ARLINGTON, Kan. — Motorists who travel K-11 south of Arlington can expect short delays due to a bridge replacement that will begin March 8.
The bridge over Goose Creek a little more than six miles north of the Reno-Kingman County line will be replaced.
The highway will stay open, but during the project, traffic will be diverted to a temporary road at the construction site. Motorists should be prepared to slow down through the construction zone.
Depending on the weather, the project is expected to be completed around mid-December.
King Construction Co. Inc., of Hesston, is the prime contractor for the $1,460,469 project.
