MANHATTAN, Kan. — Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard will transfer to the University of Southern California, and become the starting quarterback for the Trojans.
Howard entered the transfer portal on December 4, and visited the USC campus recently.
Howard threw for 2,643 yards with 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions over a 12-game span for the Wildcats this fall. He completed just over 61 percent of his passes.
He will play for head coach Lincoln Riley, who has a proven track record with quarterbacks. Riley was the head coach at Oklahoma from 2017-21, and would have coached against Howard during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
