball, going shopping with her daughter, Lora, and spending time with family, especially her ‘Journey Girl’. Her number one love was NASCAR racing. She was #10 Aric Almirola’s biggest fan and her dream came true last year when daughter, Shelly, took her to her first NASCAR race. Loa Ann always worried about others and would help them before herself.

She is survived by daughters, Shelly (Terry) Palmatier, Haven, and Lora Ryan, Hutchinson; sister, Renee Retterer, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Ryan (Elizabeth) Allan, Hutchinson, Joshua (Lindsey) Allan, Colwich, Cody (Kelsey) Beaton, Wichita, Kirsten (Beau) Peterson, McPherson, and Kenneth ‘KJ’ Ryan, Hutchinson; step grandchildren, Chase and Brooke Palmatier, Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Journey Allan, Hutchinson, Alyssa, Kaylee, and Greer Allan, Colwich, Ella and Natasha Peterson, McPherson; aunt, Faye Dunn, Wichita; and numerous cousins and special friends.

Melvin A. Yoder, 92, died July 2, 2020. He was born January 13, 1928, in Lagrange, IN, the son of Albert and Saloma (Troyer) Yoder.

Melvin was a retired farmer and carpenter. Many family and friends enjoyed and benefited from his talent in furniture making. Melvin was a member of Plainview Mennonite Church.

On August 15, 1948, he married Gertie Yoder. They shared almost 72 years of marriage. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Morris (Gloria) Yoder, Hutchinson, Marlene (Ben) Miller, Wichita, Marilyn (Bob) Swartzbeck, Fort Worth, TX, Lorena Perodin, Westminster, CO, and Doris (Randy) Yoder, Yuma, AZ; 11 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Yoder of Hutchinson; and brother, Harry Yoder of Middlebury, IN.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Denise; brothers, Thomas and Mervin; and sisters, Catherine Miller and Mae Yoder.

Dale Wayne Symonds, 60, of Hutchinson, died June 28, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born May 12, 1960, in Hutchinson, to Jimmie and Jackie (Swanson)Symonds.

Dale enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on motors, and spending time with his family and friends. He never knew a stranger.

Dale is survived by: parents, Jimmie and Jackie Symonds, Hutchinson; sister, Dorthea (Eddie) Wooten, Hutchinson; sons, Steve (Jennie) Stock and Nathaniel (Melanie) Nelzen; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Symonds and first wife, Sandra.

Delsie Clara Krenke, 85, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at her home. She was born September 9, 1934, in Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Julius W. and Anna (Thonhoff) Hoeme.

After she graduated high school, Delsie attended nursing school in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She worked in various health settings before retiring in October of 1996, after 44 years of caring and dedication to others.

Delsie was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haven.

She was united in marriage to Arnold “Arnie” E. Krenke on August 3, 1958 in Natrona, Kansas. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2009.

Delsie is survived by her son, Greg (Laurie) Krenke of Olathe; daughters, Lisa Rinehart and Nancy Krenke, both of Haven; sister, Audrey Jenisch; six grandchildren, Stacy Krenke Wurtz (Toby), Katie Krenke Thompson (Jesse), Megan Rinehart Nech (Corey), Forrest Krenke (Caitlyn), Gabrielle Rinehart, and Rachael Rinehart Campbell (Greg); and six great-grandchildren, Wesley, Kolby, Averie, Brody, Hadley and Paislee.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and eight siblings, Dorothy Letholt, Lola Daniels, Shirley Ann Hoeme, Julius Hoeme, Ewald Hoeme, Dwayne Hoeme, Forrest Dean Hoeme and Gordon Hoeme.

Clarence D. Ledbetter, 83, passed away at his home in Buhler on June 29, 2020. He was born April 20, 1937 in Stone County, Missouri, the son of Amos Riley and Emma Francis Spitler Ledbetter. He was a truck driver most of his life and had worked as a parts runner for Louie’s Service Center after retirement. He loved to restore old tractors.

He married Phyllis Solida on May 28, 1983 in Hutchinson. She died January 6, 2016. 

Survivors include a daughter Pam (Barry) Babcock, Hutchinson; a son, Charles (Cindy) Ledbetter, Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Royce Hubert (June) Ledbetter, Clever, MO; six grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Heather, Beth, Christina, and Terry; and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Delmer, Jack, and Henry Lee; a sister, Lillie Fern; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn “Little Booger”; and a grandson, Charles Ledbetter, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Inman Funeral Home. Due to Corona Virus, social distancing will be observed. The service will be live-streamed on Inman Funeral Home’s facebook page. Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda Ann Weible, 61, of Partridge, passed away at her home Monday, June 29, 2020. She was born October 13, 1958, in Hutchinson, to Carl G. and Marlys (Stowe) Dreiski.

Linda worked 15 years at Singleton-Joyce Optical Company, and thereafter worked 20 years for Stutzman’s Greenhouse. She donated her time each year in the Poultry Building at the Kansas State Fair.&nbsp;

On December 21, 1979, she married Charles D. Weible at her mother’s home in Hutchinson. They enjoyed over 40 years together.

Linda was well-known for her embroidery pieces, and many people have pillow cases finished by her. She was better known for her cookies! Linda received a blue ribbon at the Kansas State Fair in 2019 with her Snickerdoodles, on her first-time entry. For many years, she baked nut breads and cookies for the Soup Kitchen at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Linda is survived by: her husband, Charles of the home; mother and stepfather, Marlys and Jewell Bernard, Hutchinson; sister, Debra (Greg) Gardiner, Ashland; nephew, Grant Gardiner; nieces, Brittany and Sierra Gardiner; mother-in-law, Marjorie Smith; and many nieces and nephews.&nbsp;

Wade Darell Richardson, 87, of Hutchinson, died June 26, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born November 26, 1932, in Stafford, to Earl and Mildred (Fuson) Richardson.

Darell was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Adela Hale Business College. He was drafted by the Army during the Korean conflict and served two years in Germany. He was the plant manager at Winchester Packing Company for many years.

He was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church, where he faithfully helped maintain the lawn.

On September 15, 1950, he married Twyla Colleen Rentel, in Hutchinson. They shared 67 years together before her passing on January 22, 2018.

Darell is survived by sister, Earldean Hamilton, Sylvia; son, Brad (Sarah) Richardson, Lawrence; daughter-in-law, Paula Richardson, Hutchinson; foster son, David Polson (Faith), Gardner; grandchildren, Ali Atkinson (Brad), Wichita, Samuel Richardson (Stephanie), Brandon, FL, and Ross Richardson, Lawrence. Darell had five great-grand-daughters; Connor, Madeline, Parker and Mackenzie Atkinson, Harlow Richardson; and one great-grandson, Miles Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Twyla Richardson; son, Mark Richardson; and sister, Helen Berry.

Per Darell’s wishes, his body was donated to the Kansas University Medical Center. A service announcement will be made at a later date.

Mary L. Brown, 85, passed away on June 29, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born March 23, 1935, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of James S. and Myrtle L. (Griffith) Long.

Mary graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1953. On May 21, 1992 she married Robert E. Brown in Colorado Springs, CO. She worked as a floral designer for Nans Flower Shop and Don’s Custom Floral. Mary had several hobbies and interests throughout the years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and for a short time she refurbished old dolls. She was a member of the Elm Dale Community Center and the Moose Lodge.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joan Nelson and a brother, Richard Long.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; a daughter, Joyce (Ray) Sprinkle; three brothers, Dean Long, Roy (Bert) Long, Ronald (Jan) Long; one sister, Janis Smyth; one grandson, Andrew Sprinkle; a granddaughter Sarah (Geoffery) Ulrich; and two great grandchildren, Haley Sprinkle and Vincent Ulrich.

A private family visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friends and family may sign the book Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Everett E. Eslinger, 93, longtime Canton resident, died June 28, 2020 in McPherson, Kansas. He was born August 1, 1926 in rural Lincoln, Kansas, the son of Andy and Mable (Titsworth) Eslinger. He was a retired employee of NCRA/CHS Refinery, McPherson and was a WW II Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He attended the Grace Bible Church, McPherson and the Canton Senior Center and was a member of Friends of Maxwell, Canton.

In 1958 he married Helen Oneida Hobb and she preceded him in death on September 27, 1978. He later married Josephine Frantz Holdeman in 1993 and she survives.

Other survivors include stepdaughters, Glenna Coleman, Independence, Missouri and Susan (John) Gordon, Nebraska City, Nebraska; son-in-law, Chris Jungman; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Mary Jane Lauer and Bernhard and Carolyn Rundstrom. His daughter, Winona Jane Jungman, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Olson’s Mortuary, Canton. Interment will be in the Canton Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the mortuary.

Larry Allen King, of Merced, California, passed away June 24, 2020, at University of California San Francisco Medical Center in San Francisco, California from NK-T lymphoma, a rare, aggressive, and hard to diagnose form of lymphoma.

Larry was born July 3, 1938, in Tehachapi, California, to Helen (Peters) and Harold King. He spent his early years in California, with his older sister, Velma, before the family moved back to Kansas, settling in Wichita.

He graduated from Wichita East High School, attended Emporia State College, and received a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University, California.

Larry married Deanna Krey at the Zenith Church on September 8, 1961.&nbsp;

Larry and Deanna met at Emporia State in 1958. Their first home was in Rome, New York, where Larry had his first assignment as a co-pilot on a KC-135 Stratotanker at Griffiss Air Force Base.

Larry retired in 1980 as a Major. He loved flying and being in the United States Air Force. When he became an aircraft commander, he enjoyed his crews and time in the air with them. His career led him to fly different models of the KC-135 and he earned many medals before retiring after 20 years. After the Air Force, he flew ten years as a line captain with Wings West Airlines, which later became a part of&nbsp;American Eagle Airlines.

After his flying years, Larry began playing keyboard and became known in the several nursing homes in Merced, Turlock, and Oakdale, as ‘Mr Keyboard’, and his car license plate read, ‘Mr Keyboard’. He loved playing hymns, show tunes and Big Band era music that was so familiar to the residents of the nursing homes.

Larry was an active member of the local chapter of Daedalians, America’s premier fraternal organization of military aviators, advocating air and space power, and honoring those who flew and fly in defense of our nation. He was the Adjutant of his group and kept the national organization appraised of the flight activities. Several of his reports and pictures were published in their national magazine, The Daedalus Flyer.

He assumed the responsibility of giving selected students of schools in central California Daedalian awards for their accomplishments. He was also, always, a participant in the memorial services of local Daedalian members&nbsp;who passed away. He read the poem ‘High&nbsp;Flight’ at many of the services.

During career days, Larry talked with youngsters at some of the Merced schools about flying and the military; and when riding his bicycle, he often ‘supervised’ work on the railroad crossings being repaired or replaced&nbsp;in&nbsp;Merced. Larry taught CPR and once he helped save a passenger’s life by administering CPR until the rescue team arrived.

He was preceded to Heaven by his parents, and his sister, Velma. Larry is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Deanna, Merced, CA; brother, Kenneth (Judith), Abilene, KS;&nbsp;sister, Peggy King, Wichita; brothers-in-law, Max Gilbert, Eureka, MO, Rodney (Donna) Krey, Highlands Ranch, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

Sarah Elizabeth “Liz” Shank passed away on June 27, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born on March 6, 1931 at Ulysses, Kansas to Paul and Melinda (Sanders) Wood. They moved to Haven in 1967.

Liz worked at the Haven High as a cook for 21 years. She was also a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ of Haven.

She married Neil Shank in 1948 in Bison, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1986.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Bergeson, of Haysville, KS., Nanette (Kelvin) Unruh of Haven, KS. and a son, Grant (Misty) Shank of Haysville, KS.; five grandchildren, Chad (Amel) Bergeson, Wichita, KS., Dr. Kendra Unruh, Richardson, TX., Stinson Unruh, Grand Island, NE., Michael Shank and Hunter Shank, both of Haysville, KS.; and three great-grandchildren.

Liz was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Don Wood and Lloyd Wood, and one sister, Evelyn Blazek.

She was born on March 6, 1931 at Ulysses, Kansas to Paul and Melinda (Sanders) Wood. They moved to Haven in 1967.Liz worked at the Haven High as a cook for 21 years. She was also a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ of Haven.She married Neil Shank in 1948 in Bison, Kansas. Rosa Mae ‘Rose’ Schmidt Lohrentz Becker Haugsness, 90, died June 27, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born February 26, 1930, in Buhler, to Alvin and Mary (Isaak) Schmidt.

Rose graduated from Buhler High School in 1948. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed antiquing and quilting. Rose was a lifelong member of Buhler Mennonite Church.&nbsp;

In 1949, she married Quinton Lohrentz.&nbsp; He died in 1967. In 1975, Rose married Galen Becker. He died in 1993. In 1999, she married Milton Haugsness. He died in 2019.

Rose is survived by daughter, Margie Howard of Hutchinson; son, David Lohrentz of Kansas City, MO; beloved stepchildren, Cheryl Treinen of Auburn, KS, Doug Becker of Hutchinson, Kathie Wittorff&nbsp; (Larry) of Lake St. Louis, MO, Debbie (deceased) Goering (Pete) of Newton, and Brad Becker (Jane Ann) of Derby; Milton’s six children; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Lillie.&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Orlando Schmidt and Alfred Schmidt; one sister, Betty Epp; and stepdaughter, Debbie Goering.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Buhler West Municipal&nbsp; Cemetery, with Pastor Willmar T. Harder officiating. The casket will remain closed. Carolina J. ‘Carol’ Martinez, 89, of Hutchinson, died June 25, 2020, at Hospice House. She was born June 16, 1931, in Newton, to Ignacio and Maria (DeNeri) Martinez.

Carol graduated from Newton High School in 1951. She worked for Wal-Mart as a department manager for 24 years. Carol belonged to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Spanish Choir and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

On September 8, 1956, she married Raymond Martinez, in Newton. They shared 34 years together before he passed on June 22, 1990.

Carol is survived by sons, Hector Martinez (Cindy), Mesa, AZ, Rafael Martinez (Ellen Dugan); daughters, Mary Harper (Tim) and Kathleen Vieyra (Michael), all of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Tiffany Miller-Baker (Chris), Brett Vieyra, Quinn Martinez, Jordan Weninger (Tim), Casey Harper; great-grandchildren, Preston Miller-Baker, Caleb Weninger, Adelayde Martinez; sisters, Dolores Rioz and Amelia Martinez; brothers, Alberto and Benito Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Martinez; and siblings, Manuel, Antonia, Rosa, Ignacio, Miguel, Maria, Fernando, Juan, Armando, Ricardo, and Berta.

Dennis was a truck driver and mechanic for NAPA, Mt. Hope. He loved working on old Peterbilt truck tractors, and hunting deer and rabbits.

Dennis is survived by his children, Briana Woodworth, Krista Woodworth, and Dakota Woodworth; parents, Dennis and Juanita Woodworth, Sr.; half sisters, Sabrina Dickerson and Julena Bosker; girlfriend, Mary McElwain; and Angela, the mother of Briana, Krista, and Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Karen graduated from Cowley County Community College and received her Registered Nursing degree from Southwestern College, Winfield.

Jeni graduated from Buhler High School in 1995. She absolutely loved children and was a ‘mother to many’, providing child care in her home since 1997. Jeni was a member of Church of the Holy Cross.

On November 7, 1996, she married Rex Albright in Hutchinson. He survives.

Also surviving are children, Kaleb, of Wichita, Kennedi and Kade of the home; parents, Scott and Debra Brown, Hutchinson; sisters, Kristine Brown (Steven), Kansas City, MO, Alisa Wyer (Kim), Hutchinson; grandfather, Robert Brown (Mary), Hutchinson; mother-in-law, Linda Albright, Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Cherry Trotter (fiancé, Dru Bishop), Grand Prairie, TX; and four nephews.

Jeni was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Wally and Darlene Schnepf; paternal grandmother, Francine Brown; and father-in-law, Allen Albright.

James “Jimmy” Ray Simmons, 68, went to race with the Lord on June 24, 2020, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born November 20, 1951, in Hutchinson, the son of Carl A. and Margret L. (Thompson) Simmons.

On March 24, 1970 Jimmy enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on April 5, 1974. Jimmy was on the USS Nathan Hale and served in the Vietnam War. On February 16, 1980, he married Pam Kever. They divorced in 1996. On October 5, 2002, he married Edna Dudley. She died on January 26, 2017. Jimmy was self-employed and owned Demint-Simmons home appliance repair. Jimmy enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He also built and drove dirt track race cars for many years. 

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Simmons; two sisters, Joyce Carter and Shirley Honeycutt; one brother, David Simmons and a granddaughter, Alexia Marrie Crabbs.

Survivors include his daughter, Kim Crabbs (Zach); one brother, Terry Simmons (Terrie); two grandsons, Caleb and Eli Crabbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS with Howard Nelson officiating. Carole Dyer, 82, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home. She was born February 3, 1938, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Robert H. and Edna Ruth (Kennedy) Astle.

She was united in marriage to Tony Dyer. They later divorced.

Carole was a devoted homemaker. She had worked for the Reno County Courthouse and various banks.

Carole is survived by her sons, Kelly (Lynette) Dyer and Mike (Karen) Dyer, both of Hutchinson; daughter, Linda (Art Allen) Dyer of Haven; five grandchildren, Randi, Jordan, Adryan, Bryce and Danielle; two great-granddaughters, Kaylynn and Rayna; brother, Michael (Sharon) Astle of Sun City, Arizona; and her dog, Dermott.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She had worked for the Reno County Courthouse and various banks.Carole is survived by her sons, Kelly (Lynette) Dyer and Mike (Karen) Dyer, both of Hutchinson; daughter, Linda (Art Allen) Dyer of Haven; five grandchildren, Randi, Jordan, Adryan, Bryce and Danielle; two great-granddaughters, Kaylynn and Rayna; brother, Michael (Sharon) Astle of Sun City, Arizona; and her dog, Dermott.She was preceded in death by her parents.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Laurel Cemetery, Haven, Kansas. Jack Stockton ‘Rock’ Rothwell Jr., 97, passed away on June 22, 2020.&nbsp; Jack was born in St. Louis, MO, October 18, 1922.

&nbsp;He graduated from high school at Christian Brothers College, St. Louis, MO, in 1941, and the University of Missouri in 1948. Jack was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

He was active in the Army Air Corps during WWII, stationed in England. Jack served as co-pilot on a B-17 bomber, flying 25 missions during WWII. He was proudly awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism during the war.

Jack moved to Hutchinson in 1949, to start his family. He loved golf and enjoyed playing with his friends and family every week at his beloved Prairie Dunes.

&nbsp;Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Ruth Mary Rothwell and his parents, Jack and Marie Rothwell.

He is survived by daughter, Sylvia (Jeff Cain) Lyon of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Joe (Devon) Rothwell of Wichita, Jake (Susan) Rothwell of Bossier, LA; seven grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.
