Mary H. Graham, 88, died on October 19, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS. She was born July 6, 1932 in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Cresencio and Bernabe Palacio Hernandez.

Mary graduated from Hutchinson High School, graduating in 1951. She attended Sterling College and Hutchinson Community College. On May 28, 1972 she married Doroteo (Don) E. Graham in Hutchinson. Mary worked for the State of Kansas as a Social Worker and retired after 38 years. She enjoyed reading and volunteer work. She volunteered at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and was a member of the Red Hat Society, Civic Center Club of Women, Our Lady of Guadalupe Women’s Society, and Hutchinson Business and Women’s Professionals. She attended and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Matt P. Hernandez and a sister, Bonificia Hernandez.

Mary is survived by her husband, Don; step-daughter, Gail Richard of Little Rock, AR; step-son, Bruce Graham of Wichita, KS; niece, Bonnie M. Hernandez of Hutchinson, KS; nephew, Mark A. Hernandez of Wichita, KS; one grandchild and one great grandchild. A special Thank You to Jim and Santos Martinez family for taking me in and accepting me as one of their own. Thank you to my “Martinez Siblings” Ruby (Pete) Curiel of Hutchinson, KS., Ed Martinez of Wichita, KS., Julian (Beka) Martinez of Alexandrea VA., Connie (Chris) Ybarra, of Hutchinson, KS., Ernie Martinez of Inman, KS., Cynthia Martinez of Wichita, KS., Stella Bribresca and David Martinez who are also preceding Mary in death.

Rosary will be 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, KS. with Father Charles Seiwert officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family greeting guests from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Memorial may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
