Dale Eugene Robey, 77, died October 19, 2021, at his home in Conroe, Texas.

He was born October 30, 1943, in Kingman, Kansas, the son of Adin and Ida [Sinnett] Robey.

Born and raised in Kingman, he was a retired Construction Superintendent.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia [Roberts] Robey; daughters Debra Bolyard (Ed), Dianne Melton (Dan), Darlene Humiston (Tim) and [Donita] Kay [Mowery] Seufer (Ken); 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, a sister, Velda Hoober, and numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim and Dwaine Robey, a sister, Milla Ritchie as well as a granddaughter, Kathryn Mowery and a great grandson, Joey Melton.

Parish Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m, on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 with a memorial Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kingman.

Reva Nadine Goheen, 70, of Hutchinson, died October 26, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1950, in Hutchinson, to William and Lorene (Smith) Olson.

Reva graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1968 and attended Hutchison Community College. She was a homemaker. Reva enjoyed playing games of all kinds; from Yahtzee with her family, to bingo, to going to casinos.

On July 14, 1970, she married Laymond “Lewis” Goheen Jr., in Oklahoma City, OK. They shared 51 years of marriage. He survives.

Also surviving are: daughter, Deanna Mitchell and husband Joseph; sister, Delta Sullivan and husband Roger; and brother, Loren Olson, all of Hutchinson.

Reva was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wilda Miller.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Inurnment will take place in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday at Elliott Mortuary.

Vernon Schmidt, 75, passed away October 26, 2021 surrounded by family. Vernon was born December 12, 1945 to Jacob Schmidt Laura Schroeder Schmidt of Goessel. He was born on the family farmstead the oldest of four boys, Norman, DeWayne, and Larry. Vernon attended Goessel schools and graduated in 1963.

Vernon married Susan Hurst in 1967. They had three children, Elizabeth “Jane” Baker, Timothy Schmidt, and Amy Stiver. They later divorced.

Vernon began working at Hesston Corporation in the 1970’s. During this time he worked part-time as a police officer with Hesston Police Department. Vernon left Hesston Corp and went to work for the Harvey County Sheriff’s Department in the Jail. He became Jail Captain and assisted with the planning and building of the Harvey County Detention Center. Vernon retired in December 2011 after serving 25 years with Harvey County. He also could be found on Friday and Saturday nights working security at the old South Dillons. In his free time, Vernon enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, and KU basketball. He could also be seen driving around town with his Husky, Malakai.

Vernon is survived by two children, Tim Schmidt (Michelle) of Junction City, Amy Stiver (Brian) of Newton and Son-in-law Paul Baker of Newton; Grandchildren Jessica (Noah) Wuest, Jacob Raprager (Sarah Doody), Jayden Stiver, Matthew Baker all of Newton and Brian Baker of Austin Texas; Great grandson Parker Wuest; bonus daughter Shawn Wetschensky and grandson Keaton Wetschensky; brother Larry (Kela) Schmidt of Newton. He was proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dewayne and Norman and his daughter Elizabeth “Jane” Baker.

Douglas Leon Barnes, 67, of Hutchinson, departed from this life on October 23, 2021. He was born September 28, 1954, in Hutchinson, to Ivan and Glenda Barnes.

Doug graduated high school in Wellston, Oklahoma in 1973. Soon after he enlisted in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1977. Doug was honorably discharged and returned to Oklahoma and soon moved back to Kansas.

He married Debbie Loudenback and her son, Jeremy. From their union they had a daughter, Tanda and a son, Toby. Doug was blessed with two very special grandchildren, Payton and Parker Barnes. He also had two wonderful young girls, Kenzington and Carrington Newton and their great-grandmother, Charlene Mumford to fill his days with joy.

Doug worked at various jobs before going to work at Eaton Hydraulics in Hutchinson. After 35 years of service, he retired. He loved his family and riding his Harley. Both brought him joy and laughter. Doug was a fan of all motorcycle rallies and he loved traveling to Sturgis, South Dakota. Riding freed his mind and soul.

He is survived by: daughter, Tanda Barnes (Michael Wages), Hutchinson; son, Toby Barnes, Abbyville; son, Jeremy Stauffacher, Hutchinson; sister, Julie Davenport (Ronnie), Wellston, Oklahoma; mother, Glenda Forbes, Hutchinson; significant other, Charlene Mumford, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Payton and Parker Barnes, Owen Stauffacher; nieces and nephews, Ashley Swindell, Lucas Davenport, and Jesse Davenport; and bonus grandchildren, Kenzington and Carrington Newton.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Barnes.

Raymond was born in Ellsworth, Kansas on October 22, 1932, a son of Fred Eilrich and Wilhamina (Bohl) Eilrich. Ray attended the Ellsworth schools in Ellsworth, Kansas. He was a member of Countryside Covenant Church in McPherson. He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. Ray was a farmer, worked for the State of Kansas in the Department of Transportation Road Maintenance, and worked for Walmart as an Assembler. Ray enjoyed talking, telling stories, baking treats for his grandkids and spending time with his friends and family. Raymond was united in marriage to Wilma Ruth Lee on June 19, 1976 at Lorraine, Kansas. This union was blessed with the birth of a son Steven. She died on August 23, 2002. He is survived by his son, Son Steven Eilrich and his wife Tiffani Eilrich, of McPherson, Kansas; his siblings, Neita Brisco, of Lincon County, Kansas, and Marie Woodmanse, of Ellsworth, Kansas. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren, Reanna Rose Eilrich and Hunter Ray Eirich, both of McPherson, Kansas and his special friend Rita VonFeldt. Evelyn Irene Burbank Leak passed from this life at the age of 101, on October 20, 2021, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She and her husband Charley were life-long residents of Pratt County, until they moved to Stillwater in 2013 to be close to their daughter, Barbara Brock. Her husband of 75 years, Charley G. Leak, preceded her in death, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her parents Ray and Alice Burbank, one brother, Roy Burbank and one sister, Lila Mae Burbank Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Taylor and husband James of Leakey, Texas, and Barbara Brock and husband Pat of Stillwater, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Brian Taylor and wife Viki of San Antonio, Texas, Jeff Koeninger and wife Stephanie of Keller, Texas, and Jason Koeninger and wife Shannon of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Six great grandchildren, Amy Taylor of Dallas, Texas and Austin Taylor of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jake and Cole Koeninger of Keller, and Quentin and Violet Koeninger of Tulsa also survive her, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was born in Pratt on April 17, 1920, to Roy and Alice Harrell Burbank. She graduated from Pratt High School and worked at Penney’s Department Store in Pratt before and for a short time after her marriage to Charley on August 27, 1939. She was office manager and bookkeeper for Doskocil’s from 1957 to 1974. Following her work in town, Evelyn helped Charley with farming until he retired in 1998. They built a house and moved from the farm into Pratt in the spring of 1984. She was an active member of the Pratt Church of Christ, serving in many roles, including the Clothing Room and providing meals for funerals and the sick. Evelyn and Charley delivered “Meals on Wheels” for many years. She and Charley enjoyed traveling with their RV and spent many winters in South Texas. During her years at the Christian Villa in Stillwater, she was known for sending birthday cards, encouragement, and sympathy cards to the residents of the Villa and to the many friends she made at church. She always sent birthday cards to family members, including grandsons and spouses, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Church of Christ Pratt. Pastor John Hamm officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. There will be no Visitation.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Mary Louise Kile (95) passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.&nbsp; She was born March 30, 1926 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Victoria McMahan and T.O. Young.&nbsp;

She was a resident of Valley Center since 2002 and of Lyons, from 1962-2002.&nbsp; She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and was a master at crossword puzzles.&nbsp;

On November 15, 1945, she married G.B. Kile in Wickenburg, Arizona.&nbsp; He preceded her in death November 17, 2001.&nbsp;

She was a long time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Newton.&nbsp; In 1970 Jeanette alongside her husband formed Boston Insurance in Newton.&nbsp; Her pride and joy was her family, and she looked forward to watching her kids and grandkids sporting events and spending time with them during special events and holidays.

&nbsp;John Rolland Christenson, 95, of Lindsborg, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Bethany Home. Rolland was born on January 17, 1926 in McPherson County, to Elmer Lawrence and Mathilda Sophia (Carlson) Christenson. He married Aileen Gene Anderson on December 28, 1947 in Marquette.

Rolland was a parish pastor for 36 years, serving churches in Vilas and Chanute,&nbsp; and Marshalltown, Urbandale, and Davenport, Iowa. Following his retirement, he continued to serve for another 17 years as interim pastor and chaplain for multiple churches and institutions in Iowa and Kansas. His military service included 2 years of active duty with the US Navy and 18 years with the US Air Force as chaplain in the Iowa Air National Guard.

Rolland was active in the communities of the parishes he served, contributing his time and talents to various organizations and institutions, including senior housing in the Quad Cities (Luther Manor of Scott County, Inc. and Luther Acres, Inc.), and Bethany College in Lindsborg. He was the author of several devotional books and books on family history. He enjoyed working with wood, photography, and being outdoors.

Rolland was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters Eunice Marie Hoffhines and Betty Margaret Slater, and brother Amos Lawrence Christenson. He is survived by his children, Richard Roland (Margaret) Christenson, Stuart Eugene (Cynthia) Christenson, and Gayle Aileen (Eric) Unruh; sister-in-law, Erma Maxine Roberts; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, November 1 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg. Allen attended Inman High School and Hutchinson Community Junior College.&nbsp; He retired from Kansas Gas Service, after 33 years of service.&nbsp; Allen was a former trustee at First Mennonite Church, Hutchinson, and currently was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

On April 8, 1951, he married Sophie Gaeddert, at Buhler Hebron Mennonite Church. She died May 19, 1994, after sharing 43 years of marriage.&nbsp; On October 18, 1997, he married LaVaughn (Young) Theede.&nbsp;

Allen is survived by:&nbsp; his wife of 24 years, LaVaughn Thiessen of Hutchinson; daughters, Kristine Seck (Richard) of Hutchinson, Keri Thiessen of Dyer, IN, and Jenifer Wolff (Brett); granddaughter, Sophie Ana Wolff, all of Oswego, IL; stepsons, Steve Theede (Kay) of Houston, TX, Roger Theede (Cathy) of Nickerson, and Mitch Theede (Jay) of Columbia, MO; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

D. Wayne Chartier, 90, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 7:35 a.m., Sunday, October 24th, 2021 at Cedars House, McPherson, Kansas.

Wayne was born in Concordia, Kansas on September 24, 1931, a son of Lenora Maxine (Layton) and Louie A. Chartier.

Wayne attended the Districts 19 and 11 country schools, Lincoln grade school, and graduated in 1949 from Concordia High School, all of Concordia, Kansas.

Wayne was united in marriage to Carolee Anne Russell on June 12, 1952 at the Canton Methodist Church, Canton, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in Herington, Kansas. This union was blessed with the birth of three sons, David, Greg, and Kevin. During the Korean War Carolee moved back to Hope, Kansas until Wayne's honorable discharge when the family moved to Salina, Kansas. On December 4, 1954 they moved to McPherson and have lived here since that time.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church McPherson, where Wayne was a member of the United Methodist Men, was head usher, and served his church in many capacities through the years.

Wayne honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Through the years, Wayne worked as a carpenter for Burk Construction, worked for the McPherson Sentinel as a compositor and was a production supervisor for Johns Manville, all of McPherson.

Wayne was a member of the American Legion Post 24, McPherson, Kansas, was a Cub Scout Leader for Pack 117 and Boy Scout Leader for Troop 117, McPherson Opera House Company where he served as a showtime volunteer. He coached little league baseball for many years. Wayne enjoyed, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 69 years Carolee Chartier, of McPherson, Kansas; his sons, David Chartier and wife Kathy of McPherson, Kansas; Greg Chartier and wife Barbara of Apex, North Carolina, Kevin Chartier and wife Elizabeth Mason of Sheridan, Wyoming; his sister, Arlene Grame and husband Richard of Cummings, Kansas; his eight grandchildren, Anne Zeka and husband Colby, of Wellington, Kansas, Lisa Patterson and husband Kiley, of Lawrence, Kansas, Mason Chartier, of Apex, North Carolina, Miranda Chartier, of Apex, North Carolina, Tristan Chartier, of Sheridan, Wyoming, Ethan Chartier, of Sheridan, Wyoming, Alyssa Duba, of Lander, Wyoming and Anya Gue, of Missoula, Montana; his six great-grandchildren - Ali Zeka, Brittan Zeka, Dru Zeka, Asher Patterson, Eva Patterson and Rana Duba; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; his four brothers, Norman, Richard, Dale and Lynn Chartier.

Janice Cozart, 81, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge.&nbsp; She was born September 21, 1940, at Leola, South Dakota, the daughter of Albert and Edna (Lechner) Morrison.

Janice graduated from High School in Aberdeen, SD.&nbsp;

She was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Cozart on June 12, 1960.&nbsp; They shared 58 years of marriage.&nbsp; He passed away on July 15, 2018.

Janice was a member of United Methodist Church of Moundridge.&nbsp; She loved reading, knitting and sewing.

Janice is survived by her two sons, Kenneth and his wife Ruth of Honey Creek, IA, Craig and his wife Michele of Olathe; brother, Dale Morrison (Nancy), Sheridan, WY; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Richard Wilber.

Jody Marie Dombaugh Miller, 88, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away peacefully at 11:01 a.m., Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 while in the company of family members at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Jody was born in Coldwater, Kansas on April 28, 1933, the daughter of Fred Clifford and Myrtle Marie (Atteberry) Clinesmith.

Jody attended the Coldwater elementary schools and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1951. She then attended the Pratt Community College, Pratt, Kansas for one year.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in McPherson.

Jody enjoyed her dogs, camping and traveling in her motor home, cooking, music, music theater, she loved her church family and loved spending time with her friends and family.

Jody was a homemaker. Prior to her retirement she was a secretary for Flory and Karstetter Law Office and later was a secretary for Prairie View Mental Health Center, McPherson, Kansas.

Jody was united in marriage to Darrell Neil Dombaugh on May 17, 1953 at the Methodist Church, Coldwater, Kansas. Darrell died on December 19, 2002. Jody was then married to Merlin J. Miller on August 18, 2008 in McPherson, Kansas.

She is survived by her husband, Merlin Miller, of McPherson, Kansas; her daughter Dalyn Cantrell and husband Mark, of McPherson, Kansas; her step children, Cheri Hudson and husband Neal, of Wasso, California, Kevin Miller and husband Herb Acevedo, of Provincetown, Massachusetts and Diane Patton and husband Jim, of Maize, Kansas. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Casey Cantrell and Cristen Cantrell, of McPherson, Kansas and her step grandchildren, Colby Patton, of Oxford, Kansas, Riley Patton and Cara Hudson, of McPherson, Kansas.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Clifford Clinesmith, her husband Darrell Dombaugh and her son David Dombaugh.

A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas, with Reverends Emily Cannon and Chris Whitacre officiating.

Wayne Royce Schoonover, 86, of Lyons, Kansas, passed away on October 22, 2021, at Hospital District #1 of Rice County, Lyons. 

He was born August 23, 1935, in Lyons, Kansas, the son of Earl C. and Clara L. Ball Schoonover. Wayne was a lifetime Rice County resident. He graduated from Lyons High School with the class of 1953. Wayne was a retired farmer. He served in the United State Army from 1958 until 1962. Wayne was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons, member of the Lyons Town and Country Club, and past treasurer of Eureka Township. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, watching all sports, and most of all spending time with his family. On July 28, 1956, Wayne was united in marriage with Mary Louise Pollard in Lyons. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2018. He is also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herb Schoonover; and sister, Marilyn Cobb. Wayne is survived by his three children, Doug Schoonover and wife Chris of Houston, TX, Lori Farmer and husband Dale of Claflin, KS; and Ron Schoonover and significant other Debbie of Bushton, KS; sister, Connie Skiles of Richmond, KY; sister-in-law, Darlus Schoonover of Arlington, TX; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne David King, 90, of Hesston, Kansas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

He was born September 6, 1931, in Harper, Kansas, to Henry J. and Anna L. (Hartzler) King.

Wayne married Clara Mast on July 2, 1954, in Arthur, Illinois.

He was a retired pastor, serving Mennonite congregations in Illinois, Ohio, and New York.

He is survived by his wife, Clara King of Hesston; daughter, Carol Erion and her husband Donald of Old Monroe, Missouri; son, Gordon King and his wife, Christine of Brunswick, Ohio; son, Ronald King of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Lynne Smith and her husband Bradley of Gilbert Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Wayne David King |1931-2021|

On January 27, 1930, Gottfried and Martha Laubhan welcomed their fourth child, Wilma Ann, into the world.  Wilma joined her big brother Wilbur and older sisters Naomi and Norma in a small rural home in Durham, Kansas.

Wilma attended Marion and Peabody public schools through age seventeen when she married Melvin Peters in Marion, Kansas in June 1947. A year later, Wilma and Melvin surprised their family with not just one little boy, but two when they brought home their twins Don and Ron. A third son, Larry, joined the family in 1951, and five years later, they added their little girl, Joyce. Wilma and Melvin made their lives through farming and raised countless heads of cattle, sheep, and pigs over the years.  Wilma had a way with sick animals – often nursing young lambs, calves and pigs back to life during frigid Kansas winters.  In 1970, Wilma and Melvin achieved their lifelong dream of building a home on their farm outside of Newton.

Wilma began working as a CNA in 1972, a few years later, at age 46, she went back to school to earn her GED. She went on to nursing school at McPherson School of Practical Nursing, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1978. Wilma often described this achievement as one of her most proud, but hardest moments, as while she was in her final classes, her mother passed away.  Wilma was employed at Wheat State Manor and Bethel Deaconess Hospital before working at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita on the cancer unit for more than 10 years, retiring in 1998.

She may best be remembered by her grandchildren for her barn full of cats – all of whom would come running during the early evening chores, her banana malts, eating meals in her kitchen, helping her in the garden, teaching them how to play carroms, care for animals and assisting in naming the newborn animals.  On Sundays she often put together a full meal for family and/or friends who happened to stay over the noon or dinner hours. She was known for her mashed potatoes and hamburger gravy, her ham loaf with spicy mustard, “the pink stuff,” and her angel food cake.  Her dogs became even more important companions after Melvin passed away and her sweet Pepper stayed by her side until she was admitted to the hospital.

Wilma went to live with her heavenly father on Thursday, October 21, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Gottfried and Martha Laubhan, siblings Wilbur Laubhan, Norma Winter, and Naomi Haas, husband Melvin Peters, son Larry Peters, and grandson Dustin Demo. She is survived by sons Don (Freddie) Peters, Newton, KS and Ron (Faye) Peters, Latham, KS, daughter Joyce (Dan) Demo, El Dorado, KS, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Wilma is Sunday, October 24, 2021, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and the service is on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. both at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, KS. Gene L. Goucher, 63, of Galva, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Newton Medical Center, Newton, Kansas.&nbsp; He was born September 2, 1958 in McMinnville, Oregon, the son of Tom G. and Mary Lou (Shearon) Goucher.

He operated Gene’s Mower Service.&nbsp; Gene was a truck driver and was the owner and operator of G &amp; R Trucking of Galva.&nbsp; He was a member of Lone Tree Mennonite Church in Galva.

Gene was united in marriage to Ruby Becker on June 12, 1977 at Lone Tree Church in Galva. She survives.

He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lou Goucher of Galva; daughters, Robin Unruh (Jed) of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Julie Goucher of Galva, and Tammy Ratzlaff (Tim) of Moundridge; &nbsp;brothers, Ed Goucher (Brenda) of Texhoma, Oklahoma, and Jesse Goucher (Carolyn) of Murray, Kentucky; and eight grandchildren.

Gene was preceded in death by his father; infant son, Wendell Goucher; and father and mother-in-law, Jake and Julia (Koehn) Becker.

Gene L. Goucher, 63, of Galva, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Newton Medical Center, Newton, Kansas.&nbsp; He was born September 2, 1958 in McMinnville, Oregon, the son of Tom G. and Mary Lou (Shearon) Goucher.He operated Gene’s Mower Service.&nbsp; Gene was a truck driver and was the owner and operator of G &amp; R Trucking of Galva.&nbsp; He was a member of Lone Tree Mennonite Church in Galva.Gene was united in marriage to Ruby Becker on June 12, 1977 at Lone Tree Church in Galva. Carolyn F. Yost, 74, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at her home.&nbsp; She was born July 20, 1947, in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse C. and Frances (Yost) Schmidt.

She was a member of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite of Hesston.

Carolyn was united in marriage to David L. Yost on December 7, 1969 at Montezuma, Kansas.&nbsp; He survives of the home.

Carolyn is survived by her four daughters, Loretta Jarvis of Salina, KS, Sherri Martin (Sylvan) of Tonasket, WA, Becky Martin (Dani) of Dardanelle, AR, and Trish Nichols of Montezuma, KS; five brothers, Elwin Schmidt (Priscilla), Laurel Schmidt (Carolyn), Kenneth Schmidt (Anita), Robert Schmidt (Ardith) and David Schmidt (Virginia); sister, Ruth Toews (Walter); brother-in-law, Rodney Koehn; brothers-in-law, Darrel Yost (Helen) and John Yost (Carol); sister-in-law, Marlene Nightingale (Dennis); 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene Koehn; son-in-law, Brett Nichols; and two grandchildren, Gregory Martin and Christina Martin.

PLEVNA – John L. Hall, 76, passed away Oct 18th, 2021 at Hospice House in Hutchinson.&nbsp;&nbsp;Born John Luther Hall on September 20, 1945 at Elkhart, Kansas. He was the son of James A. and Madge R. (Holcomb) Hall. He was the youngest of 12 children. On February 1, 1964 he married &nbsp;Ramona C. Ratcliffe at Sylvia.&nbsp;

He is survived by three children; Doug Hall, Lori Pike &amp; Jim (Patricia) Hall all of Plevna. Two brothers; Bud Hall of Guymon, Oklahoma &amp; Gene Hall of Hutchinson.&nbsp; Two sisters; Mary Andsager of Sun City, Az. &amp; Carol Hall of Wichita, Ks.

Seven grandchildren; Audra Hall, Brian Graham, Baylie Graham &amp; Madison Hall of Hutchinson, Ethan Hall, Gabrielle Pike of Plevna, Braden Hall of Leander, Tx.

Six great grandchildren; Anthony, Avyonna, Aalexia, Gunnar, Kyson &amp; Sage. He was preceded in death by his parents &amp; his wife, Ramona. Five brothers; Victor, Carl, Dick, Max &amp; Marvin, Two sisters; Claudia &amp; Phyllis.

He worked various places throughout his life but is best known for working on the farm&nbsp;and putting up hay.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22 at Minnis&nbsp;Chapel, Stafford. Burial will follow at the Sylvia Cemetery. Visitation will be&nbsp;Thursday 1-6 p.m. with the family receiving friends 4-6 p.m. at Minnis Chapel, Stafford.
