Beverly Ann Main, 77, of Wichita, died February 7, 2024, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in Wichita. She was born February 17, 1946, in Hutchinson, to Robert and Ernestine (Metcalf) Rodarmel.
Beverly graduated from Nickerson High School in 1964. She worked at Dillons Warehouse for 40 years, making many life-long friends. She was a proud member of the Teamsters Union 795. Beverly was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with those closest to her. She enjoyed hosting many cookouts and gatherings in her home. Her door was always open, she had plenty of food and love for everyone. Her love for making custom cards and sending them to others was her way of spreading a little love and joy into everyone’s life. Beverly and her life companion, Rex, were together for 29 years. They did everything together, including attending all the grandkids sporting events, music programs, and birthdays. They also shared a mutual love for classic cars. Rex passed away May 8, 2014.
Beverly is survived by: daughter, Kimberly Ropp (Bruce), Wichita; son, Eric Main (Patrica), Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sanders (Hank), Keeley Ropp, Ashley Main, Haylee Nickel, Heath Nickel; great-grandchildren, Halsten Sanders, Hudson Sanders, Harbor Sanders; sister, Nancy Perry (Don), Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert and Ernestine (Metcalf) Rodarmel; companion, Rex Nickel; grandson, Adrik Ropp; and sister, Mary Helen.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14th from 9 am to 8 pm at Elliott Mortuary, with family present from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 15th, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
