It will be the only contest in NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball this week that features two unbeaten teams.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be televised on the PAC 12 Networks, with Cindy Brunson and Mary Murphy on the call. Jayhawk fans can also listen to the game on the Jayhawk Radio Network from Learfield, with Steven Davis calling the action.

Kansas cruised to 7-0 on the year with an 88-51 victory over SEMO on Sunday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse. Five different Jayhawks scored in double figures as KU held a fifth-straight opponent to fewer than 55 points. Taiyanna Jackson led KU with 17 points and six rebounds while Sanna Strom added a career-best 13 points off the bench.

KU is now 7-0 for the second time under head coach Brandon Schneider and the first time since the 2019-20 season, when the Jayhawks started 11-0. The Jayhawks are currently receiving votes in both national polls, coming in at No. 26 in the Associated Press Top 25.

Arizona is also 7-0 and ranked No. 12 in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll. The Wildcats are averaging 88.1 points per game and defeating their opponents by an average of more than 30 points. Arizona has defeated each of its seven opponents by at least 16 points.

Thursday’s matchup will be the seventh all-time meeting between Kansas and Arizona, and first since a 75-51 Jayhawk victory over the Wildcats at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 17, 2016. The all-time series is tied 3-3, with KU 0-2 all-time in Tucson.

In Arizona, Kansas will be seeking its first win over a ranked non-conference opponent since Dec. 7, 2014 (W, 62-39 vs. #10 California).

Broncos rookie coach Nathaniel Hackett says he's not concerned about his team's past and safety Justin Simmons says he too is focused on the present. The game was moved from prime time to the afternoon because it's not the featured matchup it appeared to be when the schedule came out.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills’ top pass-rusher Von Miller will miss the remainder of the season after having surgery to repair an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Coach Sean McDermott says the ligament damage was discovered during a previously scheduled exploratory surgery, which was conducted on Tuesday in Texas. Miller has missed one game since being hurt in the first half of a 28-25 win over Detroit on Thanksgiving. The Bills placed Miller on injured reserve last week with the expectation he would be able to return after initial tests showed no damage to the player’s ACL.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Coach Sean McVay says Baker Mayfield probably will be active for the Los Angeles Rams’ game against the Raiders on Thursday night. That's just two days after the Rams claimed the former No. 1 draft pick off waivers from Carolina. McVay wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Mayfield playing against Las Vegas, but the Rams coach indicated it likely would happen only if John Wolford’s persistent neck injury forces struggling Los Angeles to try a desperate solution to its quarterback woes. Caleb Huffman’s layup with 8:47 left gave the Colonels a 60-48 lead. But the Red Raiders outscored Nicholls 22-9 over the next seven minutes and took a 70-69 lead with 1:51 left on Obanor’s layup. MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Tre Mitchell scored 19 points to lead West Virginia to an 85-64 win over Navy on Wednesday night. Erik Stevenson added 13 points, Joe Toussaint 12 and Kedrian Johnson 11 for the Mountaineers. Freshman Austin Benigni scored 20 points to lead Navy, which fell to 1-4 on the road. Leading scorer Tyler Nelson was held to six points, nine below his average. Navy trimmed an 18-point deficit to 54-49 with 14:18 left in the game. But West Virginia pushed the lead back to double digits to stay on 3-pointers in the span of just over a minute by Johnson, Toussaint and Mitchell.

MANHATAN, Kan. (AP) — Emilee Ebert scored 14 points and ran her streak of free throw makes to 32, and No. 24 Kansas State cruised to a 72-45 win over UMKC. The Wildcats scored the last six points of the first half for a 39-24 lead and had the first 13 of the second to make it 50-24. Ebert had six of those 19. The Mavericks went scoreless for 7:36 and without a field goal for almost 10 minutes. Kansas State outscored UMKC 25-7 in the third quarter as the Mavericks went 2 of 7 with 14 turnovers. The Padres already had Fernando Tatis Jr. at shortstop, but he missed the entire season because of injuries and an 80-game suspension for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug. SAN DIEGO (AP) — Aaron Judge has agreed to return to the New York Yankees on a $360 million, nine-year contract. It's the largest free agent deal in baseball history. Judge will earn $40 million per season, the highest average annual payout for a position player. Sports Headlines for Thursday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs could have two important parts of their offense back with guard Joe Thuney and wide receiver Kadarius Toney returning to practice Wednesday ahead of their trip to Denver.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that everyone would practice in their first workout since blowing a late lead in Sunday's loss in Cincinnati. That includes Thuney, who did not play because of an ankle injury, and Toney, who was coming off his most productive game with Kansas City when a hamstring injury sidelined him most of the past three games.

“I'm going to let him get out there and work a little bit. We'll just see how he does,” Reid said of Toney, who arrived in a trade from the New York Giants, where similar injuries were a frequent issue for the 2021 first-round pick.

“We're not going to bring him back and have him hurt it again,” Reid said. “We'll see what we can do.”

As for Thuney, who is about as durable as they come, Reid said the big offensive lineman probably could have returned last week in Cincinnati, but chose to give him another week off in the hopes of avoiding any lingering issues.

“His thing was getting that final push,” Reid said. “He feels better this week than he did last week. He's made as much progress as he's had, I said, ‘Let’s give him a little more time.' That's where I was at the end of last week.”

Reid also said that wide receiver Mecole Hardman, who is eligible to come off injured reserve next week, is recovering nicely from his abdominal injury. Hardman has been running outside and put on some of the weight he lost while dealing with the problem, and there's a chance he could help Kansas City for the stretch run.

The Chiefs are tied with the Bills at 9-3 for the best record in the AFC, though Buffalo holds the head-to-head tiebreaker.

“The guys know where they're at. Nobody knows better than they do what's out front,” said Reid, whose team can clinch the AFC West with a win Sunday in Denver coupled with a loss by the Los Angeles Chargers.

“You don't have to stand up there and preach to them about that,” Reid continued. “They want to win games. That's the mentality of this team. They battled their hearts out Sunday and it didn't work out. We're back to it.”

In fact, Reid was peppered with questions Wednesday about bouncing back from the loss in Cincinnati — the third straight game this calendar year that the Bengals have beaten the Chiefs, including last season's AFC title game. And after the third or fourth question, Reid made it clear that his focus was off the Bengals and onto the Broncos.

The same goes for Patrick Mahomes, who will no doubt welcome Thuney and Toney back to the huddle.

“In this league,” he said, “you have to move on or you'll make one loss turn into two. You watch the tape on Monday and you get a sense of what you can do better, when you can take away that was positive, and you move onto next week.”

Mahomes has never lost to the Broncos in nine tries.

“We just really emphasize playing our division opponents,” he said, by way of an explanation. “That's what we work on all offseason. For us, the coaches do a great job of giving us great game plans and I just try to go out and execute them.”

NOTES: Mahomes was chosen as the Chiefs' nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award this week. “Just a tremendous honor,” he said. “To have my opportunity this year is something I'll cherish for the rest of my life.” ... HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three Red Ravens scored 20 or more points in a game that featured 20 tied scores and 18 lead changes.

Hutchinson (8-5, 2-5) slipped for the fourth straight game and for the fifth time in the last six contests.

Aaron Franklin led the way with 24 points, eight rebounds and four steals as four other Dragons scored in double digits: Steele Gaston-Chapman (14), Kieran Carr (13), Tony Green (12) and Kernan Bundy (11).

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Dragons used five made threes in the third quarter to break away from Coffeyville Wednesday night in the Sports Arena.

Mya Williams knocked down three of her total four in the contest during a third-quarter explosion that put Hutchinson on top for good.

Hutchinson (10-3, 4-3) snapped a two-game skid by outscoring the Red Ravens 27-13 in the third frame.

Williams finished with 25 points in 25 minutes after scoring just seven at the half on 1 of 6 shooting from distance.

Morgan Browning (12) and Monae Duffy (10) also scored in double figures.

Hutchinson had at least one triple per quarter, but went 5 of 8 in the third to take the lead after trailing by as many as nine with just three minutes gone in the second half.

Hutchinson scored 24 points on 24 Coffeyville (9-4, 5-2) turnovers.

Jayden Epps added 11 points, including the final five points of regulation at Madison Square Garden. Shannon took over in the extra period to help Illinois beat a ranked foe for the second time this season. Timmy Allen scored a season-high 21 points for previously unbeaten Texas.

WACO, Texas (AP) — Freshman Keyonte George scored 22 points, redshirt freshman Langston Love added 20 and No. 12 Baylor beat Tarleton State 80-57. The Bears had trouble early pulling away from the Texans, led by former Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie. Baylor finally took a double-digit lead not long after halftime. The Bears were was playing for the first time since a school-record run of 54 consecutive weeks in the Top 10 ended. Shakur Daniel scored 13 points for the Texans. Tarleton was playing Baylor for the first time since 1986 and the ninth time overall.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — JaKobe Coles scored a career-high 21 points, Damion Baugh had 15 points, six rebounds and five assists and No. 24 TCU beat Jackson State 78-51 for its fifth straight victory. Coles scored 12 points in the opening 10 minutes as TCU led 25-11 and he matched his career high with 15 points by halftime. Coles had the final six points of an 8-0 run early in the second half for a 54-34 lead. Shahada Wells added 14 points and Chuck O’Bannon Jr. scored 11 for TCU. Coltie Young made four 3-pointers and scored 14 points for Jackson State.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Grant Sherfield, without a basket in the first half, scored all but two of his 24 points in the second when Oklahoma turned a tie game into a 75-53 victory over Kansas City. Sherfield was 5 of 6 from 3-point range, with the Sooners shooting 58% from the floor. Sherfield, a point shy of his season high, has reached double figures in every game this season. LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — TCU offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Garrett Riley has been named winner of the Broyles Award as the top assistant coach in the nation. Riley coached Heisman Trophy finalist Max Duggan and coordinated the top offense in the Big 12. The Horned Frogs lead the nation with 19 plays of 50 yards or longer. They are in the College Football Playoff for the first time. The younger brother of Southern California coach Lincoln Riley was offensive coordinator at SMU for two seasons before moving with Sonny Dykes to TCU this year.

Two Kansas high schools are investigating after students at one school reportedly yelled racist and offensive taunts at the other school's basketball teams. The basketball coach at Topeka High School says the men's basketball team faced “outright racism” when they played Valley Center High School on Saturday. Coach Geo Lyons says Valley Center students taunted his players and passed around a Black baby doll during the game. Valley Center administrators have apologized to Topeka school officials. They say an investigation uncovered inappropriate behavior but not specifically racist taunts from students during the game. Lyons has started a petition to have Valley Center High School fans removed from future sporting events.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee owner Amy Adams Strunk fired general manager Jon Robinson in the midst of his seventh season with the Titans off to a 7-5 start. The Titans announced Strunk’s decision in a statement. The Titans plan to start searching for a new general manager soon with a full search at the end of the season. Strunk said she thinks the Titans have made “significant progress” but she believes “there is more to be done and higher aspirations to be met.” The Titans were routed in Philadelphia in a loss featuring a big performance by the wide receiver Robinson traded to the Eagles during the first round of the NFL draft in A.J. Brown.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Rams have claimed quarterback Baker Mayfield off waivers. The Rams made the move Tuesday to add Mayfield, the No. 1 pick in the 2018 draft by Cleveland. Mayfield was released by the Panthers on Monday at his request after seven disappointing games with Carolina. The Rams need quarterback help. Matthew Stafford is almost certainly out for the season with a bruised spinal cord, and backups John Wolford and Bryce Perkins have been fairly ineffective while playing three of the past four games.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Aaron Judge remains a free agent as baseball's winter meetings continue in San Diego. While much of the majors awaited the resolution of Judge’s free agency, Taijuan Walker agreed to a $72 million, four-year contract with Philadelphia, Mitch Haniger got a $43.5 million deal from San Francisco and Cody Bellinger reached a $17.5 million, one-year deal with the Chicago Cubs. Negotiations continued for some marquee free agents, including shortstops Carlos Correa, Xander Bogaerts and Dansby Swanson, along with catcher Willson Contreras and left-hander Carlos Rodón. Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol says the team recently met with Contreras and his representatives.

Sports Headlines for Wednesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. –&nbsp;Fresh off a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the Kansas Volleyball team had four players earn Midwest All-Region honors, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced Tuesday.

Middle blocker Lauren Dooley, opposite Anezka Szabo and outside hitter Ayah Elnady were all named Midwest All-Region, while setter Camryn Turner was named Midwest All-Region honorable mention.

All four players were named All-Big 12 Second Team last month following distinguished seasons.

Elnady led the Jayhawks with 292 kills on the season, averaging 2.73 kills per set. She had a season-high 19 kills against Iowa State on Nov. 19. Elnady also led the team and ranked fourth in the Big 12 with 42 service aces on the season. The Cairo, Egypt native also broke a school record this season, recording eight service aces against Omaha, which established a new high for the program in a four-set match.

Szabo, in her final season with the Jayhawks, played in 90 sets with 203 kills on the season. Szabo averaged 2.26 kills per set. On top of her postseason honors by the Big 12 and AVCA, Szabo was also named to the All-Tournament team for the 2022 Utah Classic. Originally a transfer from Nebraska, Szabo played three seasons with the Jayhawks.

Dooley, who transferred to Kansas prior to the season from Florida, ranked fifth in the Big 12 in hitting percentage at .380 and sixth in the league in blocks at 1.09 per set. Dooley played in all 111 sets for the Jayhawks this season and averaged 1.57 kills per set with 174 total kills. Her 121 total blocks were second on the team to Rachel Langs. She had a season-high 11 blocks at West Virginia in October.

Turner, a Topeka native in her second season with the Jayhawks, served as the primary setter for Kansas and finished seventh in the Big 12 with 9.23 assists per set. She also finished 10th in the league with 2.59 digs per set. Like Dooley, Turner played in all 111 sets for Kansas this year and had 16 double-doubles in 30 matches.

The Jayhawks went 19-11 on the season and 8-8 in the Big 12, ultimately falling to No. 2 seeded Nebraska in the NCAA Tournament.

🏐 Jayhawks place Four on AVCA Midwest All-Region Teams

MANHATTAN, Kansas— K-State (8-1) will face a pair of Summit League foes this week, as the Wildcats host Kansas City on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. • Wednesday's game will feature K-State's annual partnership with Fort Riley's Operation Santa toy drive and halftime Teddy Bear Toss. The Hutch High Girls had to rally in the 4th quarter of play after trailing 33-30 at one time in the second half to Salina South, but found a way to pull away with a hard fought 45-41 victory over Salina Central.

Senior Aliyah Green led the way for the Salthawks with 19 points followed by Grace Posch with 10 points and Hannah Ames with 10 points.

In the nightcap, the Salthawk Boys exploded with a 21-4 run in the 3rd quarter to win over the Mustangs 60-27.&nbsp; Garrett Robertson led the way with 19 points, including 5 three point baskets, and aided by Daunte King's 17 points. Salina Central's Senior Kenyon McMillan led the Mustangs with 7.

Hutchinson led 9-8 at the end of the first quarter but closed out the second quarter strong to lead 28-16 at intermission. Then the Salthawks put the game away with that 21-4 third quarter.

Hutch High Boys (1-0) play host to Buhler (1-1) Friday night at home.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Hutchinson Community College men’s golf coach Chris Young was enshrined into the Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Monday night.

The GCAA Hall of Fame Class of 2022 was announced on Monday at the GCAA Hall of Fame Banquet at the Planet Hollywood resort.

Young, along with former Colorado State and current Louisville head coach Mark Crabtree, Oklahoma Christian coach David Lynn, and TCU head coach Bill Montigel were enshrined into the GCAA Hall of Fame.

Now in his 23rd season as the head coach of the Hutchinson Community College men’s golf team, Chris Young took a struggling Division II program and transformed it into a nationally elite NJCAA Division I powerhouse.

The last two seasons have been the most impressive as the Blue Dragons won the 2021 and 2022 NJCAA Division I National Championships. The 2022-23 Blue Dragons are currently ranked No. 2 in each of the two major men’s golf rankings.

The 2021 Blue Dragons captured the program’s first national title at The Rawls Club in Lubbock, Texas.

The Dragons defeated Odessa by nine strokes for the team championship. Ben Partridge defeated teammate Harry Crocket in a four-hole playoff to the win individual national championship. Along with Partridge and Crockett, Cameron Rios-Ceballos earned All-America honors.

One year later, the Blue Dragons went wire-to-wire for the second straight year and never looked back for a 20-stroke victory at the Odessa Country Club in Odessa, Texas. The Blue Dragons posted the largest winning margin in nearly 30 years and shot six strokes better than 2021 with a 72-hole total of 1,130.

A record four Blue Dragons earned All-America honors: Dominic Clemons, who lost a two-hole playoff for the individual national title, and Blake Saffell and Partridge were first-team All-Americans. Crockett was a third-team All-American.

In Young’s tenure, the Blue Dragons have won 10 Jayhawk Conference championships, nine Region VI titles, three District III titles and two national championships.

Campbell called Scheelhaase one of the rising stars in college football coaching. Campbell also announced the firing of fifth-year offensive line coach Jeff Meyers.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Cincinnati has hired Louisville’s Scott Satterfield to be its next football coach. Louisville was 7-5 this season under Satterfield and earned a berth in the Fenway Bowl, where coincidentally it will face Cincinnati. Satterfield replaces Luke Fickell, who recently left to become coach at Wisconsin. Satterfield said he was honored to become coach of the Bearcats and looked forward to continuing the program’s winning tradition. Cincinnati joins the Big 12 Conference next fall. Louisville announced that player development director Deion Branch, a former Cardinals star and Super Bowl MVP with the Patriots, will serve as interim coach for the bowl game.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Philadelphia Phillies have landed Trea Turner, agreeing to a $300 million, 11-year contract with the dynamic shortstop. Turner joins a Philadelphia team that made it to the World Series this year before losing to the Houston Astros. KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A former Hutch Trinity Catholic student athlete had a career week from Fort Hays State's Kaleb Hammeke&nbsp;helped the sophomore earn the latest MIAA Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week presented by Shift Group, announced Monday by the league office. Hammeke averaged 29.5 points, 4.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in a pair of conference victories against Northeastern State and Rogers State. The Hutchinson, Kan. native erupted for a career-high 36 points in an overtime win over the RiverHawks, including 24 points in the second half and another six in overtime. He went 13-of-18 from the field with four 3-point field goals and was 6-of-8 at the free-throw line. The two-time All-MIAA selection followed up that performance with a team-high 23 points in a double-digit win over Rogers State, including 14 points at the charity stripe. He was 8-of-8 at the free-throw line inside the final 70 seconds of the game to help hold off any chance of a late Hillcat rally. Hammeke leads the conference with 151 points this season, ranking third in points per game at 18.9. His 35 assists rank third in the conference and 35th nationally. WICHITA, Kan. — The Wichita Wind Surge on Monday announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell the team to Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), an organization that owns and operates select minor league clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB). The club will remain in Wichita as the Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.

After returning affiliated baseball to Wichita and building the state-of-the-art Riverfront Stadium, the current ownership group has tapped DBH to acquire the Club and continue optimizing the fan, player and community experience. With a growing portfolio of minor league baseball Clubs comprised of Single-A, Double-A, and Triple-A affiliates in markets across the country, DBH works to combine local passions and priorities with national reach and scale, applying cutting-edge digital baseball technologies as well as new value-generating opportunities in partnership with MLB.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. —Members of the Kansas Football Coaches Association gathered this past weekend to choose their All-State teams and Hutch High players were among those honored.

The All-State teams are organized by position. Each classification also includes an overall Coach of the Year for that class.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Malik Hooker returned a fumble 38 yards for a touchdown against his former team in a 33-point fourth quarter for Dallas, propelling the Cowboys to a 54-19 rout of the Indianapolis Colts. Dallas led 21-19 entering the fourth when Dak Prescott threw the last of his three touchdown passes. Hooker’s scoop-and-score was the first of four fourth-quarter takeaways by Dallas, all of which led to touchdowns. The Cowboys had their highest-scoring quarter since at least 1991. It was just the third time in NFL history a team scored as many as 33 points in the fourth. Matt Ryan threw three interceptions and lost a fumble for the Colts.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is not expected to miss significant time after injuring his knee in a 10-9 win over Denver. Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said Jackson may not return in time for next week's game against Pittsburgh, but he shouldn't be far off. Backup Tyler Huntley appears far more comfortable in his role as stand-in for the 2019 NFL MVP after guiding Baltimore to a win against the Broncos. Jackson missed the final four games of the 2021 season with an ankle injury, and Baltimore lost every one of them.

UNDATED (AP) — Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State have made the College Football Playoff, giving the Big Ten multiple programs in the four-team field for the first time. The defending national champion and top-ranked Bulldogs and fourth-seeded Buckeyes will meet Dec. 31 at the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. The second-seeded Wolverines and third-ranked Horned Frogs will play at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, the same day. The national championship game is scheduled for Jan. 9 at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Georgia and Michigan have both opened as the favorites to win their semifinals and reach the title game.

The Crimson Tide are headed to the Sugar Bowl for the 17th time after narrowly missing out on the four-team College Football Playoff because of losses at Tennessee and LSU on the last play of each game. Kansas State is 10-3 after handing TCU its first loss of the season in overtime of the Big 12 title game in Dallas. The Sugar Bowl could be the final college game for Alabama quarterback and 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young. He's eligible for the 2023 NFL draft and could even be the top player selected.

Kansas and Arkansas will meet in the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 28. This will mark the Jayhawks' first bowl appearance since the end of the 2008 season. Kansas started 5-0 and cracked the AP Top 25 this year. The Jayhawks' six wins are more than they had in the previous three seasons combined. Arkansas started 3-0 and reached No. 10 in the AP Top 25. CINCINNATI (AP) — Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score, Samaje Perine rushed for a season-high 106 yards and the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 on Sunday in their first meeting since the Bengals prevailed in last season's AFC championship game.

Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs lost their chance to avenge two losses to Burrow and Cincinnati last season. The Bengals beat the Chiefs last Jan. 2 to clinch the AFC North title, then won four weeks later in overtime — also by a 27-24 score — to reach the Super Bowl for the first time in 33 years.

In this matchup of elite quarterbacks, a defensive play in the fourth quarter proved to be the turning point.

With the Chiefs leading 24-20, Cincinnati linebacker Germaine Pratt stripped Trave Kelce after a catch and recovered the fumble.

Burrow, working from his own 47, then completed six of seven passes for 53 yards, finishing the drive with an 8-yard TD pass to backup running back Chris Evans that gave the Bengals the lead with 8:54 remaining.

The subsequent Chiefs drive was snuffed out when Joseph Ossai sacked Mahomes, and Harrison Butker missed a 55-yard field-goal attempt wide right.

Burrow converted two third downs on passes to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to allow the Bengals to run out the clock.

Mahomes was 16 for 27 for 223 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score.

Cincinnati led for the entire the first half and took a 14-10 lead into the locker room. Kansas City then scored two third-quarter touchdowns — an 8-yard-run by Isiah Pacheco and a 3-yard scramble by Mahomes — while the Bengals had to settle for a pair of field goals. That gave the Chiefs a 24-20 lead that held until the turnover and Cincinnati TD.

Burrow finished 25 for 31 for 286 yards. Chase, in his return after missing four games with a hip injury, had seven receptions for 97 yards.

Bengals TE Hayden Hurst suffered a right calf injury in the first half and was ruled out.

MANHATTAN, Kansas -&nbsp;K-State used a large second and third quarter advantage to overcome a sluggish first frame to secure a 73-59 win over Houston on Sunday afternoon at Bramlage Coliseum.&nbsp; K-State (8-1) has won 16 consecutive non-conference home games with its last loss coming against Idaho State on Dec. 8, 2020. The Wildcats were led by the trio of senior&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/gabby-gregory/8613">Gabby Gregory</a>&nbsp;and sophomores&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/jaelyn-glenn/8607">Jaelyn Glenn</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/serena-sundell/8612">Serena Sundell</a>. Gregory led all scorers with 21 points on 6-of-13 shooting and a 7-of-8 effort from the foul line. She also pulled in five rebounds. Glenn tallied 18 points including a career-high 8-of-12 performance from the free throw line. She also equaled her season-high on the glass with eight rebounds and handed out three assists, pocketed three steals and blocked two shots. Sundell carded 11 points, eight assists with zero turnovers, six rebounds and two steals.
