Michael Wayne Schoenhoff, Sr., 65, died August 29, 2021, at his home.&nbsp; He was born July 18, 1956, in Hutchinson, to John and Barbara Jeannine (Diggs) Schoenhoff.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR.&nbsp;

Michael is survived by:&nbsp; children, Michael Schoenhoff, Jr. (Karen) of Sylvia, Mason Schoenhoff (Katie) of Halstead, and Erica Scheuler (Matt) of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Johnny Schoenhoff, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany Reyes (Nestor), Gage Schoenhoff, Deana Johnson, Josslyn Schoenhoff, Jaiden Valencia, and Avery Valencia; and great-granddaughter, Brinley.

William Lee Wulfemeyer, 78, passed away August 30, 2021, at the Pleasant Hills Assisted Living Facility.&nbsp; He was a resident of Abbyville.&nbsp; Lee was born November 9, 1942, in Hutchinson, to Ray and Ernestine Wulfemeyer.&nbsp;

He was a graduate of Fairfield North High School, prior to district consolidation.&nbsp; Lee graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Natural Sciences.&nbsp; He worked briefly for Hercules Inc. at the Sunflower Ammunition Plant as a chemist before returning to Abbyville to farm and ranch with his father, Ray.&nbsp; Lee, as he was known by all, played on the township basketball team.&nbsp; On June 17, 1978, he married Janet Elaine Johnson.&nbsp; Part of this blessed union included becoming the father of 13-year-old Troy.&nbsp; Three years later, he and Jan became proud parents of Julie, completing the set.&nbsp; For a time, the family split time between Haven and Abbyville, as Lee continued farming and ranching and Jan worked in Wichita.&nbsp; Following Julie’s graduation from high school, Lee and Jan moved back to Abbyville permanently, eventually settling into his childhood home upon the death of his father.&nbsp; Lee began and oversaw the transition of the chicken coop that he collected eggs from as a child into the Red Roost, his own entertainment venue modelled after a 1950’s honky-tonk, which hosted numerous live bands and dancing events for friends and family of all ages.&nbsp; When not helping friends and family, he was often seen driving around with his beloved dog, Willie.&nbsp; Both were usually wearing ball caps.&nbsp; Lee suffered a stroke in 2018 and spent time recuperating at Thorne Care Center at Wesley Towers in Hutchinson and at home, being cared for by his wife.&nbsp; He eventually required the supportive services at Pleasant Hills Assisted Living Facility, where he passed away under the loving eyes of his family.&nbsp;

Lee is survived by: &nbsp;wife, Jan, of the home; son Troy, Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Julie, Mankato, Minnesota; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.&nbsp;

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021, at Abbyville Community Church.&nbsp; For the safety of all, masks will be required. Those experiencing symptoms are asked not to attend. Burial will follow at a later date in the Abbyville Cemetery.

Anita “Jeanne” Hapgood, 76, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, with her two sons by her side at McPherson Hospital. Jeanne was born on July 27, 1945, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Neal and Mary (Borth) Esau. She and her siblings were the first in their lineage of family to be born outside of Germany as the Borth and Esau families were immigrants from Eastern Europe. She graduated from Windom High School in 1963 and continued her education at the Adele Hale Business College in Hutchinson. On November 13, 1963, Jeanne was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Byron Hapgood at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Lindsborg. The young couple established their first home in McPherson and was blessed with the birth of two sons, Tony and Bobby. Bob preceded Jeanne in death after 43 years of marriage on May 1, 2007. In her earlier years, Jeanne worked at Farmers Alliance, but once the boys were born, she took some time off to raise them. She then went back to work as a medical transcriptionist, working in the offices of Dr. Richard Johnson, Dr. Allen Hooper, Dr. Samuel Claassen, Dr. Richard Watson, and Memorial Hospital before retirement. Jeanne was a loving wife and mother. She was faithful attending the boys’ school and sporting events. She and Bob enjoyed going to KU games to watch Bobby play in the KU Jayhawk basketball band. Having a musically talented family, she attended many concerts and musical performances throughout her life. Many special memories were made on family vacations, traveling to Florida, Arizona, California, Mississippi, Hawaii, and Germany. She was an avid KU Jayhawks, KC Royals, and KC Chiefs fan. She was an animal lover and leaves behind her two furry family members, Nipper and Moxie, her cats, now living with Tony. Survivors include: her two sons, Tony Hapgood of Kansas City, MO and Bobby Hapgood of Lawrence, KS; a grandson, Julian Hapgood of Kansas City, MO; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Maynard Esau and Joyce Esau Gordon. Norman Ellis Dauber, 90, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Sterling, Kansas, passed away August 27, 2021, at New Mark Care Center in Kansas City, Missouri. 

He was born on October 29, 1930, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Chester and Kathryn (Nickel) Dauber. Norman graduated from Shirley High School, Shirley, Arkansas with the class of 1948. He resided in Sterling from 1992 to 2017, formerly of Seattle, Washington. Norman learned car upholstery alongside his grandfather Peter Nickel of Inman, Kansas. Norman served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Sterling; Sterling American Legion Post #128; Vintage Motor Car Club of America; and the Lions Club in Sterling. Norman loved cars, especially his 1966 Mustang Convertible. Which he would drive in local parades with his wife. He enjoyed his traveling adventures in Europe, Hawaii, and New Zealand. Norman was a friend to all who knew him. 

On May 27, 1958, Norman was united in marriage with Ida Mary Schader in Sterling, Kansas. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Becky Lee Erickson of Kansas City, MO; brother, Lyle Dauber; and four sisters, Evelyn Lilly, Belva Chang, Vesta Brue, and Elaine Thornton. Norman is preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the United Presbyterian Church, Sterling with Pastor Melissa Krabbe officiating. The service will be live streamed on the United Presbyterian Church’s Facebook page. Burial will be at the Sterling Community Cemetery with military honors by the Ft. Riley Honor Guard. He was born on September 23, 1948 to Bill and Elvira (Livingston) who preceded him in death.&nbsp; Billy graduated from Salina Central High and served in the Army.&nbsp; Most of his adult life he resided in Denver, CO. What he enjoyed most was fishing, skiing, and driving fast cars. Surviving relatives include Sharon Garner-Gray; one son, Jeffrey of Denver and one daughter Christy (Marlon) ; four granddaughters, Jerann, Jamaine, Jayla and Jourdan; two great granddaughters, Aaylah and Aayana, all of Kansas City, MO.; two sisters, Audrey (Reubon) Wright and Wanda (Cleveland) Oaks and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Spearman Texas to Richard and Evelyn Kingsley, graduated from Spearman High School in 1961 and attended Lubbock Christian College and York College where he met Leann (Hanke) and they were married on February 6, 1964 in York Nebraska.&nbsp; They lived in York, where Gary worked at Standard Brands and had their first child in 1965.&nbsp; Gary took a job with Hesston Corp as a technical illustrator in 1965 and they moved to Newton.&nbsp; Gary worked at Hesston Corp (now AGCO) and eventually became the supervisor of the Graphic Design Department until he retired in February 2011.&nbsp; Gary eventually graduated from Bethel College in 1983.

Gary loved playing golf (he had the nickname of Bear on the Hesston Golf course), wheeling and dealing with his Hesston Belt Buckle business, traveling to flea markets to sell his wares, he loved old cars, especially early Ford Mustangs.&nbsp; In his later years he loved watching golf and game shows on TV, and flipping channels.&nbsp; He spent lots of time with his church family, his family and friends having game nights and meeting at Norms to just hang with his pals.

Gary had a deep relationship with God.&nbsp; He was a faithful member of the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ, having served as a deacon in the past, leading singing, teaching Bible classes and holding up the Bass line while singing at church.

Gary loved his family.&nbsp; He is survived by his wife, Leann.&nbsp; Brothers: Larry (Mary) Kingsley of Gainsville, TX and Danny Kingsley of Lubbock, TX. Brother in Law Richard (Karen) Hanke of Choctaw, OK&nbsp; Children: Geoff (Rhonda) Kingsley of Edmond, OK, Deborah Kingsley of Newton, Brian (Kelly) Kingsley of Olpe.&nbsp; Grandchildren: AJ (Latiffany) Kingsley of Kansas City, MO (great granddaughters: Ayanna and Cambria);&nbsp; Jeanna Watson-Tolbert (great grandkids, McKaelah, Kembran and Mellanie), Maryn (Logan) Thompson of Bartlett, TN (great granddaughter Joanna); Caleb (Abbie) Kingsley of Maumelle, AR; Asa Kingsley and fiancée Addie of Edmond, OK.&nbsp; Haley Kingsley and fiancée Jacob of Topeka;&nbsp; Maycee Kingsley of Emporia; Mia Kingsley of Olpe.&nbsp; Numerous nieces, nephews, church family members and his three cats who made him laugh every day.

Preceding him in death are his parents, In Laws, Harry and Ena Hanke, Sister Patricia Bassett and Grandson Preston Tolbert.

Mary Catherine “Cathie” Ruth was born December 9, 1937, in Newton,&nbsp; to Robert Wilderman and Cecile Marie (Stratton) Ruth.&nbsp; She died on August 30, 2021 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston, Kansas.

Cathie attended all twelve years of her early education in Hesston, graduating from Hesston Academy in 1955.&nbsp; She then pursued her nursing studies at Bethel Deaconess School of Nursing, Newton,&nbsp; receiving her R.N. degree in 1960.

The major part of her nursing career was spent at Peabody Memorial Nursing Home, then at Bethesda Home, Goessel.&nbsp; Throughout the years, she formed many close friendships with the people that she cared for, their families, and her co-workers.

Cathie was a lifelong member of the Hesston United Methodist Church where she was actively involved in the life of the church until health issues no longer permitted.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Cecile Ruth; and one sister, Martha Ann Ruth.

Surviving are sister, Becky Ruth and husband, Larry Fuqua of Hesston; one nephew and two nieces and their families, Phil and Kami Regier, Hesston, Rachel and Brad Short, Archbold, Ohio, Molly and Mike Anderson, Williamsburg, Virginia; and aunt, Wilma (Stratton) Rife, Lawrence.

He enjoyed aircraft, woodworking, anything mechanical, farming and spending time with his family. Judith ‘Judy’ Kay Kurz, 78, formerly of Hutchinson, passed away August 28, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, Wichita.&nbsp; She was born August 31, 1942, in Hutchinson, to Robert Dever and Billie (Calvin) Elser.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Hutchinson High School.&nbsp; In subsequent years, she served in various leadership positions within the Order of the Eastern Star, the Social Order of the Beauceant, Kearny County Wheathearts, Kansas Wheathearts, the Kearny County Wheat Queen Pageants and the Hamilton County Queen Pageants.

On October 22, 1960, Judy married Robert ‘Bob’ Keith Kurz, in Hutchinson.&nbsp; They shared over 60 years of marriage.&nbsp; Their early years (1962-1964) included stints in Colorado, California, and Alaska, where Bob served in the Army.&nbsp; They spent most of the remaining years living in Western Kansas, supporting the Kurz family farm, and raising their two children, Rob and Toni.&nbsp; During this period, Judy held multiple office management positions in Syracuse, Kansas, and served as a Postal Service officer in Coolidge, KS.&nbsp; In 2012, Bob and Judy relocated to Hutchinson, where they joined the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church and participated regularly in its fund-raising activities.&nbsp; In late 2019, they moved to the Kansas Masonic Home in Wichita.

Judy was a wonderful mother, Nana, and great-grandmother, and deeply cherished time with her family, church community, and fellow members of the organizations in which she served.&nbsp; She also enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling with Bob and their kids.&nbsp; At home, she was an avid reader and loved connecting with others on the computer.&nbsp; Judy’s hobbies included bird watching and playing cards, and she enjoyed collecting stamps as well as ornamental models of rabbits and Santa Clauses.

Judy is survived by:&nbsp; husband, Robert Kurz of Wichita; daughter, Toni (Kevin) Clinton of Knoxville, TN; son, Robert W. Marjorie R. (Goering) Stucky was born to Jonathan J. and Katie E. (Zerger) Goering on April 17, 1929 at the McPherson County Hospital, McPherson, Kansas.  She grew up on a farm ½ mile east of the Eden Church.  She was number 9 in a family of twelve – four girls and eight boys – all of them living to adulthood.  She died on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Moundridge, Kansas.

After attending Pioneer Grade School for eight years, she graduated from Moundridge High School in 1947, and then went to Bethel College for one year and taught grades 1 – 4 at King City Grade School in Elyria for one year.

Marjorie was baptized in 1945 and joined Eden Mennonite Church, where she was a member all her life and was very involved with various church activities and roles.  She married Marvin Stucky on June 13, 1948 and they made their home in Elyria, where Marvin worked at C.D. Kaufman’s Service Station.  After the Mid-Kansas Coop bought the station, he worked for them for 35 years.  After Marvin retired in 1987, they spent the school year at AMBS in Elkhart, Indiana, doing volunteer work at the seminary.  In 1988, they built a duplex in Pine Village and retired there doing many volunteer jobs, such as yard work and painting homes and rooms when they changed residents.

Four children were born to them: Marvetta, Murray, Max and Morris. They all attended Elyria Grade School and graduated from Moundridge High School.  Marvetta went to Beauty School and the boys all graduated from various colleges.  They bought an RV and traveled to many states in the U.S. and visited with Reuben Goerings in Phoenix and Harvey Goerings in Columbus, Ohio, and many other places.

Marjorie’s hobbies were sewing and piecing quilts, which her mother taught her at an early age.  She also loved to quilt, and hurried home from school when her mother had a quilting, so she could put some stiches into the quilt.

For several years, she cleaned the Elyria Grade School and then worked at the Eden Church Office for thirteen years.  She was Pastor Walt Neufeld’s church office secretary.

After her grandchildren were born, she spent several days taking care of them.  There were nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren that needed care at various times.  One grandson, Ben, had a Willms tumor removed (and also a kidney) when he was 14 months old.  Their first granddaughter, Natalie, died during heart surgery at seven months of age.

Survivors include her children, Marvetta and Shelly Sperling; Andy, Jackie, Kate and Evan Sperling; Micah, Stephanie, Jacob and Hailey Sperling; Murray, Melody, and Michael Stucky; Max, Lynda, Ben, and Madeleine, Abe and Sam Stucky; and Morris, Diana, Grant and Hope Stucky; and brother, Marlo and Ruby Goering.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; granddaughter, Natalie Stucky; parents, Jonas and Katie Goering; sisters, Meta Juhnke, Mary Ann Preheim, and Laura Krehbiel; brothers, Elmer, Harvey, Phil, Reuben, Emil, and Don Goering; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m., at the church. Norma "Sarah" May Davis (Coupland) Davis went to her glory on August 24th, 2021 at the age of 101. She passed into the arms of Jesus peacefully in her sleep at the home of her daughter, surrounded by loved ones.&nbsp;

Norma spent many of her years in service to the Lord. She was a devoted leader to the Girls Auxiliary of the First Southern Baptist Church in Russell. She spent many hundreds of hours cranking out the church bulletin for the First Baptist Church of Towanda Kansas on her own Ditto Machine. She taught sign language and was always known to say her goodbyes in ASL with the sign for "I Love You". She was a devoted penpal over the years, even sharing the love of Christ with those behind bars. She was a lover of dance and an extraordinary artist.&nbsp; Most notably she had a true gift for sharing the gospel in such simple and tangible ways to anyone, but especially her children and grandchildren.

Norma was born to Albert Coupland and Stella (Waterman) in Floyd Iowa on August 15th 1920. She leaves behind her daughter Janis Brown and husband Terry of Overland Park, daughter Susan Kersenbrock of Andover, son David Davis and wife Nina of Benton, grandchildren Doug, Ron, Trae, KC, Tesa, Prairie, Sarah, and Mia. She had a multitude of great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren.&nbsp;

Norma "Sarah" May Davis (Coupland) Davis went to her glory on August 24th, 2021 at the age of 101. She passed into the arms of Jesus peacefully in her sleep at the home of her daughter, surrounded by loved ones.&nbsp;Norma spent many of her years in service to the Lord. She was a devoted leader to the Girls Auxiliary of the First Southern Baptist Church in Russell. She spent many hundreds of hours cranking out the church bulletin for the First Baptist Church of Towanda Kansas on her own Ditto Machine. She taught sign language and was always known to say her goodbyes in ASL with the sign for "I Love You". She was a devoted penpal over the years, even sharing the love of Christ with those behind bars. She was a lover of dance and an extraordinary artist.&nbsp; Most notably she had a true gift for sharing the gospel in such simple and tangible ways to anyone, but especially her children and grandchildren.Norma was born to Albert Coupland and Stella (Waterman) in Floyd Iowa on August 15th 1920. She leaves behind her daughter Janis Brown and husband Terry of Overland Park, daughter Susan Kersenbrock of Andover, son David Davis and wife Nina of Benton, grandchildren Doug, Ron, Trae, KC, Tesa, Prairie, Sarah, and Mia. Shelly attended Washington Grade School, Park School, McPherson Junior High and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson,&nbsp; in 1973. She then attended Sidney's School of Cosmotology, Hutchinson, Kansas. Shelly was a member of the First Christian Church in McPherson. Through the years Shelly worked as a hairdresser for Magic Mirror, co-owner of Grass Snatchers mowing service, co-owner of the Ritz Hair Salon, was a CNA for a private home health care facility for the elderly, she worked as a hostess for the Country Club, until she became owner and operator of Neighbor's Cafe', McPherson, for 24 happy years. Shelly enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs, golfing, her dogs, dancing, she loved music, baking, giving second chances to people, telling stories, hosting parties, hootie hoo's at Neighbors Cafe, loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her cafe' family. Michelle Ann Currier was united in marriage to Cameron Wiggins on January 16, 1988 in McPherson. This union established their first home together in McPherson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Cameron Wiggins, of McPherson; her sister Debbie Sisson and her husband Steve, of Americus, and her brother Mark Currier, of Rose Hill; other relatives, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Darleen Cora Risley, 73, of Sterling, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 28, 2021. She was born May 19, 1948, in Columbia, South Carolina, the daughter of Harry Jr. and Pauline Wright Hendricks. Darleen was a lifelong Rice County resident. She graduated from Alden High School with the class of 1966 and received her Cosmetology License from Sydney’s Hair Dressing School in Hutchinson. Darleen owned and operated The Beauty Parlour in Sterling and was a beautician for 54 years. She also owned and operated the 8th Street Alley ReDesigns with her sister, Dolores Nash, in Sterling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sterling; member of Beta Sigma Phi; treasurer for the Food Bank in Sterling; and volunteered at Reins of Hope, Hutchinson. Darleen enjoyed crafts, repurposing furniture and enjoyed decorating for Christmas. On December 24, 1966, Darleen was united in marriage with Robert Miller in Raymond. They later divorced. On January 1, 1982, Darleen was united in marriage with Doug Risley in Sterling. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her seven children, Stephen Miller and wife Traci of Great Bend, KS, Tara Claussen and husband Craig of Springdale, AR, Shandi Webster and husband Ted of Hutchinson, KS, Heather Percival and husband Matt of Wichita, KS, Heidi Taphorn and husband Tom of Manhattan, Jacob Walton of McPherson, and Tamie Hinote of Wichita,; two brothers, Harry Hendricks III and wife Susan of Raymond, and Geno Hendricks and wife Koni of Raymond; two sisters Dolores Nash and husband Dave of Panama City Beach, FL, and Dianna Pearson of Noble, OK; sixteen grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Jason Dean Titus, 44, died August 26, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. He was born August 14, 1977, in Wichita, to Keith and Debbie (Stafford) Titus.

Jason graduated from Sedgwick High School.  He started working at the Dillons Warehouse in 2000, and continued working there until his health began to decline.  Jason loved fishing, the Pittsburg Steelers, and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 795.

On January 23, 2004, he married Nicole Ybarra, in Hutchinson.

Jason is survived by:  his wife, Nicole of Hutchinson; children, Kayla Titus of Hutchinson, Ashlynn Titus of Manhattan, Nathan Titus and Migel Jones, both of Hutchinson; father, Keith Titus (Belinda) of Severy, KS; mother, Debbie Davis of Wichita; sister, Misty Crawford (James) of Wichita; nieces, Mia DeWitt, Freya Goin, Victoria Goin and Camille Stevens (Martin); nephews, Caleb DeWitt and Amos Swepston III;  great-nieces, Lilyann and Felicity; great-nephews, Omari, and Alex; mother-in-law, Rosetta Ybarra; and  father-in-law, Michael Ybarra (Jerioldine), all of Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tony and Irene Stafford, and his paternal grandparents, Margaret Johnson and Corbon Titus.

Doris worked as a Elementary Teacher and Special Education Teacher at Garden City and Pratt. She attended Kansas State University for 2 years and then went to St. Mary's of the Plains where she received her Bachelor in Education. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Ladies Guild. She enjoyed camping, gardening and homemaking.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Jared Ethan Condray of Hudson; daughter, Julianne (Ben) Hemphill of Kansas City, Missouri; granddaughter, Jackie (Christian) Folkers of Great Bend; grandsons, Preston Hemphill and Logan Hemphill both of Kansas City, Missouri; great-grandson, Clayton Folkers; great-granddaughter, Faith Folkers; brothers, Lowell (Sandy) Bosse of Wheaton and Kenneth (Marcia) Bosse of Independence; and sisters, Donna (Lynn) Spencer of Bentonville, Arkansas and DeAnn (Harlow) Clements of Olathe.

Sally Elvira Bond, 75, died August 27, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born August 21, 1946, to Orval Harry and Elvira Elda (King) Andereck.

Sally graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1964, Hutchinson Community College in 1966, and Emporia State University in 1968.  She retired after 34 years of service as a machinist at Cessna/Eaton.  Sally was a member of Mid State Street Rods, Central Kansas Corvette Association, and Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church.

On November 22, 1968, she married Steven Louis Bond, at Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church.  They shared almost 39 years of marriage before his death on September 5, 2007.

Sally is survived by:  son, Jeffrey Bond of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Dotty Mount (Paul) of Sanibel, FL, and Nancy Frank (Dan) of Hutchinson; and brother, Dean Andereck (Becky) of Hoisington.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Avenue, Hutchinson, with The Reverend Richard Brooks officiating. Sally Elvira Bond, 75, died August 27, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born August 21, 1946, to Orval Harry and Elvira Elda (King) Andereck.Sally graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1964, Hutchinson Community College in 1966, and Emporia State University in 1968. She retired after 34 years of service as a machinist at Cessna/Eaton. Sally was a member of Mid State Street Rods, Central Kansas Corvette Association, and Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church.On November 22, 1968, she married Steven Louis Bond, at Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church. They shared almost 39 years of marriage before his death on September 5, 2007.Sally is survived by: son, Jeffrey Bond of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Dotty Mount (Paul) of Sanibel, FL, and Nancy Frank (Dan) of Hutchinson; and brother, Dean Andereck (Becky) of Hoisington.She was preceded in death by her parents.Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Avenue, Hutchinson, with The Reverend Richard Brooks officiating. Peggy Henson, 68, of Hutchinson, died August 27, 2021, at her home. She was born August 21, 1953, in Hutchinson, to Elmer and Ella (Jenkins) Barkman.

Peggy graduated from Buhler High School in 1971. She worked as an operations manager at NCO, a collections agent for Carr Law Firm in Wichita, and retired as a para for Buhler USD 313. Peggy enjoyed shopping, gardening, and caring for her pets. But most of all, she loved being a grandma and spending time with her family.

On May 19, 1973, she married John Henson, in Hutchinson. He died January 5, 2012.

Peggy is survived by: her son, Chad Henson (Christina); granddaughters, Kylie and Kinzlee Henson; sister, Sheryl Heim (Jess); brother, Rick Barkman (Irene), all of Hutchinson; niece, Pam Elam of Hutchinson; nephews, Jeff Graves (Julie) of Hutchinson, Bret Heim (Angie) of Moran, Mitch Osborne (Ayla) of Maize; and companion, Ken Barham of Newton.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Barbara Graves; and nephew, Todd Graves.

Angeline “Kiki” Cappony, 94, of Hutchinson, died August 21, 2021, at Pleasant Hills. She was born November 27, 1926, in Gary, IN, to George and Estelle (Gallanis) Cappony.

Kiki graduated from Benson High School in Gary, IN; received her B.S. from Hanover College, M.S. from the University of Wisconsin; and an Administration Certificate from Fort Hays State University. She taught physical education at Key West High School, Key West, FL, for 4 years, then at Wichita State University, before moving to Hutchinson, where she taught net sports, health, and drill teams at Hutchinson High School before retiring in 1990.

Kiki was a strong influence to many young women through her leadership of drill teams at Hutchinson High School. She instilled confidence, motivation and challenged her dancers to always do their best.  In 1984, Kiki took the Salt Shakers dance team to England, where they performed in London at Shakespeare Park, and competed with several teams in several events.

She was a member of AAHPER, KAHPER, Highlands Golf Association, Friends of the Cosmosphere, Hutchinson Hospital Auxiliary, and the Altar Guild at Grace Episcopal Church.

Kiki is survived by: her sister-in-law, Martha Cappony; 8 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sparrow Cappony, and a sister, Christine Argeroudis.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date, at Grace Episcopal Church, 2 Hyde Park Dr., Hutchinson. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
