He was born on April 6, 1935 in Yates Center, Kansas to James Logan and Margaret Ann (Cook) Hall. Raymond married Ecile Eilene (DeGarmo) Hall on June 1, 1956 in Belvidere. They were married for 65 years. Raymond graduated from Haviland High School in 1953. He worked as a salesman for Hi-Pro Animal Health. He was a member of Isabel Church of Christ and Haviland Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, picking on the grandchildren, working, bit and spur collecting and many other items. He is survived by his wife, Ecile of Wellsford; daughter, Justina (Doug) Toombs of Hooker, Oklahoma; sons, Daniel (Cindy) Hall of Wellsford and Bobby (Connie Johnson) Carter of Pratt; grandchildren, Amy (Matthew) Wilks, Tabitha (Tom) Mehlhorn, Brandy (Dustin) Trout, Samantha Hall, Brandon Carter and Logan (Kelsey) Hall; 11 great grandchildren. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Thad Lyle Hall; infant daughter, Melita Sue Hall; grandchild, Cheyanne Lorraine Carter; and great-granddaughter, Briar June Wilks. Virginia R. Hunt, 96, of Junction City, KS and formerly of Beaver City, NE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Harmony Home in McPherson, KS. Prior to retirement, she owned and operated a hardware store in Beaver City. She was born on June 2, 1925, in Pawnee County, NE, the daughter of Ralph Lewis and Lillian Josephine (Novotny) Stepan. She graduated from Peru (Nebraska) High School and received her associates degree in business. Virginia was united in marriage to Howard E. Mortensen on June 15, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1972. She married Lee Allen Hunt on May 18, 1974, and he passed away on May 16, 1995. She was a member of Faith Community Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include three children, Vivian Gaughan (Mike) of Hollywood, FL, Kenneth Mortensen (Marcia) of Junction City, KS, and Donna Rhine (Barry) of Hollywood, FL; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Mortensen, Jill Mortensen, Jason Rhine, and Aaron Rhine; and five great-grandchildren. Sharon was born in McPherson, Kansas on January 1, 1945, a daughter of June (Hanson) and Doris Wilson Young. Sharon attended Wickersham Elementary School, McPherson Junior High School and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas in 1963. Through the years Sharon owned and operated Rose Janitorial Service in Billings, Montana and in McPherson, Kansas. Sharon enjoyed spending time with all her friends and especially her family. Sharon K. Young was united in marriage to Glenn Rose on April 14, 1963 in McPherson, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in McPherson. This union was blessed with the birth of a daughter, Becky. She is survived by her daughter Becky Rose, of McPherson, Kansas; her siblings, Brenda Banman and her husband Keith, of McPherson, Kansas, Cherri Koehn and her husband Frank, of McPherson, Kansas, Connie Young, of Salina, Kansas, Donna Bartel and her husband LeWayne, of Buhler, Kansas, Jerilynn Nickel, of Marquette, Kansas and Sharon's close friend Richard Gage. John Michael Stewart, 55, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away November 19, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. 

He was born January 23, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of Mike Stewart and Barbara Gregg. John has resided in Lyons since 1970, formerly of Las Vegas. He graduated from Lyons High School, Lyons, with the class of 1984. John has worked for Northern Natural Gas for thirty-five years as a Senior Operations and Mechanical Technician. He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ellinwood, Kansas. 

John enjoyed golfing, working on vehicles, traveling, going to the casino, attending their business craft events; and most of all spending time with his family and friends. On September 5, 2015, John was united in marriage with Misty Dutton in Ellinwood. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his father, Mike Stewart and wife Carol of Lyons; stepson, Nicholas Morgenstern of Medicine Lodge, KS; three daughters, Kiana Stewart and Ariel Stewart both of Manhattan, KS; and step-daughter, Adrianna Morgenstern of Hays, KS; brother, Jeff Stewart of Huntington Beach, CA; sister, Tami Brady and husband Mark of Chase, KS; and one grandchild, Cora Pinkston. John is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; previous wife, Katie Stewart; maternal grandparents; Orville and Margarett Gregg; paternal grandparents, Jack and Cecila Stewart; and uncle John and aunt Shirley Fliess.

Carolyn P. Woodson, 77, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at her home in Hutchinson. Carolyn was born February 22, 1944 in Hutchinson, the daughter of James F. and Lavenia F. (Neal) Woodson.&nbsp; Carolyn worked as a customer service representative for Westar Energy and was also a clerk for the Hutchinson Police Department. She married James Price Sr. and from this union, had two sons; James Price Jr. and Frank D. Price. They later divorced. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jim Woodson Jr. and Wayne Woodson; and a sister, Roslyn Davis. Carolyn is survived by her two sons, James and Frank; two sisters, Julie “Tootsie” Woodson and Shirley Woodson; five grandchildren, Damyn Price, Tiala Price, Brittany Harrison, Taylor Clifford and Sean Darnell Price; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Carolyn’s wishes, cremation was chosen. Darran Bret Cook, 58, of Hutchinson, died November 14, 2021, at University of Colorado Hospital. He was born November 12, 1963, in Hutchinson, to Richard and Valeria (Sutton) Cook.

Darran graduated from Buhler High School and went on to attend Hutchinson Community College and Wichita State University. He worked in home construction, along with his father and brother, for their family business, Wholesale Siding Supply. Darran loved to travel with his family and attend Chiefs games with family and friends. He also enjoyed woodworking and loved his dogs, especially Peanut. Darran was a member of Church of the Holy Cross in Hutchinson.

On February 13, 1988, he married Susan Elizabeth Bird, at Church of the Holy Cross in Hutchinson.

Sue’s life began on September 4, 1944, in Hutchison. She was the daughter of Alva and Audrey (Colvin) Hysom. Sue was a 1962 graduate of Salina Central High School. She was united in marriage to John Utterback on June 5, 1965, at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Salina.

Sue worked for most of her life as an administrative assistant for counseling and foster care organizations associated with United Methodist Youthville. The welfare and education of children was extremely important to Sue. She was also a talented cake decorator who created beautiful cakes for countless people’s special occasions. Sue enjoyed quilting, walking 5K events and playing in the bell choir. She especially enjoyed her family; they were her everything. Her loving family includes her husband John Utterback of Salina; children Cindy Vargas of Salina, Sandy (Tom) Lampo of Thornton, CO, and Tim (Nicole) Utterback of Sayville, NY; Grandchildren Chantal (Adam) Rasnic, Chelsea (Dylan) Lefort , Grace Vargas, Keagan Lampo, Kailey ( Brandon) Moen, Racheal ( Andrew) Cooper, Cierra (Steven) Hinwood, Sadie Utterback (Jonathon Chiansi), Ella Utterback, Evelyn Utterback and Jamison Dimas; Great-grandchildren Austin, Aylah, Kasyn, Aliyah, Maeve, Brooklyn, Creighton, Bradleigh, Beckett, Rhyatt, Aaron, Emberly, Mozya and one on the way; her mother Audrey Hysom of Salina, and siblings Steve (Arlene) Hysom of El Dorado, Sandy Hysom of Wichita, and Jerry Hysom of Salina. Sue Ellen Utterback |1944-2021| 

Raymond Lee Stoltzfus, 68, of Hesston, passed away November 18, 2021, at Newton Medical Center.&nbsp; He was born November 20, 1952 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the son of Raymond King Sr. and Loretta Jane (Lehman) Stoltzfus.

Raymond graduated from Octorara High School in Atglen, Pennsylvania with the class of 1970.&nbsp; He moved to Hesston, where he pursued his education at Hesston College.&nbsp; While there, he met Norma Espada and they were married on August 25, 1979 in Puerto Rico.

He worked at various construction jobs for several years.&nbsp; Raymond went into the trucking industry and became a owner/operator of his own trucking business. He enjoyed working around machinery and was a handy mechanic, doing many of his own repairs on his trucks.&nbsp; In his work, Raymond travelled through all 48 contiguous states, making pickups and deliveries.&nbsp; Due to health concerns, he retired from trucking in 2008.&nbsp;

Raymond enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, and fixing up cars and pickup trucks in his garage for several years.

Raymond Lee Stoltzfus, 68, of Hesston, passed away November 18, 2021, at Newton Medical Center.&nbsp; He was born November 20, 1952 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the son of Raymond King Sr. and Loretta Jane (Lehman) Stoltzfus.Raymond graduated from Octorara High School in Atglen, Pennsylvania with the class of 1970.&nbsp; He moved to Hesston, where he pursued his education at Hesston College.&nbsp; While there, he met Norma Espada and they were married on August 25, 1979 in Puerto Rico.He worked at various construction jobs for several years.&nbsp; Raymond went into the trucking industry and became a owner/operator of his own trucking business. She graduated from Beloit High School and went on to achieve many certificates, CNA, CMA,&nbsp;RA, AD/SSD, HHA and at the end of her working career in healthcare she then took care of&nbsp;the mentally disabled. She loved taking care of others and enjoyed fishing, traveling, and going to casinos.&nbsp;She fought hard and for a long time to the very end.&nbsp;

Orpha Wretling, 90, passed in peace on Nov. 18, 2021 at Leisure Homestead, Stafford. She was born on March 13, 1931 to Theodore F. and Hulda L. (Alpers) Witt in Great Bend. 

Orpha was preceded in death by both of her parents, an infant brother, Vernon Witt; sisters Veleta (Witt) Mueller and Cleora (Witt) Francis and brother Norman Witt. She is survived by her children and step-children---daughter Kathy (Jerry) Hinde of Windsor, Colorado; son Mike (Jessie) LeRoy of St. John; daughter Kristy (Mark) Moore of Eaton, Colorado; daughter Karen (Fred) Westhusin of Plainville; Chuck (Betty) Wretling of Littleton, Colorado; Dee Dannenberg of Overland Park, and Mark (Sandra) Wretling of Salina. She enjoyed 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Orpha graduated from St. John High School in 1949. After high school she pursued her nursing degree from St. Rose Nursing School in Great Bend. She graduated in 1952 as a Registered Nurse—a career she enjoyed and pursued over the next 40 years in various small hospitals and clinics in Kansas.

She married Kenneth R. LeRoy in June of 1952. During their 22 years of marriage they resided in Great Bend, El Paso, Texas, Fairbanks, Alaska and Seward, Kansas. Their early years of marriage took them to Texas and Alaska as part of Ken’s military duties. Together they had 4 children. They divorced in 1974.

In 1976 Orpha married Rev. Charles E. Wretling in Hutchinson, Kansas. They

blended a family of 7 children with 2 still at home. Together, they continued to work in his vocation of Methodist ministry for about 20 years living in 4 small towns in central and western Kansas until they retired in 1992. Prior to retirement they purchased their retirement home in March, 1976 in Wilson Lake Estates in Florissant, Colorado. Over several years they made this mountain cabin into their own beloved home entertaining many family gatherings.

In 2008 Orpha and Charles sold their mountain home and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to enjoy life at the Worthington Independent Living facility. They were available for more family events and made new friends over the next 5 years.

Charles passed away in December of 2013. For another change, Orpha moved into the Good Samaritan Independent Living in Windsor the spring of 2015. She enjoyed meeting new friends and the many activities at Good Sam for 3 years. She renewed interest in her hobbies of sewing, knitting and reading books. In the summer of 2018 she moved in with her 2 Colorado daughters with help from extended family. For 15 months she split each week between their homes in

Windsor and Eaton. When it came time for assisted living, we found The Bridge @

Greeley. She moved in Labor Day weekend 2019. Her stay here was brief because

of a fall in December, 2019 which required hospitalization. Skilled nursing care

was needed next and she was blessed to move back to Kansas into Leisure

Homestead. Having family there and being back in the county she was raised in,

Verta was a lifelong Sterling resident. She graduated from Sterling High School with the class of 1950. Verta worked as a clerk for JCPenny’s, secretary for Sterling High School from 1950-1951, waitress at Jack’s Drive In, Rodger’s Dry Goods, Glenn’s Dress Shop, secretary for Smith Bros. Fina Station, and retired from Ben Franklins. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sterling, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Verta loved spending time with Eddie, her children and grandchildren. On November 22, 1963, Verta was united in marriage with Everett “Ed” Smith in Hutchinson, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2020. She is also preceded in death by her parents; son, Lee Thompson; brother, Elvin Anderson; and sister, Betty Marsh; brother-in-law, Harold Marsh; and nephew, Mark Anderson. Donald Rex Clothier, 91, passed away on November 16, 2021 at Presbyterian Manor in Newton. Rex was born on March 26, 1930 on a farm North of Sylvia, to Perry and Connie (Book) Clothier. He attended grade school in Stafford, attended and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1948. He attended Hutchinson Community College before enlisting in the Air Force in 1951.

Rex attended basic training in Wichita Falls, Texas and was stationed at Lake Charles Air Force Base in Louisiana working on B-29 bombers that flew bombing missions from Korea to Okinawa. He was later stationed in Okinawa with the 307th Bomber Wing to work on aircraft that flew missions over Korea. He was also stationed in Goose Bay Labrador, Greenland and Saudi Arabia, returning to Lake Charles Air Force Base in 1955, where he was honorably discharged. In July 1955 he entered the Kansas Highway Patrol school on the University of Kansas Campus in Lawrence. Rex met Pat Lang while working as the Driver’s License Examiner for Sedgwick County and Pat was working for the Internal Revenue Service. They were united in marriage on January 12, 1957 at First United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas. They were married for 38 years and raised four children. Rex served on the patrol in Marion, Salina, Lyons, and Dodge City where he was promoted to Sergeant overseeing ten troopers. He retired in 1980 from the Patrol but continued to work. Rex worked for Farmland Insurance Company, was a Rural Mail Carrier in Dodge City and drove a school bus for Marion Unified School District. He spent many happy hours riding a lawn mower with his son, Greg. His wife Pat preceded him in death in 1995. Also preceding him were his parents, his brother, James, and his sister, Jeannette. He is survived by his four children: Belinda Amend and her husband, Doug, Hesston, Kansas; Brad Clothier and his wife, Karen, Scottsdale, Arizona; Lori Wilhelm and her husband, Richard, Lubbock, Texas; Greg Clothier and his wife, Denise, Wichita. His ten grandchildren: Amanda Harrison, and her husband, Cory, Moundridge; Derrick Amend and his fiancé, Sydney, Wichita; Sara Amend and her fiancé, Preston, Wichita, Kansas; Ashley Stevenson and her husband, Tyler, Wichita; Tyler Kirby and her husband, Chris, Wichita; Abby Clothier, Wichita; Chelsea Boatright and her husband, Clay, Aurora, Colorado; Amber Wilhelm, San Antonio, Texas; Brian Wilhelm and his wife Jade, Lubbock, Texas; Cody Wilhelm, Lubbock, Texas. He also has eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pratt - Arbey (A.J) John Keller, 93, passed away November 16, 2021. He was born March 16, 1928 in Sun City to Arbey J. and Susan (Farris) Keller. He graduated Sun City High School in 1946. He then went into the United States Army. He was discharged in 1956. Arbey married Marjorie (Peggy) Arlene Redwine on August 7, 1955. They were married for 61 years. She passed away June 6, 2016. He was a heavy equipment operator. He worked for Clark Oil Field Co. Clifford Keller Dirt Construction. He retired at 65 and ran the Road Grader for Elm Mills township until he was 79. He is survived by Son, John Robert Keller and wife Wynona Urban. Daughter, Susan Rachell Crotts; Brother, Clifford R. Keller, Pratt; Sister Carol Sue Blankship Pratt; granddaughter, Sarah Hamton, great grandchildren Jaden Crotts; Austin (AJ) Crotts; Asriel Hampton; Otto Hampton, Dawn Epp, Robert Urban and Joe Urban. Pratt - Arbey (A.J) John Keller, 93, passed away November 16, 2021. He was born March 16, 1928 in Sun City to Arbey J. and Susan (Farris) Keller. He graduated Sun City High School in 1946. He then went into the United States Army. He was discharged in 1956. Arbey married Marjorie (Peggy) Arlene Redwine on August 7, 1955. They were married for 61 years. She passed away June 6, 2016. He was a heavy equipment operator. He worked for Clark Oil Field Co. Clifford Keller Dirt Construction. He retired at 65 and ran the Road Grader for Elm Mills township until he was 79. He is survived by Son, John Robert Keller and wife Wynona Urban. Daughter, Susan Rachell Crotts; Brother, Clifford R. Daniel “Dan” Ray Barber, 40, passed away November 14, 2021, at his home in Newton, Kansas.

He was born December 24, 1980, in Cushing, Oklahoma, the son of Carl Ray Barber and Belinda Crumrine-Anderson. Dan attended Newton High School, graduating with the class of 98-99. He later attended Hutchinson Community College, receiving his associate degree in business management.

He was employed at Ember Hope in Newton as a supervisor. Dan was passionate about his work and loved having the opportunity to help kids.

Dan was a huge sports fan and supported the Lakers, Sooners, Yankees, and the Patriots. He dominated Madden on XBOX and Playstation. Dan was a huge WWE Wrestling fan, passing his love and knowledge of all things wrestling to his daughter, Tatum.

While he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, he loved even more being part of a team. Dan played almost every sport known to man and was currently a short stop on the Backdoor Sliders softball team, helping them win several tournaments and league championships.

Dan loved horror and comic-based movies, bright and bold fashion (especially shoes), and looking for any occasion to play music loudly. He was also very active in the community and looked for any way he could help or show support locally.

Dan was a son, brother, friend, and mentor, but most importantly – a father. Dan built his life around his daughter, Tatum, and was her biggest supporter and cheerleader. Anyone who knew Dan also knew who Tatum was, as he would constantly sing her praises.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Tatum Barber; mother and step-father, Belinda and Joe Anderson; brothers, Anthony Barber and Jeremy Barber; nieces, Katie and Kassie Barber; grandmother, Sally Montgomery; his work and softball family; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ray Barber; aunt, Sue Miller; and uncle, Bill Barber.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.. Following Dan’s wishes, a family graveside service will take place at a later date in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Robert was born on November 3, 1928, in Hillsboro, KS, the son of George K. and Susie (Loewen) Martens. He attended the Clark Elementary School in Inman. On February 17, 1952, Robert was united in marriage to Ruth Hiebert in Hillsboro, KS. She preceded him in death on July 9, 1974. On September 12, 1975, he married Betty Jane Giesel in Moundridge, KS. She passed away on April 3, 2018. He was a member of Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Inman, KS. Survivors include: a son, Duane (Gayla) Martens of Inman, KS; two daughters, Shirley Penner of Inman, KS and Connie (Kevin) Koehn of Mayfield, KY; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many extended family. Theolyn Ann (T-Ann) Kerschner, 89, of McPherson, Kansas entered Eternal Life on Monday, November 15, 2021. T-Ann was born in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of the late Ted and Ann Marie (Peterson) Wallerstedt, which were of Swedish heritage. When T-Ann was a young age, the family moved to McPherson. T-Ann attended Lincoln Elementary School, McPherson Middle School, and graduated from McPherson High School in 1950. In October 1952, T-Ann was united in marriage to Clifford H. “Cliff” Kerschner at Trinity Lutheran Church in McPherson. Cliff preceded her in death on March 26, 2012. T-Ann was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, singing in the Trinity Church Choir, working on quilts, and doing activities in the Fellowship Club. In addition to being active in her church, T-Ann worked many years in the public relations office at Bethany College and sang in the Messiah in Lindsborg. She and Cliff were active members of the American-Scandinavian Association. T-Ann was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, McPherson chapter. Survivors include: daughter, Tonya Kerschner of El Dorado, KS; son, Craig Kerschner of Pattaya, Thailand; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kerschner of Hutchinson, KS; nephews, Brian Ball, Darwin Ball, Kirby Kerschner, Larry Kerschner, Kent Kerschner, and Ralph Kerschner; nieces, Rondi Caywood, Rexanne Kerschner, Terri Grooms, and Carla Lowry; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sharon Patterson.&nbsp; &nbsp;Bud is survived by his siblings, Terry (Steve) Torres of Wichita, Kansas, Marilyn Patterson of Valley Center, Kansas, and Ricky (Audrey)&nbsp; Patterson of Cherryvale, Kansas;&nbsp; by his daughters, Mindy (Clayton) McPheeters of Wichita and Melanie (Mike) Kelley of Rogers, Arkansas. He very much enjoyed time with his grandchildren.

Bud had a 40-year career prior to his retirement as a mechanic at Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems. He had previously served the Valley Center Community as an EMS driver, City Council member and member of Jaycees club.&nbsp; His fondest memories were of his time as Valley Center’s Santa Clause whether on his sleigh or at Leekers, and spending Fall Festival with his grandchildren and other family members.

Albert’s life began on October 27, 1930, the son of David and Anna (Wyse) Ward in Potwin. He graduated from Potwin High Class of 1949 and served his country in the US Air Force from 1949-1956. He married Marianne Boller on October 25, 1959 in Farmington, New Mexico.

Albert was a machinist and tool inspector at Boeing. He enjoyed his family, camping, fishing, reading, traveling and golf.

His loving family includes his daughters, Suzanne Ward of Whitewater, Kay and her husband, Duane Keefover of Wichita; brother, Otis Ward of Dixon, Illinois; sister, Helen Schumacher of Bourbon, Missouri; grandchildren, Ryan Keefover (Katie), Ashley Keefover, Todd Keefover (Dessire); great-grandchildren, Judah and Aurrow.

Kent V. Merrifield of Herington was born on June 6, 1947 in Wichita, to Glen and Iris (Surtees) Merrifield. He graduated from Wichita South High School in 1965. He served his country as a radio repairman, carpentry specialist and a structural concrete worker in the Air Force from 1968-1971. He served in the Army as a tank mechanic and painter from 1971-1987 and then the Army National Guard from 1987-2007. He married Sandra Jean MacDonald on March 4, 1999 in Herington. He enjoyed woodworking, landscaping his yard and keeping his yard looking immaculate throughout the year. His loving family includes his wife, Sandra of the home; son, Shane MacDonald of Hillsboro; daughter, Shonna Llamas (Mario) of Newton; brothers, Mike Merrifield (Maryn) and Steve Merrifield, and a sister, Ann Johnson, all of Wichita; a granddaughter, Sadie MacDonald. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kent passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the age of 74 years old. The family will greet friends on Monday, November 24 from 10-11 a.m. at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herrington. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Military Honors at Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Jody Marie Dombaugh Miller, 88, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away peacefully at 11:01 a.m., Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 while in the company of family members at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. Jody was born in Coldwater, Kansas on April 28, 1933, the daughter of Fred Clifford and Myrtle Marie (Atteberry) Clinesmith. Jody attended the Coldwater elementary schools and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1951. She then attended the Pratt Community College, Pratt, Kansas for one year. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in McPherson. Jody enjoyed her dogs, camping and traveling in her motor home, cooking, music, music theater, she loved her church family and loved spending time with her friends and family. Jody was a homemaker. Prior to her retirement she was a secretary for Flory and Karstetter Law Office and later was a secretary for Prairie View Mental Health Center, McPherson, Kansas. Jody was united in marriage to Darrell Neil Dombaugh on May 17, 1953 at the Methodist Church, Coldwater, Kansas. Darrell died on December 19, 2002. Jody was then married to Merlin J. Miller on August 18, 2008 in McPherson, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, Merlin Miller, of McPherson, Kansas; her daughter Dalyn Cantrell and husband Mark, of McPherson, Kansas; her two grandchildren, Casey Cantrell, of Austin, Texas and Cristen Cantrell, of Seattle Washington; her step children, Cheri Hudson and husband Neal, of Wasso, California, Kevin Miller and husband Herb Acevedo, of Provincetown, Massachusetts and Diane Patton and husband Jim, of Maize, Kansas and her step grandchildren, Colby Patton, of Oxford, Kansas, Riley Patton and Cara Hudson, of McPherson, Kansas. Jody was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Clifford Clinesmith, her husband Darrell Dombaugh and her son David Dombaugh. A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas, with Reverends Emily Cannon and Chris Whitacre officiating. SYLVIA - Michael Edward Brennan, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, Oct 6, 2021 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS. He was born in New Orleans, LA., the son of Edward Francis Jr. and Billye (Harris) Brennan. As a kid, Michael loved BMX, football, track, making model airplanes and cars, and crabbing and fishing with his father. Michael graduated from Clark High School, Las Vegas, NV in 1983. He had an interest for aviation and airplanes. He worked for Hughes Aviation and then moved onto working for KB Homes in Las Vegas.

Michael became a resident of Kansas in 2008 to be closer to his mother, sisters and niece. He loved spending time with friends and family, and also giving on Christmas to his niece. He also enjoyed classic rock, playing guitar, history, watching the National Geographic channel, cooking, antiquing, collecting hot wheels among other things. He was very generous and funny and will be missed by many.  Michael is survived by his sisters, Mary Brennan, Las Vegas, NV, Cynthia (John) Castro, New York City, NY; and his niece Summer Brennan, Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

He was born on September 8, 1989 in Irvine, California to Steven Harold Potter and Kristine Louise (Robison) Potter. He was the son of Steven and Anissa Potter and Kristine and David Reese. Jeremy graduated from South High School in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He attended college in San Diego, California. He worked as a Sales District Leader with Pepsico. He was a coffee connoisseur and an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed watching movies, playing his drums and keyboard, golfing, Dave Ramsey, and maintaining his beard.
