SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Draymond Green was ejected after putting Rudy Gobert in a headlock and two other players were thrown out after an altercation early in the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game was still scoreless and not even two minutes had elapsed Tuesday night when Golden State’s Klay Thompson and Minnesota’s Jaden McDaniels got in a shoving match near midcourt following a Timberwolves possession. Green rushed in and pulled Gobert away from behind with his arm around the center’s neck. Thompson’s jersey was ripped during the scuffle, which led to Green’s second ejection of the season and two free throw attempts for Gobert.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey with the Josh Allen-led attack stagnating over a six-week stretch and the three-time defending AFC East champions falling further out of the playoff picture. The move came a day after a 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in an outing where Allen committed three of Buffalo’s four turnovers and the offense was held under 26 points for a sixth straight game to match the longest stretch since the quarterback’s rookie season in 2018. FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones still loves the spotlight in his 80s. There have been plenty of reasons for him to shrink from it in the past two years. The lawsuits and questions about his commitment to race and diversity haven't stopped Jones from being among the most accessible owners in sports. Jones is also the general manager. He gets criticized for being the reason the club hasn't even reached an NFC championship game in 28 years. Dallas won three Super Bowls in his first seven seasons. Critics like to give former coach Jimmy Johnson credit for those titles. Jones says he isn't worried about running out of time to win another championship.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Brandon Hyde was voted American League Manager of the Year after guiding the Baltimore Orioles to an AL-best 101 victories just two years after a 110-loss season. Miami’s Skip Schumaker won the National League award in voting by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Hyde led Baltimore out of a difficult rebuild in which the Orioles improved to 83-79 in 2022 and he finished second in voting to Cleveland’s Terry Francona. Hyde earned 27 of 30 first-place votes this year. Schumaker received eight first-place votes, three more than runner-up Craig Counsell, who left Milwaukee last week to manage the Chicago Cubs.

UNDATED (AP) — Rory McIlroy has abruptly resigned from the PGA Tour board. His decision comes as the tour is trying to finalize an agreement to create a new commercial enterprise involving Saudi Arabia’s national wealth fund. McIlroy has been the biggest voice opposing Saudi-funded LIV Golf. He has spent the last five years involved in tour business during some turbulent times. That includes dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and most recently the threat and then partnership with Saudi's national wealth fund. McIlroy was the first international player to serve on the policy board. He ends his season in Dubai this week on the European tour.

⚾ Royals make roster moves

CHICAGO, Ill. (AP)&nbsp;— Hunter Dickinson had a game-high 27 points and a career-high 21 rebounds as No. 1 Kansas overcame a 14-point second half deficit to beat No. 17 Kentucky 89-84 in the Champions Classic on Tuesday night at the United Center.

“What he does is he takes pressure off everybody else by having everybody else focused on him,” Kansas coach Bill Self said. “So that’s a big bonus.”

Kevin McCullar Jr. finished with a triple-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists for the third official triple-double in Kansas history and the first since Jeff Withey on Nov. 26, 2012.

Dajuan Harris Jr. added a career-high 23 points for the Jayhawks, while KJ Adams Jr. scored 16 points.

Kansas (3-0) closed the game on an 11-1 run. Harris opened the decisive stretch with a 3-pointer and two foul shots. Dickinson then put the Jayhawks in front for good with two free throws that made it 85-83 with 2:04 to go.

Kentucky (2-1) had a couple chances to tie the game in the final 1:02, but it came up empty each time. After Reed Sheppard missed a 3-point with 6 seconds left, Jamari McDowell made two foul shots to help close it out for the Jayhawks.

Antonio Reeves scored 24 points for Kentucky, but he went 3-of-17 from 3-point range. Adou Thiero finished with 16 points and 13 boards.

Rob Dillingham, a part of another stellar group of freshmen for the Wildcats, scored 16 of his 18 points in the first half. He was whistled for his fourth foul midway through the second half and eventually fouled out.

It was Kansas’ first game in Chicago since it stopped in the Windy City on its way to the 2022 NCAA championship. The Jayhawks beat Miami&nbsp;76-50&nbsp;in the Midwest Region final at the United Center that year.

Kansas had a 25-21 lead before Dillingham began to take over. The flashy freshman made 3-pointers on four straight Kentucky possessions and then dished to Reeves for another 3, giving the Wildcats a 36-30 lead with 4:37 left in the first half.

The Jayhawks were staring at a double-digit halftime deficit before Dickinson hit two foul shots and a 3, making it 48-41 at the break. Dickinson had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the first half.

BIG PICTUREKansas: While Dickinson had a big night, it’s clear the Jayhawks have some work to do when it comes to getting used to each other. They finished with 14 turnovers, and a couple of them occurred when they tried to force the ball inside to their new center.

Kentucky: It was the first big test for the new kids on the Wildcats, and there was a lot to like. They had just eight turnovers. If Calipari can teach them how to finish close games, they could be in line for a big season.

(AP)&nbsp;— Hunter Dickinson had a game-high 27 points and a career-high 21 rebounds as No. 1 Kansas overcame a 14-point second half deficit to beat No. 17 Kentucky 89-84 in the Champions Classic on Tuesday night at the United Center.“What he does is he takes pressure off everybody else by having everybody else focused on him,” Kansas coach Bill Self said. “So that’s a big bonus.”Kevin McCullar Jr. finished with a triple-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists for the third official triple-double in Kansas history and the first since Jeff Withey on Nov. 26, 2012.Dajuan Harris Jr. added a career-high 23 points for the Jayhawks, while KJ Adams Jr. scored 16 points.Kansas (3-0) closed the game on an 11-1 run. The flashy freshman made 3-pointers on four straight Kentucky possessions and then dished to Reeves for another 3, giving the Wildcats a 36-30 lead with 4:37 left in the first half.The Jayhawks were staring at a double-digit halftime deficit before Dickinson hit two foul shots and a 3, making it 48-41 at the break. MANHATTAN, Kan.&nbsp;– Kansas State connected on 14 3-point field goals, including a combined 10 from senior&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/tylor-perry/11222">Tylor Perry</a>&nbsp;and junior&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/cam-carter/11216">Cam Carter</a>, as the Wildcats led from wire-to-wire in an impressive 91-68 win over preseason Summit League favorite South Dakota State before 9,421 fans at Bramlage Coliseum on Monday night.

The 14 made 3-point field goals tied for the fifth-most in school history and the most since the Wildcats knocked down 16 at Oklahoma State on Feb. 2, 2019.

Carter scored a career-high 25 points, hitting on 10-of-20 field goals, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range, while Perry also netted 20 points, tying his season-high with 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including 6-of-7 from beyond the arc. They are the first Wildcat teammates this season to each post a 20-point game and the first since&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/keyontae-johnson/9899">Keyontae Johnson</a>&nbsp;(22) and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/markquis-nowell/9650">Markquis Nowell</a>&nbsp;(20) did it against Michigan State in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Freshman&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/r-j-jones/11224">R.J. Jones</a>&nbsp;notched the other 4 3-point field goals, finishing with a season-high 14 points on 4-of-6 field goals, including 4-of-5 from 3-point land.

In all, four registered double figures, as senior big man&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/will-mcnair-jr-/11541">Will McNair Jr.</a>&nbsp;tallied a season-high 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting with 7 rebounds.

Buoyed by the stellar night from beyond the arc, K-State (2-1) scored a season-high 91 points on a season-best 57.4 percent (35-of-61) shooting from the field, including 56 percent (14-of-25) from 3-point range, and 77.8 percent (7-of-8) from the free throw line. The Wildcats scored 40 points in the paint, while they had 17 fast-break points, 16 second-chance points and 15 points off turnovers. They had an assist on 24 of their 35 field goals.

The defense was equally impressive, holding the Jackrabbits (1-2) to 41.5 percent (27-of-65) shooting, including 33.3 percent (7-of-21) from long range, while they made just 46.7 percent (7-of-15) from the free throw line.

Coming off a game on Friday night where they allowed Bellarmine to cut a 19-point lead into single digits in the final minutes, the Wildcats were determined from the tip to not let that happen again.

The team jumped out to an 18-6 lead after a 4-point play from Jones right before the second media timeout with 11:52 to play before halftime. They stayed ahead, although the Jackrabbits recovered from a 3-for-16 start to the game to cut the deficit to 27-22 after a 3-pointer from senior&nbsp;Luke Appel&nbsp;with 7:23 remaining.

Carter, who at one point scored 9 straight points and had 15 points in the first half for the second straight game, was able ignite an 11-2 run with a jumper on the next possession following the Appel 3-pointer that pushed the lead back into double figures at 38-24. Five straight by the Jackrabbits cut the deficit to single digits at the half.

Perry opened the second half was his third 3-pointer then a fourth triple put K-State ahead in double figures for good with just over 16 minutes remaining. The lead grew to 20 points with 9:24 to play after a layup by redshirt freshman&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/dorian-finister/11218">Dorian Finister</a>&nbsp;and another 3-pointer by Carter.

The well-rounded stars used power, speed and defense to help their respective franchises to the playoffs after both teams lost 110 games just two seasons ago. Wisconsin state Senate to vote on downsized Milwaukee Brewers stadium repair bill

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin state Senate is poised to approve a plan to spend more than half a billion dollars on repairs at the Milwaukee Brewers' stadium over the next three decades. The Senate is expected to vote on the proposal during a floor session scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The state Assembly approved a plan in October that calls for the state to contribute $411.5 million and the city and county of Milwaukee to contribute $135 million. The version of the plan up for a Senate vote ratchets the state contribution back to $382.5 million.

Jim Harbaugh says Sherrone Moore will lead No. 2 Michigan if a judge doesn't rule in school's favor

They expect the races Thursday through Saturday will draw some of the most monied spectators in sports to Nevada.

GENEVA (AP) — Olympic sports bodies want urgent talks with the IOC about the risk of cuts in their revenue shares and athlete quotas at the 2028 Los Angeles Games because cricket and other newcomers have been added to the program. The International Olympic Committee last month approved cricket, baseball/softball, flag football, lacrosse and squash for 2028. The Olympic body also kept boxing, modern pentathlon or weightlifting despite their status being in doubt. The Summer Games sports umbrella group known as ASOIF says the 2028 expansion to a record 36 sports "has raised several questions" among its members.

Novak Djokovic gets his trophy after securing year-end No. 1 ranking for a record-extending 8th time

TURIN, Italy (AP) — Novak Djokovic has received his trophy after securing the year-end No. 1 ranking for a record-extending eighth time. Djokovic needed only one match win at the ATP Finals to be sure of keeping the top spot and the 24-time Grand Slam champion secured it in his opener by beating Holger Rune in a match spanning more than three hours on Sunday and into Monday morning. ATP president Andrea Gaudenzi presented Djokovic with the trophy for his achievement on Monday afternoon. Djokovic then posed for pictures with his team of coaches, physical trainers and family members.

With $1 million hospitality packages and exorbitant hotel rates, the race was never about attracting new fans. F1 owner Liberty Media clearly views the race as an international showstopper for the highest of the high rollers. The company may have overestimated the interest. Tickets are still available and hotel prices along the Strip have plummeted ahead of Saturday night's race.

South Carolina jumps to No. 1 in women's AP Top 25 after chaotic week; Colorado crashes top 5

South Carolina moves up to No. 1 after a chaotic opening week that saw nine of the first 14 teams lose, including previous top choice LSU and second-ranked UConn. The Gamecocks were sixth in the preseason poll and received 23 first-place votes from the 36-member national media panel. Iowa was second garnering the other 13 first-place ballots. UCLA, Utah and Colorado rounded out the first five. LSU fell to seventh and UConn dropped to eighth. Despite the loss, the Huskies now have been ranked for 566 consecutive weeks, breaking a tie with Tennessee for the longest streak all-time.

The Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons are well-represented in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) rankings released on Monday afternoon.

The Blue Dragon football team remains No. 1 in the Top 15 rankings. Hutchinson finished the regular season with a 10-0 record following a <a href="https://hutchpost.com/posts/6247b7cd-3307-4406-bac3-34fb92e61e73">42-28 win over No. 2 Iowa Western</a> on Saturday afternoon at Gowans Stadium.

The HutchCC women's basketball team cracked the first Top 25 poll of the regular season, coming in at No. 22. The Blue Dragons are currently 5-0 on the season and will travel to No. 11 Dodge City on Saturday to begin Jayhawk Conference play.

The Blue Dragon men's basketball team is off to a 4-1 start on the season and is on the outside looking in at the first rankings of the season. Hutchinson is receiving votes in the poll, and will open KJCCC play at Dodge City on Saturday.

IRVING, Texas&nbsp;–&nbsp;Kansas senior center Hunter Dickinson averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and shot 4-of-4 from three-point range to be named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. This is the first weekly honor for Dickinson and a KU player in 2023-24.

A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Dickinson scored 21 points in just 24 minutes in his Kansas debut against North Carolina Central on Nov. 6, which ended with a 99-56 win for the Jayhawks. Dickinson went 3-of-3 from beyond the arc and was almost perfect from the field, going 8-for-9 with eight rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots and one steal.

In Kansas’ 99-61 win against Manhattan College on Nov. 10, Dickinson posted 18 points, eight rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes. Dickinson has scored in double figures 85 times in his career, including in both of his games at Kansas. Against Manhattan, Dickinson secured his 800th career rebound.

🏀 MBB: KU's Hunter Dickinson named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week

The first Associated Press men’s basketball poll of the regular season is typically a jumble of teams swapping positions as preseason expectations meet the reality of playing actual games.

The first poll of the 2023-24 is no different.

Kansas remained at No. 1 and received 51 first-place votes from a 62-person media panel in the&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-basketball-poll" target="_blank">poll released Monday</a>, but the rest of the AP Top 25 was filled with teams moving up and down.

No. 2 Purdue moved up a spot with two easy opening wins and received seven first-place votes. No. 3 Arizona took a giant leap from 12 after beating Duke and had three first-place votes.

No. 4 Marquette moved up a spot as did defending national champion Connecticut, which received a first-place vote to round out the top five. No. 24 James Madison moved into the poll for the first time ever after taking down Michigan State in overtime.

Arizona’s rapid rise stemmed from a successful trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Wildcats were a bit of an unknown entity in coach Tommy Lloyd’s third season with several new players replacing key losses from a team that lost to Princeton in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Arizona answered some of the questions with an impressive road performance,&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/duke-arizona-basketball-16928e8eaa04a704e0fd1575f951a480" target="_blank">knocking off Duke 78-73</a>&nbsp;after blowing out Morgan State in its opener. Howard threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns on 19-of-29 aim, helping the Wildcats earn a 59-25 victory over Baylor. Howard's final touchdown of the afternoon was the 45th&nbsp;of his career as he set the school's career record, passing former first-round NFL Draft pick Josh Freeman (2006-08). It was Howard's fifth game this season with three or more passing touchdowns, the most since Freeman had five such games in 2008. The Blue Dragons complete the regular season undefeated at 10-0 for the second-straight season. The announcement for the NJCAA National Semifinals will be on Monday, November 20. Iowa Western is 10-1. No. 3 Kilgore College defeated New Mexico Military in overtime on Saturday. No. 4 Copiah-Lincoln defeated Northwest Mississippi 48-14 on Saturday.

Kilgore College will now play No. 12 Navarro College in the SWJCFC Championship on Saturday, November 18th. Navarro College defeated No. 7 ranked Trinity Valley 30-29 in the SWJCFC semifinal on Saturday.

Copiah-Lincoln will now play No. 8 ranked East Mississippi on Saturday, November 18th in the MACCC Championship in Wesson, Mississippi. East Mississippi defeated No. 6 ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast 33 to 21 to advance to the Championship game.

No. 5 Snow College is still very much in the playoff picture as the Badgers defeated Monroe College 32-13 on Saturday.

Today's NJCAA poll will be released around 3pm with the final poll coming out on November 18th to determine the top four playoff teams for 2023.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Texas A&amp;M fired coach Jimbo Fisher on Sunday, a move that will cost the school $75 million. The move ends a tenure that began six years ago with the Aggies presenting him an engraved national championship trophy missing only the year. Fisher was lured away from Florida State, where he had won a national championship in 2013, by a massive 10-year, fully guaranteed contract at the end of the 2017 season. The deal was extended back to 10 years after the 2020 season.

5 NFL games end on game-winning field goals, most ever in one day

Five games ended with game-winning field goals in regulation Sunday, the most in one day in NFL history. The Cardinals, Browns, Seahawks, Texans and Lions each won on a field goal as time expired. The previous high in a single day was three. Cleveland and Arizona were trailing before their kicks. Dustin Hopkins hit a 40-yarder to give the Browns a 33-31 victory at Baltimore. Matt Prater made a 23-yard field goal to lift the Cardinals to a 25-23 win over Atlanta. Seattle, Houston and Detroit were tied before their decisive field goals.

Jacobs rushes for 116 yards as Raiders improve to 2-0 under Pierce, beat Jets 16-12

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Josh Jacobs rushed for 116 yards, rookie Aidan O'Connell connected with Michael Mayer for the game's only touchdown, and the Las Vegas Raiders improved to 2-0 under interim coach Antonio Pierce, beating the New York Jets 16-12. The Raiders turned away two late attempts by the Jets to rally. Robert Spillane intercepted Zach Wilson's pass at the Las Vegas 15 with 1:22 left. After the Raiders punted, Wilson's heave to the end zone fell incomplete on the game's final play. Jacobs ended a 14-game streak of failing to gain 100 yards, getting 27 attempts as Pierce committed to a run-first attack.

C.J. Stroud leads another game-winning drive, Texans edge Bengals 30-27 on last-second field goal

CINCINNATI (AP) — Rookie C.J. Stroud directed a last-minute, game-winning drive for the second straight week, finishing with 356 yards passing and leading the Houston Texans to a 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. With the game tied at 27-all and 1:33 remaining, Stroud moved the Texans 55 yards in six plays to set up a 38-yard field goal by Matt Ammendola as time expired. Noah Brown had 172 yards receiving for the Texans and Devin Singletary ran for 150 yards and a score. Joe Burrow threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns for the Bengals but was intercepted twice in the fourth quarter.

AP Top 25: Georgia's No. 1 streak hits 22, second-best ever. Louisville, Oregon State enter top 10

Georgia extended its streak of weeks being top-ranked in the AP Top 25 to 22, giving the Bulldogs the second-longest run of being No. 1 in the history of the college football poll. The Bulldogs received 54 first-place votes. Georgia broke a tie with Miami, which made 21 straight appearances at No. 1 from 2001-02. The longest No. 1 streak belongs to Southern California. The Trojans spent 33 straight polls at No. 1 from 2003-2005. The entire top eight of this week's Top 25 remained unchanged, with No. 2 Michigan receiving seven first-place votes and No. 3 Ohio State getting one. Louisville and Oregon State entered the top 10.

Tyrese Maxey scores career-high 50 points, leads 76ers to 8th straight win

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Tyrese Maxey scored a career-high 50 points, Joel Embiid had 37 points and the Philadelphia 76ers improved to 8-1 with their eighth straight victory, beating the Indiana Pacers 137-126. Maxey was 20 for 32 from the field and had seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks in the first of two straight games in Philadelphia between the teams. His previous high was 44 against Toronto on Oct. 28, 2022. Embiid had 13 rebounds in 33 minutes. The 76ers are off to their best nine-game start since opening 10-0 in 2000-01 en route to the NBA Finals. Grizzlies' Ja Morant is 'pushing every button possible' to be ready for December return, coach says

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins says Ja Morant "is pushing every button" in preparing to return to the team after his 25-game suspension ends in mid-December. The two-time All-Star guard can't be in the arena during games, but Morant is around the team the rest of the time. Jenkins says Morant has been practicing with the second and third units, attending film sessions and team dinners and hanging out with his teammates after games. Morant is serving his second suspension by the league as the result of being filmed on social media displaying a gun.

Saniya Rivers goes for a career-best 33 points as NC State stuns No. 2 UConn 92-81

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Saniya Rivers had a career-best 33 points to go with 10 rebounds and five assists to help North Carolina State stun second-ranked Connecticut 92-81 on Sunday, earning the program's first win against the Huskies in more than a quarter-century. Aziaha James added 18 points for the Wolfpack. N.C. State ran off an 11-0 burst early in the fourth quarter to stretch out a double-digit margin in what had otherwise been a tense tussle. Preseason Associated Press All-American Paige Bueckers scored 27 points for UConn, while Aaliyah Edwards added 21.

Djokovic secures year-end top ranking for a record-extending 8th time by beating Rune at ATP Finals

TURIN, Italy (AP) — Novak Djokovic has secured the year-end top ranking for a record-extending eighth time. Djokovic needed only one match win at the ATP Finals to be sure of keeping the No. 1 spot and the 24-time Grand Slam champion did it in his opener by beating Holger Rune 7-6 (4), 6-7 (1), 6-3. The 36-year-old Djokovic had already moved ahead of previous record holder Pete Sampras two years ago. Sampras finished No. 1 six times. Carlos Alcaraz of Spain took the honors last year. Djokovic has won 19 straight matches since his five-set loss to Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final in July. Jannik Sinner beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-4 in an earlier match.

Astros will promote bench coach Joe Espada to be manager, replacing Dusty Baker, AP source says

HOUSTON (AP) — Joe Espada will be introduced as manager of the Houston Astros on Monday, a person familiar with the hiring told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the team hadn't announced the decision. The Astros have a news conference scheduled for Monday at noon EST. Espada will take over for Dusty Baker, who retired last month. This will be the first managerial position for the 48-year-old Espada, who has been Houston's bench coach since 2018.

A Chrysler 300 sped through a red light early Saturday and collided with an SUV. Four people died at the scene, and two more died after being taken to the hospital. The driver of the Chrysler was among the dead, as was a man who police say was apparently homeless. Hayden was 33. He was born in Houston and starred at the University of Houston. He was a first-round draft pick in 2013 and played in eight seasons for the Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars.

LAWRENCE, Kan. –&nbsp;Devin Neal rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown and the Kansas defense held Texas Tech to 16 points, but it was not enough as the Texas Tech Red Raiders defeated the No. 19 Kansas Jayhawks 16-13 in front of a sold-out crowd inside David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Kansas trailed 13-0 entering the fourth quarter and came back to tie it up at 13-13 with 0:26 remaining in the game. However, Texas Tech drove 63 yards in four plays to set up Gino Garcia for a game-winning 30-yard field goal.

Neal has now tallied 2,762 yards in his career, which passes John Riggins, Gale Sayers and Clark Green for fifth on the all-time list. Neal finished with 137 yards and a touchdown to mark his fourth 100-yard game of the season and the 10th of his career.

Kansas took the ball first but struggled to get anything going on its first two drives, going 3-and-out to start the game. Texas Tech took advantage of the slow KU start and jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.

Kansas found momentum in the second quarter but was unable to reach the endzone in the first half, as Texas Tech stopped Kansas on a 4th-and-goal with 3:05 remaining in the half. Texas Tech would take the 10-0 lead into halftime.

Texas Tech would extend its lead to 13-0 with 2:58 remaining in the third quarter on a 31-yard field goal by Gino Garcia.

Following a missed Texas Tech field goal, Kansas found its first touchdown when running back Devin Neal broke off a 60-yard rush for a touchdown, marking his 27th career rushing touchdown. Texas Tech held the lead, 13-7 with 12:12 remaining in the game.

After forcing a Texas Tech punt on the next possession, Kansas got the ball at its own 23-yard line. The Jayhawks drove 71 yards over 11 plays but were forced to kick a field goal from the Texas Tech 6-yard line. The field goal cut the deficit to 13-10 with 4:42 left in the contest.
