Hutch CC BOT to take action on revenue neutral rate

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The HutchCC Board of Trustees will meet to go over several items on Thursday.

The board will take action on whether to exceed the revenue neutral rate for the next budget year. Under the proposal the mill levy for the school would be 22 mills which is a .14 mill increase. 

If all goes as planned, the board will get their first full look at the budget in August and then hold their revenue neutral hearing and the public hearing on the budget during their meeting in September.

Also Thursday, the board will approve the sale of surplus property from the motorcycle riding class and go into executive session to discuss the ongoing negotiations with the teachers union. The next negotiation session between the two parties in July 22.

Thursday's meeting of the HutchCC Board of Trustees is at 7 p.m. at the Shears Technology Center on the HutchCC campus.
