KINGMAN, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the City of Kingman. The Boil Water Advisory for Kingman County Rural Water District No. 1 remains in effect.
The advisory was put in effect due to a water main break which caused a loss of pressure in the system supporting the residents south of E. 8th Street and east of Main Street.
Laboratory testing samples collected from the City of Kingman indicate no evidence of bacteriological contamination.
