The practice had grown exponentially over the past several years and has been partially blamed for a steady league-wide decline in batting average. The new rule states that all four infielders must have both feet within the outer boundary of the infield — and two infielders must be on each side of second base — when the pitch is delivered. MLB has also mandated that the infield dirt cutout have uniform dimensions in all 30 ballparks. The outfield edge of the dirt must be 95 feet from the front of the pitching rubber.

Beltrán’s departure was announced three days after he was the only Astros player mentioned by name in Major League Baseball’s report that concluded that Houston broke rules by using electronics to steal signs en route to the 2017 World Series title.

The automaker’s 42-year sponsorship ends with this PGA Tour event. Potential successors will be in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to decide if they want to buy the naming rights. Only three of the game's top 20-ranked players are in the field this week.

The fifth season of the popular “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” franchise launches on Friday.

Sports Headlines for Thursday

WICHITA, Kan.-The Wichita Sky Kings will make their 2023 season debut as one of the newest franchises of The Basketball League (TBL) March 3rd on the road against the Southeast Texas Panthers whose home base is located in Beaumont, Texas.

The newest Pro Basketball Wichita franchise is part of the Central division of the TBL.&nbsp;The Sky Kings is the latest venture from businessman Ben Hamd and his wife Lydia, who have investments in Wichita. Hamd is trying to generate interest in the newest pro team in Wichita. He is offering competitive pay to attract qualified pros and he has already rented out and paid for an entire season’s worth of games for the team to play at Koch Arena, which will be an outstanding venue for The Basketball League. 

The Sky Kings will be coached by Sean Flynn, the former Pratt Community College Coach who coached the Beavers in the KJCCC from 2018-2021. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

Researching every player on Wichita’s roster you will notice that each player has made at least 40% of their 3-pointers at some level, whether it was in college or in the professional ranks. &nbsp;Flynn's contacts at the&nbsp;colleges have helped him land some of the top shooters available in the country.

One example is Charlie Marquardt, a former Division 2 sharpshooter who hit 14 3-pointers in a game in TBL play last season, Kam Williams, a 2018 Ohio State graduate who averaged 17.1 points in Denmark last year, and Matt Cerruti, a recent Albany grad who made 45% of his 3-pointers and averaged 11.3 points last season. Other Wichita Sky Kings signings include veteran point guard Derrick Colter, a 4-year starter at Duquesne who has played overseas in Portugal, France, Ukraine and Switzerland, Jachai Simmons, a 6-7 swing man in the TBL last season&nbsp;averaged 21 points per game, Julian Winton, a 2018 Tabor College graduate who averaged 25 points in the TBL last season, and Damari Milstead, who just finished his college career by averaging 12.1 points at Cal State Fullerton.

A very familiar name to local fans is Teddy Allen, who starred last season at New Mexico State, where he scored 37 points to lead the Aggies to an NCAA tournament upset over Connecticut. Allen also spent a year redshirting with the Wichita State Shockers, but never played for the team. Allen helped recruit two other former Aggies in Terrell Brown, a guard who shot 43% on threes in a season and was a former all-WAC player, and Johnny McCants, a 6-foot-7 forward who was an all-WAC defensive team player under former WSU assistant, Chris Jans last season.

 The team is currently conducting two-a-day practices at Calvary Church on Rock Road in Wichita. The Sky Kings will play in two scrimmages before the season and they hope to make an addition or two when the NBA G-League season is completed.

The Sky Kings will debut in Wichita on March 17 at 7 p.m. at Koch Arena versus the Shreveport, Louisiana Mavericks. All road and home games will be streamed the the <a href="https://tbltv.tv/SkyKings">TBL.TV Network</a>&nbsp;which is a pay-per-view network. Back-to-back double-doubles, including just the second 20-20 game in Blue Dragon women's basketball history, propelled Hutchinson Community College freshman forward&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/wbkb/2022-23/bios/duffy_monae_4kqq">Monae Duffy</a>&nbsp;to her first Jayhawk Conference Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week award on Tuesday.

The 5-foot-11 freshman from Lafayette, Louisiana had 19 points and 14 rebounds in an 80-41 victory against Colby last Tuesday. She the carried the Blue Dragons to a big home victory over Northwest Tech and a career-high 25 points and 20 rebounds, her second 20-rebound game of the season.

Duffy joins Ariella McGhee as the only players in Blue Dragon women's history to have 20 points and 20 rebounds in a single game. Duffy now owns 2 of the 5 all-time 20-rebound games in team history. 'For the week, Duffy averaged 22.0 points and 17.0 rebounds while shooting 52.8 percent from the field. She also averaged 2.5 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocked shots.

This is the third time a Blue Dragon player has won a conference player of the week award this season.&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/wbkb/2022-23/bios/williams_mya_wx3b">Mya Williams</a>&nbsp;has won the award twice this season.

Blue Dragon batters smacked four home runs and Blue Dragon pitchers allowed a combined three hits and struck out a combined 18 batters as the Hutchinson Community College baseball team returned to Hobart-Detter Field with a sweep of the Tabor College JV on Tuesday at Hobart-Detter Field.

Bradford then went 3 for 4 with a leadoff home run to finished off a 10-0 victory in Game 2, also in five innings.

The Blue Dragons are now 6-3 overall. Hutchinson plays a three-game series at Rose State this weekend in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Bradford had a huge day, going a combined 5 of 6 with two home runs, a double, four RBIs and four runs scored. He extended his hitting streak to nine games.

The pitching staff had plenty of run support against the Blue Jays.

Mustow hit his first home run as a Blue Dragon, a two-run shot to center field in the third inning. Bradford later had a two-run single and Edmunson followed that with a three-run home run, his third of the season, to left field to cap a seven-run inning for a 12-1 lead.

Wilson (1-0) earned the win in his first career start. He threw two inning and allowed two hits and a run with two strikeouts. Johnson struck out five in two innings. Bell struck out the side in the top of the fifth.

The Blue Dragons had nine total hits with four extra-base hits.

Bradford was 2 of 2 with a walk, two runs scored a homer and three RBIs to lead the Blue Dragons. Gardner was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Edmunson also had three RBIs. Mustow and Wesslund had two RBIs each.

GAME 2 RECAP The Blue Dragons scored at least one run in each of their five offensive innings and collected 12 total hits.

Bradford went 3 for and hit for three-fourths of the cycle with a single, double and home run.

Mustow went 3 for 3 with a single, double and triple, driving in two runs with a two-run double in the Dragons' three-run first.

Holstein worked a 1-2-3 fourth inning with a strikeout. Wickersham struck out the side in the fifth inning.

Edmundson singled in the first inning to extend his hitting streak to nine games.

The ceremonial groundbreaking for the arena that will house the league that’s being called TGL was held Tuesday at Palm Beach State College. Woods and McIlroy are among the co-founders and were there for the first step of actual construction. Play will begin early next year. Woods and McIlroy so far have 11 players committed to the league. Besides them, the league will include world No. 1 Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Adam Scott, Collin Morikawa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Max Homa, Billy Horschel, Justin Rose and Xander Schauffele.

Tuscaloosa Police investigator Brandon Culpepper testified Tuesday that Miller brought Darius Miles’ gun to him on the night of the shooting after Miles texted him and asked him to do so. The allegation of Miller’s involvement on Jan. 15 came during a preliminary hearing for Miles and Michael Davis, who face capital murder charges for the death of 23-year-old Jamea Harris. Alabama coach Nate Oats says the team has been aware of Miller's alleged involvement and he was just in “the wrong spot at the wrong time."

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Kansas State coach Jerome Tang leaped onto the courtside table and pumped his fists, then landed a spectacular dismount, before climbing into the student section and joining in the “Wabash Cannonball” dance to celebrate another ranked win.

Keyontae Johnson scored 25 points, Markquis Nowell added 14 points and 10 assists, and the No. 14 Wildcats followed a long first-half slump with a big second-half run to beat ninth-ranked Baylor 75-65 on Tuesday night.

In doing so, they gave their first-year coach a season sweep of Tang's former team and his longtime mentor, Scott Drew.

“I tried to tell y’all I’m athletic,” said Tang, who spent 19 years on the Baylor bench and helped bring a national title to Waco, Texas. “They were arguably the hottest team in the league, except the second half of the last game and this game.”

Cam Carter added 10 points for the Wildcats (21-7, 9-6 Big 12), who trailed 34-31 at the break before their 18-4 charge gave them control. They coasted from there to a school record-tying seventh win over a ranked team this season.

The last two — against Iowa State and Baylor — came after the Wildcats had lost four of five.

“I thought it was another typical Big 12 game,” Drew said. “K-State played like you're supposed to on your home court. I thought Keyontae Johnson, we really had trouble matching up with him pretty much all night, and then Nowell struggled from the field but 10 assists, zero turnovers. That's why they're first-team all-leaguers.”

Baylor was coming off an 87-71 loss at No. 3 Kansas on Saturday in which the Bears were phenomenal in the first half, building a 17-point lead, and dreadful in the second, when they were outscored 55-26 while looking listless and lost.

The Bears' kept that Jekyll-and-Hyde act going Tuesday night.

Their sluggish finish in Lawrence carried over to the opening 13 minutes in Manhattan, when the Wildcats were able to methodically build a 24-13 lead. But after Drew called a timeout, his guys answered with a 3-pointer fueled 21-3 run over the next 6-plus minutes, allowing Baylor to take a 34-31 advantage into the break.

Cryer did most of the damage, going 4 of 5 from beyond the arc and scoring 11 first-half points.

“We did a really good job early and we messed up on some ball-screen coverages and they were able to make some 3s,” Tang said. “At halftime the team said, ‘Coach, if we do this it’ll make it better for us.' And the fact that they were thinking about how the problems were taking place and they came up with the solution, that was big time.”

Whatever the change, it certainly worked.

The Bears still led 40-37 in the opening minutes of the second half when Johnson scored back-to-back baskets to give Kansas State the lead. David N'Guessan kept the charge going, and it eventually reached 18-4 when Carter took a turnover by the Bears' Caleb Lohner for a dunk that made it 55-44 with just over 8 minutes left in the game.

“It's hard to stop transition offense, especially off turnovers,” Carter said. “We capitalized on that.”

The Wildcats stretched their lead to as many as 14 points before wrapping up the season sweep of the Bears.

“It started in practice,” Nowell said. “Whenever we're in practice, we come with that energy. We have a good scout, we play well. We've been focusing on practice a lot more, focusing on the defensive side, and we got two wins to show for it.”

Baylor struggled to find some help for George and Cryer on offense. Adam Flagler missed his first nine shots and finished with four points on 1-for-13 shooting, and Jalen Bridges had just six points while dealing with foul trouble all night.

Kansas State overcame a poor night from the 3-point arc (4 of 21) by dominating the guard-heavy Bears with a 42-16 edge in the paint. Many of those points came in transition, where the Wildcats had a 19-5 advantage off turnovers.

Baylor returns home to play eighth-ranked Texas on Saturday.

Kansas State visits Oklahoma State the same day.

🏀 MBB: Johnson leads No. 14 K-State to win over No. 9 Baylor

HUTCHINSON, Kan.— Both Derby basketball teams had big second halves on Tuesday night, enabling the Panthers to sweep the Salthawks, 35-16 in the girls contest and 66-52 in the boys nightcap.

The Hutchinson game plan was simple on Tuesday.&nbsp; Control the tempo and slow the game down and work for a good shot. That worked great in the first half with the Panthers only having a slim one point lead at intermission, 10 to 9. But turnovers plagued the Salthawks in the second half, as Derby promptly took advantage of those turnovers and went on a 15 to 1 run in the third quarter to lead 25 to 10 going into the fourth.

Hutchinson attempted to make a run, but Derby was just too strong and the Panthers cruised to a 35 to 16 win over the Salthawk girls.

Hutchinson Guard Josie McLean went down with an apparent knee injury in the first half and did not return to action. Her knee appeared to give out as she was attempting a layup in the 2nd quarter. The full extent of her injury will not be known until she is evaluated on Wednesday.

Hutch was led in scoring by Grace Posch with 12 points. Aliyah Green had 4 points.&nbsp; No one else scored for Hutchinson.

Derby was led in scoring by Addy Brown with 13 points. Destiny Smith and Jaden Wilson each had 10 points apiece for the Panther girls.

The Salthawk girls loss puts Hutch in a three-way tie for the final home sub-state seed with Maize South and Andover Central all with 14-5 records. 

Final standings are determined by: 1. win-loss percentage; 2: head-to-head games; 3. marginal point differential with a maximum of +/- 15 per game.

The Salthawks (14-5) are tied with both Andover Central and Maize South in the win-loss percentage and swept Maize South this season. Hutch trails Andover Central in the point differential.

Hutchinson closes out the regular season by hosting Newton next Friday. 

The boys game went very similar to the girls contest with the Salthawks only trailing by 4 points at the half to a red hot shooting Derby team 33 to 29. But that was as close as the Salthawks would come the rest of the way, as Dallas Metzger scored 15 of his game high 18 in the third quarter and Salthawk turnovers held Hutch to only 8 points in the quarter, as Derby extended the lead to 16 points to led 53 to 37 going into the fourth.

Hutch could never get it going in the final quarter and suffered their first loss of the 2022-23 season 66 to 52 on Tuesday night.

Hutch was led in scoring by Nic Lange's 14 points. Terrell King had 9, Dauntay King 7, Wade Meyer, Garrett Robinson and Jay Lewis each scored 5. Devon Spiller added 6 points.

Derby was led by Kaden Franklin with 20 points along with Metzger's 18. Karson Fisher-Brown added 8 as well as Mason Anderson off the bench with 8. Jack Ulwelling added 6 in a reserve role.

Hutchinson (18-1) closes out the regular season by hosting Newton on Friday. Derby (14-5) hosts Maize.

The Salthawks still will receive one of the 4 top seeds in the sub-state games that start for the boys on March 1. They are tied at 18-1 with Kapaun Mt. Carmel of Wichita. Kapaun is leading in the point differential.

🏀 High School Scores from Tuesday

<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/munson_emily_vjqm">Emily Munson</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/pennycuff_morgan_4wht">Morgan Pennycuff</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/wertz_riley_hm55">Riley Wertz</a>&nbsp;combined to toss back-to-back shutouts in the Hutchinson Community College softball team's 2023 home opener on Tuesday against Labette.

Munson and Wertz combined to throw a four-hit shutout on a 7-0 victory in Game 1. Pennycuff and Wertz also combined on a four-hit shutout and the Dragons exploded for nine runs over the final three innings in a 9-0 five-inning run-rule victory in Game 2.

The Blue Dragons improved to 10-3 overall. Hutchinson plays at the Bethany College JV on Friday and plays host to Hesston College on Saturday at Fun Valley.

Making her first start since returning from an injury, Munson (1-0) tossed six scoreless innings in Game 1. She had three strikeouts and a walk while allowing four hits. Munson allowed only one runner to reach third base. Wertz then struck out the side in the fifth.

Pennycuff struck out five in 4 1-3 innings. She allowed four hits and three walks. Pennycuff got out of jams in the second and fourth innings when Labette had runners at second and third with one out in each inning.

With Hutchinson leading 4-0, Pennycuff (4-1) was lifted with two on and one out. Wertz got back-to-back strikeouts to end the inning and get her second save of the season and 11th of her career.

GAME 1 RECAP The Blue Dragons racked up 10 hits, scoring in 4 of 6 offensive innings.

The Dragons took a 1-0 lead on an unearned runs in the first inning. Hutchinson's took a 3-0 lead in the third on Mastin's two-run double with two out in the third inning.

Mastin singled home Grimes in the fifth for a 4-0 lead.&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/sykora_grace_dykt">Grace Sykora</a>&nbsp;had an RBI double and Sandoval singled in a run and&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/goetz_aspen_qe50">Aspen Goetz</a>&nbsp;hit a sacrifice fly to give Hutchinson a 7-0 lead.

GAME 2 RECAP Mastin and Sykora had two hits each to lead the Blue Dragon nine-hit attack.

Mastin was 2 for 2 with a home run and two runs scored. Sykora was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs.

Grimes had an RBI triple to set a new career record with her eighth triple and she moved within four hits of surpassing Jessica Glenn as the new all-time hits' leader in Blue Dragon history.

<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/irwin_preslee_8388">Preslee Irwin</a>&nbsp;was 1 for 2 with a season-high three RBIs when she hit a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth to push the game into run-rule territory.

Grimes' two-run triple in the third scored Irwin and Sandoval for a 2-0 lead.

Mastin led off the fourth with her third home run of the season to make it 3-0. Irwin's groundout plated pinch-runner&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/sball/2022-23/bios/lozoya_tamara_3twe">Tamara Lozoya</a>&nbsp;for a 4-0 lead.

The Dragons loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the fifth. Jaleigh Darnell had an RBI groundout to score Goetz for a 5-0 lead. Kansas freshman Gradey Dick has been named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week in a vote by a media panel which covers the league. It is the third time this season Dick has earned the accolade.

A Wichita, Kansas guard, Dick opened the week scoring a career-high 26 points with three rebounds, three assists and two steals in the 87-76 road win at Oklahoma State, ending the Cowboys’ five-game winning streak. In the 87-71 win versus No. 9 Baylor, Dick scored 16 points with five rebounds and two steals. For the week, Dick averaged 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in the two Kansas wins.

Dick’s 63 threes are tied for fourth-most made in the Big 12 and rank fifth on the KU freshmen all-time list. His 14.7 scoring average is second on the KU team and ranks fifth on the KU freshmen list, just ahead of Danny Manning’s 14.6 ppg set in 1984. Dick also ranks second on the KU freshman list in free throw percentage at 84.9% and 10th in steals with 42.

This marks the fifth Big 12 weekly honor for a Jayhawk in 2022-23. Redshirt-junior forward Jalen Wilson was the Big 12 Player of the Week on Dec. 5, while teammate KJ Adams was the player of the week on Jan. 16. Besides Monday, Dick was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Nov. 21 and Dec. 5.

The size of the bases has been increased to 18-inch squares from 15. The new pitch clock is 15 seconds with no runners on base and 20 seconds with runners. The increasingly frequent infield shift has been eliminated, and there is a limit of two of what MLB calls disengagements — pickoff attempts or steps off the rubber — per plate appearance.

But he snapped that streak by winning the longest Daytona 500 in history. He won in double overtime, under caution, to end a losing streak that spanned 2,060 days and 199 races. The victory gave JTG just its second trophy to take back to its North Carolina shop, and it happens to be the biggest piece of hardware in NASCAR.

ESPN reports that Westbrook's agent, Jeff Schwartz, told the outlet he will sign with the Clippers after completing a contract buyout on the remaining $47 million the guard is owed on his expiring deal. Westbrook averaged 15.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 28.7 minutes per game during a rocky tenure with the Lakers. The move would reunite Westbrook with Paul George, his former teammate in Oklahoma City. George had lobbied for the Clippers to land Westbrook.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Big 12 scoring leader Jalen Wilson was struggling with his shot for third-ranked Kansas, and standout freshman Gradey Dick didn't score again after reaching 19 points only two minutes into the second half.

The Jayhawks, in pursuit of their 21st Big 12 regular-season title, still never trailed after halftime and extended the league's longest active winning streak to five in a row, beating&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-basketball-poll">24th-ranked TCU</a>&nbsp;63-58 on Monday night.

“I’ve said all along, we’ve got five guys that can all go out there and play and take over the game. And that’s the beauty of our team," said Wilson, who had 13 rebounds while&nbsp;<a href="https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/35704230">making only 3-of-11 shots for seven points</a>, more than 13 below his season average. “We’re all going to have some type of effort to win. ... That’s part of a championship team."

The Frogs tied the game at 48 with 10:13 left when&nbsp;<a href="https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/35704179">Jakobe Coles made a tough leaner</a>&nbsp;while being fouled, but missed the free throw that would have put them in the lead.

Mike Miles Jr. had 13 points for TCU, which has lost five of its last six games. The first four of those losses came when the guard was out with a hyperextended right knee. Coles added 12 points and Baugh had 11.

It was only the second game Miles and big man Eddie Lampkin played together for the Frogs since their 83-60 win at Allen Fieldhouse on Jan. 21. That was the second-worst home loss for Kansas in Self’s 20 seasons.

With both of them starting again, TCU beat Oklahoma State 100-75 at home Saturday to end a four-game losing streak while hitting the century mark in a Big 12 game for the first time. Lampkin, who missed four of six games after a high left ankle sprain in the first meeting against the Jayhawks, had two points and eight rebounds in the rematch.

“It’s disappointing how we played and how we executed and how we handled the situation,” TCU coach Jamie Dixon said. “Obviously played good in our last game, excited about having our guys back. But we just didn’t carry it over.”

Kansas: The Jayhawks reached 11 conference wins for the 29th consecutive season, a streak that began in 1994-95 and is the longest active in Division I. They have three regular-season games left, two at home before the finale at Texas.

TCU: After shooting a season-high 68.6% against Oklahoma State two days earlier, the Frogs were a season-low 30.3% (20 of 66) from the field against Kansas. They missed their first eight shots in the first 5 1/2 minutes of the game, then missed their last six shots before the break. TCU missed nine of it last 10.

Kansas is home Saturday to play West Virginia.

 in the rearview, all eyes in St. Joseph are turning to ensuring the 
return of Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp this summer. &nbsp;

 in the rearview, all eyes in St. Joseph are turning to ensuring the 
return of Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp this summer. &nbsp;Mayor 
John Josendale says the effort to keep Chiefs Training Camp at Missouri 
Western is a combined effort between the city, Chamber of Commerce, 
Mosaic Life Care, as well as Missouri Western. &nbsp;Josendale says the Chiefs are very demanding with Chiefs President Mark Donovan wanting every year to be bigger and better.&nbsp;"Last
 year we kind of did that, so this year doing it with the world champion
 Chiefs and being able to do it in St. Joe, we're looking forward to 
that," Josendale tells host Barry Birr on the KFEQ Hotline. "So, we're 
going to plan for them being here, hopefully that comes through in the 
next couple of months that they're here, and we'll build on that."&nbsp;Chiefs
 Training Camp has been hosted at Missouri Western State University 
since 2010, except for the COVID year.&nbsp; Josendale says currently the 
deal being negotiated is on a year-to-year basis.&nbsp;"We know that 
we did very well last year, that we got very strong reviews, we know 
that Andy Reid does like being in St. Joe," Josendale says. &nbsp;Josendale says it's also well known that the players enjoy being here as well.&nbsp;"They
 come up here, they stay, they get away from the home life in Kansas 
City or wherever they're from, it blends them together and puts them in 
together to where they build that team comradery," Josendale explains.&nbsp;The
 Chiefs would be coming back to St. Joe as world champions, after 
defeating the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.&nbsp; Mayor John Josendale says he 
thinks it's fair that St. Joseph can take a little credit for that, as 
the place that journey started.&nbsp;"We put our best foot forward 
when we show the town at that, and this is something that's really 
exciting, not only for us, but when Kansas City wins a world 
championship, St. Joe wins also," Josendale says.
