Alan Dean Schwertfeger, 71, was born in Preston, to Hilmer Ernest and Mildred Mae (Miskimen) Schwertfeger.
He passed away at his home in Hutchinson, October 3, 2022. Dean loved acting and directing in the stage theatre programs and chocolate ice cream. He had recently moved back from San Diego to Hutchinson to be with his family.
Alan is survived by his brother, Harlan G. Schwertfeger; nieces, Amy and Audra; nephew, Travis and his great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Hilmer and Mildred; brothers, Leroy E, Carl Wayne and David D.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
