Investigation continues of fatal crash on a riverbed in SW Kansas

FORD COUNTY—Law enforcement continue investigating a fatal accident that occurred just before 4:30a.m. Saturday in Ford County.

Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Anthony Calderon reported a 2020 Red Polaris RZR XT Turbo driven by 19-year-old Natividad Ovalle Camacho was eastbound on the riverbed of Arkansas River approximately one mile east of of 102 Road and one mile south of U.S.  50. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.

Camacho and a passenger 26-year-old Julio Perez Pantoja were pronounced deceased.  The Patrol released no additional details including where Camacho and Pantoja lived.
