Penny Sue MacArthur, 60, died on October 27, 2020 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. She was born December 14, 1959 in Hutchinson, KS., the daughter of Loren E. and Beverly A. (Hoffman) Thompson.
Penny graduated from Hutchinson High School. She was a homemaker and a CMA for over 25 years at Wesley Towers. Penny enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and watching soap operas and loving her family endlessly.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patty Hoffman and Jonni Lynn.
Survivors include her children, Brandon (Annie) Thompson, Steffanie (Nick) Reuber, Joshua (Taylor) MacArthur, Megan (James) Thorne, Amy (Blaine) Barnes and Dustin MacArthur; four sisters, Barbara Minor, Carol Thomas, Karen Hatzenbuehler and Lori Thompson; and 10 grandchildren.
A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hutchison Health and Rehab and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
