Dianne Elizabeth Eells |1967-2021|

Dianne Elizabeth Eells, 54, passed away December 19, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.  She was born November 20, 1967, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Thomas S. and Virginia L. (Karohl) Hymer. 

Dianne was a graduate of Salina Central High School, Salina, and McPherson School of Nursing, McPherson.  She worked as a nurse at The Hutchinson Clinic for 23 years. Her unique ability to understand and care for people naturally translated into her position as human resource coordinator at Collins Bus. Dianne’s giant heart and fun, loving spirit drew people to her with her unconditional love. Her home was always open and full of friends and family. Dianne impacted so many with her kind heart and genuine unselfishness. An amazing mother, daughter and sister. A friend to so many. It seems everyone has a Dianne story that ends with laughter. 

She is survived by:  her children, Azarah (Michael Biery) Eells of Hutchinson, Allison Eells of Emporia, and Jacobsen Eells of Lawrence; parents, Thomas and Virginia Hymer of Hutchinson; brother, David (Wendy) Hymer of Overland Park; uncle, Richard (Diane) Karohl of San Antonio, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; dog, Addy; and cat, Dickies.

Dianne was preceded in death by:  her paternal grandparents, Glenn and Wilma Hymer; maternal grandparents, Edward and Irma Karohl; paternal aunt and uncle, Harvey and Beatrice Hymer.

Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County or Hospice House, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
