OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman for alleged child abuse.
An Osage County woman was arrested for child abuse on Monday after law enforcement received reports of a child not attending school.
On Monday, police were called to a home in the 500 block of North 13th street in Osage City for a minor not attending school, according to the Osage City Police Department.
After further investigation, officers arrested the child's mother, Delissa Katton, 38, of Osage City, on a requested charge of child abuse. Police placed the child into protective custody and released no additional information.
