Betty Louise Mintener, 93, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2024 at Salem Home in Hillsboro, Kansas. She was a kind, gentle lady. Betty loved her family, church, friends, farming, baseball and her animals.
Betty was born on Jan. 17, 1931, in Dillon, Kansas, the daughter of Walter J. Mintener and Mary E. (Weber) Mintener. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1949. Betty and her parents farmed in Roper, Kansas and Tribune, Kansas. After living in western Kansas from 1968-2018, Betty moved to Marion County in May 2018.
Survivors include her nephews, Richard Noeller, Fredonia, Bob (Cathy) Noeller, Colorado, Walter (Lorrie) Noeller, Salina, John (Christie) Noeller, Smolan. Great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Joan and John Ellis Noeller, nieces Cindy Noeller and Mina Lou Holcomb Weston Noeller.
Betty enjoyed her church families at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tribune, and Holy Family Parish, Marion County. She looked forward to the weekly visits from the church members when she lived in her apartment and at Hillsboro. Her family appreciates the care she received from the staff at Marion County Home Health, Salem Home and Good Shepherd Hospice.
Her family will gather with friends at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024 at St. Mark's Catholic Church for a Prayer Vigil in Marion. Her Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Church. She will be laid to rest at Greeley County cemetery on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
