HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The NJCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will bring changes for students and staff at Hutchinson High School.
The tournament, normally held in March, was moved to April 19 to 24 this year because of the pandemic.
HHS students normally park in the east parking lot. During the tournament, HHS students and fans both use the parking lot.
As a result, the entrances to the east parking lot will be closed at 8:15 a.m. during the tournament. Students who enter the main lot after 8:15 a.m. or who leave and return during any time of the school day will need to present their school ID to gain entrance.
Parents picking up students will be allowed through the west entrance of the east Sports Arena parking lot simply by identifying their purpose.
