HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State will take on Lincoln University in the annual Homecoming football game on Saturday night at Lewis Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. It is a non-conference game this year as Lincoln moves to the Great Lakes Valley Conference next year. FHSU enters the game at 2-2, while Lincoln is 0-4.

Fort Hays State is 7-4 in head coach Chris Brown's&nbsp;tenure on Homecoming. The Tigers won six straight Homecoming games from 2015 to 2021 until the streak was snapped last year at the hands of Washburn. All seven wins have been against different opponents and this is the first time the Tigers are playing Lincoln for Homecoming on Brown's watch.

FHSU holds a 10-2 advantage in the all-time series with Lincoln. FHSU has won nine straight games against LU going back to the 1985 season. FHSU went 6-0 against Lincoln in MIAA play from 2011 to 2022.

FHSU won last year's meeting between the teams in Jefferson City by a score of 51-14. After the Blue Tigers scored the game's first touchdown in the first quarter, FHSU reeled off 48 straight points before Lincoln scored again with about nine minutes remaining in the game. FHSU has scored at least 50 points against Lincoln in the last three meetings, including 72 in a shutout win the last time the teams met in Hays (2021).

Though Lincoln is playing all but one MIAA team this year (Pittsburg State), they are a non-conference game for all schools in the conference. The Blue Tigers have not won a game since the 2019 season when they defeated Northeastern State at home on October 19. Lincoln has dropped 31 straight contests since. Lincoln will still be a conference opponent for all MIAA schools in every other sport it competes in this year except for football.

For FHSU on offense, Jack Dawson&nbsp;has thrown for 1,024 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. He averages 257 passing yards per game and has went past the 250-yard mark in three of four games this season. Trevor Watts and Jayden Horace&nbsp;are tied for the team lead in receiving yards with 243 each, and Horace is tied with&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/football/roster/bryson-smith/7640">Bryson Smith</a>&nbsp;for the most receiving touchdowns each with three.&nbsp;<a href="https://fhsuathletics.com/sports/football/roster/travis-dixon/7511">Travis Dixon</a>&nbsp;leads the Tigers in rushing with 119 yards for the season.

On the defensive side of the ball, John Johnson&nbsp;leads the Tigers in tackles with 31. He and fellow inside linebacker Makel Williams&nbsp;have combined for 59 tackles this season and rank first and second in tackles on the team. Jason Wallace&nbsp;has a team-high 2.0 sacks, while Myles Menges and Parrish Terry&nbsp;are tied for the team lead in tackles for loss with 3.0 each. Williams is the team leader in interceptions with two. The team has seven interceptions for the season, which ties for eighth-most in NCAA Division II.&nbsp;&nbsp;

KWU has won the last eight games including a 14-12 victory last season in McPherson. The Coyotes averaged 43.6 points in the seven games before last season's defensive duel. They have a 16-6 advantage since the 2001 season.. It's the 100th all-time meeting between the teams. KWU leads the all-time series 58-37-4.

The Coyotes enter the game having won their last two - 35-28 over McPherson two weeks ago at JRI Stadium and 24-14 over Bethel last week in North Newton. They scored 17 points in the second quarter against Bethel, led 17-14 at intermission and held the Threshers scoreless in the second half.

The offense has come around the last two weeks after a slow start. Quarterback Richard Lara was 28 of 42 passing (66.7 percent) for 340 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the two contests. He had a huge game against Bethel going 19 of 29 for 232 yards and three touchdowns.

Nick Allsman is the top rusher on the season with 239 yards on 61 carries and two touchdowns. Tyler Boston has 204 yards on 57 tries and one touchdown. Rhadarious Lomax-Spivey has a team-best eight receptions while Luke Armstrong and Boston each have seven.

Defense has been KWU's forte. Opponents are averaging 17.2 points, 287 total yards - 157.2 passing and 129.8 rushing. The Coyotes have forced 11 turnovers, six fumbles and five interceptions.

Placekicker Talon Cope has been superb. He has made three of four field goals - the longest from 45 yards out last week - and is perfect on 13 extra point attempts.

The Bulldogs have been a surprise this season. They have won their last two games - 60-17 over Ottawa in Ottawa and 42-21 versus Avila last week in McPherson. The loss was to Saint Mary 36-32 September 9 in McPherson. They're 2-0 on the road this season.

McPherson's offense has been outstanding. The Bulldogs are averaging 43.8 points and 473.6 total yards that includes 289.4 passing.

Junior quarterback Tristan Szabo has had a hot hand through five games, completing 56 percent of his passes for 1,407 yards, 17 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also has 179 yards rushing three more scores. Traven Lewis-Johnson and Alex Hill are the top receivers - Lewis-Johnson 19 receptions for 389 yards and Hill 15 for 209 yards. Each has four touchdowns.

Linebacker Marquis Willoughby has a team-best 49 tackles that include 6.5 for loss and has an interception. Nehemiah Figueroa has four interceptions. Opponents average 24.4 points and 333.6 yards.

The Bulldogs were 5-5 in last season but three of the losses were by one point along with the two-point setback against KWU.

"The defenses that we're playing are statistically very good so it's good to see the (offense) go out and perform. (The line) is not blowing assignments up front, we're taking care of the ball and we're protecting the quarterback. (McPherson) is going to drop back and pass 25, 30 times. We just need to make sure the quarterback is uncomfortable as possible and that relates to condensing the pocket which takes all the guys up front. (McPherson) is certainly tough, coach (Jeremiah) Fiscus does an excellent job down there. They have a very dynamic offense, honestly, and are very good at what they do. We expect a lot of shifts and motions and we need to make sure we're prepared. It will be a big challenge and we look forward to it."

Wesleyan faces McPherson in 100th meeting between teams Saturday

The premiere Jayhawk Conference football rivalry renews itself for the 100th time on Saturday as the No. 1-ranked Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons travel to play the No. 10 Butler Grizzlies at 7 p.m. in BG Products Veterans Memorial Stadium in El Dorado.

The game will be broadcast live on Blue Dragon flagship station <a href="https://streamdb5web.securenetsystems.net/v5/KHUT">KHUT-FM (102.9)</a> beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Countdown to Kickoff.

Saturday's 100th meeting between Hutchinson (4-0, 1-0 KJCCC) and Butler (3-1, 2-1) carries its normal list of what's at stake when the Blue Dragons and Grizzlies square off. For the 16th time in the last 20 games, the Dragons and Grizzlies meet as nationally ranked opponents, meeting for the second-straight season as Top 10 foes. The winner will also have an inside track to the KJCCC title.

Hutchinson will playing a nationally ranked opponent on the road for the third time this season. The Blue Dragons have already won at No. 11 Navarro (42-7) and at No. 5 Iowa Central (27-2) this season. The Blue Dragons are 4-0 in road games against nationally ranked opponents in the Drew Dallas era.

Both Hutchinson and Butler enter Saturday's contest on winning streaks.

The Blue Dragons won their fourth game in a row to start the season after last week's 37-7 victory over Coffeyville.&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/fball/2023-24/bios/richardson_tre_3jar">Tre Richardson</a>, who was named NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season, returned two punts for touchdowns to spark the Blue Dragons to their first Jayhawk Conference victory of the season. The Blue Dragons overcame three turnovers to defeat the Red Ravens.

The Grizzlies stepped out of conference play last week for a 32-7 victory at NEO. Running back Jaisean Murray, this week's KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week, scored a pair of touchdowns and ran for 144 yards on 15 carries. Butler out-gained NEO 383-148.

The Centennial Hutchinson-Butler game features the KJCCC's top 2 scoring offenses (Hutchinson 44.5 ppg); Butler (29.5 ppg).

The Blue Dragons are the No. 1 scoring defense in the KJCCC and NJCAA so far this season. Allowing just 5.5 points per game, the Dragon defense hasn't allowed a point in the last two games.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The NFL figured it had a marquee made-for-TV matchup when it announced the league's schedule in May.

Aaron Rodgers' New York Jets would square off at home against Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in prime time on Sunday night.

Rodgers was lost for the season just four snaps into his debut with the Jets — and now all the hype has shifted off the field, with fans wondering whether Taylor Swift will show up at MetLife Stadium to support Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce again.

The pop superstar attended Kansas City's victory over Chicago at home last Sunday, but the All-Pro tight end wouldn't divulge any details about their relationship. And neither would Mahomes.

"Like Travis said, I’m going to let them have their privacy and keep it moving,” Mahomes said this week.

That's what the Chiefs (2-1) intend to do when they face a struggling Jets (1-2) team that's now led by Zach Wilson in place of the injured Rodgers, who's healing at home in California after having surgery on his torn left Achilles tendon.

Mahomes and the offense appeared in top form last week while romping past the winless Bears. The reigning league MVP threw three touchdown passes, including one to Kelce and two to Jerick McKinnon, while Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire added TD runs.

Mahomes, who surpassed 25,000 yards passing last week, has 199 career touchdown passes. If he gets one against the Jets in his first appearance at MetLife Stadium, he would reach 200 in his 84th game — five faster than Dan Marino’s NFL record.

“Patrick Ma-homie? He’s a special talent,” Jets coach Robert Saleh said. “Some of the throws he makes are disgusting from a defensive perspective, but they’re super talented.”

Andy Reid's Chiefs rank fifth in overall offense, fifth in passing, 10th in rushing and ninth in scoring.

“Sometimes I wonder if he just draws it in the dirt as the game goes on, with some of the concepts that they have,” a smiling Saleh said of Reid. “But it’s going to be a challenge, for sure.”

Especially with the embattled Wilson under center for at least another week. After a solid showing in the Jets' season-opening win over Buffalo in overtime, the offense has sputtered. And a lot of it is on Wilson, who has been unable to get anything going — while frustrated fans are calling for him to be benched.

Even Joe Namath went all in this week, saying during a radio show he has seen enough of the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 and suggested wholesale changes to the organization.

Saleh and the Jets have reiterated their confidence in Wilson, but acknowledged he must improve — and fast.

“It’s a long season,” Wilson said after New York's 15-10 loss to New England last Sunday. “We’re all going to look in the mirror, find out how we can be better and learning and improving. Having that short-term memory, understanding that we lost this week — oh well, we have to learn from this and move on and get better.”

Mahomes remembers just about every interception he has thrown, mostly because there haven’t been many.

And when it gets returned for a touchdown? Those really stand out, even if they happened in college.

So it was easy for him to recount D.J. Reed’s pick-6 against him on Oct. 8, 2016 — when Mahomes was playing for Texas Tech and Reed for Kansas State.

“That’s stuff you really have to be aware of when you play quarterback,” said Mahomes, who'll see Reed on the opposite side again Sunday night. “I think he was supposed to get blocked by a receiver and jumped it and got to the house.”

“Just from watching the tape back then I knew he was going to be special,” the Jets cornerback said. “He's a generational quarterback with his off-rhythm throws."

The Jets' struggles on offense could be largely attributed to what they've done — or haven't done — on third down.

New York was 1 for 10 in those situations against Dallas in Week 2 and 2 for 14 last Sunday against New England. For the season, the Jets are 8 for 37, a 22% conversion rate that ranks them last in the NFL.

“It's all of us,” offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said. "I think that we put our entire offense into some really bad situations. Doesn’t matter who’s back there at quarterback, who’s playing, when you’re behind the sticks, when you’re third-and-extra-long continuously, it’s not going to be good, and we have to be better.”

Rarely does Reid criticize officials, but he doubled down on his critique of them after last week’s rout of Chicago, during which they continued to penalize Chiefs right tackle Jawaan Taylor.

Taylor had been thrust into the spotlight after Week 1 when he appeared to continually line up too deep in the backfield, and was flagged five times for various infractions the following week. Yet replays showed that Taylor lined up no deeper than any other offensive tackle in the league last week, leading Reid to conclude Taylor was being picked on.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The San Francisco Giants have fired manager Gabe Kapler. It's the first managerial change of 2023, and it comes with three days left in the season and the Giants eliminated from the playoffs. San Francisco is 78-81 going into a season-ending series against the NL West champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The 48-year-old Kapler had a 295-248 record over four seasons guiding the Giants, but his only year with a winning record was 2021. San Francisco won a franchise-record 107 games that year and the NL West title, but lost in the NL Division Series to the Dodgers.

Silas Bolden has 2 TDs to help No. 19 Oregon State beat No. 10 Utah 21-7

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Silas Bolden caught a 27-yard touchdown pass and ran 45 yards for another score and No. 19 Oregon State handed No. 10 Utah its first loss of the season with a 21-7 victory Friday night. Damien Martinez added an early touchdown dash and the Beavers (4-1, 1-1 Pac-12) rebounded from last weekend's close loss to No. 16 Washington State. Utah (4-1, 1-1) was still without quarterback Cam Rising, who warmed up with the team but was in street clothes at kickoff. Rising tore his left ACL during the Rose Bowl in January and needed surgery. DJ Uiagalelei threw for 204 yards and a touchdown for the Beavers. Bolden caught six passes for 100 yards.

NFL revises gambling policy, reinstates Detroit's Jameson Williams and 2 other suspended players

The NFL has revised its gambling policy and is reinstating three players who previously received longer suspensions. Tennessee's Nicholas Petit-Frere and Detroit's Jameson Williams can return to their teams on Monday. Free agent Stanley Berryhill will be eligible to participate in all activities, including games, starting Tuesday. All three players were initially suspended six games. The new policy reduces the punishment for gambling on non-NFL sports within team facilities to two games. The minimum suspension for gambling on NFL games increases to one year. For players who bet on their own teams, the minimum suspension was raised to two years.

Judge says she is ending conservatorship between former NFL player Michael Oher and Memphis couple

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — A Tennessee judge says she is ending a conservatorship agreement between former NFL player Michael Oher and a Memphis couple who took him in when he was in high school. Shelby County Probate Court Judge Kathleen Gomes said she is terminating the agreement reached in 2004 that allowed Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy to control Oher's finances. He had signed the agreement when he was 18 and living with the couple as he was being recruited by colleges as a star high school football player. Their story is the subject of the film "The Blind Side, which earned Sandra Bullock an Oscar. Gomes said she was not dismissing the case.

Defending champion Aces return to WNBA Finals, beat Wings 64-61 to complete sweep

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — A'ja Wilson had 13 points and 13 rebounds, and the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces advanced to the finals for the third time in four years, beating the Dallas Wings 64-61 for a three-game sweep. Las Vegas scored the final 11 points of the game. Wilson converted a tying layup and Alysha Clark made a tiebreaking free throw with 1:45 left. The Wings had a 61-53 lead when Arike Ogunbowale made a running layup with 4:59 left. They didn't score again. Ogunbowale finished with a game-high 18 points, but missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Kansas guard Arterio Morris charged with rape, dismissed from men's basketball team

Kansas basketball player Arterio Morris was charged Friday with one count of rape and dismissed from the Jayhawks' men's basketball program. Morris was booked in Douglas County and his bond was set at $75,000, public records showed. His arrest came after an incident report came to light earlier this month that detailed an alleged rape that occurred at McCarthy Hall, which houses the Jayhawks' men's basketball team. Morris was not named in the report but was subsequently suspended from the program. Kansas coach Bill Self said in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday that he had now been dismissed.

HUTCHINSON, Kan.&nbsp;— The Hutchinson High School Salthawks football team got off to a quick start and never looked back, cruising to a 57-14 win over the Salina South Cougars on Homecoming at Gowans Stadium.

Hutchinson (3-2) junior Terrell King got things started, taking the opening kickoff back 86 yards for a touchdown to give the Salthawks a 7-0 lead eight seconds in.

The Salthawks scored quickly throughout the night, needing only one-play scoring drives on three different occasions.&nbsp;

Hutchinson finished the game with 359 yards of total offense, 288 of those on the ground. Senior Zion Burgess led the ground game with 11 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns of 61 yards and seven yards. Four different Salthawks scored rushing touchdowns (Burgess 2, Smith 1, Gaitho-Karanu 1, Hunter 1).&nbsp;

The Salthawks led 14-0 after one quarter, 35-7 at halftime, and 50-7 after three quarters.

Salthawk head coach Mike Vernon was able to use several of his reserves for a majority of the second half.

Sophomore Tayton Tuchardt led the defense with seven tackles and a tackle for loss. Senior Mason Jones finished with six tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks.&nbsp;

The Hutchinson defense limited the Salina South offense to zero yards of offense in the first quarter, while really taking away the Cougars rushing attempts. Salina South finished with 37 carries for 72 yards after running the ball 21 times for negative-5 yards in the first half.

The Salthawks travel to Haysville on Friday to play the Campus Colts. Campus (1-4) fell to Derby, 48-0 on Friday. The Cougars return to Salina District Stadium to host Newton (2-3).

(AP) — Every batter Kansas City sent up against Carlos Rodón scored, resulting in a nine-run first inning, and Bobby Witt Jr. added a two-run homer to become the first Royals player in the 30-30 club during a 12-5 rout of the New York Yankees that opened their season-ending three-game series Friday night.

Witt reached base three times and drove in three runs, and his homer in the seventh gave him 30 to go with 49 stolen bases. He needs one more steal to join Eric Davis, Barry Bonds and Ronald Acuña Jr. as the only players in the 30-50 club.

All eight batters Rodón (3-8) faced scored, tying the most runs allowed in a start without getting an out since at least 1901. He permitted six hits and two walks before Yankees manager Aaron Boone mercifully pulled him from the game.

The Royals wound up putting their first 10 batters on base — the first nine scored — to set a franchise record.

Jordan Lyles (6-17) took advantage of the immense run support to earn his second straight win. The right-hander got through six shaky innings, allowing five runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four.

Austin Wells hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs for the Yankees.

The Royals (55-105) need to sweep the three-game set to avoid equaling the 2005 team that lost 106 times for the most in franchise history. The Yankees (81-79) need to win one of the last two to ensure their 31st consecutive winning season.

The miserable first year of Rodón's six-year, $162 million contract came to a fitting conclusion. In 35 pitches without recording an out, Rodón allowed four singles, two walks, a double and Edward Oliveras' no-doubt shot into the New York bullpen.

Not even a visit from Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake could stop the damage.

It was the most batters faced without recording an out by a starter since Steven Matz faced eight for the Mets in 2019, and the 10 consecutive hitters that reached base were the most to start a game against the Yankees since the Cleveland Indians had that many reach against Catfish Hunter and Bob Kammeyer on July 27, 1978.

Rodón began the year on the injured list with a strained forearm and then dealt with a back injury that slowed his return. He didn't make his Yankees debut until July 7, and then lost four of his first five starts. Not even a reasonably respectable last month for the two-time All-Star could salvage his ERA, which plummeted to 6.85 with Friday night's effort. New York went 3-11 in his 2023 starts.

The Royals kept rolling against reliever Matt Bowman, too. Their first out scored another run on Witt's sacrifice fly, and their second was a productive fielder's choice by Oliveras that moved up the runners. Maikel Garcia and Salvador Perez, who had three RBIs, each had two hits in the first inning, which ended on a questionable called third strike against Nelson Velázquez.

The Yankees trimmed their 10-run deficit in half by the sixth, but Witt's homer in the seventh put the game away.

Yankees: RHP Keynan Middleton (shoulder inflammation) was activated from the injured list and RHP Yoendrys Gómez was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Middleton served up Witt's home run.

LAWRENCE, Kan. –&nbsp;Two top-25 teams will square off in Austin, Texas this weekend as No. 24 Kansas travels to Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 30 to take on No. 3 Texas.

The game will be nationally televised on ABC at 2:30 p.m. CT with Sean McDonough (play-by-play), Greg McElroy (analyst) and Molly McGrath (sideline) on the call for the Jayhawks’ first appearance on ABC since 2019.

With both teams 4-0, it will be the first time that the two teams have faced off while both are ranked. The Kansas-Texas matchup will be the 22nd in program history, with Texas owning the series advantage at 17-4, including a 9-1 advantage in Austin. Kansas won its first game in Austin in program history in 2021, in an overtime thriller that resulted in a Jared Casey 2-point conversion to win, 57-56.

The Jayhawks are 4-0 in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1914-15. Last week, Kansas outlasted BYU in its Big 12 Conference opener, 38-27, behind two defensive touchdowns from Cobee Bryant (fumble return) and Kenny Logan Jr. (interception return). Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels threw three touchdown passes as the Jayhawks won their Big 12 opener in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2008-09.

Kansas enters Saturday’s game ranking first nationally in third-down conversion rate (60.5%), while averaging 37.8 points per game. Kansas’ two defensive touchdowns are tied for the third most nationally while their 35 tackles-for-loss is the eighth most in the country.

Texas returns home ranked No. 3 in the AP Poll, after defeating Baylor 38-6 in Waco on Saturday, Sept. 23. The Longhorns are averaging 35.0 points per game while allowing just 12.5. The Longhorns enter Saturday’s game following victories over Baylor (Sept. 23, 38-6), Wyoming (Sept. 16, 31-10), No. 3 Alabama (Sept. 9, 34-24) and Rice (Sept. 2, 37-10).

The Longhorns are led by second year quarterback Quinn Ewers, who has thrown for 1,033 yards and nine touchdowns on 72-of-112 passing. Texas’ defense is guided by Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year Jaylan Ford, who leads the team with 25 tackles and two interceptions.

Following Kansas’ road test at Texas, the Jayhawks will return home to host UCF on Saturday, Oct. 7. The game will feature two Jayhawks being inducted into the Ring of Honor, as Nick Reid and Tony Sands earn the highest honor bestowed upon Kansas football letterwinners.

The NFL didn’t need a popularity boost before Travis Kelce became enchanted with Taylor Swift.

They’ll gladly welcome millions of Swifties to watch this love story unfold.

The biggest news that came out of Week 3 wasn’t Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins lighting up the scoreboard against Denver with only the fourth 70-point performance in NFL history.

It wasn’t Arizona shocking Dallas, Houston upsetting Jacksonville or Matt Gay kicking four 50-yard field goals to help Indianapolis knock off Baltimore.

Instead,&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/taylor-swift-kelce-chiefs-891e7df84295f5b35cfa97a5ec427721">Swift stole the headlines</a>&nbsp;by simply showing up at Arrowhead Stadium to watch Kelce and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs destroy the woeful Chicago Bears. The pop star joined Donna Kelce in a suite and mesmerized the world with her high-fiving, glass-pounding, chest-bumping enthusiasm.

Swift then left the stadium with Kelce and accompanied the four-time All-Pro tight end to an after-party with his teammates.

Two-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes was impressed.

“She was really cool. Good people,” Mahomes said.

Andy Reid joked that he played matchmaker.

“I set them up. She’s tremendous at everything she does. I haven’t got to meet her, but if she ends up with Travis, I’ll probably get to meet her,” Reid said.

Even Bill Belichick shared his thoughts on America’s newest power couple.

“Well, I would say that Travis Kelce’s had a lot of big catches in his career. This would be the biggest,” Belichick said in a radio interview on WEEI in Boston.

There’s no shaking off the Swift-Kelce buzz if the NFL’s grumpiest coach is dropping lines about their possible relationship.

Kelce’s No. 87&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-jersey-nfl-d6fc6756069e0c2dc12c0af747941414">jersey sales skyrocketed</a>&nbsp;this week, spiking 400%. Television ratings for the Bears-Chiefs game soared despite the lopsided score. A total of 24.3 million viewers tuned in, making it the second-most watched game this season.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took notice.

“Like literally, she impacts economies when she brings her tour to a city,” Cuban said on ESPN’s First Take. “She is literally the most popular artist on the planet right now, not even close. So what I’m going to tell ya, Taylor, if you are listening, sorry Travis, break up with him. I got a bunch of good looking, single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I gotchu, I gotchu.”

Kelce responded on X, formerly known as Twitter, telling Cuban to sign him to a 10-day contract.

Kelce, who joked about paparazzi staking out his house, has had plenty of fun in the spotlight but he plans to keep things quiet going forward.

“What’s real is that it is my personal life. I want to respect both of our lives,” he told his brother, Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce, on the “&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/video/kansas-city-chiefs-chicago-bears-nfl-football-missouri-kansas-city-71d9947b11ce4110b15eb93f2aea739b">New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast</a>.

But, two is better than one. So, Swift is reportedly&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/chiefs-jets-preview-ce81e22c5acd589a692f6d4b08efd5ab">heading to MetLife Stadium</a>&nbsp;to see Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Aaron Rodgers-less New York Jets on Sunday Night Football.

That’s another big win for the NFL since it’ll be difficult for the Jets to keep up with the high-flying Chiefs if Zach Wilson is still their quarterback. He should be since the team only signed Trevor Siemian this week. If the score gets out of control, expect the Swifties to stick with the NBC broadcast to see when the television cameras pan to the 12-time Grammy Award winner.

Betting sites are offering odds on how much face time Swift gets during the game, what color she will wear, which broadcaster says her name first, who she’ll sit with and much more.

Nobody reaps the benefit of this relationship more than the NFL, which already was doing just fine before Swift crashed the stadium and brought her 367 million followers on Instagram and X to the party.

The attention exceeds even the league’s wildest dreams.
