On September 10th 2022 at 3:43pm heaven gained another angel, Michael L Wright at the age of 67. To his family and friends he was known as “Chopper” or “Porky”. He was a beloved father, brother and son. He spent his life loving antique cars, German memorabilia, model cars and collecting so many other antiques throughout the years but his main love was his cats and family. There was nothing he wouldn’t of done for his family or friends. He was a lifelong resident of Hutchinson, KS and a graduate of Hutchinson High in 1973. He lived a simple satisfying life in his country home for over 25 years. Before his retirement most of his jobs were sitting in the driver’s seat and included Bett’s Bakery, Anheuser-Bush, Groendyke Transport then finally owning his own business Affordable Wrecker.

He passed in peace at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center spending his last moments with his family. He is survived by his daughter Kristina Jarrett and her husband Cody Jarrett, son Chad Ringwald, and seven grandkids: Taylor Wyler and her husband Arick Wyler, Kaleb Parker, Faith Jarrett, Mikaela Jarrett, Micah Jarrett, Cody Ringwald and Jaycee Ringwald and 2 great granddaughters Aniyah and Aria Wyler all From Hutchinson, Ks. Also his younger sister Rhonda Wright of Arlington, TX and her two children Travis Kenney and Kelsey Kenney.

He is proceeded in death by his father Arthur Wright, mother Virginia Wright, both sets of grandparents and several aunts and uncles. As well as several of his beloved cats Mitten, Maverick, Noz and Baby girl. In lieu of flowers all donations can be made to Kristina Jarrett in care of Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home.
