Twila Joyce Stutzman, 44, died Sunday, August 2, 2020, at her brother’s home, in South Hutchinson. She was born July 25, 1976, in Hutchinson, to Perry Lee and Judith (Nisly) Stutzman.

Twila lived in Oklahoma City for the last 10 years, moving to Hutchinson earlier this summer. She had attended Pilgrim Christian High School and belonged to Beautiful Restorations. Twila had worked as a waitress, independent contractor as interior design, and an Uber driver, in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her parents; brothers, Owen and wife Wanda and children, Matthias, Isaiah, Isabella and Adalina, all of South Hutchinson; Lyle and wife Maria and children, Scott, Ivanna, Megan and Levi, all of Washington, IN.

Twila was preceded in death by her sister, Julia Stutzman.

Private graveside service is Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at West Center Cemetery, with Dwight Miller and Paul Yoder presiding. Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur James ‘Art’ McPhillips, 56, of Hutchinson, died August 1, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born February 9, 1964, in Hutchinson, to Janice Lee Smith-McPhillips.

Art worked for Carey Salt Company in Careyville and Lyons and then as a Master Sergeant at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. He loved hunting, gambling, and old Western movies. Art was also a big advocate for the existence of Big Foot, much to his family’s amusement.

On June 11, 1988, he married Julie Castro, in Hutchinson. They shared 32 years of marriage.

Art is survived by wife, Julie McPhillips; son, Randy McPhillips; daughters, Jeanell Hopkins, and Reanna McPhillips, all of Hutchinson; sister, Edie McPhillips, Topeka, KS; brother, Thomas McPhillips, Kansas City, MO; and grandchildren, Zavia Walden, Kendrick Dean, Acelyn McPhillips, Alexander McPhillips, and Avery McPhillips, all of Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Smith-McPhillips.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Steven M. Buller, 71, died July 31, 2020 at his home with family by his side. He was born July 6, 1949, the son of George and Margaret Buller. After graduating from Inman High School in 1967, he attended Barber College in Wichita, KS. In September of 1968, he joined the United States Navy. On December 27, 1972, he married Darlene Zook. Together they had two children, Jesse and Jenny. During his 24 years of service in the Navy, his shore duty assignments were in San Francisco, CA, Thurmont, MD, Holy Lock, Scotland, Cutler, ME, New Orleans, LA, and Sigonella, Sicily. His sea duty consisted of service on several ships, the USS Midway, the USS Folton, the USS America, and the USS Mt. Whitney. He also served in Vietnam from 1971 to 1972. After retiring from the Navy in 1993, he worked on the family farm.&nbsp; He then bought the Barbershop in Inman and cut hair there until 2016.&nbsp; He also was a rural route mail carrier for the Post Office in Inman. He also was the president of the Inman Area Veterans Association for many years. On October 31, 1987 he married Theresa Shaw in Norfolk, VA. She survives. Other survivors include his children and grandchildren; Jesse and Honesty Buller and Solomon Buller, Jenny and Ralph Marchione, and Alexis Marchione, all of Hutchinson; his brother Larry; as well as nephews Richard Buller and family, all of Hutchinson; David Buller and family of Independence, MO; and niece Trisha Totman and family, Taos, NM. Goldie A. Kolb, 98, died on July 25, 2020 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born October 12, 1921, in Hanston, KS, the daughter of Homer F. and Lora Mae (Ellis) Salmans. Goldie was the youngest of 12 children.

She married William F. Kolb on March 27, 1941 in Albert, KS. He passed away on October 17, 1985. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Goldie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; a son, Darrell G. Kolb, a daughter, Beverly Wilder; seven brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her children; Laura (Paul) Chadd, Sherry (Charlie) Savely, Gerry (Frank) Brunton; daughter-in-law, Norma Kolb; son-in-law, Gary Wilder and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Toni Lea Bell, 62, of Galva, died Monday, August 3, 2020 at her home in Galva. She had worked as a certified nurses aide and had been a resident of Galva for the past year, moving from Butler, Missouri.

She was born June 11, 1958 in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of William H. and Zelda O. (Graham) Martin. On July 18, 1984 she married Gary Bell in Abilene and he survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Trinity (Gena) Tyler, Abilene and Travis (Lindsay) Tyler, Galva; three daughters, Tricia (Thomas) Harrold, Assaria, Stephanie (Travis) McNeely, Washington and Michelle Strong, Kansas City, Missouri; brother, John (Tina) Hatfield, Abilene; sisters, Donna (Leroy) Bryan, Logan, Illinois, Wanda (Robert) Bell, Abilene, Karen Martin, Industry and Sandy Martin, Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Ashley Tyler, Abilene; numerous grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Retired Colonel Joseph ‘Joe’ H. Wolfenberger, 88, died July 31, 2020, at Hillcrest Hospital South, Tulsa, OK.&nbsp; He was born December 23, 1931, in McAlester, OK, to Joseph R. and Laura E. (Wheeler) Wolfenberger.

Joe graduated from McAlester High School in 1950, from New Mexico Military Institute in 1952, and from the University of Oklahoma in 1955.

On April 9, 1955, he married Mary Elizabeth Biddick, in Ardmore, OK. They shared over sixty years of marriage, before her death on November 12, 2015.

In 1955, Joe was commissioned in the United States Army (Artillery), and served in various command and staff assignments in the United States, Europe, and two tours with combat units in Vietnam.&nbsp; His service included two tours with the 82nd Airborne Division and command of the 130th Field Artillery Brigade of the Kansas Army National Guard.&nbsp; Joe retired from the military in 1988 with thirty-three years of service. &nbsp;&nbsp;After retirement, Joe worked at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, and Olsten-Kimberly Home Health Services, as a physical therapist.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hot Springs Village, AR, Retired Officer’s Association (Past President of Hutchinson Chapter), Past District Commissioner for Mohawk District, Boy Scouts of America and High Adventure Advisor to Kanza Council, life member of National Guard Association of United States and Kansas (former member of Executive Committee), life member of 82nd Airborne Division Association, American Legion, Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Association of the United Army, American Physical Therapy Association, and former member of Hutchinson Rotary Club.

He is survived by his children, Kurt (Terri) Wolfenberger of Newton, KS, Erick (Ruth) Wolfenberger of The Woodlands, TX, Karl (Heidi) Wolfenberger of Broken Arrow, OK, Paul Wolfenberger of Broken Arrow, OK, Brenda (Greg) Peterson of Hartford, CT, Greta (Michael) Kirk of Waterloo, IL; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pastor Bill McConnelee, 81, died July 30, 2020, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson. He was born January 11, 1939, in Minden, NE, to Fred and Anna (McKee) McConnelee.

Bill graduated from Franklin High School in Portland, OR, and Sterling College, in 1961. He graduated from the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, IA, in 1965. Bill served as a Presbyterian pastor for 54 years, serving in the states of Washington, Texas, Arkansas, and Iowa.&nbsp; He also served in Sterling, and in Western Kansas, including Dodge City and Jetmore. Bill retired after serving the Lyons Presbyterian Church. As a young child, Bill enjoyed being in 4-H and raising hogs. After retirement, he enjoyed reading and traveling.

On August 9, 1962, Bill married Carla Mershon, in Hutchinson.&nbsp; They shared 48 years of marriage, prior to her death on October 4, 2010.

Bill is survived by children, Carl McConnelee (Cindy) of Bedford, VA, Cathy Pohlman (Aaron) of Hutchinson, Cynthia McConnelee Smith (Scott) of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Daryl McConnelee.

He was born January 11, 1939, in Minden, NE, to Fred and Anna (McKee) McConnelee.Bill graduated from Franklin High School in Portland, OR, and Sterling College, in 1961. He graduated from the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, IA, in 1965. Bill served as a Presbyterian pastor for 54 years, serving in the states of Washington, Texas, Arkansas, and Iowa.&nbsp; He also served in Sterling, and in Western Kansas, including Dodge City and Jetmore. Bill retired after serving the Lyons Presbyterian Church. As a young child, Bill enjoyed being in 4-H and raising hogs. After retirement, he enjoyed reading and traveling.On August 9, 1962, Bill married Carla Mershon, in Hutchinson.&nbsp; They shared 48 years of marriage, prior to her death on October 4, 2010.Bill is survived by children, Carl McConnelee (Cindy) of Bedford, VA, Cathy Pohlman (Aaron) of Hutchinson, Cynthia McConnelee Smith (Scott) of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Daryl McConnelee.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020, at First Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Frieda May McGill, 93, died July 30, 2020, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. She was born April 6, 1927, in Hutchinson, to John Wesley and Laura Margaret (Price) Carter.&nbsp;

Frieda was a 1945 graduate of Hutchinson High School, and a 1969 graduate of Salt City Business College, Hutchinson. She enjoyed playing cards, doing craft projects, and listening to Western and Classical country music. Frieda was a seamstress who refurbished American flags, and did sewing and upholstery repairs on the uniforms and leather gear used by firemen and policemen. She was a Boy Scout Den Mother, and bowler who taught each of her children to bowl. Frieda was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson. She had many jobs, but the one that she loved the most was being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

On March 21, 1945, she married William Anthony McGill, in Hutchinson.&nbsp; They shared almost sixty-three years of marriage, prior to his death on March 1, 2008.

Frieda is survived by her children, Barbara (Bill) Naab of Hutchinson, Patricia (Les) Hauschild of Sterling, Tony (Joella) McGill of Hutchinson, Lisa (San) Nikkel of Moundridge, Rebecca Friesen of Hutchinson, Chris (Jody) McGill of Hutchinson, and Claude McGill of Hutchinson; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters. Doris (Dave) Clark, and Lorana (Ed) Stay, all of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William McGill; sister, Vesta Stewart; and brothers, John Haines, Darrell Carter, and Walter Carter.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Westside Baptist Church, 400 W. 12th, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Adrian officiating. The service can be viewed on the Westside Baptist Church Facebook page. Patricia Ann ‘Patty’ (Whitney) Dees, 80, died August 1, 2020, at her daughter Laura’s home, surrounded by family. She was born March 24, 1940, in Manhattan, KS, to Fredrick R. and Virginia L. (Anderson) Whitney.

Patty attended Lucky High School. Through her life, she resided in Manhattan, McPherson, Sylvan Grove, and Hutchinson.&nbsp; Patty worked at CertainTeed in McPherson, was co-owner of Reno Auto Salvage in Hutchinson, and worked at World Pest Control in Sylvan Grove.&nbsp; She was a member of Church of the Holy Cross and the Altar Society and Adoration Chapel at the church.

On June 22, 1957, Patty married James L. Dees in Manhattan. They later divorced.

She is survived by children Jeff Dees and wife Darlene of McPherson, Rebecca Sladky of McPherson, Brian Dees and wife Cindy of Burrton, Laura Hatcher and husband Jerry of Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Jean Whitney of Sylvan Grove, and Diane Heptig and husband Mike of Flush.

She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Jim.

Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Elliott Chapel. Patricia Lucille Stout, 91, of Hutchinson, died on July 31, 2020 at Reflections Living, Hutchinson. She was born December 15, 1928 in rural Lerado, KS, the daughter of Fay and Luressa Clough.

Patricia graduated from Langdon High School. She married Donald Stout on December 2, 1948 in Hutchinson. He passed away August 8, 1986. Patricia was employed at International Homes for over forty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; two granddaughters, Joey Tatro and Tiffany Thomas; great grandson, Tucker Stout; four brothers and two sisters.

Patricia is survived by her children, Monty (Linda) Stout, Sheri (Bruce) Stout and Peggy (Greg) Thomas; eight grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two sisters; a brother and their families.

Sadie (Beachy) Nisly, 100, of Hutchinson, died July 30, 2020, at her home. She was born December 3, 1919, in Hutchinson to Samuel M. and Nettie (Miller) Beachy.

Sadie was a homemaker, gardener, and quilter, making many quilts for children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as custom quilting. She was a member of Cedar Crest Amish Mennonite Church.

On June 12, 1940, Sadie married Ora C. Nisly. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2005. They shared 64 years of marriage.

Haven, KS resident Garold W. Randall passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at his home.&nbsp; He was 76.

He was born November 1, 1943, in Webster, KS the son of Harvey and Iris (Garringer) Randall.

Garold was united in marriage to Cathy Sue Davis on June 8, 1968, in Glade, KS.&nbsp; She preceded him in death in 2009.

Survivors include his son Kaelen of Hutchinson, KS; two daughters, Alisa Randall of Hutchinson and Stephanie Showalter of Haven; a brother Ronald Randall of Hutchinson; a sister Marilyn Chestnut of Phillipsburg; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating.&nbsp; The services will be streamed live on Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel FaceBook page.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the Marvin Cemetery, Glade, KS, with military honors conducted by the United States Air Force.

Jolene Georgia Self, age 92 “has flown West" on July 27, 2020. Jolene was born in Clay Center, KS to Eva (Blanchette) and Leroy Friend and grew up in Salina, KS.

Some of&nbsp;Jolene's fondest memories included being a flight hostess for Trans World Airlines (TWA) where she was based in San Francisco and Kansas City. Jolene was married to Robert L. Self in&nbsp;December, 1952 and made their home in Hutchinson.

She is survived by her three children; Rhett Self of Hutchinson; Rolee Self- Kelly (Mark Citta) Council Bluffs, IA and Jonee Phillips (Jim) Auburn, KS and also special friend Rita Rivard-Carson of Hutchinson. 

Jolene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, who passed in November, 1980. After his passing she spent time living in Chicago, Omaha and Dallas and returned to Hutchinson 10 years ago. During this time, she returned to working for TWA as a Quality Assurance Agent and volunteered at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.&nbsp; Jolene was a member of TWA Clipped Wings.

Private burial is planned at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Reno County use&nbsp;or the Hutchinson Animal Shelter in care of the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 East 30th Avenue, Hutchinson, KS.

Jolene Georgia Self | 2020 |

Melvon Darrell “Barney” Fike, 80, of Cape Fair, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, in Moundridge, Kansas. He was born August 22, 1939, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. His parents were Eli and Charlotte Corain (Hoyt) Nelson.

Darrell graduated from West High School in Wichita, Kansas. He was a route delivery driver for Pepsi Co. in Wichita where he raised his family. In his retirement, he moved to Cape Fair, Missouri. He worked for Walmart in Branson, Missouri.

Darrell married Carol Percival on March 30, 1962. She survives of the home.

Darrell loved fishing, boating, antique cars, motorcycles, and playing pinochle.

He is also survived by five children, Jayne Fike (Kenny Welch), Wichita, KS., James (Tina) Porter, Peck, KS., Hope Fike, Goessel, KS., Jason Fike, El Dorado, KS., and Angela Stucky, McPherson, KS.; grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Matthew, Bradley, Nakisha and Amanda; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Dean) Marshall; and sister-in-law, Marci Nelson, both of Wichita, KS.; and many nieces and nephews.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Iona (Fike) Monroe; and brother, Woodrow “Woody” Nelson.

Cremation is planned. Inurnment will be at West Zion Cemetery, Moundridge, KS. A memorial service will be held later. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.

His parents were Eli and Charlotte Corain (Hoyt) Nelson.Darrell graduated from West High School in Wichita, Kansas. He was a route delivery driver for Pepsi Co. in Wichita where he raised his family. In his retirement, he moved to Cape Fair, Missouri. He worked for Walmart in Branson, Missouri.Darrell married Carol Percival on March 30, 1962. She survives of the home.Darrell loved fishing, boating, antique cars, motorcycles, and playing pinochle.He is also survived by five children, Jayne Fike (Kenny Welch), Wichita, KS., James (Tina) Porter, Peck, KS., Hope Fike, Goessel, KS., Jason Fike, El Dorado, KS., and Angela Stucky, McPherson, KS.; grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Matthew, Bradley, Nakisha and Amanda; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Dean) Marshall; and sister-in-law, Marci Nelson, both of Wichita, KS.; and many nieces and nephews.Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Iona (Fike) Monroe; and brother, Woodrow “Woody” Nelson.Cremation is planned. Carlene Inez Huffman, 91, of Hutchinson, died July 25, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born October 21, 1928, in Utica, to Bert Carl and Lola Eunice (McBee) Acuff.

Carlene was a 1946 graduate of Cedaredge High School, Cedaredge, CO, and served as an Air Controlman WAVE 3rd&nbsp;Class, in the United States Navy, from March 1952 to December 1954. She was employed as a clerk for the City of Hutchinson, and retired as a bank teller from Hutchinson National Bank and Trust Company, in July 1985. Carlene volunteered for twenty years at the Cosmosphere International Science Education Center &amp; Space Museum, formerly known as the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Museum. She also was a twenty-year volunteer at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

On November 21, 1954, Carlene married Douglas Clair Huffman, in Grand Junction, CO. They shared over fifty-six years of marriage, prior to his death on November 8, 2011.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Huffman of Hutchinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Huffman; and daughter-in-law, Susie Hornbeck Huffman.

Cremation has taken place. To honor Carlene’s wishes, no services are planned.

Lannis’ favorite pastime was attending his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s school and community events.&nbsp;

On March 3, 1979, he married Rebecca ‘Becky’ Anderson in Hutchinson. They shared 41 years of marriage.

Lannis is survived by wife, Becky; daughters, Karla Kahmeyer, Kristi Kahmeyer Laing (Richard), and Heather Starks (Jeremy); son, Josh Bether; sister, Vicky Goetz; brother, Lyle Kahmeyer (Shirley); six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Fulks died at home on July 23, 2020. Dorothy Lum Fulks was born in Drew, Mississippi on May 8, 1927. She was the daughter of Sidney Edward and Erma Ellen (Evans) Lum.

She married John Harvey Fulks in 1945, and they moved to Kansas in 1949. John and Dorothy had five children: Ellen, Sharon, Linda, Nancy, and John.

She became a teacher and taught first at Nickerson Elementary, then at McCandless Elementary until her retirement after 37 years. Her students still remember her unique lessons on bread making, butter churning, and sewing.

Dorothy was an avid reader and a life-long learner, taking classes during summers, on weekends, and by correspondence to earn her bachelor's and master's degrees from Emporia State University. She continued to add to her knowledge, even after receiving her college degrees; studying nature to become a Master Gardener, learning Japanese, Spanish, and Russian languages, even touring Russia and Europe with her husband, John.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 60 years. She was a member of Heart of Kansas Quilt Guild, inspiring the members with hundreds of quilts created and given to many. She joined the Honorary Teacher's sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma, and was a member for over 50 years.

Survivors include: children, Ellen (Joe) Wixom, Tucson, AZ, Sharon Fulks, Gardner, Linda (Jim) Parker, Hutchinson, Nancy (Louis) Crowl, Salina, John (Peggy) Fulks, Divide, CO; grandchildren, Laura, Jeremy, Charlie, Jenni, and Melissa; and great-grandchildren, Tobias and Colin (Nancy), Chandler, Daemon, Derrick, Jaelyn, Maddi, and Jake (John).

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John, of 60 years; as well as her parents; eight sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Jeanine Rishel officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020, with the family present from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

Marvin Rea Keyser, 72, of Hutchinson, died July 23, 2020, at his home. He was born March 16, 1948, in Hutchinson, to John O. and Ethel I. (Shinkle) Keyser.

Marvin graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1966 and served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1974. He graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 1979 and received his bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 1981. Marvin worked 30 years for the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services as a manager and trainer. He loved the Kansas State Fair as a kid growing up in Hutchinson. After retirement, he worked for the fair as the Ticket Taker Supervisor and as a Marketing Assistant at the 2019 fair.

He loved music of all kinds and HCC and KU men’s basketball. Marvin was a ‘punny’ guy with a dry sense of humor. He would now say, ‘I found Jesus . . . and He’s at home!’ Marvin was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.

In 1967, he married Billie Thrift. They divorced in 1985. On April 25, 1992, Marvin married Margo E. Lytton, in Wichita. She survives, of the home.

Also surviving are sons, Michael Rea Keyser (Kelly), Chad Roberts, all of Wichita; daughter, Cami Hoag (Sean), South Hutchinson; granddaughters, Morgan Faulds, Colorado, Madison Rea Keyser Koehn (Cory), Anaheim, CA, Xanth Roberts, Altus, OK, Shaundasey Hoag, Wichita, Saijah Cook-Roberts, Haysville; favorite grandson, Austin Hoag, South Hutchinson; three great-grandsons; brother, John Keyser (Gwen), Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Marie Keyser, Hutchinson; ex-wife, Billie Eberle, Oakley; lots of Lytton in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert Alvin ‘Bob’ Trostle, Sr., 87, died July 23, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born August 23, 1932, in Wichita, to Melvin Porter and Olive May (Gallant) Trostle.

Bob graduated from El Dorado High School in 1950, and attended Phillips University, Enid, OK, and Friends University, Wichita. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and Europe from 1951-1955. Bob worked for AT&amp;T (formerly Southwestern Bell Telephone) as the area manager for installation and repair. He retired April 8, 1989, after 38 years of service. Bob was a lifetime member of the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68. In addition, he belonged to the Telephone Pioneers Association. Bob was a member of First Christian Church, El Dorado.

On February 25, 1954, Bob married Dona Faye Shields, in Weisbaden, Germany.&nbsp;

Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dona; children, Terri Sherwood, Robert Trostle, Jr. (Michele), Pamela Holland (Jeff), and Lisa Uhl (George); 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, and per Bob’s wishes, there will be no service. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.

Tom was a 1958 graduate of Trego Community High School and served nine years in the United States Navy. He retired as a letter carrier from the United States Postal Service and then retired from Arconic Aerospace in 2019.

Tom enjoyed tinkering in his shop and taking care of his lawn. He loved horses and retired as a horse farrier. Tom’s greatest love and most rewarding job, however, was being a husband, father and grandfather.

On August 10, 1985, Tom married the love of his life, Susie K. Lear, in Hutchinson. They shared over thirty-four years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Deines of Hutchinson; son, Troy (Kyla) Gaston of Point Clear, AL; daughters, Stacy (Chris) Cahoon of Stanton, ND, and Tammy (Ross) Clouston of Meriden; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Deines of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Rane, Ros, Tegan, Kenzie, Caysen and Carley; sisters, Karla Johnson of Manhattan, and Leslie (Kevin) Owen of Camdenton, MO; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gary Nelson Lane, 52, of Hutchinson, died July 21, 2020. He was born May 19, 1968, in Moundridge, to Nelson R. and Norma G. (Schroeder) Lane.

Gary was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and had his own mechanic shop. He loved everything about automobile racing – from building motors to pit crew to driving.

Gary is survived by daughter, Rachel Lane (Dakota Dale), Hutchinson; step-children, Holli Baughman, Stafford, Joey Baughman, Hutchinson, Cody Babcock, Hutchinson, Brooke Warren, Kansas City, MO; mother, Norma Barnes, Hutchinson; sister, Karen Roberts (Jeff), South Hutchinson; nephew, Matthew Pinkston, South Hutchinson; nieces, Alexis Danielson (Shawn), Wichita, and Taylor Roberts, South Hutchinson.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th&nbsp;Ave., with Pastor Jerry Stokely officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.

Cali Grace Stowell, five months old, died July 13, 2020. She was born February 4, 2020, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Kelly and Erin Stowell. 

In Cali’s short time, she brought tremendous joy to everyone that was blessed to meet her. She had the cutest little grin and she was absolutely perfect in every way.

Cali is preceded in death by her sister, Shelby Jane Stowell and great grandfather, Fay Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Kelly and Erin; sister, Brittany Stowell; grandparents, Gwen and Bryan Stowell and Sandi and Russ Crozier; great grandmothers, Beverly Smith and Mrs. George Sakai; many aunts, uncles, cousins and people that loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Margaret K. Barrett, 81, died July 23, 2020, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. She was born November 15, 1938, in Beloit, to Warren and Ava (Broadbent) Kelley.

Margaret graduated from Jewell High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crafts, reading, and leatherwork. Margaret’s greatest joy was making scrapbooks for her family and spoiling her four grandchildren.

On April 9, 1966, she married James ‘Jim’ Barrett in Jewell.&nbsp;

Margaret is survived by husband of 54 years, Jim of Hutchinson; children: Daniel Barrett (Wendy), and Michelle Silas (Dan), all of Nickerson; brother, Floyd Kelley (Paula) of South Hutchinson; grandchildren, Stefani Barrett, Connor Barrett (Logan Gitchell), Caden Silas, and Gage Silas; and great-grandchildren, Piper and Skarlett Barrett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and a grandson, Logan Barrett.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson, with The Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.&nbsp;
