Then came the Monarchs magical 7th inning. &nbsp;Clayton Chadwick lasered a 3-2 pitch over the right field fence and perhaps Carey Park's Salt City Splash to tie the game at 2-2. &nbsp;After Luke Sartori flew out to left for the 1st out of the inning, it was Taylor Barber's turn as the former Blue Dragon smashed a 2-0 pitch to left that set of lightning bolts north of Hutchinson and gave the Monarchs the lead 3-2.

Two more Monarch runs were added on a fielders choice and a Tanner Schragg walk with the bases loaded before Chadwick grounded out to end the big inning with the Monarchs leading 5-2.

Aaron Haase came on in relief for Hutchinson to pitch 2 innings giving up no runs on no hits while striking out 4 Cheney batters to earn the win. Haase is 2-0 on the season. &nbsp;Cheney's Bave Kurtzhalz took the loss after giving up the 4 runs in the 7th.

Dylan Nedved was 2-2 with a run scored while Anthony Mackenzie, Barber and Scott Wolverton had multiple hits with 2 each. &nbsp;Hutch pounded out 11 hits and left 11 runners stranded.

DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Jon Rahm will move to the top of world golf rankings after a convincing victory at the Memorial.

Rahm closed with a 3-over 75 for a 9-under total, three strokes ahead of second-round co-leader Ryan Palmer at Muirfield Village. The 25-year-old Spaniard was leading by seven shots on Sunday before a double-bogey on the par-5 11th cut into his advantage. Rahm later received a two-stroke penalty after being initially credited with a five-stroke win.

To become the No. 1 golfer, Rahm had to win the tournament and hope Rory McIlroy finished no better than third. McIlroy tied for 32nd.

Nicklaus, wife recovered from coronavirus

DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Jack Nicklaus says he's recovered from a health scare.

The golf legend revealed during Sunday's CBS telecast of the Memorial that he and his wife tested positive for the coronavirus at the onset of the pandemic.

He said his wife had no COVID-19 symptoms, while Nicklaus had a sore throat and a cough. Nicklaus said they were home in North Palm Beach, Florida, from March 13 "until we were done with it" on about April 20.

Nicklaus and his wife, Barbara, turned 80 a month apart at the start of the year.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Richard Childress Racing had a successful day at Texas Motor Speedway.

Austin Dillon stayed in front after a restart with two laps to go and beat rookie Tyler Reddick to the checkered flag. That gave Childress a 1-2 NASCAR Cup finish and quite a show for spectators spread out in the stands.

Dillon raced to his third career win and first since Daytona at the start of the 2018 season. He stayed in front on three late restarts, the first after an incident with 29 laps left that shuffled the fast car of Ryan Blaney to a lap back.

Joey Logano finished third, with Kyle Busch coming in fourth a day after he finished ahead of the field in two races. Series points leader Kevin Harvick was fifth.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby is dealing with an unspecified health issue. Crosby left a team scrimmage early on Saturday and then was held out of practice a day later. 

Neither head coach Mike Sullivan nor assistant coach Mark Recchi (REH'-kee) offered any detail on what might be ailing Crosby. 

The Penguins have about two weeks to get ready to face Montreal in the qualifying round of the playoffs.

UNDATED (AP) — Philadelphia second baseman Neil Walker, Texas pitcher Edinson Vólquez and Pittsburgh pitcher Derek Holland have made opening-day rosters.

Blue Jays looking at alternate sites for home games

TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays want to play their home games in a major league ballpark this season. That's according to pitcher Anthony Bass, who says the front office is working to find a major league ballpark for the team. 

Bass said he spoke with general manager Ross Atkins and emphasized that players prefer a big league stadium. The veteran reliever added that players are willing to share a home venue with another team and make other sacrifices.

Canada denied the Blue Jays' request to play at Rogers Centre because the regular-season schedule would require frequent travel back and forth from the United States, where COVID-19 cases are surging.

The team's minor league options are its training facility in Dunedin (duh-NEE'-dehn), Florida, or its Triple-A affiliate stadium in Buffalo.

NFL players urge league to address health concerns

UNDATED (AP) — NFL players are publicly pleading with the league to address several health and safety concerns on the eve of training camp. 

The league informed teams on Saturday that training camps will open on time even though discussions with the players' union regarding testing for the coronavirus and other health and safety protocols are ongoing. Rookies for Houston and Kansas City are set to report Monday and rookies for other teams are due on Tuesday. Players for all teams are scheduled to report by July 28. 

Many prominent players expressed their thoughts in a social media blitz Sunday.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, whose wife is pregnant, wrote: "We want to play football but we also want to protect our loved ones."

And Saints quarterback Drew Brees tweeted, "If the NFL doesn't do their part to keep players healthy there is no football in 2020." He wrote, "We need Football! We need sports! We need hope!"

Hamilton wins 8th Hungarian GP to equal Schumacher F1 record

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton has won the Hungarian Grand Prix for the eighth time to equal Michael Schumacher's single-venue record and take the championship lead. 

Hamilton's latest victory from pole position was as comfortable as the nearly 9-second margin over Max Verstappen suggested. The British driver's 86th GP win moved him just five behind Schumacher's F1 record of 91. 

Hamilton is also demanding more support from Formula One's governing body and urged other drivers to make more of an effort in the fight against racism. 

Some drivers took a knee and others again did not in disorganized scenes before Sunday's race. As in the previous two races this season, all drivers were supposed to gather before the national anthem to stand while wearing "End Racism" T-shirts. DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Jack Nicklaus revealed Sunday during the CBS telecast of the Memorial that he and his wife tested positive for the coronavirus at the onset of the pandemic.

He said his wife had no COVID-19 symptoms, while Nicklaus had a sore throat and a cough. Nicklaus said they were home in North Palm Beach, Florida, from March 13 “until we were done with it” on about April 20.

“It didn’t last very long, and we were very, very fortunate, very lucky,” Nicklaus said. “Barbara and I are both of the age, both of us 80 years old, that is an at-risk age. Our hearts go out to the people who did lose their lives and their families. We were just a couple of the lucky ones.”

The Memorial has no spectators, and Nicklaus sightings have been rare this week because of protocols in the PGA Tour’s return to golf amid the pandemic.

Nicklaus shared the news when the Memorial was coming out of a weather delay in the final round. The few times he has been seen, he was wearing a mask and keeping his distance.

Tiger Woods, a five-time winner of the Memorial, said he had known for some time Nicklaus had tested positive.

“The fact that they got through it and they’re safe and here and healthy, it’s all good news for all of us who are a part of golf and who looked up to Jack and (have) been around Barbara all these years,” Woods said.

Nicklaus had a remote press conference on Tuesday and said he would shake the hand of whoever wins the Memorial, a tradition at the tournament he created.

“If they don’t want to shake my hand, that’s fine, I’ll give them a fist bump or an elbow bump, but I’m not going to give them COVID-19, so that’s ... I wouldn’t put anybody in that position,” he said Tuesday.

He said again on CBS that he’ll shake hands if the winner wants to, but he would be fine if the winner doesn’t.

After a brief moment of indecision with Jon Rahm, it was a fist bump.

“I’ve been dreaming of that handshake many times,” Rahm said. “Well, it was a fist bump because of the situation, but still, how many people can say they got a congratulatory fist bump from Jack Nicklaus?”

Nicklaus said by having the antibodies, “theoretically we can’t get it and can’t give it. That’s a nice position to be in.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in a June 30 update, said it does not know if people who recover from COVID-19 can get infected again. It also said even with a positive test for antibodies, “you still should take preventive measures to protect yourself and others.”

Canada won't give Blue Jays exemption to play in Toronto

UNDATED (AP) — There will be no Major League Baseball action in Canada this year.

The Canadian government has turned down the Blue Jays' request for an exemption that would have allowed them to play regular-season games in Toronto amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Major League Baseball needed an exemption to a requirement that anyone entering Canada for nonessential reasons must self-isolate for 14 days. The team had previously been given clearance by city and provincial governments to play regular-season games at Toronto's Rogers Centre but needed approval from Canada's federal government.

In a statement, Canada's immigration minister said the government determined that the cross-border travel required for regular-season play "would not adequately protect Canadians' health and safety."

The team's alternate sites for home games include its training facility in Dunedin, Florida, which is among the states that are virus hotspots. They also could use Sahlen Field in Buffalo, New York, which is home to Toronto's Triple-A affiliate and just across the Niagara River from Canada.

— Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman doesn't know if he has time to be ready for their season opener following a scary journey in his battle with COVID-19. The four-time All-Star revealed Saturday that he had a high temperature of 104.5 degrees early in his battle with the disease and prayed for his life. He said Saturday was his ninth consecutive day without symptoms, which also included body aches, chills and a temporary loss of his senses of taste and smell. 

— Yankees pitcher Domingo Germán (hehr-MAHN') says he is not retiring from baseball and apologized for suggesting as much in an Instagram post on Friday. Germán is serving an 81-game ban for violating Major League Baseball's domestic violence policy last summer. He posted Friday night words in Spanish that translated to, "I've left baseball. Thanks everyone." But he wrote Saturday in Spanish and English that he was "very sorry for the unsettling post."

— Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu (leh-MAY'-hyoo) isn't sure if he'll be ready for Thursday's season opener after missing much of preseason camp because of a positive coronavirus test. LeMahieu finally reported to camp this week after testing positive at his home in Michigan last month. The three-time Gold Glove winner participated in his first practice Friday.

— Outfielder Dwight Smith Jr. has rejoined the Orioles after missing the start of summer camp following a positive test for the coronavirus. Smith hopes to be ready to play in Baltimore's opener at Boston on July 24. He tested positive when camp opened early this month. 

— Tigers pitcher Jordan Zimmermann is going on the 45-day injured list because of a strained right forearm. Manager Ron Gardenhire said the right-hander doesn't need surgery and could return at the end of this abbreviated season. He went 1-13 with a 6.91 ERA last year and has struggled to stay healthy while with the Tigers.

— Former major league umpire Rick Reed died Saturday at 70. Reed first worked a handful of American League games in 1979 before eventually becoming a full-time ump in the big leagues four years later. He worked the classic seven-game World Series between Minnesota and Atlanta in 1991 and also received All-Star assignments in 1986 and 1998.

Rahm shines while co-leaders struggle at Memorial

DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — The fast greens were to Jon Rahm's liking Saturday as he took over the Memorial lead at Muirfield Village.

Rahm began play one shot back before carding a 68, while previous co-leaders Ryan Palmer and Tony Finau (FEE'-now) shot 73. 

Rahm now enjoys a four-shot edge heading into Sunday's final round. He took control with four straight birdies on the back nine before closing with consecutive pars.

Danny Willett is alone in fourth place, six shots back and one ahead of Jason Day and Henrik Norlander. 

Tiger Woods shot a 71 after barely making Friday's cut. He's 10 strokes back.

NFL tells teams training camps will open on time

UNDATED (AP) — The NFL has informed teams their training camps will open on time.

League executive Troy Vincent sent a memo to general managers and head coaches on Saturday informing them rookies are to report by Tuesday, quarterbacks and injured players by Thursday and all other players should arrive by July 28.

The league and the NFL Players Association are still discussing testing for the coronavirus and other health and safety protocols. Union leadership expressed several concerns in a 90-minute conference call with reporters Friday.

However, under the collective bargaining agreement, the NFL can impose report dates.

In other developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic:

— Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer has confirmed that Eric Bledsoe tested positive for COVID-19, and remains cautiously optimistic the veteran point guard will be ready for the restart of the season. The coach's comments came one day after multiple reports indicated that Bledsoe said he had tested positive but was asymptomatic.

— The first exhibition games of the NBA restart will go a little more quickly than usual as players become acclimated to competition following the suspension of the season. The NBA is tweaking the rules for those initial matchups, going with 10-minute quarters instead of the usual 12 minutes.

— Edmonton Oilers defenseman Caleb Jones says he tested positive for the coronavirus before training camp. Jones said he completed his 14 days of isolation before camp started, but was held out of main sessions for the first three days as he tried to get himself back up to speed. Toronto's Auston Matthews is the only other NHL player to acknowledge a positive test in a media interview.

— Arizona has three positive coronavirus tests among 83 football players still on campus for voluntary offseason workouts. Two were asymptomatic and all three entered department protocols for self-isolation. Arizona has performed 366 test encounters including PCR, antigen and antibody testing among the players already on campus before the school paused bringing additional student-athletes to campus earlier this month.

— There will be fans in the massive grandstands at Texas Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Cup Series race this weekend. Sunday's race will be the first major sporting event in Texas in more than four months to allow spectators. It could be one of the largest gatherings of any kind in the state since the start of the pandemic. A state-approved plan would allow 50% capacity Sunday at the track with about 135,000 seats, but the crowd is expected to be closer to the 20,000 that attended this week's All-Star race at Bristol.

NEWTON, Iowa (AP) — Josef Newgarden led nearly wire-to-wire to win the IndyCar race at Iowa Speedway and give team owner Roger Penske a sweep of the weekend doubleheader.

Newgarden thought he had the best car in the opener Friday night, and he was irate when a series of misfortunes left him fifth and well back of winning teammate Simon Pagenaud (PA'-zheh-noh). But the two-time series champ left little to chance in Race 2, leading just about all of the 250 laps for his 15th career victory and first since last year's race at Iowa.

Hamilton takes Hungarian GP pole position ahead of Bottas

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Lewis Hamilton beat Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas to take pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix. It's Hamilton's second straight pole this season and record-extending 90th of his Formula One career.

He was 0.107 seconds quicker than Bottas and 0.93 faster than Racing Point driver Lance Stroll.

Hamilton has won seven times at the Hungaroring. The veteran British driver needs one more to equal F1 great Michael Schumacher's single-track record of eight wins, when the French GP was held at Magny-Cours.

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Authentic gave Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert his record-extending ninth win in the $1 million Haskell Stakes, holding off Ny Traffic at the wire at Monmouth Park on Saturday.

Jockey Mike Smith put the Santa Anita Derby runner-up on the lead at the start and they covered the 1 1/8-mile Grade 1 stakes in 1:50.46. The win was the third in four starts this year for the colt.

Belmont runner-up Dr. Post finished third under jockey Joe Bravo.

Former world junior skating champion Alexandrovskaya dies

SYDNEY (AP) — Former world junior pairs figure skating champion Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya has died. The Australian Olympic Committee says the 20-year-old died Friday in Moscow. The cause of death wasn't disclosed. 

Alexandrovskaya obtained Australian citizenship and competed for her adopted country in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics with skating partner Harley Windsor. The pair won the 2017 world junior title.

Wallace bumper auctioned off by rival driver

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A charity will become the benefactor of a wreck during NASCAR's qualifying race for Wednesday's All-Star event at Bristol.

Bubba Wallace wrecked out of the race after he was turned from behind by Michael McDowell as they raced nose to tail with William Byron. An irritated Wallace was later seen walking away after the damaged bumper was deposited at McDowell's team hauler.

McDowell's team retrieved the bumper and the driver put it in an on-line auction to raise money for Motor Racing Outreach, a Christian ministry. The bid price was over $15,000 by Saturday afternoon.

Diedhiou racially abused over penalty miss in English soccer

BRISTOL, England (AP) — Police in England have launched an investigation after Bristol City striker Famara Diedhiou was targeted with racism online after missing a penalty in the second-tier Championship on Saturday. 

The Senegal international hit the post from the spot in a 1-0 loss at Swansea that ended his team's chances of reaching the playoffs to make the Premier League. 

Diedhiou later tweeted "Why??" alongside a screenshot of a Twitter user who sent him a message consisting of three banana emojis. The police force covering Bristol in southwest England said he had received a formal report about the racist social media message.

Extracurricular activities are an essential piece of the educational experience in Kansas

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly announced Wednesday that the start of the 2020-21 school year will be delayed until at least the week following Labor Day.

With Wednesday’s announcement, those connected to school offered extracurricular activities in Kansas are left worried and confused.

It now appears that all activities will be delayed accordingly, with not even practice allowed to start until school reopens. The Kansas State High School&nbsp;Activities Association has yet to announce a plan, and will not do so this week.

First, let me be clear, I’m not part of the crowd that believes this is some radical liberal agenda to impact an election cycle. COVID-19 is not equivalent to the flu and it’s not a hoax.

I trust the recommendations of people like KDHE Secretary Dr. Lee Norman and infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci and I’m convinced Gov. Kelly is just trying to make decisions she believes will protect the citizens of Kansas.

That said, I also remain convinced we should find a way to let the kids participate in the extracurricular activities they love.

Given these considerations, couldn’t mitigation strategies be implemented to massively reduce the spread of the virus in most extracurricular activities?

Extracurricular activities drive classroom performance

As a former high school football coach, I can’t emphasize enough the importance of activities to the well-being of those students who are passionate about them. I’ve seen an athlete's motivation to achieve satisfactory progress in the classroom driven, time and again, by a desire to earn the opportunity to compete. And I'm certain there are students similarly motivated by participation in music, debate, forensics and other school-sponsored extracurricular activities.

My own motivation to achieve at a satisfactory level in the classroom in high school was driven by my desire to play football. Certainly I realize now that attitude was wrong, but it helped me get to college, where I shifted my focus to academics and completed my degree.

I believe there is something encoded in our DNA that makes physical activity and competition essential to the human condition. That may sound dramatic, but look at how many adults seek out competitive recreation opportunities after high school or college. Running, biking, golf, basketball, water sports, weightlifting — most of us participate in one or more of these activities as part of our recreation or fitness routine.

And not just sports, but music, acting, debate. Many adults continue their participation in similar activities for the remainder of their lives and&nbsp;while many from the sports world would not specifically consider extracurricular activities based in the arts to be “physical,” there is definitely a physical component. The ability to modulate one’s voice, to use the entire body to inspire an audience, to expand the lungs to carry a note or deliver impassioned dialogue during the rousing final act of a play all requires muscular, emotional and intellectual proficiency.

Those “non-sport” extracurricular activities are also inherently competitive. No one takes part in a musical or debate with the goal of being mediocre. Artists are driven to hone their craft in the same way that athletes work to achieve the pinnacle of physical performance.

Let’s find a way to let them play

Returning to extracurricular activities appears possible with a mix of masking, hygiene, contact limitations and reduced fan participation.

Students can participate in some activities with masks and others with the appropriate amount of social distance. Hand sanitizer can be made available for students, coaches and officials. Practices can feature reduced contact. Fan access to competitions can be reduced.

Personally, I’m most supportive of a return to play that shifts all sports seasons back according to the new school schedule with some possible reduction in regular season competitions. Flip-flopping spring and fall sports seasons presents too much of a challenge this late in the year and staying as close as possible to the current calendar appears the best option.

In-person learning or not, let’s continue extracurricular activities

I’m a parent of a soon to be eight-year-old girl who I’d love to see return to school for a variety of reasons, but, I believe we should have extracurricular activities even if our return to school is only virtual.

Holding practice for extracurricular activities could serve to provide both students and parents a break in the day, provide the student with much needed physical activity and help them continue to engage academically in an effort to remain eligible for competition.

There are a number of studies that demonstrate the negative health impacts of not returning to school and sports. I get the risk, the need for safety, and the absolute necessity of monitoring the spread of the virus on a daily basis, but can’t we strike a balance that will allow kids a return to the extracurricular activities they love?

The Kansas State High School&nbsp;Activities Association has yet to announce a plan, and will not do so this week.First, let me be clear, I’m not part of the crowd that believes this is some radical liberal agenda to impact an election cycle. NEW YORK (AP) — Major League Soccer delayed the first seasons of expansion teams in Charlotte, North Carolina; St. Louis; and Sacramento, California, by one year each because of the coronavirus pandemic. Charlotte will start play in 2022, and St. Louis and Sacramento will take the field in 2023, the league said Friday. Austin, Texas, remains on track to begin next year, when MLS will have 27 teams. MLS said Austin FC had made significant progress before the pandemic.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Djimon Colbert says the death of George Floyd and revelations of mistreatment of Black players in the Iowa football program is prompting him to confront issues he used to put to the side. The Hawkeyes' linebacker said the summer has been liberating for him. He's participated in protests in downtown Iowa City, and he's found his voice as a member of the Hawks' 21-player Leadership Group. Dozens of former players have alleged racial bias in the program run by Kirk Ferentz. The coach has taken steps to make the program more inclusive. Colbert said he's seen positive developments.

One after another, the lanky left-hander with the easy grin, infectious personality and sinker-style delivery left the woefully out-of-sync hitters baffled. Turns out, he caught San Diego's eye at some point, too. The Padres acquired Hill from Kansas City in a trade Thursday night.&nbsp;

Big finish allows Woods to make Memorial cut

DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Tiger Woods teetered on the cut line before earning two more rounds at the Memorial.

Woods followed Thursday's 1-under 71 with a 76 that puts him at plus-3 in his first PGA tournament since the coronavirus pandemic. He missed a pair of 3-foot putts and took a double bogey from the fairway before a birdie-par finish left him one over the cut line. 

Woods is a five-time winner at Muirfield Village, but his current 36-hole total is his worst since his first time playing it 23 years ago.

Ryan Palmer fired a 68 to pull into a tie for the lead with Tony Finau (FEE'-now) at 9 under. Jon Rahm is one stroke back.

5 more Major League Baseball players positive

UNDATED (AP) — Five more baseball players tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week, raising the total to 80 since testing started in late June. 

Major League Baseball and the players' association said six out of 10,548 samples were new positives in the week ending Thursday, a rate of 0.05%. The week included a five-day span with no new positive tests. 

Including the initial intake screening that started in late June, 93 of 21,701 samples have resulted in new positives, a rate of 0.4%. The positives included 80 players and 13 staff members. 

— A top Canadian government health official says problems remain with Major League Baseball's proposed plan to play in Canada amid the coronavirus pandemic. Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Howard Njoo said the federal government is still looking very closely at the proposals by MLB and the Blue Jays, who have been given clearance by Ontario and Toronto officials to play at Rogers Centre. Njoo credits the Blue Jays for their willingness to live in a quarantine environment while they host games.

— Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu (leh-MAY'-hyoo) has returned to the field after missing nearly two weeks with COVID-19. LeMahieu was not in the lineup for Friday's intraquad game but hit in a batting cage and was to take grounders on the field. Manager Aaron Boone wants LeMahieu to build up his legs and said it's not clear whether he will be ready for Thursday night's opener at Washington.

— Royals pitcher Brad Keller is back with the team after missing two weeks due to COVID-19. He immediately hit the field for a 30-pitch bullpen session and had no issues. Keller was the Royals' starter opening day last year. 

— Los Angeles Angels right-hander Justin Anderson will have Tommy John surgery. Anderson was a candidate for a spot in the Angels' bullpen after going 3-0 with a 5.55 ERA in 54 appearances last season. He recently had an MRI that showed a torn ligament in his right elbow. 

— All-Star right-hander José Berríos (beh-REE'-ohs) will be the Twins' opening day starter. Berríos went 14-8 with a 3.68 ERA and 195 strikeouts in 200 1/3 innings last year, all career bests. The 26-year-old native of Puerto Rico made his major league debut in 2016.

Voting for honors such as All-NBA, rookie of the year and defensive player of the year will be completed before the July 30 restart of the season. Statistical championships, such as the scoring, rebounding, assist and steal titles, are technically up for grabs through the end of the seeding games in mid-August. 

— Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer confirmed Eric Bledsoe tested positive for COVID-19 but remains cautiously optimistic the veteran point guard will be ready for the start of the season's resumption. Budenholzer's comment came a day after multiple reports indicated Bledsoe said he had tested positive but was asymptomatic.The 30-year-old Bledsoe is averaging 15.4 points, 5.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds.

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — The CFL's Edmonton Eskimos reportedly will change their name, although the team wouldn't confirm that information.

TSN and Postmedia said Friday the team will make a switch following a decision to do the same by Washington's NFL team. 

The team issued a statement saying it takes this issue seriously as has been demonstrated by the three years it has spent engaging in Canada's north and conducting research related to the name.
