HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College student Aubrianna Oberle has been selected as a 2026 Chime Workforce Scholar, a national honor awarded to 200 students across the country.
The $1,000 scholarship, funded by the Chime Scholars Foundation and administered by the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation, supports students pursuing credentials in high-demand career fields.
Oberle is completing HutchCC’s traditional licensed practical nurse-to-registered nurse bridge program. After graduating, she plans to work as an emergency room or medical-surgical nurse.
In addition to her studies, Oberle works at different medical facilities as a travel nurse. She thanked her parents, Roy and Melissa Oberle, and her fiancé, Shawn Simmons, for their support.
“I am extremely happy for Aubrianna and her hard work being recognized by the Chime Scholars Foundation,” HutchCC Phi Theta Kappa Chapter adviser Ryan Diehl said. “She is very deserving of this award.”
