The Waters of the U.S. Rule, also sometimes called WOTUS, has been a controversial topic for several years. Each administration in the White House has swayed the EPA to broaden the rule to control private property.
Now under the Trump administration again, there is a proposed change to the rule that would respect private property rights, and ag exemptions.
However, there may be legal challenges ahead from environmental activists.
