TORONTO (AP) — Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a tiebreaking double in the seventh inning, Bo Bichette had two hits and two RBIs in his return from injury and the Toronto Blue Jays held on to beat the Kansas City Royals 5-4 on Friday night.

Guerrero’s two-run double off right-hander Carlos Hernández (1-10) helped the Blue Jays (78-63) hold onto the final AL wild-card berth with their fourth win in five games.

Bichette went 2 for 5 and scored once after being activated off the 10-day injured list before the game. The two-time AL hits leader returned after missing nine games because of a strained right quadriceps.

Blue Jays rookie Davis Schneider reached base four times. He doubled in the second and fourth, and walked in the sixth and seventh.

Chad Green (2-0) got two outs for the win and left-hander Tim Mayza got one out in the eighth. Closer Jordan Romano recorded the final four outs for his 33rd save in 36 chances despite giving up an RBI single to Salvador Perez in the ninth. Edward Olivares flied out to end it, stranding runners at first and second.

Kansas City left-hander Austin Cox had to be helped off the field in the the seventh after appearing to injure his left knee while covering first base.

Cox struck out pinch hitter Santiago Espinal to begin the inning, but went down in pain while trying to get to the base on Alejandro Kirk’s infield single. Hernández came on to replace Cox.

Tyler Heineman pinch ran for Kirk and advanced on a wild pitch before Kevin Kiermaier flied out. George Springer walked and Bichette tied it with a first-pitch single.

Guerrero followed with a two-run double. He has 16 RBIs in 24 career games against Kansas City.

Pinch-hitter Ernie Clement capped the four-run rally with a two-out RBI single off left-hander Tucker Davidson.

Bobby Witt Jr. cut it to 5-3 in the eighth when he doubled and scored on a fielder’s choice grounder by pinch-hitter Olivares.

Royals outfielder Dairon Blanco hit a two-out solo homer off left-hander Yusei Kikuchi in the third, his second.

It was the second homer off Kikuchi in 10 starts since the All-Star break. Kikuchi allowed one run and three hits in five innings. He walked one and struck out eight.

Toronto tied it against right-hander Alec Marsh in the sixth when Kiermaier led off with a triple and scored on Bichette’s one-out double.

Kansas City reclaimed the lead with a two-out rally against right-hander Trevor Richards in the seventh. Freddy Fermin singled and scored on Nick Loftin’s triple. Richards left after walking Kyle Isbel and Green came on to strike out Blanco.

Right-hander Collin Snider opened for the Royals and allowed one hit in two scoreless innings.

Royals: Kansas City activated 1B Nick Pratto (left groin) off the IL and optioned INF Matt Beaty to Triple-A Omaha.

Blue Jays: Manager John Schneider said C Danny Jansen will miss the rest of the regular season after having surgery Thursday on his fractured right middle finger. Jansen’s status for the playoffs will be evaluated if Toronto advances to the postseason. … 3B Matt Chapman resumed hitting and fielding drills Friday after having a splint removed from his sprained right middle finger.

To make room for Bichette, Toronto optioned INF Mason McCoy to Triple-A Buffalo.

WICHITA, Kan. –&nbsp;Wichita State Athletics announced plans to add women's bowling as a NCAA Division I sport competing in 2024-25. Women's bowling will become the 16th&nbsp;sport at Wichita State, launching July 1, 2024. Current women's bowling coach Holly Harris will serve as the program's first NCAA Division I women's head coach.

"The historical success of women's bowling at Wichita State University is unparalleled nationally," Saal said. "Five decades of tremendous alumni and coaches' contributions, this program is equipped to launch as an immediate competitor in NCAA post-season competition. Over the next year we will work diligently on all elements of the transition to an NCAA program, most importantly aligning championship-level resources to meet championship expectations."

The Wichita State women's bowling program has a storied history which includes 10 Intercollegiate Team Championships (1975, 1977, 1978, 1986, 1990, 1994, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2021) and five Intercollegiate Singles Champions (2006, 2007, 2009, 2017, 2023).The team won the national collegiate team championship in 1975, which was the first ever held, and won three of the first four. The Shockers have only missed advancing to the national championship tournament one time since 1975. The tournament typically includes the top-16 teams in the country.

The Shockers have finished in the top-four at the national tournament 35 times out of the 47 trips to the collegiate nationals. Five former Shockers have gone on to win a national title on the Professional Women's Bowling Association Tour. Currently eight Shocker alums are full-time on the tour with many others competing on a part-time basis.

Since the 2000-01 season, 56 women have made a combined 136 NCBCA Scholar-Athlete teams, 30 have made a combined 65 NCBCA All-America teams, seven have combined to earn nine MVP awards or Player of the Year honors and 33 have been selected to national teams.

Since the Collegiate National Team Championships started in 1975, 62 women have been part of a national championship, 10 have been a part of two national championships and one (Karma Wagner-Mason) has been part of three national championships. Wagner-Mason is the only woman in college bowling history to accomplish this feat.

Holly Harris will continue as head coach of the program as she transitions it into NCAA Division I. She has served as head coach of the club program since June of 2019 and has led the team to a national championship in 2021, a runner-up appearance in 2022 and a third-place finish in 2023. She is a four-time National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association Coach of the Year finalist and has had five players earn All-America honors a total of eight times.

"I'm incredibly grateful to President Muma and Director of Athletics Kevin Saal for the opportunity to lead the women as they move to the NCAA Division I level," Harris said. "Our program is thrilled to combine our championship caliber team with the many opportunities that an NCAA Division I experience can provide for our student-athletes. Coach Harris has coached one Rookie of the Year (2022), one Player of the Year (2021) and 25 NCBCA Scholar-Athlete Award winners.

Before becoming head coach, Harris served as assistant coach of the program from August of 2016-June of 2019 and helped lead the team to a third-place finish at the 2017 National Tournament and a ninth-place finish in 2018.Harris also competed for the Shockers as a four-year member of the bowling team from 2010-14. She competed three times at collegiate national championships and finished in the final four two times. She was a two-time NCBCA All-American, two-time member of Junior Team USA, a 2014 Team USA member and earned four gold medals at the 2012 Tournament of Americas.

The NCAA Bowling Championship is a sanctioned women's championship in college athletics and features teams from Division I, Division II and Division III competing together. The championship was first held in April 2004.The collegiate bowling season runs from late October through the end of March, and the National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship is held in April.

The Rhatigan Student Center will serve as the home venue for the program. The Wichita State men's bowling program will remain a sport supported by the Rhatigan Student Center as the NCAA doesn't sponsor men's bowling.

On Friday, October 20, Wichita State will host an event to celebrate the accomplishments of the program and the movement into NCAA Division I. The Hutchinson Community College football team is back on the road Saturday to face another nationally ranked opponent as the No. 1-ranked Blue Dragons travel to play the fifth-ranked Iowa Central Tritons in a noon kickoff at Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

The game will be broadcast live on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) and sister stations KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5) beginning at 11:30 a.m. with Countdown to Kickoff. Glen Grunwald (play-by-play), Daren Dunn (color) and Sean Boston (sidelines) will have the call. The game will be streamed exclusively on Iowa Central's YouTube channel.

This will be the second-straight season the Blue Dragons (2-0) and Tritons (2-0) meet as ranked teams. Last season the Blue Dragons were No. 2 and Tritons No. 7 as Hutchinson prevailed 31-28 in overtime after&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/fball/2023-24/bios/segraves_cole_l712">Cole Segraves</a>' 39-yard walk-off field goal at Gowans Stadium.

No. 1 for a second-straight week, the Blue Dragons own two decisive victories over No. 11 Navarro (42-6) and unranked Ellsworth (72-7). Iowa Central has knocked off Independence (28-15) and No. 5 Garden City (30-20), rallying from a 13-point deficit.

The Blue Dragons racked up 441 rushing yards while holding Ellsworth to a negative-53 yards.&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/fball/2023-24/bios/reed_jr._tyrell_3b4y">Tyrell Reed Jr.</a>&nbsp;went for 171 yards on the ground on just nine carries with three touchdowns.&nbsp;<a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/fball/2023-24/bios/shaw_amaris_6jge">Amaris Shaw</a>&nbsp;rushed for 139 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns.

Iowa Central quarterback Justin Silverstein led the Triton comeback against Garden City last week throwing for 200 yards and three touchdowns on 22 of 44 passing. Receiver Mario Sanders had six catches for 106 yards and three touchdowns, including a game-tying 16-yard touchdown catch late in the third quarter.

Blue Dragon head coach Drew Dallas will be coaching in his 34th game on the Hutchinson sideline. The matchup against No. 5 Iowa Central will be 16th against a ranked opponent. The Blue Dragons are 13-2 against ranked opponents under Dallas, going 10-2 against foes ranked in the NJCAA Top 10.

After Saturday's game in Iowa, the Blue Dragons will have the first of two bye weeks next Saturday before opening Jayhawk Conference play on September 23 against Coffeyville at home.

MANHATTAN, Kan.&nbsp;– Kansas State head coach&nbsp;Jerome Tang&nbsp;announced the addition of three graduate assistant managers to his coaching staff on Friday (September 8) for the 2023-24 season.

In addition to the return of&nbsp;Brandon Branch&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jaycee Cruz, Tang welcomes former walk-on&nbsp;Nate Awbrey, former South Plains College, Louisiana-Monroe and Maine student-athlete&nbsp;Chris Efretuei&nbsp;and former North Texas head student manager&nbsp;Jarad Hollis&nbsp;to his staff.

The trio join a 2023-24 coaching staff that includes Tang, associate head coach&nbsp;Ulric Maligi, assistant coaches&nbsp;Jareem Dowling&nbsp;and&nbsp;Rodney Perry, Chief of Staff&nbsp;Marco Borne, Special Assistant to the Head Coach&nbsp;Anthony Winchester, Director of Player Development&nbsp;Austin Carpenter, Director of Men’s Basketball Operations&nbsp;Bailey Bachamp, Director of Video and Analytics&nbsp;Franklin Miskelly, Strength coach&nbsp;Phil Baier&nbsp;and Ice Family Basketball Center Sports Medicine Coordinator&nbsp;Luke Sauber.

Winchester and Borne were both elevated to on-court roles after the NCAA passed legislation allowing two extra on-court coaches in men’s and women’s basketball in 2023-24. Miskelly is the only new full-time staff member after serving two years as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Mississippi State, where he helped the Bulldogs to the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Nate Awbrey&nbsp;(Manhattan Christian College ’22) A Manhattan native, Awbrey is in his first season as a graduate student manager in 2023-24 after playing his final season of eligibility as a walk-on at K-State in 2022-23. He joins the staff after spending one season (2022-23) as a graduate assistant at new Big 12 foe BYU, where he helped the Cougars post a 19-15 record, including a 7-9 mark in WCC play.

The native of Abuja, Nigeria played in 72 games with 59 starts at Louisiana-Monroe (2019-21) for head coach&nbsp;Keith Richard&nbsp;and at Maine (2021-22) for head coach&nbsp;Richard Barron&nbsp;after a two-year stint (2017-19) playing for Hall of Fame coach&nbsp;Steve Green&nbsp;at NJCAA power South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.

Most of Efretuei’s starts came while playing at ULM, where he averaged 5.1 points on 54.5 percent shooting with 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 19.2 minutes per game in starting 50 of 53 games. He ranked in the Sun Belt Conference’s top-10 in blocks both seasons (2019-20 and 2020-21) at ULM, including sixth (1.2 bpg.) as a senior in 2020-21. His best season as a Warhawk came as a junior in 2019-20, where he averaged 5.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in starting 26 of 28 games played.

Efretuei took advantage of his final year of eligibility at Maine in 2021-22, where he averaged 3.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 19 games with 9 starts for the Black Bears. Overall, he averaged 4.6 points on 52.8 percent shooting in his 72-game Division I career with 3.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 16.9 minutes per game.

Efretuei is no stranger to the Sunflower State, having played in consecutive NJCAA Final Four (2018, 2019) at the national tournament in Hutchinson as a player at South Plains, including the national championship as a freshman.

He helped the Texans to a 56-14 record, including a 98-95 win over Southern Idaho to claim the 2018 NJCAA National Championship.

Efretuei prepped at Fort Love Christian Academy in Pittsburgh.

Efretuei earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from ULM in 2021 then added a bachelor’s in journalism from Maine in 2022. He is working towards a master’s in counseling and student development at K-State.

Jarad Hollis&nbsp;(North Texas ’23) A native of Monroe, La., Hollis joins the staff after serving the last 4 seasons (2019-23) as the head manager for&nbsp;Grant McCasland&nbsp;at North Texas.

During Hollis’ time at UNT, the Mean Green enjoyed one of the greatest stretches in school history, totaling 94 victories to go along with one NIT Championship (2023), one NCAA Tournament appearance (2021), two NIT appearances (2022, 2023), two Conference USA regular-season championships (2020 and 2022) and one C-USA Tournament title (2021). In all, the squad compiled a 94-35 (.729) overall record, including a 55-15 (.786) mark in league action.

Hollis was part of some of the school’s greatest moments, including the first-ever C-USA regular-season championship in 2020, the historic overtime 78-69 victory over fourth-seeded Purdue in the 2021 NCAA Tournament as well as the school-record 31-7 record and first-ever NIT Championship in 2022-23.

Prior to North Texas, Hollis spent time at Navarro College, where he earned an associate degree in general studies in 2019. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from North Texas in 2023. He is working towards a master’s in counseling and student development at K-State.

Branch (a native of Memphis, Tenn.) and Cruz (a native of Toronto) were part of a coaching staff that helped the Wildcats win 26 games and advance to the Elite Eight in 2022-23.

🏐 KVA releases week 1 high school rankings

Starting with defensive back Jerry Jacobs on Thursday night in Kansas City, there are 10 former Hutchinson Community College football players on NFL Opening Day Rosters for the 2023 season.

Jacobs, who plays for the Detroit Lions, opens the 2023 NFL season on Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Former Blue Dragons will be on both sidelines Thursday night as former Hutchinson head coach Andy Hill (1994-95) is now a special teams assistant for the Chiefs.

As the 2023 NFL season starts this week, there are 10 former Blue Dragons on active rosters, four more former Dragons on NFL developmental squads and four former coaches now working in the league.

The longest-tenured former Blue Dragon in the NFL is All-American Cordarrelle Patterson, who begins his third season with the Atlanta Falcons and 11th overall professional season.

Patterson, who played at Hutchinson in 2010 and 2011 before moving on to Tennessee, is still one of the most feared kickoff return specialists in the NFL. He has nine career returns for touchdowns and averages 29.5 yards per return. Patterson owns an NFL record that can never be broken after he returned a kickoff 109 yards in his rookie season of 2013.

The newest member of the Blue Dragon Club in the NFL is Las Vegas Raiders' defensive back Jakorian Bennett, who was drafted in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Another NFL rookie is receiver Mitchell Tinsley, who was an undrafted free agent signee by the Washington Commanders.

The Green Bay Packers have a pair of former Blue Dragons in All-Pro linebacker Devondre Campbell and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt.

Campbell begins his eighth season overall and his third with the Packers. Campbell was one of Green Bay's top tacklers last season with 96 tackles. He started his career in 2016 with the Falcons. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Wind Surge and the Hooks both had only one run heading into the ninth inning. The tie ballgame was decided by Willie Joe Garry Jr. in the top of the ninth when he took advantage of a throwing and error and displayed excellent base running skills by reaching home. The Wichita Wind Surge defeated the Corpus Christi Hooks by a score of 2-1. The Hooks now lead the series two games to one.

Wichita jumped out in front in the top of the second inning. Seth Gray hit a solo home run on a fly ball to right field.

The lead did not last long. Corpus Christi also got a home run in the second inning. Chad Stevens tied the game up in the bottom of the inning when he hit a solo home run on a line drive to left field.

Garry Jr. broke the tie in the top of the ninth off some skillful base running. The Hooks catcher made an error attempting to throw out Garry Jr. stealing second and Garry Jr. took advantage of the situation and took off towards home. He beat the throw home and the Wind Surge took a late lead.

Pierson Ohl made his 13th start of the season for the Wind Surge. He pitched five and one third innings where he gave up one run off four hits. He struck out four batters and walked one. Curtis Taylor earned the win, and his record improves to (2-5).

The Corpus Christi Hooks starting pitcher A.J. Blubaugh pitched three and one third innings where he gave up one run off two hits. He struck out four batters and walked two more. Julio Robaina was credited with the loss, and his record falls to (8-6).

The first place Wichita Wind Surge improve to (33-27, 61-67) and the Corpus Christi Hooks fall to (31-29, 64-65).

NOTES: Yoyner Fajardo extended his reached base streak to 22 consecutive games. The streak is the longest of any Wind Surge player this season. Curtis Taylor has not allowed a run in nine and one third innings.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Lions walked into roaring Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night, where the Kansas City Chiefs are nearly unbeatable and were trying to open their latest Super Bowl title defense with a win, and proved what Detroit coach Dan Campbell has come to know in turning around the long downtrodden franchise.

“This is a resilient team,” Campbell said. “We're built to handle some stuff.”

Under the bright spotlight of the NFL's season opener, Jared Goff threw for 253 yards and a touchdown, new Lions running back David Montgomery&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1699980983922270258">ran for the go-ahead score</a>&nbsp;late in the game and Detroit held on for&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/mahomes-dropped-passes-chiefs-lions-c8ae8f426ed6bf1bc861241ec5edcce9">a 21-20 victory over the Chiefs</a>.

“We expected to win this game,” said Campbell, who won just three games his first season but led the Lions to eight wins over their final 10 games a year ago, when they went 9-8 and narrowly missed the playoffs. “We came in here, knew what we needed to do, knew it wasn’t going to be easy, and we did that. We won.”

Amon-Ra St. Brown had six catches for 71 yards and a score, and Lions rookie&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1699967866613928243?s=20">Brian Branch returned Patrick Mahomes' first pick</a>&nbsp;in an opener 50 yards for another touchdown, helping Detroit snap the Chiefs' eight-game Week 1 winning streak.

The Lions also snapped their own five-game skid in season openers.

“A lot of work has been put in this offseason,” Goff said, “and you want to start off winning the first one, and we did that today. We didn't play the best on offense, I thought the defense kept us in the game, but we found a way.”

The Lions were trying to run out the clock when&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1699984191243661747?s=20">Goff's fourth-down pass near midfield was batted down</a>&nbsp;with 2:30 left, giving the Chiefs a chance. But they made a mess of it: Kadarius Toney dropped a potential 20-yard gain, a deep completion was called back for holding, Skyy Moore dropped a pass and a false start left&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1699985349777428655?s=20">Mahomes heaving a fourth-and-25 throw</a>&nbsp;downfield.

When it fell incomplete and Detroit took over, Montgomery ran for a first down and the Lions ran out the clock.

Mahomes finished with 226 yards passing and two touchdowns, despite his receivers dropping a slew of passes. He also was the leading rusher for the Chiefs, whose self-inflicted wounds proved too much to overcome.

There had been equal parts anticipation and anxiety leading up to the game in Kansas City, where the Chiefs had celebrated their previous Lombardi Trophy in the midst of a pandemic, and only about 18,000 fans were able to join in the revelry.

Hundreds began tailgating outside the Arrowhead Stadium parking lots 14 hours before kickoff Thursday, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell along with about 80,000 more people joined them to see the Chiefs raise their latest championship banner.

That was the anticipation. The anxiety came from&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/chiefs-lions-travis-kelce-52ad950cf2472c589bd48ee813145cd3">the absence of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and fellow All-Pro Chris Jones</a>, who is in the midst of a contract holdout. The defensive tackle was expected to miss the opener, but Kelce had only been questionable since Tuesday, when he hyperextended his knee in the final full practice before game day.

“It wasn't feeling right,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. “I wasn't going to put him out there with that, and he was honest with me.”

Detroit scored first in a showdown of two of the league’s top offenses a year ago. Goff took advantage of a clean pocket, thanks in part to Jones sitting in a stadium suite, to march down field and find St. Brown with a 9-yard touchdown pass.

The Chiefs answered with Mahomes finding five different wide receivers on a long drive, the last of them rookie Rashee Rice, who atoned for an earlier drop by snaring a short touchdown pass to knot the game at 7-apiece.

It remained that way until Campbell made a questionable decision late in the half.

The Chiefs were facing fourth-and-2 near midfield but had been called for holding, and rather than decline it, Campbell chose to push them back. Mahomes responded to third-and-17 by hitting Marquez Valdes-Scantling with a 24-yard strike. He added a 26-yard pass to Justin Watson, then hit Blake Bell with a short TD throw to give the Chiefs a 14-7 halftime lead.

With the Lions' offense still going nowhere in the second half, the defense stepped up. Branch caught a pass that bounced off Toney’s hands and found nothing but 50 yards of grass separating him from the end zone and a 14-all tie.

Up to that point, Mahomes had thrown 20 touchdown passes without an interception in five-plus season openers.

The Chiefs tacked on two field goals, but the missed chances to get into the end zone proved costly. The Lions followed up Harrison Butker’s second kick by driving 75 yards, twice converting on third down, with Montgomery capping the march with a 9-yard touchdown run that gave Detroit the the lead for good.

“The Lions did a heck of a job. They capitalized on a couple of things and we've got to fix it,” Reid said. “I liked the aggressiveness on the defensive side. There were some good things on offense. We just have to be more consistent.”

The Lions’ Marvin Jones fumbled away a good scoring chance in the second quarter, when Trent McDuffie knocked the ball out deep in Kansas City territory. It was the veteran wide receiver’s first fumble in his 12-year career and came on his 563rd touch, the longest active streak in the NFL.

🏈 Lions spoil Chiefs' celebration of Super Bowl title by rallying for win in the NFL's opener

Hays - For the first 30 minutes, the Fort Hays State football team went toe-to-toe with No. 3 Pittsburg State but the defending MIAA champs dominated the second half and beat the Tigers 40-14 at Lewis Field.

The Tigers (1-1, 1-1 MIAA) held a 14-13 lead at halftime, but the Gorillas (2-0, 2-0 MIAA) outscored them 27-0 in the second half on their way to their 14th-straight MIAA win. FHSU was held to only one first down and 50 total yards in the second half.

After getting a fourth-down stop near mid-field on the Gorillas first possession, the Tigers scored on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Jack Dawson to Bryson Smith to grab an early 7-0 lead. It was the Houston transfers first catch as a Tigers.

Pitt State scored the next 10 points with a 39-yard field goal at the 6:33 mark of the first quarter and a nine-yard touchdown pass on fourth down with 4:46 to play in the second which capped a 17-play drive that ate up over nine minutes and saw the Gorillas convert on three fourth down plays.&nbsp;

The Tigers took the lead back on a seven=yard TD strike from Dawson to Jayden Horace&nbsp;with 1:15 to go in the second to go up 14-10. The Gorillas scored on a late field goal to pull within a point at halftime.

The Tigers punted five times and threw an interception in their six second-half possessions and went three-and-out four times.

Dawson completed 15-of-32 passes for 165 passing yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Cale Cormaney&nbsp;led the Tigers in receiving yards with 52, while Trevor Watts&nbsp;had a team-high four catches. Travis Dixon&nbsp;led FHSU in rushing with 37 yards. FHSU generated only 47 rushing yards as a team. Makel Williams led the Tiger defense with 13 tackles, while Mason Perez&nbsp;added nine. Kobe Rome had an interception.

The Gorillas rushed for 193 yards spread among eight players, led by Ty Pennington with 43. Chad Dodson threw for 239 of the Gorillas' 283 yards through the air with two touchdowns and an interception. Devon Garrison led PSU in receiving yards with 90, while Kolbe Katsis had a team-high 14 receptions. Alex Gaskill led the PSU defense with six tackles.
