Rosezetta “Rosie” Hathaway, born October 23, 1934, entered her heavenly home on December 24, 2021. She was born the daughter of Walter C. and Martha Welsch Foss in Kinsley. Rosie married David D. Hathaway in Kinsley on August 13, 1951.
She is survived by her children, Donald (Carolyn) Hathaway; Stafford, Karen (Gerald) Sweeden, Hutchinson; Polly (Doug) Withroder, Arlington; and LeEtta (Nathan) Mourn, Hutchinson.
Rosie and David have 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband David on December 27, 2020; her parents; a sister Mary Huckerdee; and two brothers; Keith and Kenneth Foss.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Riverside Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park. A luncheon will be served following the graveside service at the church.
