YODER, Kan. — One of the great late summer traditions in Reno County kicks off Saturday morning with the annual Yoder Heritage Day celebration. As always it starts off with the pancake feed at 6 a.m. before a full day of activities begins.
You can start the day with the horse drawn plowing demonstration starting at 8 a.m. The parade begins at 10:30. Other activities include pony and buggy races, a foosball court, tractor pull and a draft horse show. Of course the day ends with a concert by Highway 14 at 5 p.m. and Rusty Rierson at 7 p.m. The celebration ends with the fireworks celebration at dusk. All activities are free.
