TOPEKA — Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly reappointed a member of the Kansas State Fair Board to his position Thursday.
Governor Laura Kelly reappointed Robert Atkisson to the Kansas State Fair Board.
The purpose of the Board is to promote and showcase Kansas agriculture, industry and culture; to create opportunity for commercial activity; and to provide an educational and entertaining experience that is the pride of all Kansans.
Atkisson, of Stockton, was reappointed to the seat reserved for a representative from the Kansas Fairs Association.
John Bottenberg, Harmon Bliss and Nick Ketzner were reappointed earlier this year.
