HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Saturday afternoon thunderstorm rolled through Hutchinson and had torrential rain and golf ball size hail.

The Hutchinson Airport reported a 77 mile per hour wind gust with the storm.&nbsp;

At one point, over 5,000 customers in Hutchinson were without power, according to the Evergy outage map.

There was also a report of some significant tree damage near South Hutchinson, along with a report of golf-ball size hail four miles south of South Hutchinson.
