Marguerite Marie Wiederstein, 89, died March 1, 2020 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston.&nbsp; She was born March 4, 1930 in Port Arthur, TX., the daughter of Isaac and Blanche (Sweeny) Tharp.&nbsp; She was a graduate of Scott City High School, Scott City, KS.&nbsp; A homemaker most of her life, she was a member of Garden Community Church, a member of Emma Creek Quilt Guild and Villa Partners.&nbsp;

Marguerite married Robert Wiederstein on May 3, 1950 in Scott City, Kansas.&nbsp; He passed away July 5, 2010.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn (Merle) Christner, Stephens City, VA., Debra (Mike) Fry, Durango, CO., and Phyllis (Evan) Wilson, Wichita, KS.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Paul Tharp, IJ Tharp, Lawrence Tharp; and two grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Garden Community Church, rural Hesston.&nbsp; Family graveside service will be held one hour prior to service time at Garden Community Church Cemetery.&nbsp; Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston.

Tamara K. Shriver, 40, of Salina, formerly of Buhler, passed away February 29,2020 at her home in Salina, KS. She was born September 16, 1979 inHutchinson, KS, the daughter of Jody R. and Vanetta A. “Van” (Griess) Heitkotter.

Tammy graduated from Buhler High School with the class of 1998 and graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 2000 with an Associate of Arts degree inAccounting. She was a Grain Accountant for MKC Team Marketing Alliance for 12 years. Tammy was member of Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church and a longtime resident of Buhler, also living in Hutchinson, Inman and Salina.

Tammy married Chad Shriver, October 20, 2018 at Buhler, KS. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include son, Dominic K. (Erika) Martinez of Wichita; daughters,Alexis C. Martinez, Marcela A. .Jim graduated from Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College.&nbsp; He served in the United States Army in Vietnam.&nbsp; Jim sold cars and worked at Cessna Hydraulics before a motorcycle accident left him disabled.

Jim enjoyed doing artwork and riding his bike to Elmdale Community Center to play pool.&nbsp; He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Jim is survived by: son, Brad Fowler (Amberle, McPherson; brother, Gary Fowler (Jeanene, Wheaton, IL; nephews, Matt, Steve, Garrett, and Jeff Fowler; nieces, Whitney Fowler and Kristy Allen.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Bob Fowler; nephew, Kevin Fowler; and niece, Jill Fowler.

Donald J. Caviness, some knew him as Donnie Grandon, 77, of Hutchinson, died February 29, 2020, at his home.&nbsp; He was born June 7, 1942, in Larned, to J.L. and Myrtle Irene (Roberts) Caviness.

Donald attended Sherman Junior High and Hutchinson High School and served in the United States Army from 1967-1969. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 12157 in South Hutchinson. &nbsp;He was a chef and owned Don’s Café in Hutchinson and Don’s Place in Burrton.&nbsp; In addition, Donald cooked for the Hutchinson Correctional Facility and Zaki’s.

Donald enjoyed attending flea markets and art shows.&nbsp; He also enjoyed painting and showing his beautiful paintings.

On May 9, 1992, he married Jolene Marie Stafford in Hutchinson.&nbsp;

Donald is survived by:&nbsp; his wife of 27 years, Jolene; daughter, Kimberly Baker; stepson, Keith Wingert; stepdaughters, Kim Pelkey (Preston, and Kristy Guy (Kenny, all of Hutchinson; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Linda Nielsen, 72, died February 29, 2020, at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.&nbsp; She was born December 18, 1947, in Gideon, MO, to Jack and Freda (Hall) Chapman.

Linda graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1965.&nbsp; She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden planting flowers.&nbsp; Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and enjoyed a special bond with her granddaughter, Teigan.

On June 18, 1969, she married Robert Nielsen in Hutchinson.&nbsp;

Linda is survived by:&nbsp; her husband of almost 51 years, Robert; daughter, Kara Nielsen; granddaughter, Teigan Nielsen; and sister, Lois Voth, all of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Eldon Voth.

Jeannette ‘Janet’ Carol Fail passed away peacefully on February 28, 2020, at Sterling Village, Sterling, KS, from natural causes, at the age of 97.&nbsp; She was born July 23, 1922, in Cloud County, KS, to Homer and Bertha (Detrixhe) LeClair.

Janet was a 1936 graduate of Concordia High School and Salt City Business College, Hutchinson.&nbsp; She worked for Olive Beech at Boeing before she married Ronald Fail in Wichita, KS, on April 25, 1942.&nbsp; They shared over 34 years of marriage prior to his death in 1976.&nbsp; Janet was a secretary at Lyons High School for 29 years.&nbsp; After her retirement, she moved to Hutchinson, KS, where she enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and working in her flower garden.

Janet is survived by: daughters, Sherry (Neil) Zimmerman of Houston, TX, and Dianne (Don) Davis of Panorama Village, TX; sisters, Betty Griffen and Mary (Don) Fenton; brother, Jerry (Shirley) LeClair; sisters-in-law, Judy LeClair and Pat (Fred) Barta; grandchildren, Chris (Anne) Schreck, Evan Zimmerman, Randy (Ashley) Zimmerman, and Jennifer Davis; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Logan, and Megan Schreck.

LaRee E. “Ree” Reifschneider, 73, La Crosse, Kansas, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

Ree was born January 28, 1947, in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Wayne and Evelyn (Partridge) Schultz. She was a lifelong resident of Rush County, Kansas. A 1965 graduate of Bison Rural High School, Bison, Kansas, she was an Accounts Payable Clerk for Mid State Farmers Coop, Rush Center, Kansas.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, La Crosse, Kansas. 

Yard work and gardening were Ree’s favorite passion.

On July 12, 1969, she married Bob Reifschneider at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, La Crosse, Kansas.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Reifschneider, La Crosse, Kansas; three sons, Kevin Reifschneider (Melanie Boucher, Wichita, Kansas, Mark Reifschneider (Jill Folkerts, McPherson, Kansas, and David Reifschneider (Johnny Feliciano, Reno, Nevada; three grandchildren, Katlyn Reifschneider, Scottsdale, Arizona, Jack Reifschneider, Topeka, Kansas, and Bo Reifschneider, Wichita, Kansas; her mother, Evelyn Cosby, La Crosse, Kansas; and one brother, Brian Schultz, Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, Newman Cosby; and two brothers, Randy Schultz, and Galen Schultz.

Dean Edward Bastion, 74, of Hutchinson, died February 25, 2020, at his home.&nbsp; He was born September 8, 1945, in Oakland, CA, to Lawrence Edward and Maxine Lola (Jones) Bastion.

He married Terress Jackson in 1992.&nbsp; Dean served in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a police officer.

He is survived by:&nbsp; wife, Terress Bastion; daughters, Annette Allen and Natalie Bastion; granddaughters, Kaley Givens and Ashley Allen; great-grandchildren, Denim and Dakota Givens; honorary daughter, Alyssa Casanova (Jamaal Norris); honorary grandchildren, Braelyn and Nikko Casanova, and Hendrix Norris; stepdaughters, Cheri and Mechelle McGrew; step-grandchildren, Ryan Howe, Presley LaBleu, and Sean Quin; and sister-in-law, Billie Bastion.

Dean was preceded in death by:&nbsp; his parents and brother, Gary Bastion.

Cremation has taken place.&nbsp; No services are planned.&nbsp; Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, is in charge of arrangements.

Gary D. Regehr, 81, passed away February 27, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1939 in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Elmer and Dorothy (Ratzlaff) Regehr.

Gary graduated from Inman High School with the class of 1957 and graduated from Emporia State University in 1961 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Arts and Education. Before obtaining a master’s degree in Industrial Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Gary owned and operated a custom wheat harvest business. He was an Industrial Arts teacher in Hill City, Salina and Osawatomie, an office manager at Kansas Job Service in McPherson and Newton, and a life-long farmer. Gary was a life-long member of Bethel Mennonite Church, president of ULAR Watershed, served on the State Board of Kansas Watersheds, and served as a board member at Pleasant View Home and Inman Museum.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Gary married Joan Thiessen, June 1, 1969 at Inman, KS. She passed away May 17, 1982. &nbsp;He then married Sharon E. (Martens) Ediger, August 3, 1985 at Buhler, KS. She survives. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Other survivors include a son, Doug (Tabatha) Regehr&nbsp; of Tonganoxie, KS; daughters, Terri Ediger (Steve Weber, Jodi (Mike) Danler all of Hutchinson and Leigh Chunn of Inman; a brother, Elmer Dean (Lois Ann) Regehr of Inman; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Joan.

Burial will be 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at North Inman Cemetery. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Bethel Mennonite Church. William R. ‘Bill’ Ford, 55, died February 24, 2020, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.&nbsp; He was born September 23, 1964, in Santa Barbara, CA, the youngest son of Leo Arthur and Dorothy O. (Reeves) Ford.

Bill graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1983. He worked at Concrete Plus for almost 12 years. Bill enjoyed watching his favorite teams: the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and KU Jayhawks.&nbsp; In addition, he could be found watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. and John Wayne movies. &nbsp;Most of all, Bill loved his family, especially spending time with his two sons.&nbsp; They enjoyed fishing together, and were planning an upcoming fishing trip. &nbsp;

&nbsp;Bill is survived by:&nbsp; sons, Garrett Ford (fiancé Bridget, and Jared Ford, all of Archie, MO; siblings, Linda Russell, Judy Scott, Mike Ford; five nieces; four nephews; Garrett and Jared’s mother, Becky Ford; and his beloved dog, Cocoa.

Roger L. Tomlin, 74, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Good Samaritan in Hutchinson, KS. Roger was born March 14, 1945 to Charley and Mabel (Lillie) Tomlin in Hutchinson.

Roger graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1963 then joined the Navy. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Roger married Patricia St. Louis. They later divorced. Roger moved to Manitou Springs, CO and worked at the United States Air Force Academy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tommy, Charles, Bill and Donnie; sisters, Imogene Scott, Phyllis Bianciella, JoAnn Lewis; two nieces and two nephews.

Roger is survived by his son, Chad Tomlin of Kansas City, MO; brother, Amos Tomlin; sister, Shirley Swan both of Hutchinson, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Jeanne L. Shanline, 91, died February 23, 2020.&nbsp; She was born April 22, 1928, in Kansas City, MO, to James and Elsie M. (Hudson) Laswell.&nbsp;

Jeanne graduated from Turon High School and attended Grace Hospital School of Nursing.&nbsp; She was a homemaker, &nbsp;a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the DUO Sunday School class.

On August 24, 1947, she married Phillip Shanline in Turon.&nbsp; He died November 21, 2015, after sharing 68 years of marriage.

Jeanne is survived by:&nbsp; daughters, Elaine Proffitt of Wirtz, VA, Marcia Johnson (Mike) of Hutchinson, Nancy Morris (George) of Milwaukee, WI; son, Scott Shanline (Veronica) of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Don Proffitt, Jr., Jennifer Bowden, John Penny, Angie Ediger, Spencer Morris, and Gillian Drummond; and great-grandchildren, Sara Thompson, Andrew, Samantha, Matthew, and Hanna Bowden, Mackenzie and Carson Penny, and Colton and Avery Ediger.

Elaine Koehn, 87, died Friday, February 21, 2020 at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge, KS. She was born February 25, 1932, in Littlefield, Texas, the daughter of Peter and Katherina (Toews) Isaac. She was a long time Hesston area resident.

Elaine was united in marriage to Floyd Koehn on June 20, 1954 in Inman, KS. He died on July 11, 2017.

She was a member of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Hesston, KS.

Elaine worked as a nurse’s aide at Mercy Hospital and a medical aide at Schowalter Villa. She was also a devoted homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, Steve (Gwen) Koehn, Barron, WI., Phil (Donna) Koehn, Moundridge, KS.; daughters, Bonita (Kelvin) Koehn, DeRidder, LA., Linda Koehn, Hesston, KS.; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; twin brothers, John and Nick Isaac, brother, Alfred Isaac; and sister, Alma Lee Collins.

Vivian was a graduate of Humboldt High School, Humboldt, NE.&nbsp; She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, and member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

On February 12, 1950, she married Lester G. Beeghly in Sabetha.&nbsp; They shared over 39 years of marriage prior to his death on March 31, 1989.

Vivian is survived by:&nbsp; sons, Lynn Beeghly of Hutchinson, Larry Beeghly of Sedgwick, Neal Beeghly of Wichita, and Gregory Beeghly of Springfield, MO; daughter, Debbie Beeghly of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn, Marguerite, and Sue.

She was preceded in death by:&nbsp; her parents; husband, Lester G. Beeghly; sons, Robert and Kent; daughter, Jan; and brothers, Lee and Max.

Alfred ‘Al’ Joseph Werth, 88, of Hutchinson, died February 16, 2020, at Pleasant Hills, Hutchinson. He was born December 13, 1931, in Ness City, to Theodore and Adelaide (Leiker) Werth.

Alfred was a 1949 graduate of Ness City High School and served in the United States Air Force for four years. He retired from Dillon Companies Inc. and was a member of Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson. On November 25, 1952, Alfred married Cleo Alice Stoecklein at Sacred Heart Church in Ness City. They shared over 61 years of marriage prior to her death on August 30, 2014.

He is survived by: children, David (Denise) Werth of Salina, Marie (Greg) Dick of Hutchinson, Alan (Susan) Werth of Cincinnati, OH, and Paula Mayes of Hutchinson; brother, Orville ‘Bud’ Werth; grandchildren, Michele (Chris) Lambert, Cheryl Werth, Adam Dick, Jordan (Cadey) Dick, Garrett (Gabby) Werth, Tyler Werth, and Michael (Heidi) Mayes; and ten great-grandchildren.

Alfred was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Cleo A. Werth; daughter, Denise Marie Werth; grandsons, John Matthew Dick and Blake Werth; sisters, Betty Weigel and Ruby Augustine; and brother, Art Werth.

Douglas K. Stutzman, 80, of Hesston, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Schowalter Villa.&nbsp; He was born June 26, 1939 in Newton, Kansas, the son of Clifford and Lillian (Wenger) Stutzman.&nbsp;

Doug lived in Peabody when he was younger moving to Hesston in the mid 1950's. He graduated from Hesston Academy in 1957. He farmed until 1962 in Peabody, KS. Doug then worked at Excel Industries in Hesston two different times during his career (1963-1971, 1987-2004).&nbsp; He held various positions from engineering assistant, shop superintendent and sales/service manager, retiring in 2004. He served on the Excel Board from 1963-2012 &nbsp;He worked at GT Sales &amp; Manufacturing from 1972-1987.&nbsp; Doug attended Catlin Mennonite Church in Peabody as a child, and was a long time member of the Hesston Mennonite Church.

Douglas was united in marriage to Barbara Kathryn Vogt on September 27, 1957 at Halstead, KS.&nbsp; She preceded him in death in 2004. He later married Phyllis May King Kauffman on April 15, 2006. She preceded him in death in 2018.&nbsp;

Douglas is also preceded in death by his parents.&nbsp;

He is survived by sons, David (Sharon) Stutzman of Hesston, Steven (Anita Miller) Stutzman of Denver, CO; a daughter, Kathryn (Steven) Ropp of Iowa City, IA; brothers, Don (Elnor) Stutzman of Hesston and Duane Stutzman of Olathe, KS; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; step-sons, David (Lynda) Kauffman and Douglas Kauffman all of Hesston and two step-granddaughters.

He was a member of Lone Tree Church in Galva.

He was united in marriage to Twila Schmidt on April 28, 1957 in Fairview, Oklahoma.&nbsp; She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his sons, Kendall (Charlene) Becker of Galva, and Delane (Althea) Becker of Canton; daughters, Janet (David) Kurtz of Pipestone, Minnesota, and Kayleen (Kevin) Unruh of Galva; siblings, Viola Unruh of Moundridge, Vernon D. (Elfrieda) Becker of Moundridge, Twila (Cleo) Jantz of Winton, California, and Lovella Koehn of Transylvania, Louisiana; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Joann (Curtis) Unruh of Canton, and Agnes Becker of Scio, Oregon.

Betty Jo Hunt, 87, passed away on February 16, 2020, at Wesley Towers, Hutchinson. The oldest daughter of Emily (Griffee) and Ralston Taylor, she was born on December 18, 1932, in Sterling.

She was raised on a farm outside of Lyons and graduated from Lyons High School. In 1954, Betty married Don Hunt and the couple moved to Hutchinson in 1958. She worked at Hutchinson Community College for seventeen years.

Betty and Don raised three children, Terry, Sue, and Debbie. Many of their family memories revolve around Betty’s love of all holidays, as well as her enthusiasm for diving into new projects. Never an idle moment, Betty’s life was filled with baking, pickling, making jams and jellies, knitting, macramé, tennis, bridge, and endless crafts with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that followed. From childhood on, she always had a book nearby, and her love of reading was passed on to the generations that followed.

Betty’s hospitality led to lifelong friendships with neighbors, co-workers, bridge groups, and the Birthday Club. Her attachment to Nederland, Colorado, rooted in childhood visits to the family cabin there, led to eighteen glorious years of retirement life in Nederland. Hikes and wildflowers were a part of every visit to their mountain home. In 2008, Betty and Don returned to Hutchinson, where they finished out their years with family and friends.

She is survived by: son, Terry Hunt (Renee, Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughters, Sue Carlton (Glenn) and Debbie Hunt (Bob Badgett, both of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Milam; and four nieces.

Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Don Hunt; sister, Peggy Taylor; and brother, Jerry Taylor.

Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2020, at Wesley Towers Evan’s Chapel, 700 Monterey Place, Hutchinson. A private family burial will take place prior to the service. Emery D. ‘Bud’ Kittle, 83, of Sterling, died Sunday, February 16, 2020.&nbsp; He was born April 24, 1936, in Hutchinson, to Emery Rueben and Florence Elizabeth (Cook) Kittle.&nbsp;

Bud graduated from Reno County High School in 1954 and Hutchinson Community College in 1961.&nbsp; He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.&nbsp; He attended Sterling Evangelical Bible Church where God strengthened his faith.&nbsp;

Bud will be lovingly remembered by family and friends as a man who loved God, a devoted husband, father and grandfather who always enjoyed watching his grandkids activities and spending time with family and friends.&nbsp; He lived by a simple code; tell the truth, work hard, and help others whenever you can.

Bud was an accountant in Scottsbluff, NE, where he met his wife, Kathy.&nbsp; On July 10, 1965, he married Katherine Mae ‘Kathy’ Adams in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where they lived for 16 years.&nbsp; In 1981, Bud and Kathy returned to the family farm where Bud was born in Nickerson.&nbsp; He enjoyed farming the remainder of his life.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Bud is survived by:&nbsp; his wife of 54 years, Kathy of Nickerson; children, Tamara Chesney (Jason) of Nickerson, Emery ‘Buddy’ Dean Kittle, Jr. (Jena) of Olathe; grandchildren, Alan Roberts, Madelyn and Claire Chesney, Jackson, Elias, Allison, and Emma Kittle; daughter from Bud’s previous marriage to Judy Kolb, Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Kittle-Martinez (Buddy Taylor) of McLouth, KS; grandchildren, Jessica Kittle (Brad Ayres, Christopher Kittle; great-grandchildren, Savanah, Nathan, Kylie, Lily, and Isaac; great-great-grandchildren, Cooper and Marshall; sister, Blanche Pearce of Wichita; aunt, Lola Rumford of Abbyville; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Alvin Yuell ‘Al’ Buck, 81, of Hutchinson, died February 14, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.&nbsp; He was born May 23, 1938, in Hutchinson, the son of Albert and Oleta (Hamblin) Buck.

Al graduated from Partridge High School and Emporia State University. He served in the Air National Guard.&nbsp; Al was former owner of AB Roofing and worked for Sears and at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.&nbsp; He also officiated high school and college football and basketball games for 17 years.&nbsp; Al was a member of First Christian Church, Hutchinson.

On March 6, 2018, he married Juleta Tennant in Hutchinson. She survives.

Also surviving are: sons, David Buck (Jami, Wichita, Doug Buck, Hutchinson; granddaughters, Katelyn Williams (Zach, Olathe, Kristin Buck (Luis Miguel, Wichita; brother, Charlie Buck (Cheryl, South Hutchinson; sisters, Luleta Wills, South Hutchinson, Lorraine Warnken (Dave, Hutchinson, Connie Wise (Kenneth, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ray Vernon Brian, of Hutchinson, passed away February 13, 2020, at his home. He was born August 1, 1931, in Oakley, Kansas, to Roy and Thela Brian.

Ray was a graduate of Fort Hays State University, where he majored in business and played football for the Fort Hays Tigers. Prior to college he served in the United States Navy, where he was on the Navy football team and served as an aviation electrician on the USS Oriskany.

Ray married Phyllis Watkins of Sublette, Kansas, on June 1, 1957.

Ray worked for the Social Security Administration in Dodge City before moving to Hutchinson, where he worked as a field representative, and then assistant manager of the Hutchinson office. Ray was a Freemason, Shriner, member of the Hutchinson Civitan Club, and the United States Golf Association, where he served as a rules official in tournaments. He was an avid golfer and member of Prairie Dunes Country Club for over 40 years.

Ray is survived by: his wife, Phyllis; their children Mitch Brian, Tronda Roselius and Kristi Brian; seven grandchildren, Sam and Zoe Brian, Riley, Erin, and Ely Roselius, Nina and Iris Brian-Smith; sisters, Dora Hopson, Dona Plantz, Mary Torbet; and brothers, Gene Brian and Bob Brian.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Phil Brian; and sister, Sharon Brian.

Cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020, at Elliott Chapel. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the PGA Reach Program to positively impact the lives of youth, military and diverse populations through the game of golf, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

He was born August 1, 1931, in Oakley, Kansas, to Roy and Thela Brian.Ray was a graduate of Fort Hays State University, where he majored in business and played football for the Fort Hays Tigers. Prior to college he served in the United States Navy, where he was on the Navy football team and served as an aviation electrician on the USS Oriskany.Ray married Phyllis Watkins of Sublette, Kansas, on June 1, 1957.Ray worked for the Social Security Administration in Dodge City before moving to Hutchinson, where he worked as a field representative, and then assistant manager of the Hutchinson office. Thomas Wesley Klassen, 78, of Hutchinson, died February 13, 2020, at his home.&nbsp; He was born March 24, 1941, in Abilene, to Peter and Frances (Gadberry) Klassen.

On May 19, 1962, he married Teresa Savage in Lyons.&nbsp; They shared over 57 years of marriage prior to his death.

Thomas is survived by:&nbsp; his wife, Teresa Klassen; daughters, Faith Johnson, Kandy (Dave) McCutcheon, Shari Klassen, and Kelly Thomas; grandchildren, Brach Klassen, Brooklyn Klassen, Blake Klassen, Austin Setter, Trey Setter, Christopher Bruch, Sean Johnson, and Bret Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents.

D. Earlene Miller, 95, passed away February 11, 2020 at Hospice House in Hutchinson.

Earlene was born September 28, 1924 in Arkansas City, KS, the daughter of Earl and Gusty (Mitchell) Dickerson.

She graduated in 1942 from Arkansas City High School in Arkansas City, KS. She worked in accounting for Barton Salt and Dillons Corporate. She met David E. Miller in Arkansas City and was married January 1, 1949, to this union they were blessed with two children, Jackie and Reid.

Earlene had many past time hobbies and interests. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing cards, dancing and listening to music. She enjoyed going on cruises and watching sports, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David; a brother, Weldon Dickerson and a granddaughter Sherri Lynn Stanford.

Earlene is survived by her daughter, Jackie Lynn Mann; a son, Reid and wife Karen Miller; grandchildren, Kara and husband Paul Kuder, Mark and wife Staci Mann, Stephanie and husband Rob Hyden, Jessica and husband Jonathan Guinn, Paula Miller, David Miller and Fiancée Ashley, and Andy and wife Asama Curtis; great grandchildren, Noah Kuder, Hannah Kuder, Adam Curtis, Ayden Curtis, Ian Guinn, and Sopie Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Alex.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. Robert P. “Bob” Gehring, 76, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his home.&nbsp; He was born January 7, 1944 in Halstead, Kansas, the son of Peter J.C. and Anna (Stucky) Gehring.

Bob worked for Moridge Manufacturing in Moundridge for over 35 years.

He was a member of West Zion Mennonite Church in Moundridge.

Bob was united in marriage to Sharon Nafziger on January 4, 1974 at Moundridge.&nbsp; She survives of the home.
