Roger Gene Fuller | 1938 - 2021 |

Roger Gene Fuller, was born on June 1, 1938, to Walter and Lillie Fuller at Franklin, NE., and passed away at the age of 82 on April 5, 2021, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.

In his youth and teen years, he grew up helping his parents with the farming in Smith County. Roger was a 1957 graduate of Smith Center High School and joined the Army National Guard after graduation. He married Glennia Graham on Sept. 6, 1959. To this union, five children were born, Susan Sellers, Phoenix, AZ., Sheila Heartfield, Salina, KS., Mickie Floyd, Turon, KS., Roger Fuller, Jr. (deceased) and Rick Fuller, Hutchinson, KS.

Roger worked many years for Bogaarts Bread Plant in Smith Center. In his later years he moved to Hutchinson where he was employed at Jackson Ice Cream until his retirement. His hobbies after retirement was putting puzzles together which he thoroughly enjoyed. No matter how tough times were, he always had a smile and loved to joke. He will be greatly missed as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Roger is survived by his wife, Glennia; three daughters, Susan, Sheila and Mickie; one son, Rick; two sisters, Darlene Peters, Hutchinson, KS., and Marylin Gibson, Wentzville, MO., 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and three grandchildren.

His wish was to be cremated. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2021 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. Burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center, KS. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
