Candace Lynn Geisdorf, 69, passed away on Friday, July 29th, 2022 in Wichita.&nbsp; She was born in Wichita, to Gerald Geisdorf and Julia (Harper) Geisdorf.&nbsp; She was a graduate from Wichita North High School.&nbsp; She spent many years living and working in Rogers, Arkansas before moving back to Wichita, Kansas.&nbsp; Candace owned a cleaning company and enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time at the lake as well as enjoying time with her dog. She loved her family and spending the holidays together.&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Julia Geisdorf and her son Kody Kutilek.&nbsp; Candace is survived by her son Jay Kutilek (Kim Matzen-Kutilek), sister Cindy Raux (Bob Raux), and brother Darin Geisdorf (Terri Hayes-Geisdorf) as well as nieces and nephews, other family and friends.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The family will be having a celebration of life in Autumn of 2022.&nbsp;

Clarene Joy “Clare” Goering, 71, of Sterling, passed away August 3, 2022, at her home. She was born October 27, 1950, in Newton, the daughter of Daniel and Erma Goering. Clare has resided in Sterling for the past ten years, formerly of McPherson. 

She graduated from Moundridge High School, Moundridge with the class of 1968. Clare was an LPN at McPherson Hospital and The Sterling Village. She loved living on the lake, swimming, caring for stray animals including ducks, geese, and cats, and sitting around a campfire and watching sunsets from her dock. Clare enjoyed listening to music at festivals and concerts, and most of all spending time with her family. 

Clare was married to Dwain Swick. The divorced, however, remained close companions for the remainder of their lives. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2017. She is also preceded in death by her parents. Clare is survived by her daughter, Laura Markley and husband Nathan of Hannibal, MO; and their children, Eliza and Arcadia; three sisters, Carol Thomas and husband Cloyd of Moundridge; Laurel Gugler of Newton; and Elvera Johnson and husband Duane of Topeka; and four stepchildren, Julie VanAmburg and husband Randy of McPherson; Debbie Swick of Overland Park; David Swick and partner Connie Bailey of McPherson; and Gary Swick of Louisville, KY. 

A private family service will be held.&nbsp;

Ronald Frank “Ron” Thilgen Sr., 81, of Lyons, passed away August 2, 2022, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born November 8, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. 

Ron has resided in Lyons for the past 28 years, formerly of Federal Heights, Colorado. He worked as a telecommunications subcontractor for twenty years, Lyons Salt Plant as a sewing machine operator for twenty years, retiring in 2012. Following his retirement, he worked for Mike’s Small Engine Repair in Lyons. 

Ron served in the United States Army from July 19, 1966 until August 11, 1967. He was a member of the VFW in Illinois, and the Sterling Bowling League, Sterling. Ron enjoyed wood working, small engine repair and working on cars. 

On May 9, 1967, Ron was united in marriage with Vicki Remley in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2013. He is also preceded in death by his parents. Ron is survived by his son, Ron Thilgen Jr. of McPherson; two daughters, Bridget Wyatt of Lyons, and Debra Bradford and Rick Rutherford of Longmont, CO; daughter-in-law, Kayla Thilgen of Lyons; five grandchildren, Brittany Rawson and husband Nicholas of Lyons, Mikey Graham of Lyons, Jennifer Bradford of Longmont, CO; Crystal Johnston and husband Nick of Longmont, CO; and Alissa Spears and husband Joshua of Lyons; eight great-grandchildren. 

Graveside service will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons, with William Wyatt officiating. Military honors by Ft. Riley Honor Guard.&nbsp;

Bill was a 1951 graduate of Red Lion High School, Red Lion, PA, and a 1959 graduate of Kansas State University, Manhattan.&nbsp; He served in the United States Navy from June 1951 to June 1955.&nbsp; Bill was the Advertising Director at the Hutchinson News, retiring with over 25 years of service.&nbsp; He was a member of the Hutchinson Rotary Club, Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce, and Highlands Country Club.

To say Bill enjoyed playing golf was an understatement.&nbsp; His obsession with golf was well known, since many of his advertising connections and business transactions were conducted on the golf course.

On July 1, 1960, Bill married Elizabeth Nell Prater, in Topeka.&nbsp; They shared over 62 years of marriage.

He is survived by:&nbsp; his wife, Elizabeth Harner of Hutchinson; children, Pamela (Harv) Monroe of Blue Springs, MO; Ron Harner of Hutchinson; and Darin (Paula) Harner of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Nathan (Krista) Treaster, Bryce Harner, Logan (Maddy) Harner, and Bailey Harner; great-grandchildren, Emma Treaster, Ryerson Treaster, Leo Harner, and Piper Harner; and twin brother, Bob (Muriel) Harner.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Barbara Hoskinson.

Harve Bernard Johnson, 84, died peacefully August 3, 2022, at Pleasant Hills, Hutchinson, with his devoted wife by his side. &nbsp;He was born November 25, 1937, in Great Bend, to Clarence Harve and Bernadine Gertrude (Ericks) Johnson.

Harve graduated from Great Bend High School in 1955, Sterling College in 1965, and received his masters degree from Wichita State University.&nbsp; After high school, he served in the United States Army Reserves for nine years.&nbsp; Harve then began teaching math, retiring from USD 308.&nbsp; He was a member of Modern Woodmen, Hutchinson Area Retired Teachers Association, a lifetime member of the National Education Association, Sterling-Lyons American Legion Auxiliary Post 128, and Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.&nbsp; Harve enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends in their Colorado cabin.

On January 19, 1957, he married Roberta Ann Foree, in Great Bend.&nbsp; They shared over 65 years of marriage.&nbsp;

Harve is survived by: his wife, Roberta of Hutchinson; sons, Harve B. Johnson, Jr. (Lori) of Lenexa and Michael S. Johnson (Cherie) of Huntington Beach, CA; sister, Nina Reed of Soldier; sister-in-law, Jolene Johnson of Great Bend; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by:&nbsp; his parents; brother, Clarence Johnson; and sister Patricia Evers.

Patti graduated from Nickerson High School in 1981, and attended Hutchinson Community College and McPherson College.&nbsp; She worked for over 25 years as a customer service representative for the Dillons Food Store at 5th&nbsp;and Adams.&nbsp; Patti enjoyed scrapbooking and watching The Young and Restless, General Hospital, and Desperate Housewives.&nbsp; She was a member of Mitchel Chapel United Methodist Church.

Patti is survived by:&nbsp; her husband and companion of over 35 years, John Peoples of Hutchinson; daughters, Harleigh Foster of Wichita and Sydney Foster of Hutchinson; siblings, Nancy Terrill and Mike Foster (Amy), all of Hutchinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and her four-legged friends, Zoey, the dog and Spooky the cat.

Rev. Ben K. Friesen, 94, entered his eternal home on August 5, 2022, at his residence after a brief health battle. He was born December 14, 1927, in Mountain Lake, MN, the fifth child of John and Katie (Rahn) Friesen.

Ben graduated from Mountain Lake Public School in 1946. He went on to get his T.H.B. from Grace Bible Institute in 1948, his B.A. and Teaching Certificate from Bethel College in Newton in 1956, and received his Master’s Degree from Oklahoma State University.

Ben served several churches in the Mennonite General Conference and was a school teacher and administrator for several years in Oklahoma and Kansas.

On June 9, 1949, he married Ann Schrag, in Pretty Prairie. After 45 wonderful years of marriage, she preceded him in death on August 16, 1994. He went on to marry RaeVella Giddens on September 17, 1995. She also preceded him in death on March 22, 2018.

Survivors include: his two children, Larry Friesen of Oklahoma City and Judy Wood of Ewa Beach, HI; three grandchildren, Kristen Tomlinson, Anna Wood, and Rebekah Wood; six brothers, Art (Maralyn), Harold (Elzora), Ernest (Debbie), Marvin (Janice), and Elvin (Sherry) Friesen; two sisters-in-law, Roselyn and Elna Friesen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; five brothers, Gerhard, Orlando (Delores), Jacob (Ardith), John, and Erwin (Janet) Friesen; three sisters, Tina Friesen in infancy, Helen (Harry) Regehr, and Olga (Glenn) Schmidt.

A celebration of his life will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in North Inman Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.

On March 19th, 1967 he married Patricia Johnson in Hutchinson, KS. They shared 55 years of marriage.

Phyllis C. Randels, 87, of Sharon, died Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Attica Long Term Care, Attica. She was born on February 18, 1935 in Tonkawa, OK, the daughter of Floyd Sr. and Hettie May (Gregory) Wood. On July 24, 1965 she married Robert Randels in Medicine Lodge. He survives. Phyllis was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church, the St. Boniface Altar Society, the Sharon Ladies Card Club and the Sharon Bowlers. Phyllis lived for her family. She was the ultimate caregiver for her husband of 57 years down to her great grandchildren. Even into her 80’s she was still cooking huge meals for family gatherings and babysitting grands and great grands! She loved attending all activities of her children and grands and was one of the loudest fans in the crowd. Phyllis also treasured her girl trips and fun with her dearest friends and her sister Lila. She was an avid bowler, card player and bingo enthusiast. There was rarely a family get together that mom/grandma wasn't the last one up still ready to socialize with any of us who could keep up with her. Mary S. Rintoul, 67, of Hutchinson, died April 14, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born March 15, 1955, in Garden City, to David and Mildred (Heinemann) Rintoul.

Mary graduated from Garden City High School in 1973, and from journalism school at Kansas University in 1977. Following her graduation from KU, she was the sports reporter for the Ellsworth Reporter and began working for the Hutchinson News in 1985, retiring as Managing Editor after 30 years. Mary loved to play bridge and Scrabble. She also interviewed the residents and compiled a newsletter for her senior community at Legend of Hutchinson.

Mary was known for her quick wit and her insightful, sometimes acerbic, writings about human beings and the institutions that they have created. She was serious, thorough, and lived up to the highest standards of journalism in her work at both the Ellsworth Reporter and the Hutchinson News.&nbsp; 

Mary is survived by her son, Max Rintoul, Dallas, TX; sisters, Helen Wells (Al), Hutchinson, Anne Rintoul, Hutchinson, Janet Young (John), Grand Junction, CO; brothers, David Rintoul (Elizabeth Dodd), Manhattan, John Rintoul (Betty), Carrboro, North Carolina; and many beloved nieces and nephews, all of whom invite Mary’s friends, relatives and former co-workers to join them in a Celebration of her Life to be held at the Hutchinson Cosmosphere, 1100 N. Jennie L. Barbee, 71, passed away Sunday, July 31,2022 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born to Rosa and Don Abel on May 5,1951 in White Cloud, Michigan. 

She married Gerald Robert Flick Sr when she was 18 yrs old and later divorced. They had three children they survived the home. Kimberly Hinostroza-Barbee (Az), Tina Vasquez-Steven Mikle (Ks) and Gerald Flick Jr aka ( Bobby) ( Ks). She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved dearly. She worked at Fry’s Grocery store in the bakery/ deli department till they retired her when she was 45 yrs old. Jennie loved to dance and sing karaoke, plus loved garage sales.

She is preceded in death parents Rosa Newton and Don Abel Sr; three brothers Tommy Abel, Ed Abel and Don Abel Jr; one sister Pam Warden; one grandson Skyler Michael James Stone, one brother in law Ray Alford and one niece Amy Alford Unterriner.

Roy Eugene Long, 81, of Windom, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 1, 2022, at his home.&nbsp; Roy was born on February 16, 1941, to James and Myrtle (Griffith) Long in Hutchinson.

He retired from Johns Manville after 25 years in the maintenance department.

Roy married Bertha “Bert” L. (Hunley) Johnson on September 20, 1965.&nbsp;

He was a former member of the Windom Fire Department, Windom Lions Club, and the Windom City Council.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha “Bert”; daughters, Bobbie (Dick) Rawson of Marquette; and Robin Wilson of Windom; son, Russell Long of Windom; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Kristen (Ryan) Leatherwood and their children, Clay and Kadee, of Wister, OK; and Jude (Zaina) Ebingha of Edmond, OK; Nicholas (Brittany) Rawson and their children, Harrison &amp; Quinten, of Lyons; Austin Wilson of Newton;&nbsp; Alissa (Olivier) Basabe of Miami, FL; step-granddaughter and three step-great-grandchildren, Gwen (Jeff) Klepper and their children, Lane, Ashtin, and Grant, of Ellinwood; sister, Janis Smyth of Hutchinson; brothers, Ronald (Jan) Long and Dean Long, all of Hutchinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert Lee "Bob" Green, 94, of McPherson, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his home in McPherson, Kansas. Robert was born in Enid, Oklahoma on July 20, 1928, a son of Teresa Mary (May) and Earl Leo Green. Robert attended Grant County schools, and graduated from Lamont High School, Lamont, Oklahoma in 1946. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church McPherson, Kansas. Robert spent most of his career in the United States Air Force where he had achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Following his discharge, he worked for Beneficial Finance prior to owning and operating a small insulating business. He was a member of the American Legion Post 24, McPherson, and the Bass Masters Club of McPherson. Robert enjoyed golfing, fishing, visiting with his friends, and spending time with his family. Robert L. Green was united in marriage to Joan Kathleen Messall on June 14, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma. This union was blessed with the birth of five sons, Michael, Mark, Steven, Timothy, and Thomas. The couple moved to McPherson in 1974 from El Dorado. John William Herpich, entered this world on February 1, 1949, born to Orlando and Lola Herpich nee’ Blomenkamp. John was baptized in the Holy Spirit on March 20, 1949, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Herington. &nbsp;John passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2022, at the Herington Municipal Hospital.

John attended St. Paul Parochial School in Herington until it’s closure. He then attended Herington Schools, graduating with the class of 1968. He then furthered his education at Salina Vo-Tech School studying diesel mechanics. As a youth John was a very active member of Herington High School FFA, and the Burdick Hustlers 4-H. On June 7, 1964, John was confirmed in his Lord and Savior at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Herington where he was a lifelong member. &nbsp;&nbsp;In 1970, John enlisted into the Kansas National Guard.&nbsp; While stationed Fort Belvoir, he met Kathleen Cater at a USO dance. On March 26, 1972, John and Kathleen married in Herington. John and Kathy adopted two children, Bevan, and Mindy.

John farmed with his grandpa and eventually took over the family farm where he lived the rest of his life. John also worked at the rock quarry north of Woodbine for 24 years as a heavy equipment operator, he then worked for Morris County as an equipment operator for another 11 years. John coached Special Olympics for 20 years.&nbsp; For 37 years, John lived for the faces of youth, he delighted every winter as he donned his “bright red suit” proudly.

John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Kathy of the home, son; Bevan Herpich, daughter; Mindy Herpich, sister; Beverly Penn, grandchildren; Haley Herpich, Ethan Herpich, Karsyn Herpich, Easton Herpich, Jacob Herpich, and Christian Schulze, great-granddaughter; Olivia Grace Chronister, nieces; Talena Penn, Sara Penn, and great nephew; Hunter Graham. Silas P.I. Stucky was born on October 14, 1927 to Peter T. and Ida JC Gehring Stucky in McPherson county Kansas. He attended the Mound Grade School and the Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge. 

Silas was baptized upon his profession of faith in Christ Jesus at the age of 16 by Rev. Walter Gehring. Faith, family, and farming were the integral parts of his life. In 1940 his family moved to a farm near Burns and he graduated from the Burns High School in 1945. He helped to build the Burns Mennonite Church and enjoyed playing basketball with his “Stucky Brothers” team. It was at a church youth party where Silas met the love of his life, Edna Guhr. 

On August 26, 1948 they were married at the Emmaus Mennonite Church of Whitewater, Edna’s home church. “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us” I Samuel 7:12 was their wedding and life verse as they depended on Him for wisdom and grace for every day. They enjoyed farming all of their married lives, trusting God to provide. When first married they farmed near Burns and Peabody. In 1956 God provided a farm north of Elbing and this became their home for the next 53 years where they raised four daughters. Many hands made light work and working together as a family on the farm brought many blessings. Daily morning devotions found them gathered around the kitchen table with Our Daily Bread and the Bible. Kneeling for prayer sought God’s wisdom and grace. From the girls’ early years the family sang together with Edna playing the guitar and Silas sharing devotionals as they gave programs in the area, known as the “Stucky Family Singers”. In 2009 at the age of 82 they retired from farming and moved into Elbing. Their legacy continues with another generation on the farm. In 2018 they moved into an independent apartment at Presbyterian Manor in Newton. In 2020 they moved into the home made for them at daughter Diane and Mark’s home. Being back with family meant so much. 

Silas passed into the presence of his Savior on August 2, 2022 at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife Edna of 73 years and their daughters and husbands, Elaine (Schmidt) of Elbing, Bonnie (Stan Graber) rural Burns, Nadine (Friesen) BC Canada, and Diane (Mark Veer) rural Newton. They have 15 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is survived by three sisters in law Ruby (John) Stucky, Faye (Joseph) Stucky, and Alice (Daniel) Stucky, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was proceeded in death by seven brothers Samuel (Florence), David (Esther), Jonas (Della), Paul (Leta), John, Joseph, and Daniel, and one sister Esther (Wayne) Ott. 

The memorial service will be held on Saturday August 13 with the burial at the Burns Countryside Church at 9:30. The service will be at 11:00 at the Zion Mennonite Church in Elbing with a lunch following. Visitation will be the evening prior on Friday Aug 12 at the Lamb Mortuary in Whitewater with family greeting from 6:00-8:00.&nbsp;

Catherine Carol (Peachey) Weaver was born in Pennsylvania on March 28, 1941, to Louis and Sadie Peachey.&nbsp; As one of nine children, she grew up on a dairy farm in the beautiful Kishacoquillas Valley. While her family worked very hard, they also enjoyed special traditions that she loved, including berry picking in the mountains, softball, homemade ice cream, visiting the ocean, reading, baking, singing, and festivities for the holidays.

Cathy came to the plains of Kansas to attend Hesston College, where she met the love of her life, Jerry. They were married August 3, 1962, and started an almost sixty-year journey together that spanned multiple churches, multiple states, and even multiple continents.&nbsp; As a preacher’s daughter herself, she never imagined she would marry a pastor, but she embraced the role and felt very blessed by the people she met and time she spent in each place. In her words, “we were privileged to share in the joys, sorrows and celebrations, and made many friends for a lifetime.” The churches they were a part of included Yellow Creek (Indiana); Hesston Mennonite, Whitestone Mennonite, Crystal Springs, Pleasant Valley (Kansas); and First Mennonite Church in Denver (Colorado). She particularly loved teaching Sunday School, being part of the Women’s Sewing Group, and serving on the First Mennonite Church Worship Committee where she had the chance to pick out hymns to fit the scripture for each service.

In addition to the full-time role of preacher’s wife, Cathy also worked incredibly hard to help support her family.&nbsp; Some of the roles she held included working as a church secretary (a role she loved), working at Prairie View, arranging flowers at Country Gardens (another one of her favorites), and working the early shift at Druber’s Donut Shop.&nbsp; After the completion of her Bethel College social work degree much later in life (something she was very proud of), she worked as a Case Manager and Manager of Homemaker Services with the Department of Aging for Reno County and then, &nbsp;after their move to Denver, also worked as Coordinator in the Alzheimer Room at an adult day care and later as a top salesperson for the Amish Showcase Furniture Store.

Upon their return to Hesston from Denver, Cathy became an active volunteer.&nbsp; The Villa Partners, Et Cetera Shop and Kauffman Museum were a few of her favorite organizations.&nbsp; Spending time with precious friends was also important, and she enjoyed being part of her book club, her Villa Bible Study and gadding about with old and new friends alike.&nbsp; Relationships were incredibly important to her, and she enjoyed each and every person she had the privilege of connecting with.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Of all her treasures, Cathy’s family was the most precious.&nbsp; Her three boys and their families meant more than anything to her and any time she could spend with the family was incredibly special.&nbsp; From sharing a meal, playing a card game, watching KU basketball, or simply walking around the arboretum, there was nothing better to her than the opportunity to be present with those she loved. &nbsp;

In recent years, Cathy faced some deep difficulties, including the illness and death of her beloved husband, hearing loss, and cancer in her own body. Through it all, Cathy’s fierce and loving nature burned brightly. She recently wrote, “I have known God’s constant presence. Even though things may change, He is beside me and will be there to the end of my life… As long as I can read…work in my garden, enjoy our family…volunteer whenever and wherever help is needed, keep in close touch with friends, and keep learning… these things make life so very rich!! And so – I’ll keep journeying on.”

Cathy died peacefully at Schowalter Villa on Sunday morning, July 31, 2022.&nbsp; May the fierce and unconditional love that Cathy shared through her care for others, her baked goods, her meals, her cards, her visits, her kind words, and her hugs (that always “felt” much bigger than her small stature) live on in all of us.

Cathy is survived by seven siblings, Louis, Sara, Lee, Charity, Ann, Iva, and James and their families; three sons: David (Emily), Bruce (Lori), and Rick (Jill); six grandchildren: Miranda (Jamie), Madelyn (Jeff), Matthew (Crystal), Ashley (Caleb), Kendrick, and Ally; and four great-grandchildren: Devon, Rowan, Caelynn, and Dawson.

John Rosalez, 73, died August 2, 2022 at NMC Health in Newton.&nbsp; He was born March 8, 1949 in Newton, to Apolonio and Margarita L (Balandran) Rosalez. On December 5, 1992 he married Juanita Arrellano and she survives of the home.

John was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton and retired as a maintenance supervisor for Wichita State University.

John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A witty man John was, he was always quick with answers and could make anything humorous. During spring and summer you could catch John watching Women’s College World Series Softball games.&nbsp; He had a love for softball, umpiring games when he was younger. John also had a love for music, which found its way quickly into John’s heart from a young age. He later joined a band in which he sang, played congas, and also played the timbales; he was in this band for 58 years. John was kind to everyone and enjoyed talking to others about anything and everything. He donated much of his free time to helping and spending time with his family. He gave so much love to those around him; a very caring person John was.

He is survived by his wife Juanita of the home; son Jon Stephey (Ashley Janzen); daughters: Christina Rosalez (Eric Ramos); Tiffany Stephey; Pepper Stephey (Jason Leal); brothers: Apolonio Rozalez and Jose Rosales; and sister:&nbsp; Mary Sanchez. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Danny R. Foos, 81, of Park City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022.&nbsp; He was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Rue Simon Foos and Jean Lucille (McKeeman) Foos.&nbsp; 

After High School he served in the U.S. Army from Feb 19, 1960 to Feb 8, 1963. He received his Associate's Degree from Northern Oklahoma College. He worked for Conoco and Ferrell Gas as a Supervisor in the natural gas and propane industry.&nbsp; After retirement he enjoyed fishing, being an amateur ham radio operator, played golf and shot pool. He had his lawn business where he loved mowing and taking care of the golf course.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Mull, JoAnn Peckham, brothers Dennis Foos and William Foos.

Danny R. Foos, 81, of Park City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022.&nbsp; He was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Rue Simon Foos and Jean Lucille (McKeeman) Foos.&nbsp; After High School he served in the U.S. Army from Feb 19, 1960 to Feb 8, 1963. He received his Associate's Degree from Northern Oklahoma College. He worked for Conoco and Ferrell Gas as a Supervisor in the natural gas and propane industry.&nbsp; After retirement he enjoyed fishing, being an amateur ham radio operator, played golf and shot pool. Wesley A. Dirks, 77, of Inman, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, surrounded by family at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired farmer, poultry producer, and carpenter.

Wes was born on September 22, 1944, in Bonners Ferry, ID, the son of Noah K. and Martha Mae (Butts) Dirks.&nbsp; He was united in marriage to Corinne Rose Reimer on July 14, 1968, at the Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Inman.

Survivors include: his wife, Corinne; four sons, Darin (Jana) Dirks of Inman; Gregory (Becky) Dirks of Morven, NC; Anthony “Tony” (Sharon) Dirks of McVeytown, PA; and Trevor (Kristin) Dirks of Windom; six siblings, Wilma Friesen of Almena, WI; Jeraldine (Odes) Unruh of Bonners Ferry, ID; James (Marty) Dirks of Creston, BC Canada; Linda (Delmar) Ensz of Inman; Elizabeth (John) Holdeman of Bonners Ferry, ID; and Alice (Glen) Isaac of Bonners Ferry, ID; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman.&nbsp; The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.&nbsp; Burial will follow at Zion Church&nbsp; Cemetery.

Michael Paul Lee, age 41, passed away on Aug. 1, 2022 at his home in Macksville.&nbsp; He was born on Mar. 25, 1981 in Gordon, NE, and was a resident of Macksvlle since 2007.&nbsp; 

Michael worked&nbsp; for the city of Macksville as a maintenance worker and part time police officer.&nbsp; He graduated from Larned High School in 2000 and was a member of the Macksville Christian Church, Oddfellows Lodge #539 and the Macksville volunteer fire department.&nbsp; 

Survivors include three sons, William “Billy” A. Lee, Hutchinson; James D. Lee, Macksville; Devin W. McMurphy, Macksville; a brother, Kenneth Lee, El Dorado; two sisters, Jessica Lee, Safford, AZ, Sonnie Jo Wilds, Glendale, AZ; his mother, Wanita Lee Wilds, Glendale, AZ.

A memorial graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022 in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, with Pastor Jacob Russell presiding.&nbsp;
