The Blue Dragon men rebounded from Saturday's loss in a big way, getting a one 115 to 94 conference victory over Independence last night. Dragons improved to 13 and 6 overall 7 and 6 in Jayhawk conference play. The Dragons hit 17 three pointers. Aaron Franklin led the Dragons with 20. Aaron Potter matched a season high with 15. Jaden Garrison 15. KB Bundy had 12. Congrats to Tommy Dawson and the Hutchinson men. A big win in Independence last night.
HutchCC women's basketball team extended their winning streak to five and get a convincing win over Independence last night as sophomore Mia Williams put together her second straight 28 point performance. And Hutchinson wins 82-58. They had a 29 point halftime lead. Dragons improved to 15 and 4. The ladies are 9 and 4 in Jayhawk conference play. Freshman Monet Duffy had her third straight double double with 14 points 11 boards. Freshman Jurnee Armstead had 14.

This afternoon, we have high school basketball here on BW Radio Sports as a lot of area teams will be in action today. Hutchinson will play and Dodge City as they are the 1 seed in the Dodge City Tournament of Champions. They'll play Newton at 2:00. Our pregame starts at 1:45 sharp here this afternoon.
Chiefs wide receiver Necole HERDMAN is the only member of the 53 man roster not practicing as the team begin working on its game plan for the Jaguars. Andy Reid said that defensive end Frank Clark is progressing well, as is wide receiver Sky Moore, who could be seen practicing. Should be good to go. Reid also confirmed that running back Clyde Edwards-helaire and tight end Jodie Fortson would also take the field this week, meaning the Chiefs have officially designated them for return from injured reserve. The Chiefs will play host Jacksonville Saturday at 3:30. Our pre-game will start here at 2 pm on BW Radio Sports.
Also announced yesterday, Field at Arrowhead saying that rapper Lil Jon will be performing at halftime of the AFC divisional playoff game between the Jags and the Chiefs. Another
Reno County coach's show tonight here at 6:00, Glen will chat with Haven boys basketball coach Lonnie Paramor and I'll chat with Haven Girls coach Dwight Roper. Both Haven teams are unbeaten at this point in the season.
