
The Kansas Jayhawks remain No. 2 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Men's College Basketball Poll released on Monday morning.
Purdue made the leap to No. 1 after knocking off then-No. 1 Arizona on Saturday in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Boilermakers were No. 1 earlier in the season, but have spent the last two weeks at No.3 after suffering their lone loss to Northwestern. Purdue received 48 of the 62 first-place votes.
Kansas received six first-place votes following a 75-71 win at Indiana on Saturday. The Jayhawks return to Allen Fieldhouse on Friday to host Yale.
Houston moved up one spot to No. 3 and had the other eight first-place votes. Arizona dropped three spots to No. 4.
The Big 12 Conference has four in the top 10 with Kansas, Houston, Oklahoma (No. 7) and Baylor (No. 10).
