
Terry Duane Moore, 76, of Arlington, died February 9, 2025, at his farm. Terry was born October 26, 1948, in Hutchinson, to Clinton and Wanda (Brown) Moore.
Terry graduated from Nickerson High School in 1967 and served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1970, and later with the Kingman National Guard. Terry loved being a farmer and rancher and dedicated his life to this work. He enjoyed deer hunting, riding horses, and raising cattle. He was a member of Bob Campbell VFW Post 1361.
On February 3, 1973, he married Karleen Lies, at Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson.
Terry is survived by: his wife of 52 years, Karleen Moore of Arlington; children, Tricia Loehr of Haven, Amy Crockett (Nick) of South Hutchinson, and Travis Moore (Heidi) of Cheney; brothers, Ronald Moore (Lee Anne) of TX and Galen Moore (Kathy) of Nickerson; grandchildren, Emma Gentry (Derek), Ava Moore, Hanna Crockett, Lance Loehr, Wade Loehr, and Addison Crockett; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; stepfather, Everett Inghram; brother, Randy Moore and sister-in-law, Sandi Moore; uncle, Harold Moore; aunt, Anita Corwin and husband Al; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Aretha Lies; brother-in-law, P.J. Lies; and son-in-law, John Loehr.
Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Dale Levering officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Sego Cemetery, rural Reno County. Friends may sign his book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
