Cassandra Dawn “Cassie” Nightingale, 42, of Galva, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her home. She was born May 28, 1978 in Moundridge, the daughter of Delmar and Twila (Ratzlaff) Nightingale.

She was a member of Lone Tree Mennonite Church in Galva.

Cassie attended Hutchinson Community College, where she obtained her nursing degree.

She was a registered nurse at Moundridge Manor. Cassie previously worked at Newton Medical Center in Newton and Partners in Family Care Clinic in Moundridge.

She is survived by her parents, Delmar and Twila Nightingale; brothers, Rick (Jenny) Nightingale and Lee (Gina) Nightingale, all of Galva; sister, Andrea (Darcy) Koehn of Okolona, Mississippi; six nephews and one niece.

Cassie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alfred and Susie (Schmidt) Ratzlaff; and paternal grandparents, Minister Herman and Delilah (Koehn) Nightingale.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church, Galva. Burial will take place following the service in the church cemetery. Mavis Gene Logbeck, 93, passed away on June 16, 2020, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. She was born July 31, 1926, in Lyons, KS, the daughter of Walter and Katie (Cassell) Hurtt.

Mavis graduated from Lyons High School in 1944. She married Floyd Wagner on February 2, 1946. He passed away on July 23, 1971. Later she married Wayne Logbeck on March 8, 1991 in Hutchinson. He passed away on May 31, 2016.

Mavis worked for Lyons State Bank, Wagner Trucking and Hutchinson Floral as a book keeper.

Mavis is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Floyd Wagner and Wayne Logbeck; a brother, Walter K. Hurtt; a son, Kit Wagner and a grandson, Matt Malmstrom.

Survivors include her son, Todd (Donna) Wagner of Henderson, NV, two daughters, Kim (John) Knight and Kathy (Gary) Lohrey both of Hutchinson; step daughter, Nanette (Raymond) St. Marie of Colorado; nine grandchildren, Katrina Burns, Jennifer Dixon, Todd Wagner II, Robert Wagner, John Knight Jr., Amy Liedl, Timothy Ladd, Raymond St. Marie and Tiffany St. Marie; 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Eugene Samples, 92, of Hutchinson, died June 14, 2020, at his home. He was born August 13, 1927, in Weaubleau, Missouri, to Walter and Ruth (Lindsey) Samples.

Eugene graduated from Plattsburg High in Missouri, in 1945, and Chillicothe Business College in 1947. He served in the United States Navy during the Second World War. Eugene worked for Wyeth Hardware and Manufacturing Company in Missouri, selling wholesale hardware. He was a member of Junction City Union Masonic Lodge #7 A.F. &amp; A.M. and Stafford American Legion Post #290. Eugene was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Hutchinson.

On June 3, 1951, he married Connie Stitt, in Herington. They shared 69 years of marriage together.

Eugene is survived by wife, Connie Samples, Hutchinson; son, James (Paula) Samples, Wichita; daughter, Jo Dee Samples, Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Samples, St. John; sister, Martha Outler, Metairie, Louisiana; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Davis Samples; and great-granddaughter, Raven Samples.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Larry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Jeanette I. Hattesohl, 76, of Hutchinson, peacefully went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family.&nbsp;

Jeanette was born October 30, 1943, in Greenleaf, to Melvin and Avis (Lillibridge) Bohm. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1961, and earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Cloud County Community College in 1997. She married the love of her life, Richard Hattesohl, on October 15, 1961, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Greenleaf. Together they raised five children.

Jeanette was often putting others’ needs ahead of her own, ensuring that every child, grandchild, and great-grandchild was made to feel special, loved, and important. Family meant everything to her, always keeping them in touch with each other, even as the miles began to separate them.&nbsp; She instilled the value of family unity. Jeanette taught that giving was always better than receiving. She recited Psalm 118:24 daily, “This is the Day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Every day was special in her eyes, because the Lord made it, and she made sure that her family knew it, as well.

Jeanette had physical ailments that wore on her over the years, but, she never complained, and never felt sorry for herself. She faced the diseases with character, dignity, and grace. Jeanette trusted in the Lord to always carry her through and relied on His will and knew that it was in His hands.

She was a lady that wore many hats over the years. Jeanette enjoyed helping in the church, including playing the piano and organ, teaching, and directing the children’s Christmas services. She loved to sew, cook large meals for her family, and bake wonderful Christmas goodies.&nbsp; Jeanette volunteered to help with her children’s many activities, such as 4-H, and served as a Den Leader for her sons’ Cub Scout Pack. She was a paraprofessional, an EMT, Radiology Technician, CNA, and finally retired as a Registered Nurse in 2013.

She is survived by sons, Richard T. (fiancée, Edie Miller) of Trenton, MO, Joseph (Hope) of Aliso Viejo, CA, Randall (Sandra) of Wichita, and Michael (Traci) of Washington, KS; daughter, Jennifer (Brandon) Villarreal of Hutchinson; 22 grandchildren, Jesse (Lacey, Justin (Giselle, Chad, Courtney, Paige, Josh, Emma, Ashley Rust (Steven, Linsey Knipp (Alan, Brandon, Cody, Tiffany Garcia (Trevin, Andrew Villarreal (Makenzie, Nathan Villarreal, Ricky Villarreal, and Alex Villarreal; and 10 great-grandchildren, Haylee, Hayden, Finley, Weylin, Roselynn, Rylen, Amelia Rust, Adalynn Knipp, Kinsley Knipp, and Elise.&nbsp;

Willis H. Hassman, 95, passed away on June 12, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born August 21, 1924, in Groveland, KS., the son of Henry and Mabel (Ball) Hassman.

On August 20, 1955, Willis married Renee Goertz in Perryton, TX. There will be no public visitation as cremation was chosen.

Kathleen Ann Bynum, 69, passed away on June 10, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. She was born January 27, 1951, in Quinter, KS, the daughter of Wilfred J. and Isa E. (Teel) Rumback.

Kathleen graduated from Trinity High School in 1969 and attended Adele Hale Business College in Hutchinson. She married Gerald Lee Bynum on July 24, 1971 in Hutchinson. This union was blessed with two daughters Rebecca and Emilee and a son Matthew.

Kathy was a homemaker and later worked for Walmart Distribution Center and retired after 21 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of women’s walking club, loved singing and enjoyed her church and bible studies. Kathy loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending her time with them. She was a member of Mustang Club of Greater Kansas City and Lenexa Baptist Church.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald; daughters, Rebecca (Brad) Oshel and Emilee (José Yépez) Bynum; a son, Matthew (Hiromi) Bynum; three brothers, David (Gretchen) Rumback, Don (Karla) Rumback and Bill (Ana) Rumback; and six grandchildren, Garrett, Wyatt and Carly Oshel, Leesa and Luke Bynum and Atlas Yépez Bynum.

Kathleen Ann Bynum | 1951 - 2020 |

Glen V. Koch, 78, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, doing what he loved most, riding his motorcycle. He was born July 16, 1941 in Cordell, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest and Anna (Krause) Koch.

He was drafted into the United States Army in 1961, where he served for five years attaining the rank of Sergeant. He received the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged in 1966.

Since 1966, Glen was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in McPherson. He was also a member and past director of Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) for 29 years.

He was united in marriage to Aileen Porter on October 6, 1962 at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2013.

Glen was employed at AGCO in Hesston, Kansas as a welder, retiring after 32 years. He also worked part-time for Herb and Tom in the fields, harvesting. He previously worked at Excel for three years and after serving in the military, Glen drove for M. Bruenger and Company in Wichita for two years.&nbsp;

Glen is survived by his son, David (Julie) Koch of Hesston; daughter, Angie (Dale) Vickrey of Moundridge; grandson, Dustin (Crystal) Vickrey of Moundridge; and two great-grandchildren, Westin and Raeleigh Vickrey; and sisters-in-laws, Gloria Mitton of Gulfport, Mississippi and Kathleen (Larry) Mayo of Lexington, Mississippi.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; one sister; and one brother-in-law.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Mound Township Cemetery, Moundridge, KS with military honors. He was born July 16, 1941 in Cordell, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest and Anna (Krause) Koch.He was drafted into the United States Army in 1961, where he served for five years attaining the rank of Sergeant. He received the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged in 1966.Since 1966, Glen was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in McPherson. He was also a member and past director of Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) for 29 years.He was united in marriage to Aileen Porter on October 6, 1962 at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2013.Glen was employed at AGCO in Hesston, Kansas as a welder, retiring after 32 years. He also worked part-time for Herb and Tom in the fields, harvesting. He previously worked at Excel for three years and after serving in the military, Glen drove for M. Bruenger and Company in Wichita for two years.&nbsp;Glen is survived by his son, David (Julie) Koch of Hesston; daughter, Angie (Dale) Vickrey of Moundridge; grandson, Dustin (Crystal) Vickrey of Moundridge; and two great-grandchildren, Westin and Raeleigh Vickrey; and sisters-in-laws, Gloria Mitton of Gulfport, Mississippi and Kathleen (Larry) Mayo of Lexington, Mississippi.He was also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; one sister; and one brother-in-law.Graveside services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Mound Township Cemetery, Moundridge, KS with military honors. Marvalee ‘Marty’ Lewis, 74, of Hutchinson, formerly of Burrton, died June 8, 2020, at Diversicare of Hutchinson. She was born July 25, 1945, in&nbsp; Hutchinson, to Earl and Wilma (Yates) Lewis, Jr.

Marty worked at HUBCO Bag Company as a sand sample turner, before retiring from Schowalter Villa in the housekeeping department. She loved to travel, especially to other countries.

Marty is survived by cousins, Cindy Howard (Al Canada) of Oklahoma, Sara Mautine (Cayce, and their daughter, Lily, of North Carolina, Linda Scoggin and family, and Randy Wood, all of Hutchinson. Randy and Marty were more like sisters than cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Allen Wayne Lewis; son, Kevin Lewis; and companion, Don Porter.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at the Burrton Cemetery, with the Reverend John Chastain officiating. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday thru Monday, at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.

Nelda Von (Bogner) Geffert passed away June 12, 2020 at Legends of Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born in Las Animas, Colorado on October 16, 1932 to parents Harry and Esther (Sarah) Bogner. Nelda graduated from Haven High School in 1950.&nbsp;

On January 14, 1951 she married William Herman “Bill” Geffert in Haven, Kansas. He passed away January 15, 2015.

Nelda was a homemaker, a seamstress and actively helped her husband on the family farm. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she participated in the lady’s organizations and committees. Nelda also enjoyed visiting the Haven Senior Center.

She is survived by her son, Ray Geffert of Haven, Kansas; daughters Corlis (Ian) Anderson of Toronto, Canada, and Nathalie (Tim) McKenzie of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Wanda Pritchett of South Hutchinson, Kansas; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Nelda was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Vernon Bogner.

Friends may pay their respects to Nelda on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home, Haven, Kansas. The family will not be present. &nbsp;Private family services will be held. Christina Kay Carter, 62, of Hutchinson, KS, died June 5, 2020, at her home. She was born December 27, 1957, in Pueblo, CO, to Jay Everette and Dorothy Belle (Elliston) Bailey.

Christina graduated from Centennial High School, Pueblo, CO. She had many adventures until she settled in Denver, CO, where her daughter, Janie, and twin sons, Justin and Aaron, were born. Christina then moved her family to their forever home in Hutchinson, KS. The last few years of her life were spent as a loving caregiver for her grandchildren.&nbsp;

Christina is survived by her children, Janie (Travis) Zotti of Hutchinson, KS, Justin (Jordyn) Carter of Sterling, KS, and Aaron Carter of Hutchinson, KS; sisters, Sue Ellen (Wayne) Ritter, Loretta Bailey, and Jeannie Ballejos; brother, Jay Bailey; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Connie Grimes and Melissa Bailey-Acks; and brother, Edgar Bailey.

Mildred “Millie” Irene Dozier, 85, passed away on June 8, 2020, at Reflection Living, Hutchinson, KS. She was born September 2, 1934, near Skidmore, MO, the daughter of Burman and Delma (Albright) Wright.

 She was the middle of seven children. She married Roy Dale Dozier, her high school sweetheart on March 3, 1951. To this union was born a daughter Sherry Lynn and a son Jeffrey Dale.

Millie moved with her family to Hutchinson in 1967 from St. Joseph, MO. She was employed in the Reno County Treasures office for 18 years, serving as Deputy Treasurer the last 11 years. She retired in 1993. After retirement she and Roy traveled to 49 states and several provenances in Canada in their motorhome. She was a member of the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kathryn Coston and Frances “Frannie” Wright and a brother Karl Wright.

Survivors include her children, Sherry (Lonnie) Manche and Jeffrey (Jill) Dozier; five grandchildren, Kimberly Manche, Chad (Meridith) Manche, Drew (Brooke) Keim, Jordon Droz and Scott (Maylin) Dozier; three great grandchildren, Dylan Manche, Carter and Bennett Keihm; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara went to St. Teresa’s Catholic School. On May 23, 1951, Barbara married A. B. (Jay) Parker, they later divorced. In 1975, she married Calvin J. Carithers and divorced in 1986. Later Barbara married Robert L. Deckard in Lyons, KS. He passed away on December 10, 1999. Barbara was a clerk at Dillons and before retiring in 1994 was a manager at Don’s Smokes For Less for three years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Gayland Parker; brother, Don Pruitt; two sisters, Teresa Skinner and Betty Arline Anderson; and a grandson, Travis Parker.

Barbara is survived by her stepson, Kenneth (Candy) Deckard; four sisters, MaryAnn Dick, Linda Albright, Anita Wedel and Thelma Warta; two grandchildren, Austin and Heather Parker; two great grandchildren, Cooper and Conner Deckard; five great-great grandchildren, Cynthia Teeter, Holly Parker, Shelby Self, Emily Parker, and Jayden Parker; and three great-great-great grandchildren, Miguel and Isabelle Bautista and Samuel Cortez.

Glenn A. Riley, 61 of Hutchinson, passed away June 8, 2020, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born July 18, 1958, in Larned, KS, to Carl L. and Helena F. (Stanley) Riley.

Glenn was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. Glenn worked as a combine painter and was a kitchen manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Glenn was known for his love of fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell D. Riley. 

Glenn is survived by his children; Kristina (Eric Simpson) Riley, Brian (Jamie) Riley, Adam (Stephany) Riley and Michael (Shondale Murphy) Riley; a brother, John Riley; and 20 grandchildren with one on the way.

Jeff graduated from Buhler High School and was a truck driver for many years before retiring. He also enjoyed training and riding mules.

In October 1998, Jeff married Ramona Lynn Nichols in Hutchinson. She survives.

Also surviving are brother, Kenneth Ankerholz, Inman; niece, Lana Lambert (Josh, Inman; and a host of friends.

Memorial services are pending and will be announced at a later date.

Marjorie Alice (Rowland) Ensz, 87, died surrounded by family, June 8, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born March 29, 1933, in Hutchinson, the daughter of William V. and Wilma A. (Roberson) Rowland. Her faith, family and friends were vitally important to her and she never knew a stranger.

Marjorie graduated from Buhler High School in 1951, always joining clubs and was one of the leaders in her class. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Sterling College. Marjorie then continued her education, achieving her master’s degree in elementary education and also certification as a reading specialist, both from Wichita State University. Marjorie’s love of learning carried over into her classroom, sharing fun and unique ways of learning to her students.

Marjorie’s teaching career spanned 35 ½ years, starting at Putnam CXVI in Stafford County and then on to Prosperity, Union Valley, and finishing at Obee Grade School in Buhler USD 313.&nbsp; She was a lifelong KNEA member and was nominated by Buhler USD 313 teachers for the Kansas Master Teacher Award in 1983.

Marjorie was an active member of Community Church of the Brethren, Hutchinson, where she served as a deacon, Sunday school and Bible school teacher and took turns acting as the director of both.&nbsp; She was always willing to share her time and God-given talents in many areas of her church life.

Marjorie married Clarence W. Ensz June 6, 1954, on a HOT summer day in Stafford. They shared 66 years of marriage, raising three children and carving out a farm in the sand hills east of Hutchinson. Marjorie particularly enjoyed family times camping and traveling in God’s beautiful world. She loved taking pictures, reading a good book during quiet times, and listening to many kinds of music. Her caring heart, generous nature, and ready smile will be missed.

Clarence survives. Also surviving are daughter, Valerie Hornbaker (Paul, Hutchinson; sons, Rex Ensz (Jacqueline, Mount Hope, Wes Ensz (Kim, Buhler; grandsons, Isaac Ensz, Brad Ensz, Aaron Ensz; sister, Emilie Dell, McPherson; brothers, Charles Rowland, Bay City, TX, Clyde Rowland (Jean, Howard Rowland, all of Hutchinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brandon Hornbaker; and sister, Ruth Hoffman.

Family graveside service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Community Church of the Brethren, 1600 N. Severance St., with Pastor Judson Hornbaker officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Robin Lenay Weers, 57, of Hutchinson, passed away June 5, 2020, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born September 19, 1962, in Topeka, KS, to Raymond and Rose (Mahr) Welcher Sr.

Robin was a graduate of Jackson Heights High School. She worked as a CNA. On November 2, 2013 Robin married Robert Weers. Robin enjoyed spending her free time playing the slots at the casinos and spending time with her grandchildren.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Deborah Mosher and Cathy McCracken.

Robin is survived by her devoted husband, Robert and their daughter, Dallis of the home; daughters, Megan Faust and Jessica Lamme; sons, Joshua Spurlock and Mitchell Spurlock; brothers, Bryan Welcher and Raymond Welcher Jr.; and several grandchildren.

Mary Elizabeth “GiGi” Scobee, 69, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born December 15, 1950 in Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Billie H. and Martha Jean (Hearn) Venters.

GiGi was a LPN, working at Haven Friendship Manor, Mt. Hope Nursing Center, and Golden Plains at Hutchinson.

She was united in marriage to Willis G. “PaPa” Scobee on May 10, 1974, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2014.

She loved to garden in the summertime, loved her chickens and above all, her grandchildren. When she retired, she enjoyed spending her time with Willis.

GiGi was survived by her daughters, Amanda (Buddy) Reese of Mt. Hope, Alisa (Dave) Stover of Chase, and Alma (Phil Austin) Scobee of Haven; mother, Martha Jean Venters of Haven; brother, Billie G. (Sheri) Venters of Haven; sisters, Marsha (Poncho Smith) Wells of Haven, Jerri (Steve) Taylor of Haven, and Janet (Bob) Jones of Mt. Chase Wade Smith, 21, of Hutchinson, died May 31, 2020, at his home. He was born July 21, 1998, in Hutchinson, to Gilbert Wade and Michelle Lynn (Davis) Smith.

Chase attended Jasper High School, Jasper, Arkansas. He worked in the fast food industry for Taco Bell and Little Caesars.

Chase is survived by his parents, Michelle Davis of Hutchinson, and Gilbert; siblings, Brandy Hartman, Dustin Bright, and Courtney Smith; grandpa, Charles Davis; uncle, Charles D. Lynda S. Altvater, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away June 3, 2020, at the age of 57, surrounded by family at the Hospice House of Hutchinson, after a valiant 8-year battle with cancer. She was born June 14, 1962, in Winfield, Kansas, to William (Bud) and Betty Baysinger.

Lynda was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. Lynda worked at HUBCO and Abundant Life Daycare. Lynda was known for her creativity, her cooking, and her faith in Jesus Christ. Lynda married Russell Altvater on June 24, 1989.

Lynda is survived by her devoted husband, Russell Altvater of Hutchinson; her loving mother, Betty Baysinger of Hutchinson, her two sons, Aaron Altvater (Courtney) of Haviland, and Cameron Altvater of Hutchinson; her sister, Cheri L. Baysinger of Hutchinson, and numerous cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.

Lynda was preceded in death by her father, William (Bud) Baysinger.

Josephine “Jo” Elda Willems, 90, passed away June 3, 2020 at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born October 31, 1929 in Inman, the daughter of Pete and Agatha Esau Goertzen. She was a graduate of Inman High School.

Jo had been employed by First National Bank of Hutchinson for 40 years, retiring in 1997 and was a member of Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church, Inman. She married Victor T. Willems on April 28, 1951. He survives. 

Other survivors include a son, Timothy (Deborah) Willems, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Brittany (Tyler) Lawrence, Shelby (Dylan) Trammell, and Trevor Willems, all of Hutchinson, Brianna (Tyler) Augustine, Gypsum; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Abby Michelle Willems; and three sisters, Mary Weins, Alyce Lutes, and Pauline Friesen Raines. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2020 at Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church, with Pastor Dwight Carter presiding. Burial will follow at Zoar Church Cemetery. Maxine England, 100, of Hutchinson, died June 4, 2020, at Hester Care Center. She was born December 15, 1919, in Huntsville, to Olan and Verna (Leslie) Bramley.

Maxine graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1937. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and especially grandmother. Maxine was a devoted member of First Christian Church, Hutchinson.

On August 3, 1940, she married Robert England in Hutchinson. They shared 40 years together before his passing on February 26, 1981.

Maxine is survived by daughters, Beverly (Harold) Stauffer, Hutchinson, Margaret England, Hutchinson, Jane (Charlie) Yunker, Derby, and Debbie Beougher, Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Patti (Robert) Kennedy, Kay (John) Alexander, Amy (Jim) Theis, and Andy (Anjie) Ramirez; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert England; brother, Harold Bramley; son-in-law, Kurt Beougher; and great-grandson, James Kennedy.

Maxine England | 1919 - 2020 |

Evea “Jean” Stark passed away June 3, 2020. She was born on August 4, 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Evea (Jones) Hammond.

Jean was a homemaker most of her adult life. On October 27, 1963 she married Raymond Stark at Chetopa, Kansas. They shared 51 years of marriage. He passed away July 11, 2015.

Jean is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Amanda) Stark of McPherson, Kansas, James Stark of Versailles, Missouri; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Steven Stark; a sister, Loretta Dixon; and a brother, Roy Hammond.

 </figure>Evea “Jean” Stark passed away June 3, 2020. She was born on August 4, 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Evea (Jones) Hammond.Jean was a homemaker most of her adult life. On October 27, 1963 she married Raymond Stark at Chetopa, Kansas. They shared 51 years of marriage. He passed away July 11, 2015.Jean is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Amanda) Stark of McPherson, Kansas, James Stark of Versailles, Missouri; and six grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Steven Stark; a sister, Loretta Dixon; and a brother, Roy Hammond.Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday,&nbsp;June 8, 2020 at Moundridge Funeral Home, Moundridge, Kansas with Pastor Mark Ollenberger officiating. Steve Bailey, 52, of Hutchinson, died June 2, 2020, at his home. He was born August 2, 1967, in Topeka, to Rudy and Elizabeth (Barraclough) Bailey.

Steve enjoyed spending time alone and playing his video games.

Steve is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Bailey (Paul); mother, Elizabeth "Lee" Alejos (Augustine); siblings, Jayna Bailey, Sarah Bailey, Eric Bailey, and Josh Alejos; granddaughter, Sonya Metzger; and Elizabeth’s mother, Connie Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudy, and daughter, Aspen.
