Lois Jean Grauman Reimer was born April 26, 1933 in a farmhouse near Harvey, North Dakota. Lois graduated from Harvey High School in 1951 and began attending Tabor College in Hillsboro, the following Fall.&nbsp; At Tabor, she met Roland Reimer.

Roland and Lois were married at the Harvey North Dakota Mennonite Brethren Church August 22, 1953.&nbsp; Lois was a devoted wife to her husband in his role as a minister in churches in Topeka; Denver, Colorado; and Wichita.

Lois supported Roland as he completed college in Hillsboro, &nbsp;graduate studies in Fresno California and doctoral studies in Pasadena California. Throughout her professional life, Lois was employed and worked administratively in Medical Records, as a Secretary/Receptionist, and as a Human Resource assistant.

Lois was the mother of two children, and grandmother of five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Emma (Seibel) Grauman, one sister, two brothers, three half brothers, and husband, Roland.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Karen Reimer of Overland Park; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sandra Reimer of Visalia California; granddaughters, Elizabeth (Ryan) Parks, Rebekah (Brad) Kingsley; &nbsp;grandsons, Michael (D’Ann), Daniel (Tom) and David J Reimer.&nbsp; In addition, great grandchildren, Brandon, Collin, and Logan Parks, William and Anna Grace Kingsley, and Aaron Reimer; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Lois passed away at Schowalter Villa February 23, 2022 following a brief illness.&nbsp; A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Buhler Municipal Cemetery.&nbsp; A memorial gathering is being planned.&nbsp; Details are pending.&nbsp;

Rodney “Rod” C. Stevens, 66, died on February 16, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 15, 1955, in Osceola, Iowa, the son of Howard and Elvora (Lemmon) Stevens. The family moved to Kansas in the spring of 1966.

For many years Rod worked in mobile home manufacturing, construction, welding, and as an ironworker.

Rod enjoyed just about anything involving family and friends. Whether it was horseshoes, dominoes, going to the casino, riding his motorcycle, Walnut Valley festivals, shooting guns, or wrenching on anything with a motor.

Rod is survived by his sister, Alora Stevens Finch of Halstead; sister Nanette (Tom) Forrester, of rural Hillsboro; brother, Randy of Hutchinson; sister, Marla Dent of Halstead; and many nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. A visitation will be the evening prior on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Lucille C. “Lupe” Agoitia, 90, died February 20, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village. She was born September 8, 1931, in Hutchinson, to Marcelino A. and Guadalupe (Raya) Piña.

Lupe grew up in Hutchinson and was primarily a homemaker. She was an avid reader and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar Society. Lupe was also a member of GI Forum Auxiliary.

She is survived by: daughter, Carolyn Colvin (A.R.) of Hutchinson; son, Eric Agoitia (Veronica) of Wichita; grandchildren, Ryan Colvin, Samuel Agoitia, Courteney Kelsey (Jerry), Michael Colvin, Marcus Agoitia, Sophia Agoitia, Isaiah Agoitia, Leonardo Agoitia, Sebastian Agoitia; great-grandchildren, Oso Agoitia, Nox Kelsey; sister, Elisa Rodriguez (Anastacio) of Hutchinson; brother, Eddie Piña (Lori) of Rapid City, SD; and many nieces and nephews.

the son of Donald V. and Alice (Hardwood) Mackey. 
 
Daniel graduated from Croton-Harmon High School in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was a self-employed carpenter.&nbsp;&nbsp; On May 27, 1989, he married Ana Gonzalez in Ossining,
NY.&nbsp; On their 25th anniversary, they renewed their vows in
Wichita, KS. Daniel was a family man. &nbsp;His
absence will be a great void in all his loved ones lives, however Daniel’s
memory will live on with each of them with wonderful memories and the stories
they will share with their children and grandchildren.&nbsp; Daniel certainly left a legacy of love.&nbsp; He found great joy in helping the homeless,
whether it was spreading the word of God or serving food at the Soup Kitchen.&nbsp; He loved to pray, read and go on walks.

Daniel Charles Mackey  |1958-2022| 

Betty June Oller, 91, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at The Retreat at Church Ranch in Westminster, Colorado. She was born on June 14, 1930 in Dodge City, to John and Esther (Reimen) Randle. June married Billy Dean Oller on June 1, 1952 at Pleasant Plains Friends Church in Byers.

As a child she was a member of Pleasant Plains Friends Church. Betty earned her nursing diploma from St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita. She worked as a surgical nurse in Pratt, until having her first child. Betty moved with her husband and daughter to Denver, Colorado shortly before having her son. After her children were in school, she returned to work in a nursing home as a registered nurse. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and later, Calvary Temple in Denver, Colorado. She enjoyed gardening, especially her roses, playing card games, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Nannette Sloan of Firestone, Colorado and Paul (Becky) Oller of Hays; grandchildren, Scott (Aryn) Sloan of Erie, Colorado; Shaun Sloan of Mead, Colorado; Kate (Urie) VonFeldt of Firestone, Colorado; Jena (David) Stunkel of Lenexa; Briana (Michael) Towner of Redmond, Oregon and 12 great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Oller; parents; son-in-law, Roger Sloan; brothers, Wayne Gordon Randle and William Eugene Randle; and sister, Doris Pinkerton.

Rodney A. Heath 62, died Monday, February 21, 2022 at his Goessel residence.&nbsp; He was born June 15, 1959 in Newton, to Joe C. and Elizabeth (Erwin).&nbsp; On May 7, 1983 he married Virginia Foiles in Newton, Kansas and she survives of the home.

Rodney worked as a welder at Excel Industries in Hesston.&nbsp; Some of Rodney’s interest included antique Ford Pickups, Tractors and his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.&nbsp; He also enjoyed participating in the Goessel Threshing Days and was a member of Wheat Co. His greatest joy was his family. He looked forward to fishing trips at Harvey County East Lake and Maxwell Lake.&nbsp; In his younger years he camped with his family.&nbsp; He will be remembered as a loving Husband and Father and he had a special love for his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Virginia, 6 sons Ron Heath, Brian (Nanci) Heath, Scott (Wendy) Tingen, Ricky (Laree) Tingen, Mark (Spring) Tingen and Bobby and (Ingrid) Tingen; one daughter Jennifer Lyn (Chris) Phillips; one brother Elmer (Deidre) Heath; one sister Neva (Wayne) Kreutziger; brothers in law Ron (Judy) Foiles and Bob Foiles and sister in law Opal Queen. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Rodney is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Bonham and Joe Heath and his Brother and sister in law Harland and Goldie Fosket.

A graveside committal service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday February 28, 2022 at Sunnydale Park Cemetery in Rural Sedgwick County. A gathering and visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday February 27th at the Petersen Funeral Home.

Melvin “Bud” Leonard Snyder, Jr., 65, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2022, surrounded by family at McPherson Hospital.&nbsp; He retired from the NCRA Refinery and had also worked at Kit Road Ranger and Blackstone Drilling.&nbsp; This past year, he was a camp host at Kanopolis Reservoir.

Melvin was born on October 17, 1956, in Long Beach, CA, the son of Melvin Leonard Snyder, Sr. and Darlene (Weaver) Snyder.&nbsp; On November 9, 2018, Bud was united in marriage to Carol Sue Burch in McPherson, KS.&nbsp;

He was a member of McPherson Lodge #172 AF &amp; AM.

Bud was a hard worker and had many enjoyments in life. Some of those included camping, hunting, fishing, and coin collecting.&nbsp; However, what he enjoyed most was spending time with family.&nbsp; He was an avid NASCAR and football fan. He was one who never knew a stranger and valued times spent with friends.&nbsp;

Survivors include: his loving wife, Carol of the home; daughters, Bre Farley (Shawn) of McPherson, and Brenda Hall (Chad Schlicht) of McPherson; step-daughter, Michelle Burch (Lucious Bush)of Inman; step-son, Brandon Burch (Melody) of McPherson; a sister, Renee “Jan” Delmotte (Del) of Denver, CO; 11 grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

On October 21, 1978, Frank married Debra Dee Christian, in Hutchinson. Frank was a maintenance mechanic for Tyson, Krause Plow and several other manufacturing companies. He graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, CO, in 1968. He enjoyed bowling, and the Denver Broncos. He loved spending time with his grandkids and doing Sunday dinners with his family.

Leon graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1963, and went on to join the United States Navy. He worked for Dillons for 13 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was employed by the United States Postal Service for 30 years and was a member of the National Association for Letter Carriers for 40 years. Leon loved sports and was a fan of the Royals, Chiefs, Jayhawks, and even the Wildcats. He loved lottery tickets and to play bingo.&nbsp;

On December 13, 1964, he married Laura Fae Lightner in Hutchinson. They shared 57 years together.

Leon is survived by: wife, Laura Shuff; daughters, Alicia Shuff, Michelle Morris (Jesse), Shawna Conrad; son, Shannon Shuff; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Tara Morris, Kayla and Kelcie Shuff, Alexis Bryant (Elijah), Alyssa and Allyson Conrad; great-grandson, Cyrus Bryant, all of Hutchinson;&nbsp;&nbsp;numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and his dog and buddy, Sophia.

Paul Ellis Kemp, 81, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022, surrounded by his family.&nbsp; Born on September 15, 1940, in Kingman, KS, he graduated from Kingman High School before earning a degree from Hutchinson Community College and attending Bethel College.&nbsp; On August 28, 1960, he married Edna Ruth Schwartz at First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie where he was a long-time member.&nbsp;

Early in life, Paul developed a zest for the outdoors, which carried over into his adult years.&nbsp; His tales of youthful escapades trapping, fishing, and hunting kept his family entertained for years.&nbsp; Frog hunting with his father and sons was a favorite activity.

Paul worked for many years at Cessna Fluid Power in Hutchinson, followed by a later career farming and ranching near Pretty Prairie.&nbsp; Paul and Edna Ruth ran Kemp Family Farm which has been in the family since 1884, and he especially enjoyed working with his cow/calf herd.&nbsp; Paul also served as Transportation Director for USD 311 in Pretty Prairie and had a major impact on the lives of students and young people who met him.

Paul was an avid collector of antique oil lamps, bells, and other treasures he and Edna Ruth unearthed at estate and garage sales.&nbsp; His good humor and joke-telling were his calling cards with family and friends.

His greatest pride was family, and in later years he took particular pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.&nbsp; Paul called many lively Bingo games around the Kemp farm dining room table on holidays.

Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years Edna Ruth; sons Todd (Jean), Tim (Deb), and Chris (Kim); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Hilia Kemp; sisters Juanita Henning and Betty White; and brother Calvin Joe Kemp.

For 102 years the people who knew and loved her were blessed by Mabel’s presence on this earth. Mabel Erline Patterson passed from this life on February 17, 2022 in Kearney with family by her side. Private family graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Mabel was born at her parent’s home in Florence, on May 13, 1919 and was the first child of Elmer and Irene (Bowlby) Johnson. Her siblings were LaVere and Jim. She spent her early life in the small town of Florence, graduating from Florence High School in 1937 where she was part of the “Wicked Five” a group of fun-loving girls known for their youthful antics. She married John Martin in a double wedding ceremony with good friends Charles (Chuck) and Lenora (Pankratz) Graham on September 30, 1939 in Florence. In the spring of 1940 John was killed in a car accident and the following October their son John was born. In Florence she served the Methodist Church as treasurer, worked at Kansas Power and Light company and worked in her parent’s business, Johnson’s Variety Store. She also worked for a short time as a “parts runner” at the Great Bend, Kansas Army Airfield during World War II. On April 14, 1946, she married James Howard (Pat) Patterson who was a widower with a young son, James (Jim) Jr. The family made their home in Arkansas City, moving to El Dorado, in the late 1940s. Their daughter, Barbara Jean was born there. Pat worked as an auto parts man at Barnes Motor and later as the Auto Parts Manager for McClure Motor Company. Mabel was a homemaker and worked at the El Dorado High School cafeteria and sold Avon. In 1974 they moved to Great Bend, Kansas, where Pat worked for Standish Ford. He passed away in 1984. Mabel moved to Fremont, Nebraska in 1986 to help her daughter and son-in-law with their children which included newborn twins. In 1987 she moved to Kearney when Jean’s family moved there. Mabel was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and cook. She was well known for her chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, sweet pickles and pickle relish. She volunteered in each church she was a member of and you could always find her in the kitchen helping prepare for wedding receptions, church potlucks, funeral dinners, etc. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and volunteered many hours for legion activities including cemetery flag placement. She and Pat loved camping and spent many happy days with friends who enjoyed the same - Kenneth &amp; Frances Hurd, Abe &amp; Zena Martin, Elmer &amp; Norma Davis, Noel &amp; Martha Talkington and many others. She and Pat were members of the Bluestem Campers and Good Sam camping clubs. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was very independent and wanted to do for herself as much as possible. She was always concerned for her family and other people and tried to help wherever and whenever she could. She lived on her own until breaking a hip in April, 2018. In July, 2018 she moved to Homestead Assisted Living and after breaking the other hip in November, 2018 she moved to Mother Hull Home where she was lovingly cared for. She celebrated her 100th birthday at Mother Hull Home with friends and family in May, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, her brother and sister, her son, Jim; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Patterson. Survivors include children: John L. She is survived by her devoted son, Gary Christensen and his wife, Jayne, of Topeka; her sister, Dorothy Keevert of Elk City, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Beulah Stover Robbins; her husband, William “Bill”Christensen; brothers, Earl Robbins and Vernon Robbins; and sisters, Wanda Green and Rita Whitfield.

Sue loved Barber County, Kansas, where she grew up on a horse farm near Lake City. She attended elementary school taught by her mother in a one room schoolhouse near Lake City. She graduated at the top of her class from Pratt High School in 1944. Sue loved being outdoors with her horse, Flash. An excellent rider, she competed in barrel racing competitions, once winning the top prize of a saddle. After high School she began working for KP&amp;L, and after 44 years of service to that company, retired in 1988.

In 1946, Sue married William Christensen and they welcomed their son, Gary, in 1954. Bill, Sue and Gary traveled the western United States in the summers, camping, fishing and sightseeing. Many happy years were spent as members of the Pratt Fire Lighters Camping Club and the Pratt Promenaders square dancing club. 

After Sue retired, she and Bill spent winters in Rockport, Texas, with Pratt friends, and the summers were spent RVing across the US and Canada. Gary and Jayne would join them for great weekends of boating and fishing and grilling the catch of the day.

Sue was an active, lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Pratt. In 2015, Sue moved to Presbyterian Manor in Topeka, to be near Gary and Jayne. She leaves many new friends who will miss her kind nature and sweet smile.

Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene in Topeka, with a 1:00 pm graveside service Wednesday February 23, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in McPherson. Through the years Robin worked as a truck driver for 12 years, a mechanic for 25 years for Moody Oil and Becker Tire, McPherson, and McPherson Backhoe as a Line Locator, Conway. Robin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, his dogs, woodworking, gardening, his jeep, loved mowing his yard and spending time with his friends and family. Robin Fickes was united in marriage to Jolene Diane Holmes on April 21, 1978 in Clay Center. The young couple established their first home together in Clay Center. This union was blessed with the birth of three children, two sons and a daughter, Jeremy, Kimberly and Wesley. Lewis Garland Mansel was born on February 6, 1931 in Vernon, Texas to Walter Lewis and Berniece Mansel.&nbsp; He went home to be with his heavenly father on February 19, 2022, surrounded by his family.&nbsp; He was a young 91.&nbsp;

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dena (Campbell) Mansel, of the home; sons: Bradley Mansel (wife Betsy) of Hutchinson; and Jon Mansel (wife Vicky) of Manhattan; daughters: Brenda Mansel Reno of St. John; April Swartz (husband Bill) of Manhattan; and Kelly Mansel-Ramsey of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren: Christopher Garland Mansel (wife Marisa) of St. John; Zeboriah Mansel Carter (wife Jessica) of Manhattan; Emily Carter of Salt Lake City, UT; Troy Sallee of Lawrence; Trent Lewis Sallee (wife Hannah) of St. John; Abigail McCall (husband Geoff) of Fort Collins, CO; Molly Mansel of Strong City; Michelle Erichsen (husband Ryan) of Manhattan; and Gina Mansel of Nickerson; eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Garland married Dena (Campbell) on September 3, 1960 and moved his family to St. John in 1963.&nbsp; Garland was a brick mason by trade, working from the age of 15 and retiring after 63 years of creating beautiful work for thousands of people.&nbsp; Garland loved his work; he was &nbsp;&nbsp;of an artist than a mason.&nbsp; If you ever visited him on the job site, you would hear the country music playing on the old radio he carried around.&nbsp; His sons and grandsons all helped through the years in the business.&nbsp; The business he built was then passed on to his son and then to his grandsons.&nbsp; Garland had a tremendous work ethic and passed that on to his children and grandchildren.

He also loved gardening and blessed the community by leaving produce and peaches on doorsteps all over town.&nbsp; He never knew a stranger and everyone he met was better off for knowing him.&nbsp; He had a positive attitude that was contagious and was always ready and willing to help out someone in need.

Garland was a God-fearing man, and let God's word lead his life.&nbsp; One of his favorite Bible verses was Micah 6:8.&nbsp; "He has shown you, O man, what is good.&nbsp; And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."&nbsp; His life modeled that passage.&nbsp; He was one of the kindest and most humble men you would ever know.&nbsp; Garland was active in missions to Old Mexico with the church, constructing buildings and assisting the under-privileged, sharing God's love for them all.&nbsp; His son Jon, wife Dena and various grandchildren often joined him on these missions.

Garland served on many boards and committees in St. John.&nbsp; He served on the USD 350 School Board for over ten years; Fairview Park Cemetery Board, City of St. John Zoning Board, and the St. John Main Street Program.&nbsp; He was a past grand master of the IOOF Lodge #539, and received the Meritorious Service Jewel of the Order of Odd Fellowship.

Garland will be so missed by all that knew and loved him.&nbsp; But we know he's already busy in his new home with his heavenly father and all of the loved ones that went before him.&nbsp; He told a grandson that once he got to heaven, he was going to lay the golden bricks.&nbsp; And I'm sure he's already started.

Services for Garland will be held on Friday, February 25th, 2022 at the church of Christ in St. John, Kansas at 11:00, with lunch to follow.&nbsp; Visitation will be held at Minnis Chapel in St. John, Kansas on Thursday, February 24th, from 1:00 to 7:00 pm.&nbsp; The family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Colberg, 91, passed away February 8, 2022, at her home in Lyons.&nbsp; She was born January 3, 1931, in Hollyrood, the daughter of Myrtle and Pete Manwarren.&nbsp; She graduated from Bushton High School and had attended two years of Bethany Nazarene College, Bethany, OK.&nbsp; She married Roger C. Colberg on July 25, 1956, in Chase.&nbsp; She helped him farm in rural Lyons for over 60 years before he passed away on February 22, 2017.&nbsp; She was of the Christian faith.&nbsp;

Survivors include her children, DeJuana (Alan) Rudnai, Austin, TX, son Phil Colberg, son Steve Colberg, and daughter Tammy (Garlan) Old, all of Lyons; grandchildren, Ashley (Joshua) Stowers, Texas, Daniel Rudnai, Austin, TX, Dr. Clint (Christy) Colberg, Holton; Krista (Travis) Faith, Manhattan; Cory (Kylie) Colberg, Lyons;&nbsp; Levi (Mandi) Blumanhourst, South Hutchinson; Hollie (Matt) Ankerholz, Lyons; and Jerrehl (Jeremy) Brown, Aurora, CO; great grandchildren, Clayton and Blake Stowers, Carter and Cade Colberg, Kylie (Josh) Wilhelm, Mason and Madison Faith, Emberlee Colberg and Davion Smith, Lane, Bennett, and Miles Blumanhourst, Landon and Shealeigh Ankerholtz, and Jocelyn and Jaron Brown.

Derek William Wintamute, 42, of Hutchinson, died February 18, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1979, in Hutchinson, to Larry and Shirley (Grossardt) Wintamute.

Derek attended Winans and Roosevelt Elementary School, Sherman Middle School, and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1998. &nbsp;He had many different jobs, including packaging supervisor at Tyson. Growing up he enjoyed sports, especially baseball. Derek married Theresa Mora and together they had four children. He loved his children and spending time with them when he could.

Dwane Wiley Snyder, 88, died February 16, 2022, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson.&nbsp; He was born December 25, 1933, in Glasco, to Richard and Ruby (Smith) Snyder.

Dwane graduated from high school in Salina.&nbsp; For almost 40 years, he worked as a large claims insurance adjustor for what is now Nationwide Insurance. Dwane enjoyed rebuilding cars; he did everything from the mechanical work to the body work. Barney, his faithful four-legged companion was always by Dwane’s side.&nbsp; Dwane also had a soft-spot for stray farm cats. &nbsp;He LOVED cats, and never let a stray cat go hungry.&nbsp; He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.

On September 17, 1955, he married Amaryllis E. Bellerive, in Salina.&nbsp; She died September 10, 2004, after sharing nearly 49 years of marriage.

Melanie Jo Nuss, 64, of Herington passed away Peacefully on February 16, 2022, at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park. She was born February 18, 1957, in Herington to Charles Herbel and Pauline McCollum.

Melanie lived her whole life in Herington, graduating from Herington High School with the class of 1975. On July 6, 1974, she married the love of her life Craig Nuss in Herington. To this union they were blessed with 3 children.&nbsp; Melanie was a railroader’s wife, taking care of the home and children. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandkids.

Melanie is survived by her husband of 47 years Craig, son’s; Nathan Nuss, of Herington, Taylor Nuss, of Shawnee, daughter; Tarah Jo Haffner, of Herington, sisters; Susan Wolf, of Whitehouse, TX, Patricia Cox, Abilene, Linda Stone, Ottawa, and Terry Bricker, of Escondido, CA, brothers; Mike Herbel, Herington, and David Herbel, Marion. &nbsp;&nbsp;She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son Joseph, brother; Jimmy Herbel, and father-in-law Robert Nuss. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington Chapel is serving the family.

Family will receive guests from 6pm to 8pm on February 22, at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, 404 S. Broadway St. Herington. Funeral service will be at 11 am on February 23, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Herington, with graveside services to follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Reverend Bill Neuman will be officiating.&nbsp;

Cynthia (Showalter) Brice-Nash, 72, of North Huntingdon, PA, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, at her home. She was born December 25, 1949, in Hutchinson, a daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Evelyn (Wildin) Showalter.

Cynthia was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Monroeville, PA. She was an avid scrapbooker and would have her own craft shows.

Cynthia is survived by: her husband of almost 52 years, Richard Brice-Nash; twin-sister Christine Hover, formerly of Hutchinson; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Countryside Baptist Church, 819 West 30th&nbsp;Avenue, Hutchinson, with Pastor Ron Kyker officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.&nbsp; Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary.

Spencer Graeme Stucky, age 32, was born on a full moon, Friday, October 13th, 1989, and is survived by his loving parents, Roger P. &amp; Ruthanne Stucky of Moundridge.&nbsp; He passed away February 18, 2022. Additional survivors include: sister, Alisa Stucky of Lawrence, with nieces, Zoe &amp; Bridgette Stucky-Dorris; sister, Dixie (Doug) Weilert of Leoti, with nephews, Phillip (Lizzie) Weilert and Trenton (Ellisa) Weilert; sister, Susan Stephenson of McPherson, with niece, Jenni Stephenson; cousin, Roger Hernandez of Wichita, with Emily and Eli Hernandez; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Stephenson; grandparents, Marvel and Elbert Guyer; and grandma, Kathleen Stucky.

Spencer graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 2008, attended Salina Automotive Vo-Tech, and worked part-time at Moridge Manufacturing in the fabrication department.&nbsp; He always liked working with steel.

At an early age, he learned to handle equipment and enjoyed working on the farm with his dad.&nbsp; Currently, he was looking forward to a&nbsp; product demonstration position with the Grasshopper Company.

Spencer endured life’s challenges and medical setbacks, loved his family dearly, and was famous for his bear hugs.&nbsp; He loved skiing the Blacks with his sister, Dixie, and her family.&nbsp; The holidays were a great time with his nieces, sharing good dog and cat stories with each other. He was very proud to be Bridgette and Zoe’s uncle.

Spencer was very patriotic, loved his country, and had great political discussions with cousin, Roger.&nbsp; Sister, Susan, was a nurturer to Spencer.&nbsp; When Spencer was a small boy helping Susan pull weeds, he asked, “Who in the world plants weeds?”

He loved music, nature, beautiful Kansas sunsets, the outdoors, 4 wheeling on family ranch land, and was always willing to help anyone in need.

The funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022, at the First Presbyterian Church, McPherson.&nbsp; A time of fellowship will follow the service at the church. A private burial will be held in the Mound Township Cemetery, Moundridge.

Aileen Chieko Gilliland, 74, of Henderson, NE, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:05 AM, February 16, 2022. 

Burial service will be at the Buhler Memorial Cemetery, Buhler, at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, February 22. There will be a memorial service at Grace Bible Fellowship church in Central City at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 26. 

Aileen was preceded in death by her parents, David and Margaret Oshiro. She is survived by her husband, Irl Gilliland; son, David Gilliland of Reno, NV; daughter, Amy Gilliland of Enterprise, OR.

Her goal in life was to be a faithful witness and testimony for the Lord Jesus Christ, and to hear the Lord say to her, "Well done thou good and faithful servant". She and her husband were missionaries in Alaska. She has been an Executive Director for a Crisis Pregnancy Center, a Fourth grade teacher, an Administrative Assistant for a retirement facility, a dispatcher and jailer for Merrick County, a cook at Nebraska Christian, kitchen staff and Activities Director at East Park Villa, a self-employed seamstress, a dedicated prayer warrior in her later years, and a most loving and committed wife and mother.
