South Hutchinson Police Department
SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred in South Hutchinson the afternoon of June 19.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., South Hutchinson police officers and deputies from the Reno County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to the 300 block of East 3rd in reference to a drive by shooting.
A female standing in front of the residence had a single gunshot wound to the wrist that was non-life threatening. The female was treated and released from the hospital.
According to South Hutchinson PD, the suspect is a juvenile and is not in custody currently.
This case is still under investigation, and this is all the information that is being released currently.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
