
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson High School boys soccer team saw its season came to an end with a 4-3 loss in penalty kicks to Andover on Monday at the Salthawk Soccer Complex.
The game was tied 3-3 after regulation and after the two overtime periods, sending the game to penalty kicks. Andover would win the penalty kicks, 5-4 to seal the victory.
The Salthawks were the No. 5 seed in the 5A west regional, while the Trojans were No. 12.
Hutchinson ends the season with a 11-4-2 record, a four-win improvement from last season.
