Josephine “Jo” Elda Willems, 90, passed away June 3, 2020 at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born October 31, 1929 in Inman, the daughter of Pete and Agatha Esau Goertzen. She was a graduate of Inman High School.

Jo had been employed by First National Bank of Hutchinson for 40 years, retiring in 1997 and was a member of Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church, Inman. She married Victor T. Willems on April 28, 1951. He survives. 

Other survivors include a son, Timothy (Deborah) Willems, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Brittany (Tyler) Lawrence, Shelby (Dylan) Trammell, and Trevor Willems, all of Hutchinson, Brianna (Tyler) Augustine, Gypsum; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Abby Michelle Willems; and three sisters, Mary Weins, Alyce Lutes, and Pauline Friesen Raines. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2020 at Zoar Mennonite Brethren Church, with Pastor Dwight Carter presiding. Burial will follow at Zoar Church Cemetery. Maxine England, 100, of Hutchinson, died June 4, 2020, at Hester Care Center. She was born December 15, 1919, in Huntsville, to Olan and Verna (Leslie) Bramley.

Maxine graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1937. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and especially grandmother. Maxine was a devoted member of First Christian Church, Hutchinson.

On August 3, 1940, she married Robert England in Hutchinson. They shared 40 years together before his passing on February 26, 1981.

Maxine is survived by daughters, Beverly (Harold) Stauffer, Hutchinson, Margaret England, Hutchinson, Jane (Charlie) Yunker, Derby, and Debbie Beougher, Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Patti (Robert) Kennedy, Kay (John) Alexander, Amy (Jim) Theis, and Andy (Anjie) Ramirez; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert England; brother, Harold Bramley; son-in-law, Kurt Beougher; and great-grandson, James Kennedy.

Evea “Jean” Stark passed away June 3, 2020. She was born on August 4, 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Evea (Jones) Hammond.

Jean was a homemaker most of her adult life. On October 27, 1963 she married Raymond Stark at Chetopa, Kansas. They shared 51 years of marriage. He passed away July 11, 2015.

Jean is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Amanda) Stark of McPherson, Kansas, James Stark of Versailles, Missouri; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Steven Stark; a sister, Loretta Dixon; and a brother, Roy Hammond.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday,&nbsp;June 8, 2020 at Moundridge Funeral Home, Moundridge, Kansas with Pastor Mark Ollenberger officiating. Alan Waggoner, passed away June 2, 2020, on his 75th birthday, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, after a courageous two and a half year battle with breast cancer. He was born June 2, 1945, &nbsp;in Hutchinson, to Richard and Bertha May (Mitchell) Waggoner.

After graduating from Hutchinson High School, Alan enlisted in the National Guard. In 1966, he married Lanora Tonn of Sylvia, Kansas.

In 1963, Alan began a 44-year career with Dillons Grocers as a warehouseman and member of Teamster’s Local 795. &nbsp;

He and Lanora raised two daughters, Tammy and Kerri. Alan coached the girls in softball and played competitive softball as well, while making many life-long friends along the way. While family was always his first priority, he always had a passion&nbsp;for classic cars and was well known for his immaculately restored 1950 Chevrolet pickup, which won many car show awards. Alan’s hobby business, Shine Like Mine, was a mainstay at the Kansas State Fair for almost 20 years.&nbsp;He was also a member of the Hutchinson Car Club.

In retirement, Alan contributed thousands of hours in volunteer service for the Salt Museum, Kansas State Fair, Volunteer Corps, Dillon Nature Center, and the City of Hutchinson. He also delivered flowers in his spare time for “his girls” at Absolutely Flowers.

Alan was the proudest grandpa in the stands at many of his three grandsons’ sporting events and instilled in them great respect for family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lanora, Hutchinson; daughters, Tammy Miller (Bill, DeSoto, and Kerri Page, Olathe; three grandsons, Christian Page, Jackson Miller, and Carson Milller; sister, Ginger Osgood, Hutchinson, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bertha May Waggoner; brother,&nbsp; Jim Waggoner;&nbsp; and sister, Diana Waggoner.

Barbara Jean Hinck, 69, of Hutchinson, died May 30, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born on January 19, 1951, in Hutchinson, to Cecil and Blanche (Johnson) Worley.

Barbara was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. She worked as a residential direct support professional for TECH, in Hutchinson. Barbara’s hobbies included Bingo, women’s church group, and spending time with family, especially her great-grandson, Riley.

On November 16, 1968, she married Bernard William Hinck, Jr., in Hutchinson. They shared 51 years of marriage together.

Barbara is survived by husband, Bernard ‘Barney’ Hinck, Hutchinson; son, Bernard Hinck (Sophia Warnock, Hutchinson; daughter, Angela Lane (Timothy, Larned; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Hovius, Mary Lou McConnel, and Katherine Medina (Paul, all of Hutchinson; and brothers, Tommy Worley (Wanda) and David Worley (Karen, both of Hutchinson.

Nancy Jo Foster, 75, of Hutchinson, died May 31, 2020, at her home. She was born December 8, 1944, in Pratt, to Herman B. and Dortha Mae (Donner) McDowell.

Nancy was a 1962 graduate of Hutchinson High School and later graduated from Salt City Business College, Hutchinson. She was employed for 29 years as a Quality Control Manager for Grede Foundries, Hutchinson. Nancy was an avid quilter at the Delos V. Smith Senior Citizens Center, enjoyed fishing, camping, riding her motorcycle, and traveling with her family. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Hutchinson, and participated in Bible study groups. Nancy loved her church family.

On April 8, 1963, she married Gary Duane Foster in Hutchinson. He died in Vietnam on January 18, 1970.

She is survived by her siblings, Harlan McDowell, Linda White, and Bonnie Wallace, all of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary D. Foster; son, Gary Dean Foster; and siblings, Delila Freer, Kathy Valleau, and Sue McClelland.

John
 Rogers Weinhoffer, 45 of Hutchinson, Kansas buggered off, capitulated, ceased to exist, gave up the ghost, bought the farm, kicked the bucket, crossed over the rainbow bridge . . . that is to say he did indeed, slide from this life on May 8, 2020. 

John, aka Dutch,
 was beyond a doubt, the world’s okayest brother- he didn’t suck at being a son (although we’re all pretty sure he was his own favorite) and overall . . . he wasn’t awful.

According to family lore, he was found under a rock somewhere near Sparta, Illinois on December
 12, 1974. He was a chubby little toe-headed baby who spent his days laughing, then crying because he couldn’t figure out where the noise was coming from. (I wish I was making that up.) 

Dutch took his place as the youngest sibling seriously and in a family that
 considers quick wit a must, and sarcasm a competitive sport, he surpassed us all. He did eventually grow up, I use that term loosely, to be the irreverent Wisenheimer we all loved so much.

He was fluent in pig latin, movie quotes and obscure music trivia.
 He had many hobbies as he enjoyed Doritos a great deal. He also loved karaoke, Comic Con conventions, bad dad jokes and, of course, his video games.&nbsp; He was an avid gamer but unfortunately he went before mastering Banjo Kazoo’s Bubblegloop swamp. Chili
 mac, new socks and Mountain Dew should get an honorable mention.

He
 is survived by his Mother, Beverly Rogers of Alva, two brothers, Jim Weinhoffer of Alva, - Matt and Melanye Weinhoffer of Granite City, Illinois - one sister, Laura and Hollis Lamkin of Alva. The angel who was the love of his life and life’s partner Jamie
 Page and her three daughters Danae, Taylor and sweet Miss Emma. We’re pretty sure just six children, Zachary and Connor of Alva, Braxton and his wife Destiny of Shawnee OK, and David of Kansas City, KS. Two daughters, Talia of Hutchinson and Amethyst of
 Halstead KS. Three grandchildren Areia, Johnnie and baby Violet; several nieces and nephews and his best friend Brother Jack who, may or may not have paid me in tacos to mention him.

He
 is preceded in death by one brother David Timothy, his father Ralph Weinhoffer, both sets of maternal and paternal grandparents, a pet goldfish, two horned toads, both named Bruce to avoid confusion, and his one eyed parrot, who suffered from a split personality,
 he called Sonny and Cher.

As
 much as he loved his family, he would truly rather chew off his own arm then endure a family gathering of any size for any occasion . . . which is clearly evident in that he chose to be cremated just to avoid attending his own funeral.

We
 can not paint an accurate picture of who he really was without the recognition of his ridiculous sense of humor, a craft, skillfully honed throughout his life. He was never without a quote from such giants as Mel Brooks, Bugs Bunny or Monty Python. Space
 Ghost, Family Guy and Southpark were, to his mother’s chagrin, always in his vernacular.&nbsp;

Dutch
 did truly love life. He was real, he was the laughter and joy, the hope and absolute essence of our tribe. The baby brother, confidant, consoler, keeper of secrets and giver of light and wisdom - he was the heartbeat of this family. His music was his passion,

 was beyond a doubt, the world’s okayest brother- he didn’t suck at being a son (although we’re all pretty sure he was his own favorite) and overall . . . he wasn’t awful.According to family lore, he was found under a rock somewhere near Sparta, Illinois on December
 12, 1974. He was a chubby little toe-headed baby who spent his days laughing, then crying because he couldn’t figure out where the noise was coming from. (I wish I was making that up.) Dutch took his place as the youngest sibling seriously and in a family that
 considers quick wit a must, and sarcasm a competitive sport, he surpassed us all. He did eventually grow up, I use that term loosely, to be the irreverent Wisenheimer we all loved so much.He was fluent in pig latin, movie quotes and obscure music trivia.
 He had many hobbies as he enjoyed Doritos a great deal. He also loved karaoke, Comic Con conventions, bad dad jokes and, of course, his video games.&nbsp; He was an avid gamer but unfortunately he went before mastering Banjo Kazoo’s Bubblegloop swamp. Chili
 mac, new socks and Mountain Dew should get an honorable mention.He
 is survived by his Mother, Beverly Rogers of Alva, two brothers, Jim Weinhoffer of Alva, - Matt and Melanye Weinhoffer of Granite City, Illinois - one sister, Laura and Hollis Lamkin of Alva. The angel who was the love of his life and life’s partner Jamie

 Ghost, Family Guy and Southpark were, to his mother’s chagrin, always in his vernacular.&nbsp;Dutch
 did truly love life. He was real, he was the laughter and joy, the hope and absolute essence of our tribe. The baby brother, confidant, consoler, keeper of secrets and giver of light and wisdom - he was the heartbeat of this family. His music was his passion,

Jacqueline R. “Jackie” Stade, 75, of Haven, KS, died at 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2020, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS.

She was born July 19, 1944 at Springfield, IL, the daughter of Jesse and Rosa (Russell) Cisco.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Jackie was a member of Saltcity Cowboy Church of South Hutchinson. She worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company and Bun-O-Matic. Jackie loved quilting, especially for her grandchildren.

On March 18, 1991, she married Victor Stade at Las Vegas NV. He survives. 

Also surviving are her daughters; Cindy (Allen) Blake of Galveston TX, Maryann (Melvin) Richards of Auburn, IL, and Tina (Richard) Dory of Winfield, KS.; sons, Roger (Noreen) Stone of &nbsp;Oklahoma City, OK., and Jeffrey (Lisa) Stone of Newton, KS.; 19 grandchildren; 31, and one on the way, great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse “Russell” (Sylvia) Cisco, Dale Cisco, and Bill Cisco; sisters, Geraldine Hamilton, and Anna (Everett) Langley; several nieces and nephews.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Earnest “Wayne” Alison, 88, of Halstead, Kansas, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Newton Medical Center in Newton, Kansas, from complications related to a stroke.

Born March 13, 1932, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, he was the son of John R. and Maud (Wright) Alison. The family moved to Kansas four years later and to Halstead in 1937 where he attended Halstead public schools and his parents operated a flower shop and greenhouse.

Upon graduating high school in 1951, he joined the U.S. Navy and was assigned to the Argentia Naval Base in Newfoundland.

Upon his discharge in 1953, Wayne attended Cliff Mann Floral School in Denver, Colorado. There he met Mary Lou Offenhauer of Palmetto, Florida. They were married Jan. 24, 1954, in Palmetto. She preceded him in death June 26, 2017.

The couple spent their entire married lives in Halstead where they reared their five children, Dale (Allison) Alison of Burlington, Iowa; Dean (Renae) Alison of Hesston, Kansas; Karen (Gerald) Koehn of Halstead; Sherri (Greg) Van Campen of Fort Worth, Texas; and Alan (Tamara) Alison of Strawn, Texas.

For most of his career, Wayne was a lineman/installer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., where he was known throughout Halstead as the “telephone man.” After retiring in 1982, he went to work for the Halstead Housing Authority, eventually managing its three complexes. Over the years, he drove buses for the school district, Halstead Hospital, and Harvey Interurban.

Wayne was an enthusiastic Halstead booster. Among the organizations he belonged to were the Ruth-Wilson American Legion Post and the Halstead Lions Club. He served on the Halstead-Bentley School Board and the Harvey County Regional Planning Board. He also was a past chairman of the Old Settlers Committee. For 15 years in the 1960s and ’70s, he was scoutmaster for Troop 125 and volunteered for many committees within the Quivira Council. He was a member of Halstead First United Methodist Church and served on many of its committees and boards.&nbsp;

In 2012, he and Mary Lou were the Old Settlers King and Queen. The couple enjoyed traveling and Wayne was proud that he visited all 50 states — the last, Hawaii, two years ago with his daughters.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren, Aaron (Nanette) Van Campen of Sugar Land, Texas; Travis (Debbie) Van Campen of Joshua, Texas; Ryan (Shannon) Van Campen of Dallas, Texas; Ben (Sarah) Alison of Harrisonburg, Virginia; Matthew (Marissa) Alison of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kate (Steffen) Sommers ofLeila, Pennsylvania; Kendra (Edward) Davila of Newton, Kansas; Rachel Alison of New Bedford, Massachusetts; Owen (Diamante) Alison of Strawn, Texas; and Ross (Ariana) Alison of Halstead; and nine great-grandchildren, Elijah, Evan, Rebekah, and Quinlyn Van Campen of Joshua, Texas; Kanyon and Hope Van Campen of Sugar Land, Texas; Emma Sommers ofLeila, Pennsylvania; Milo Alison of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Elena Alison of Strawn, Texas.

Ray Torrez, 50, died May 23, 2020, in Fort Myers, FL. He was born October 21, 1969, in Hutchinson, to Francisco Paul and Mary Ellen (Navarro) Torrez, Sr.

Ray graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1988 and received his bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University. Ray worked at Spirit AeroSystems, in Wichita, as an assembly mechanic. He loved his Kansas City Chiefs, collecting decanters, and was known as a kind and loyal animal lover. Ray was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.

On September 10, 2011, he married Paula Diane Linson, in Hutchinson.

Ray is survived by wife, Paula; daughter, Halley Gilbert (Tyler, all of Wichita; parents, Frank and Mary Torrez, Sr.; siblings, Frank Torrez, Jr. (Bridget, Karen Torrez, Joe Torrez (Cathy, and Lisa Torrez, all of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Ramona Gilbert; mother-in-law, Alice Linson; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his faithful companions, Peyton, Maggie, and Sophia.

Tony Dyer, 82, loving husband, father, grandfather, and Hutchinson Community College ambassador, died May 22, 2020, at Legend of Hutchinson. He was born January 23, 1938, in Wichita, to Leo and Lenora (Travis) Dyer.&nbsp;

Tony graduated as Valedictorian of Mount Hope High School in 1956 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Emporia State University. He played college football at Hutchinson Community College, Wichita State University, and Emporia State University. Tony began his career teaching at Central Junior High, and coaching football, along with track and field at Hutchinson Community College. Tony retired as President of KFSA, after more than 25 years of service. He served on the Hutchinson Community College Board of Trustees for over 11 years.&nbsp;

Tony was an affable man and known for his storytelling, bear hugs and ‘no quit grit’ work ethic. He was full of joy, kindness, and compassion. He touched many lives as a father, teacher, coach, leader, mentor, and businessman. Tony never met a stranger; he lived life to the fullest and was full of life. He will truly be missed.

On October 12, 1989, he married Karon Martin (Hughes, in Wichita.

Jackqueline (Jackie) LaRetta Miller, 89, of Hutchinson passed away on May 26, 2020 at Buhler Sunshine Home. She was born March 11, 1931 in Lyons, Kansas, the daughter of Bert and Olive Witt. She married Richard (Dick) Shelby Miller on September 6, 1950. Jackie Miller was a Mother and homemaker and later worked in Retail.

Jackie is survived by her children: Cindy Boor (Loren Dreiling, Rick Miller, Mike Miller (Cindy, Soni McClelland (Ken, Mark Miller (Michelle, Tauni Manka (Bob, and Mitsi Dale (Ronnie). She is also survived by many many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bert &amp; Olive Witt, husband Richard “Dick” Miller, and sister Mary Jane Witt.

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Mary Ann Westfahl, 93, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at her home. She was born June 7, 1926 in rural Meade, Kansas the daughter of Abraham T. and Sarah (Regehr) Wiens.

She worked as a registered nurse at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson. She was also a private duty nurse and worked at Buhler Sunshine Home as a charge nurse.

Mary Ann was united in marriage to Paul E. Westfahl on October 9, 1949.&nbsp; He preceded her in death on January 22, 1993.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she served on the sympathy committee and altar committee. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Unit (EHU) and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML). She volunteered for many years for the blood mobile.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Westfahl of Haven; daughters, Peggy Seck of Haven, Arlene (Vernon) Bontrager of Hutchinson, and Diane (Richard) Goldberg of McPherson; sister, Helen Janzen of Alva, OK; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, William and Walter Wiens; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Westfahl.

Lorraine Miller, 99, passed away on May 22, 2020 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born January 24, 1921 in Greensburg, KS., to William and Margaret (Friesen) Smith.

Lorraine graduated from Greensburg High School in 1939. She then attended Hesston College where she met her husband Milton R. Miller. They married in Greensburg then in 1942. The couple celebrated 74 years together before he passed on October 2, 2016. She was an active member of Whitestone Mennonite Church of Hesston until they retired and moved to Schowalter Villa.

Lorraine was a homemaker and had several jobs she enjoyed. There was a small school in Zimmerdale and she enjoyed being the cook for them.&nbsp; She also was a nanny for a family in Wichita. After her children were in school she decided to ring doorbells as an Avon lady which she did for 30 years. She had a love for people which was evident till the end.&nbsp; She was a friend to all.

She is survived by her children, Diane (Bill) Shumaker of Pueblo West, CO., Ron (JoAnne) Miller of Pueblo West, CO., and Brenda Hershberger, Newton, KS.; sister, Marcia (Ben) Wiens, Peoria, AZ.; eleven grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton; sister, Helen Schreiner; and brother, Harold Smith.

Roland H. “Bus” Kaufman, son of Joseph P. and Maria (Flickner) Kaufman, was born on March 13, 1918 on the family farm in McPherson County. He passed away May 25, 2020 at the age of 102.&nbsp;

He graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1935. He attended Bethel College for two years before transferring to Kansas State University where he graduated in 1940 with a degree in Industrial Arts Education.

He was baptized upon his confession of faith on June 23, 1935, by Rev. C.J. Goering at Eden Mennonite Church, where he remained a faithful member until his death.

He married Ruby R. Miller on June 11, 1946, in Freeman, South Dakota, and they shared more than 60 years together.

Following graduation from KSU, Bus began his teaching career at Olsburg High School, teaching science and industrial arts. During his second year there, he was drafted into World War II and entered Civilian Public Service which took him to Weeping Waters, Nebraska; Goshen, Indiana; Mulberry, Florida; and La Plata, Puerto Rico, from 1942-1946. He taught at Pioneer Grade School (one year, Elyria Grade School (eight years, Cloverleaf Grade School (two years, and Moundridge Grade School (19 years, focusing mainly on math and science in the later years.&nbsp; He retired from teaching in 1979 with a total of 33 years.

Bus is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Stucky, Moundridge; sons, Stuart Kaufman, McPherson, and Perry (Betty) Kaufman, Moundridge; grandchildren, Meredith (Matt) Kauffman, Lancaster, PA, Joshua (Tricia) Stucky, Moundridge, and Tyler (Kristen) Stucky, Moundridge; great-grandchildren, Reese, Keira, and Hazel Stucky, Moundridge, Carsten and Merin Kauffman, Lancaster, PA, and Kinslee Stucky, Moundridge; and sister-in-law, Leona Kaufman.

Dave Abe Hildebrandt, 95, of South Hutchinson, died Friday, May 22, 2020. He was born February 10, 1925, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Gerhardt and Anna (Braun) Hildebrandt.

Dave went to school through the 8th&nbsp;grade in a one room school at Willow Grove, south of Buhler. In 1954, he graduated from Salt City Business College. Dave was a partsman for Earl Kirk Chrysler Plymouth for 30 years. Dave was a member of South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.

On May 18, 1947, he married Vernia Jane McBride, in Turon. His wife of 65 years, Jane died June 15, 2012.

Surviving are children, Nancy Baalman of Wichita, and William ‘Bill’ and wife Lindy of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Jonathan Baalman of Wichita, Jennifer Storment and husband Casey of Wichita, and Robert Baalman and wife Marissa of Philadelphia, PA; niece, Doris Showalter of the home; and great-grandchildren, Shawn and Korey Stanley, and Nolan and Cara Storment, all of Wichita.

He was preceded in death by his parents and all six siblings.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Elliott Chapel, with The Reverend Claire Gager presiding. Burial, with military honors, will be conducted by the Army National Guard Unit, Topeka, KS, in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Mike graduated from Hutchinson High School and worked as a machinist in several area shops and at Consolidated for 12 years. He was a member of Guardians of the Children Motorcycle Club - Salt City Chapter, and loved camping, fishing, and participating in Toys-for-Tots. Mike was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Hutchinson.

He is survived by his fiancé, Linda Cole, of the home; brothers, Daniel Gonzales, Hutchinson, David Gonzales (Kim) Phoenix, AZ, James Gonzales (Marla, Oklahoma City, OK; stepchildren, Michael Klaers, Perkins, OK, Boe Nelson (Jessica, Anna Yoder (Wilbur, Rita Riney (Terryn, all of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren (of whom Ariya and Jacobi Klaers were his favorite); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nathan Wayne Bennett, 44, of Hutchinson, died May 21, 2020, at his residence. He was born December 28, 1975, in Lyons, to Everette L. and Sandra L. (Haney) Bennett.

Nathan graduated from Hutchinson High School and was a machinist for Eaton Corporation.

He is survived by his father, Everette Bennett and wife, Pamela Gould, of Hutchinson; mother, Sandra Bennett of Hutchinson; brothers, Aaron (Amy) Bennett of Hutchinson, Jason E. Bennett of Hutchinson, and Jared Bennett of Santa Ana, CA; six nieces and nephews; and one great-niece and one great-nephew.

Nathan was preceded in death by his uncle, Gerald Bennett.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a future date.

 </figure>Nathan Wayne Bennett, 44, of Hutchinson, died May 21, 2020, at his residence. He was born December 28, 1975, in Lyons, to Everette L. and Sandra L. (Haney) Bennett.Nathan graduated from Hutchinson High School and was a machinist for Eaton Corporation.He is survived by his father, Everette Bennett and wife, Pamela Gould, of Hutchinson; mother, Sandra Bennett of Hutchinson; brothers, Aaron (Amy) Bennett of Hutchinson, Jason E. Bennett of Hutchinson, and Jared Bennett of Santa Ana, CA; six nieces and nephews; and one great-niece and one great-nephew.Nathan was preceded in death by his uncle, Gerald Bennett.Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a future date.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Marjean Leona (Waltner) Zerger-Stucky, 86, of Moundridge, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Pine Village. She was born May 25, 1933 to Otto J. and Marie (Schrag) Waltner on a farm west of Moundridge, Kansas.

She&nbsp;received her education at Pleasant Ridge Grade School and graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1951.

Upon her confession of faith, Marjean was baptized on June 5, 1949 by Rev. Walter Gering. She joined the Eden Mennonite Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.

On May 31, 1951, she was united in marriage to James W. Zerger. To this union two sons and one daughter were born;&nbsp;Bill in 1952, Bryan in 1953 and Brenda in 1960. After 18 years of marriage, Jim was killed in a pickup-train accident on October 11, 1969.

On September 6, 1975, she married Ralph D. Stucky. He passed away on January 19, 2006.

Survivors include her sons, William “Bill” (Carol) Zerger and Bryan (Angie) Zerger, both of Moundridge; daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Childs of Woodstock, GA; step-sons, Rodney (Mary) Stucky of Cincinnati, OH and Rene (Phyllis) Stucky of Wichita; brothers, Orville (MaryAnn) Waltner of Moundridge and Glenn (Marilyn) Waltner of Denver, CO; sisters, Luenne (LaVerne) Flickinger of Moundridge and Marianne (Bob) Seacat of El Dorado; six grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Marjean was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Delene Goering; and brother, Robert Waltner.

Private family services will be held at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery.&nbsp; Due to state mandates and the serious nature of COVID-19, the family requests friends that want to pay their respects to Marjean and her family may do so by a drive by viewing at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2020 on the west side of Eden Mennonite Church. Michael W. Kimball, formally of Halstead, age 71, passed away May 19, 2020 at Reflection Living, in Hutchinson, KS. after an extended illness. 

Born the eldest son of Wayne Kimball and Donna Nelson, in Davenport, IA, both having preceded him, along with his stepmother, Bette Kimball, a sister, Margery Kimball and a brother, David Rasler.

Michael attended Halstead schools for his junior and senior year. He then followed his family back to Davenport, IA. He worked at Gate City Steel, Ralston Purina and then was a heavy equipment operator. In his later years, he D.J.’d at the Silver Spur in Hutchinson and also worked as a cook in Arizona and Halstead. He became a resident of Meadowlark Community in 2003.

Michael had one son, Bradley Kimball of Bettenddorf, IA, and a granddaughter Bobblie (James) Wallis of Sayre, OK.

Other Survivors include six sisters, Kathy (Homer) Unruh, Tammy (Brian) Unruh both of Burrton, Connie (Kenny) Anderson of Hutchinson, Candace (Jeff) Kepford, and Tonya Rhodes both of Davenport, IA., Gale Hinkling of Midlothian VA.; five brothers, Steven (Reisa) Kimball of Halstead, Wayne (Dawn) Kimball of Bentonville, AR., Danny and Shawn Rasler both of Davenport, IA. and Mike (Kim) Anderson of Fairfax, VA. 

Per Michaels wishes, no services will be held. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

On May 10, 2020 Richard D. Bingham passed away at home surrounded by family, after a long and hard battle with cancer.

Richard was born on December 14, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas to Walter and Bessie (Madison) Bingham. Growing up their family moved many times, but Richard always said Arkansas felt the most like home. In 1972, Richard joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in California. During a visit with family in Augusta, KS he met Linda. The couple wrote letters back and forth for months until Richard finished his time in the service and returned to Kansas, where the two married on April 29th, 1974.

After many years of managing a farm for Tyson Foods in Oklahoma, Richard and Linda chose to relocate their family to Burrton, Ks, where many of his family members lived. Prior to his cancer diagnosis, Richard was regularly seen mowing yards in town, at his grandson's sporting events, drinking coffee at the Kwik Shop, fishing, or sitting on the front porch of the family's home.
