Cindy Fay Ratzlaff, 36, of Galva, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 and her baby girl, Amara Belle Ratzlaff, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Cindy was born on March 4, 1987 in West Point, Mississippi, the daughter of Levi G. and Nancy Katie (Kanagy) Hoover.

Cindy attended school at Hill and Dale Christian School of Dumas, Arkansas.

She was united in marriage to Jared Keith Ratzlaff on January 26, 2014 in Dumas, Arkansas.

Cindy was a member of the Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Galva.

She was a homemaker and worked in the food industry. Cindy previously worked in lawn care with her family business, Hoover’s Mowing Service. She was currently employed at the Tin Roof Pantry in Galva.

She is survived by her husband, Jared Ratzlaff of the home; parents; Levi and Nancy Hoover of Dumas, AR; sisters, Brenda (Sherwin) Koehn of Liberty, KY, June (Trent) Ratzlaff of Shenandoah, VA, Ruthy (Douglas) Unruh of Avera, GA, and Melissa (Austin) Loewen of Glenn, CA; brother, Delton (Abby) Hoover of Dumas, AR; mother and father-in-law, Lila and Keith Ratzlaff of Canton; sister-in-law, Ashley (Ryan) Yoder of Homeworth, OH; aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jacob and Lizzie (Peachey) Kanagy; and paternal grandparents, Noah and Lizzie (Garman) Hoover.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 21 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church.
