Gavin D. Phillips of Wichita, Kansas passed away on July 6th, 2023 in Wesley Medical Center surrounded by his family. On March 26th, 2004, he was born to April Phillips and Tony Erskine. Gavin attended middle and high school in Valley Center, Kansas before completing his GED on his own. He lived in Park City, Kansas and parts of Wichita, and Nebraska until adulthood.
Gavin was a man full of life, he lived his life to the fullest everyday. When he walked into a room the mood seemed to brighten. He had a way with words and could befriend anyone after a few minutes in conversation. He worked to be the best brother, husband, and son he could everyday. Gavin enjoyed the little things in life like fishing and was extremely good at it. He also valued time with his family and always listened to good music. He was called a gentle giant by many and had a heart of gold.
He is preceded in death by his mother April Phillips.
Gavin is survived by his wife Dena Phillips, siblings T.J, Adian, and Macy (Jay), and father Tony Erskine.
