COLBY, Kan. – For the first time this season, both Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Soccer Players of the Week are repeat winners with Hutchinson’s Haley Rogers and Kansas City Kansas goalkeeper Maria Heuman each earning their second award of the season to conclude the regular season.

Haley Rogers (Hutchinson) – Haley Rogers had a four-point game with a goal and two assists in number 16 Hutchinson's 3-3 tie with number 19 Cowley last Saturday to conclude the regular season. Rogers' performance helped the Blue Dragons clinch third place in the KJCCC final standings as the sophomore now has team highs of 13 goals and 35 points to go with nine assists.

Maria Heuman (KCKCC) – Maria Heuman saw 11 shots this past week and let in just one against number 19 Cowley as part of a 3-1 road win over the Tigers. The Green Ridge, Missouri native currently leads the conference with seven solo shutouts and three shared shutouts for the 13-0-5 Blue Devils. Heuman is a huge part of why the Blue Devils boast a .50 GAA and have given up just nine goals in their 18 games and clinched a share of the KJCCC regular season title.
