HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The KWBW Morning Show was honored by EAGLE Media at its annual conference this week with the company's Bob Schmidt Award, which is an award that goes to an employee-owner who demonstrates long-term involvement with a local charity, involvement beyond station promotions and events and makes a difference for the station and community.

"I'm so proud of our experienced staff and the fact that we won an award that traditionally had gone to an individual," KWBW Program Director Rob Dreher said. "The KWBW morning crew touches so many lives each morning, and that effects our community in so many positive ways. 2024 is our 89th year doing things on air that positively influence the people we share our lives with each day."

The KWBW Morning Show is live between 6:30 and 10 a.m. weekdays.

Members awarded include:

Sue Achilles
Sean Boston
John Brennan
Max Bringle
Rob Dreher

Glen Grunwald
