HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Area fire crews working two separate fires in Reno County this afternoon.
The first is along the K and O Railroad tracks near the 9200 block of S. Halstead. The fire was caused by a passing train. Crews were able to stop the train and fix the problem.
The second fire is located at 11108 W. 69th Avenue which is just south of Nickerson. No word on damage or injuries from either fire at this time.
