
JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.
Just after 9p.m. March 8, a Sheriff’s Deputy developed probable cause to search a vehicle in the 12000 block of 150th Road, according to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse. During the search of the vehicle, illegal drugs or narcotics were discovered. The vehicle occupants were identified as Tristin William Howard, 28 and Jade Heffner, 23, both of Topeka, Kansas.

Heffner and Howard were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for requested charges of Possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant (cocaine), Possession of hallucinogenic drug; Possession of THC and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
